Empowering Career Growth in Tech
Careerist Inc. is a transformative platform that empowers individuals to launch and advance their careers in the tech industry. With a comprehensive curriculum and dedicated mentors, Careerist ensures that even those without prior tech experience can excel. The interactive lessons, personalized career coaching, and hands-on internship opportunities provide a solid foundation for success. Graduates have praised the program for its practical approach and ongoing support in job search preparation. Careerist truly stands out for its commitment to guiding individuals towards fulfilling and lucrative tech careers.
It is a worth it
Your life will be nonexistent for 6 weeks but it is a worth it. Is there enough support from Careerist instruction? In my case, yes. But take that with a grain of salt. I happened to be in a cohort which started out with ~11 students, but by the end there were only 7 of us (Again, don't underestimate the difficulty) with 2 instructors and a TA so I had ample support. My instructors were so knowledgeable and could solve any testing problem it seemed. I lucked out with quality instructors. The quality of instruction can vary based on your cohort. We had TA sessions I think 3 times a week where our TA would help you finish any assignment you were stuck on. Since there were so few of us we really got tailored support.
Succeed in future endeavors
What I loved the most about the UX Design course is that it's designed to be hands-on. I learned design in Figma, built a portfolio, completed an internship, and ? with the help of a mentor ? landed a high-paying job in a couple of months. During the course we were given various assignments and projects that helped us apply the concepts we learned in class. This not only helped me understand the material better but also boosted my confidence in my ability to perform as a UX Designer. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to build a career in tech. It's an investment that will pay off in the long run, and I'm confident that the skills I've gained from this course will help me succeed in my future endeavors.

Happy with the outcome
Overall great course, happy with the outcome. The staff is very helpful, the instructor and assistants we had were available and flexible with all students, which was key because sometimes work and life got in the way. The course consists of the core skills needed in testing, Tableau and SQL that are needed in testing. The units were taught well, it can feel a little quick but as long as you are willing to put in the time then all is good. If I have to say one negative thing about the course it would be the fact that it does not include enough about the use of Python in software testing since some employers ask for this skill. However, I knew this before selecting the course and given the length of the course it is not something I would signal as a major criticism at all. Overall, happy and would recommend.
Switch from my previous career to testing
Careerist made it easier to switch from my previous career to testing. The instructors are always improving the courses to make sure we learn the skills required by the current industry. Overall I found that my teachers were well prepared, clear in their explanations and always ready to help. The only issue that I had with the course is the lack of writing material to refer too. Certain lessons were outdated as well but it is too expect when programmes are changing all the time. Instructors were quick to react in this case and we never lost lesson time because of it. During our project week, instructors made sure to guide us without doing the work for us and I believe that really helps set the new skills we were taught. Finally, the support with the job search has been outstanding, Careerist staff was very responsive and always ready to help.
I undoubtedly found a job quickly
I decided to change my professional career 4 months ago after hearing from friends that working as a QA allowed you to work from the comfort of your home in addition to earning a good pay. I began searching for courses to study this type of work, and when I came across Careerist, I was incredibly impressed by their perfectly designed website, which detailed the many course formats they provide. When I contacted them, they thoroughly described the entire procedure to me. My expertise was nothing when I began the online Manual QA course, but the classes supplied by the program are really simple to learn, so it was definitely the greatest choice. I also took part in internship, which is basically a great way to learn working in teams. I received a lot of assistance from Careerist in creating my cover letter, resume, and practice interviews. With their guidance, I undoubtedly found a job quickly.
Thank you Careerist for the fantastic experience!
I was introduced to Careerist by a graduate friend who found an 80K job after the online Manual QA course. I went into the course with an open mind and not sure of what I will get, but my expectations were to get at least a 70K job. First things first, the Manual QA course is very well structured and the lessons are presented in simple language that is easy to understand. Knowledge level of all the instructors was superb! It gave me a deep knowledge and understanding of software testing methodologies, as well as prepared me for a job interview. The most important thing is that you not only get deep theoretical knowledge, but real software testing oh-hand experience, which is essential for the work. The whole process was really interesting and engaging. The amount of help and confidence provided was tremendous. Mentorship program, which is 1-on-1 calls with the mentor was just amazing! I graduated from the Manual QA course at Careerist and found my 70K job within 3.5 months of my active job search. Thank you Careerist for the fantastic experience! Will definitely come back for QA Automation course in the nearest future!
Here is the truth!
Here is a link for everyone wanting to start a course and get $ 200$ off. https://crst.co/LAURA4HC
But first, read my review and decide for yourself if it is worth it!
My mother, who had no experience in this field, took the Careerist course about three years ago and got a great job. When I say a great job, I mean she makes working from home over 200k and experiences no stress or does not feel overwhelmed with a workload. She has a flexible schedule and tons of benefits, and she performed first-class work that she had been taught how to do at Careerist.
Last year, she recommended that I should take the course, even though I am a full-time student; she said I would not have a problem keeping up with a Careerist course load, and I would be able to find a job that I would be able to do parallel with my school studies. She was right! I took a course, and it was a fantastic experience! Every instructor was so caring and helped me and all the other students understand the material and learn how to perform quality QA work. After completing the main course, we were assigned two internships, which later became a part of our resume. Moreover, a Careerist provides you with a mentor who helps you study for interviews, makes you a resume, and helps you build your LinkedIn account. Which other school would do something like this?
In conclusion, it is the best school, and I am grateful for all the knowledge and experience I gained at Careerist! I am also about to start my new job, which allows me to work from home like my mother and have an easy and flexible schedule so that I can complete my main degree stress-free.
Feedback was the biggest revelation for me
I lacked a tech background when I joined Careerist. I made mistakes in my tasks. Instead of just telling me that I did something wrong, the teachers analyzed my mistakes together with me. They improved my way of thinking which made me feel more confident. Even though some groups tend to be large, tutors find time for everyone. Individual mentorship is really individual!
Good preparation for the labor market
I’ve been working for a tech startup for two months already. And I really want to thank Careerist for acquainting me with the industry. The way people behave and communicate here is different from the traditional world of offline professions. Our teachers warned us that we would need to pick up new knowledge on the go and this is exactly what’s happening. I don’t feel like I’m an outsider.
Fully appreciated the importance of career coaching only after graduation
A friend of mine’s a tester just like me but I completed the Careerist course and he’s self-taught. He’s been wanting to get a full-time job for over a year already but employers have only offered him projects. I found a full-time remote job 14 weeks after graduation. I was picky and didn’t accept an offer with a low salary. I can only recommend Careerist to people whose goal is not limited to becoming technologically knowledgeable but who want to get employed on good conditions.
Worth its price
Throughout my studies I was worried about how fast I would be able to get a job. I needed money badly. I knew that some students remain unemployed for months after graduation. Fortunately, the quality of career coaching on the course was high. I rehearsed the job interview and composed a portfolio. It took me two months to find a job. I’ve already earned the money I spent on getting an education. Thanks, Careerist!
Thank you for being so good!
You can tell the teachers are experienced without even looking at their bios. The way they speak, as well as the information they give, says it all. The best thing is that everyone understands that it’s a course limited by time, so they try to give as much info as they can within a time limit, and we try to absorb as much as we can. So again, mentors and teachers from the sales engineering course – thank you so much for being professional and passionate about your job!
Useful for future career
During the course I spent many hours discussing employment opportunities in the group and individually with my mentor. She explained how to apply for vacancies, what salary to expect and how to impress interviewers. The internship part of the course was really practice-oriented. I began to search for jobs one month before graduation. I’m not employed yet but I know I will be sometime soon.
Exceeded my expectations
The curriculum was comprehensive and the instructors were not only knowledgeable but also very supportive. The hands-on projects gave me practical experience, and the flexibility of the online format fit perfectly with my schedule. I also appreciated the strong sense of community–fellow students and mentors were always ready to collaborate. Kudos to Careerist for delivering such a top-notch learning experience!
Friendly vibes, a lot of info and career guidance
I completed the manual qa boot camp. Maybe I will complete qa automation too, but later. I had never studied online before and I didn’t know what to expect. The first module, software qa fundamentals, seemed a bit too abstract to me. But then we switched to web testing and mobile testing and we nailed it! The module preparing us for the job market was among the best too. 👍
Careerist isn't your traditional way of learning and breaking into the tech industry but i must say it is effective
Careerist isn't your traditional way of learning and breaking into the tech industry but i must say it is effective. I was able to learn a lot through the courses and internship. I can confidently say i can thrive in a live work environment. And the mentors make sure you are fully prepared for the job search. Its all up to you to and your work ethic.

I signed up for a webinar and sat through the whole thing. It was as bad as being in *** and going to a TIMESHARE Pitch, Literally BOTS in chat giving thumbs up. I did confront with factual research and they tried to discredit my info. It is a PONZI SCAM at Best. I feel bad for anybody who falls for it. I asked legitimate questions about certifications and the level they train you for and was answered with "you never need that on the job" and "you only need to know enough about that to get through the interview" so pretty much they are willing to teach you the minimum amount of info so you can trick an employer into hiring you. They then proceeded to say a list of companies their graduates are hired to by reading a list in their screen, I know for fact those companies want IT BA or experience equivalent. They tried saying all Manual QA titles pay the same not true. They are SALES not tech people on Webinar, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. there are programs 1/2 the price through your local University that will get you entry level placements...NO ONE is going to hire you to start your career with just this course.
Horrible. This course was terrible. The homework was graded and feedback wasnt given for weeks on end. At one point I didnt get graded homework until a year later, a year. They drag their feet, they say one thing of guaranteed job and dont come through. Then fight you to get your money back. I started on Feb 2022, still fighting to get my money back. The level of unprofessionalism is absurd here. The lack of contact and candor is frustrating to say the least. There is no internship they sell you on things they dont come through on.
The *** course was great! The instructors are fun and very knowledgeable, and they are very clear even in spite of slight language barriers at times. The online dashboard makes it simple to follow along. No complaints!
I had a wonderful experience
I had a wonderful experience. The teachers are all educated professionals and well versed in their field. The mentors are always present and available for questions, diligently monitor our growth and always full of guidance and words of encouragement. I feel prepared for my journey as a sales engineer and I would recommend careerist to anyone wanting to break into tech.

I enrolled in the Sales Engineering Program for $3,200 in January 2023. The positives- the teachers are seasoned Sales Engineers and the other students are very nice. The cons- you will not have enough technical skills to get hired as an SE after their program. It is more like an intro course, but they dont tell you that. They act like you will bw able to get an SE job write away when you have your first appintment to pay for the course. They ask you to lie on your resume. My Careerist group had 70 people and not one of us have gotten an SE job in 4 months. And only 1 of us got a job and their job is in Tech sales not SE. The price is not worth it. They sell you a dream but you will NOT be able to get an SE job simply by taking the Careerist bootcamp even if you have a college degree. The program was not worth the price. Wish I could get my money back.
I've just graduated from the Manual QA course. The course is structured and a lot of additional topics are covered that I like a lot. All teachers are great and knowledgeable. The internship is very helpful to get real experience and all instructions were given. With appropriate time and effort easy to do. What caught my eye was the course program that included Internal Internship, External Internship, and the very important part one-to-one mentorship until the goal (my new job) is reached. I'm on the way to change my life and I'm confident that I'll get my job soon. One more thing I like a lot is the weekly Graduates' meeting with success stories. I watch them in recording and participate online whenever I have time to stay motivated and ask questions. I would definitely recommend the Careerist QA Manual course to anyone who wants to start from scratch in a new career.
Deciding to bet myself and sign up for Careerist Sales Engineering program proved to be a great move for me to break into the tech industry. From day one I was super focused and completely locked in with the goal of getting the absolute most out the program as possible. Instructors were engaging, supportive and patient with students and it even became commonplace for them to stay one, two hours over normal class hours just to take questions so that we all could have a better understanding of the more complex technical subject matters. Easily one of the my favorite learning experiences and I owe it all to the incredible instructors and career mentors Careerist has in place. During the course they place you with one of two career mentors, the first of which is there to assist you in creating a professionally constructed resume and also help you with building your online business presence on Linkedin. After successfully completing the course you are placed with a different career mentor who is there to assist with any job search tips, tricks, etc as you are now actively applying and interviewing for tech sales roles. Just another way Careerist is there even after completing the course you're still feeling fully supported. I landed my first tech sales role in two months after my graduation date and I truly owe a lot of it to Careerist for making a long time passion of mine a reality.
Careerist is a scam
Careerist is a scam. I start this course 3 years ago. It was name Jobeasy. They lied about your resume. Create a dummy website and put it on your resume. if you did not get the job then said your English is not good that's why you did not get the job. Only those who get a job anyone has IT experience or an IT degree. Right now they block my account and even my mentor does not support me and not giving my money back
I paid with for $3300 almost to take the Careerist Sales Engineer program. When I signed up for the course there were suppose to be to be 30 people and behold there were over 400 people in the class. This is not what I signed up for. The program was very much misrepresented as I didn't receive what the curriculum offered as a Sales Engineer role in the job market you need to have hands-on experience and many different certifications. All Careerist provided was lots, and lots. and lots of slides and lots of chat and talking. From day one some of us didn't get mentors and what very fragile material they had. The curriculum stated that we were going to do demonstrations (demo's) and I did my own research on Youtube to see how to do a demo and Careerist only provided me to do a 5 minutes presentation, imagine 6 weeks program for $3300 for a 5 min demo and I had to do my own research and they only drop things in the slack channel that I had already Youtube. Imagine my disappointment. The resume building was a complete disaster and the resume template which was provided cannot get anyone a job and to top it off I have to figure most of it out and came to find out in the real world this resume cannot get anyone a job as it was poorly written, with a person who should be a mentor that can not write english very well and all mentor are from different parts of the whole and do understand how American resume should look like. As for the curriculum was not written very well also. The Class decorman was horrible, 20 people asking the same questions for 4 straight weeks in a row, why became a Careerist cannot explain or give the hands-on experience to be a Sales Engineer. I did not get hands-on experience, no training and proper training, do demos, no homework, no assignments, no integrations, not a good resume, bad interview prep, most people complaining they didn't get a mentor for almost 6 weeks. Came to find out only certain people got privilege
I enrolled in the Manual QA program and I can say it's one of the best decisions I've made in while. From the first day, they've all about aiding and helping the students especially when they see you're determined. My instructors and professors were extremely nice and informative.
Great courses to sharpen your skills and enter the IT industry, I finished my manual QA Course with real internship and 1:1 mentors to help you find your best job fit, I have few interviews lined up both remote and hybrid positions.Best self investment this year! Im exited for whats coming up!
Careerist is a very good training program that has well planned lessons, good mentors and internship opportunities. Their support team is very quick in helping us resolve any issues that we face. Interview preparation, Resume writing, LinkedIn profile, and job search are all very excellent.I enjoyed taking this training program.
My life was changed after taking these classes
My life was changed after taking these classes. I had taken Automation classes before at three different places and at the end I did not even qualify for any automation job. After taking class at Careerist, I just realized how much I truly wasted my time and money at other places. The course was clear, complete and well presented. ALWAYS there was some one to help me one on one with my questions and blockers. I really enjoyed taking this course and finally I got my dream job. I couldnt do it without their help.
Careerist is a great training camp. If you want to learn IT, don't look for other bootcamps, just apply at the Careerist. After one lesson you will feel the growth of your knowledge!
This place is an actual scam! please do your research on reddit and on *** before joining.I had joined with so much hope but really its 2/10 students who actually end up getting a job from this. There are far better programs out there, don't waste your money. It's just ruthless for them to provide such false hope and leave you in the dark. Many of the comments that provide a good rating or have good things said about the program are all fake. I had actually contacted a few graduates from Careerist and all of them said that it was such a waste of money. Please be careful and think hard before throwing your money away.
Where do I begin? Careerist is overhyped. One instructor resigned and started his own thing to help people break into tech. There are so many issues that they need to fix. People aren't recommending them to others anymore. I don't know if they'll give everyone a refund, but it would be appreciated. There are much better tech bootcamps out there. Many people feel like Careerist is dumping all of this information on students without following up to see if anyone is lost. There wasn't enough focus on demos and mock interviews. People are applying to hundreds of tech jobs, and less than 1% of them are getting hired. Careerist doesn't provide information on the success rates of their students who received job offers. They allow anyone who has the money to sign up, but that's a problem because it doesn't feel special. Hundreds of people pay thousands of dollars every six weeks to get in, just to feel like their voices aren't heard. People have complained about instructors and mentors. They need to hire better-qualified mentors. They need to hire more instructors. They need to incorporate homework assignments and quizzes. They need to create learning materials to go with the lessons. I know Careerist has a money-back guarantee if you still haven't received a job 1 year after completing the bootcamp, but many people still don't feel well-prepared once it's over. All they tell us to do is apply for no less than 90+ jobs per week. That's unrealistic. I have applied for over 100 jobs in one month, and I haven't been contacted for an interview yet. Some people paid as much as $4,200 just to not be satisfied with the way Careerist has been handling things. Careerist students have been warning others on here and social media not to waste their time and money and go somewhere else instead.
