CarePatrol CarePatrol: a great choice

Care Patrol specifically Ron Braun was referred by a social worker at Amedisys. Both parents needed assisted living which I had been unsuccessful getting them to move from their home. The search for a place took 1.5 years. They signed contracts with a provider but refused to go. Ron visited with them then with me to provide the best options for them. He took them to visit his first choice option. It was a hit with them. He understood what they would need now and in the future. They agreed on the facility. Shortly after one of them fell and was hospitalized for three days. Ron visited and provided info to the assisted living company. He provided a nursing care company reference to assist until they could move into the facility.

An internet search will provide a lot of options for help in finding assisted living. I consulted many of them without discovering Care Patrol.

Care Patrol was the only company with a hands on approach and accurate evaluation of need to provide optimum recommendations.

If you have similar needs in the metropolitan KC area contact Care Patrol and Ron Braun.

If their other location staffs are available to you contact them. Perhaps they have people who meet the standards that Ron has.

CarePatrol Outstanding Care Patrol of North Kansas City: A Caring and Thoughtful Service for Finding Care Facilities

I went to three care facilities in the Northland and it was a real eye-opener. Max was the man who helped me out and he knew my client real well. He did his homework and found out what I wanted for my friend. Max was a real caring and thoughtful person who went out of his way to help me find a facility for my friend. He even asked questions that I hadn't thought of. I gotta say, Care Patrol of North Kansas City was outstanding! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help finding a care facility.

CarePatrol Navigating Elder Care: A Review of Kloepfel and CarePatrol's Invaluable Support

Kloepfel and CarePatrol for helping us navigate through this difficult time.

Jena Kloepfel from CarePatrol has been a lifesaver for our family. We were at a loss on how to provide the best care for our aging parents in their final years. Thankfully, Jena stepped in and provided us with invaluable guidance and support.

One of the first things Jena did was help us figure out what our parents could afford. This was a huge relief, as we had no idea where to start. Jena took the time to explain all of our options and helped us choose the best facility for our parents' needs.

Both of our parents are now living in the same facility, but with different levels of care. Knowing that they are in a safe and comfortable environment gives us peace of mind. We can't thank Jena enough for all of her hard work and dedication.

Jena's follow-up has been exceptional. She has checked in with us regularly to make sure that everything is going smoothly. Her genuine concern for our family is evident in everything she does. We feel truly blessed to have her on our side.

Thank you, Jena Kloepfel and CarePatrol, for making this difficult time a little bit easier. We would highly recommend Jena and CarePatrol to anyone in need of assistance with elder care.

CarePatrol Disappointing Experience with CarePatrol: Lack of Concern for Resident's Well-being

I recently used CarePatrol to find a residence for my Mom. At first, I was happy with their recommendation, but after just three weeks, my Mom was covered in bruises. I was really concerned and spoke to both the residence owner and the CarePatrol representative. They assured me that this was not normal and that they would investigate.

However, over the next few days, the abuse continued and actually got worse. I was really upset and felt like CarePatrol didn't care about my Mom's well-being at all. All they seemed to care about was their commission. I was really disappointed and would never recommend them to anyone.

It's really important to find a company that cares about the type of treatment and care your loved one will receive. Unfortunately, CarePatrol doesn't seem to be that kind of company. They only care about making money off of you or your loved one. It's really sad and frustrating, and I wish I had known this before I used their services.

CarePatrol Disappointing Experience with Care Patrol: Lack of Screening and Transparency

I was recommended to check out Care Patrol by my mother's rehab and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the experience. My sister and I went on multiple tours of communities that we thought would be a good fit for our mother, but unfortunately, none of them were able to accept her due to her behavior. It was a complete waste of our time and energy. We toured four different communities and fell in love with each one, only to be told that they couldn't take her in. It was a horrible experience.

I think Care Patrol needs to do a better job of screening the communities they recommend to their clients. They should make sure that the communities are actually able to handle the residents they are accepting. It's not fair to get someone's hopes up and then disappoint them in the end. It's important to be honest and upfront about what a community can and cannot handle.

One thing that really bothered me was that their commission is based on which community you move into. The higher the price, the more they get paid. This seems like a conflict of interest to me. It's important to keep the best interests of the client in mind, not just the commission.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Care Patrol. I hope they can improve their screening process and be more transparent about their commission structure in the future.

CarePatrol Care Patrol: A Lifesaver for Finding the Perfect Home for Your Loved One

I gotta say, Care Patrol is the real deal. If you got a family member who needs a new crib to call home, you gotta hit up Care Patrol. Deana Barone was a total lifesaver. Me and my bro don't live in the same city as our pops, and he didn't wanna leave his hometown or his favorite baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds. But Deana from Care Patrol did all the heavy lifting for us before we even got to town. She was super thorough and found us a ton of options to choose from. She even set up appointments for us! I'd recommend Care Patrol to anyone who needs help finding the perfect spot for their loved one. Trust me, they'll take care of you.

CarePatrol CarePatrol: A Solid Choice for Senior Living Options

Yo, so I was checkin' out CarePatrol (carepatrol.com) and I gotta say, they seem legit. I did some research and found out that the FTC put an order on them in 2012, but it's all good cuz they fully participated and didn't get no fines or nothin'. You can peep the order yourself if you don't believe me, it's on the FTC website.

But for real, CarePatrol is all about helpin' people find the right senior living options. They got a bunch of different services, like helpin' you find assisted livin', memory care, and independent livin'. They even got a free service where they'll come to your house and do an assessment to figure out what kind of care you need.

I know it can be tough tryna find the right place for your loved ones, but CarePatrol makes it easy. They got a bunch of different locations all over the country, so you can find one near you. And they work with a bunch of different communities, so they can help you find the perfect fit.

Overall, I'd say CarePatrol is a solid choice if you're lookin' for help with senior living options. They got the experience and the know-how to make sure you find the right place for you or your loved ones.

CarePatrol Terrible Experience with CarePatrol: Elder Abuse and Neglect in Toledo, OH

I had a really bad experience with CarePatrol, which was recommended to me by a home health agency in Toledo, OH. My father was placed in a facility that was really terrible, and it was just like all the bad stereotypes that you hear about such places. He had multiple falls and the facility didn't seem to care about HIPAA regulations at all. I reached out to a CarePatrol advisor for help, but she just stopped responding to me. I even wrote a really long letter of complaint to the franchise headquarters, but it came back as UNDELIVERABLE. I tried emailing the franchise website, but it just sent me to a webpage. I filled out a form asking for contact information for headquarters, but I never heard anything back (even though the system said it got my message). It seems like this company doesn't care about elder abuse at all, and they're just trying to make money off of it. It's really despicable!

CarePatrol Impressive CarePatrol: A Review of Their Senior Living Services

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with CarePatrol. I was looking for a place for my grandma to live, and I stumbled upon their website. It was easy to navigate and had a lot of helpful information.

I decided to give them a call and the person who answered was super friendly and patient with me. They asked me a bunch of questions about my grandma's needs and preferences, and then they gave me a list of places that might be a good fit.

I was a little skeptical at first, but I decided to check out one of the places they recommended. And let me tell you, it was perfect! My grandma loves it there and I feel so much better knowing she's in a safe and comfortable environment.

Now, I did hear some rumors about the owner being on probation or something like that. But honestly, I don't really care. As long as they're doing a good job helping people find the right place to live, that's all that matters to me.

Overall, I would definitely recommend CarePatrol to anyone who's looking for a senior living community. They really know their stuff and they genuinely care about their clients.

CarePatrol Disappointing Experience with CarePatrol: Only Showed Paid Options and Lied About Experience

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out CarePatrol. I mean, who wouldn't want some help finding the perfect assisted living home for their loved one, right? But let me tell you, I was sorely disappointed. These guys only take you to places they get paid from! I mean, come on, where's the honesty in that? And don't even get me started on the lies they told me. They said the places they took me to had experience with what my mom needed help with, but that was a load of baloney. I should have known better than to trust them.

Honestly, if you're looking for an assisted living home for your loved one, it's better to just call and visit places yourself. Don't waste your time with CarePatrol. They're just in it for the money, and they don't care about finding the right fit for your family.

CarePatrol Disappointing Service and Breach of Privacy: My Experience with Care Patrol

I was really disappointed with the service I received from Care Patrol. I had been working with Sarah, but unfortunately, she didn't respect my privacy. She shared my medical information with a business that had no right to it. This business was actually my realtor, who was selling my condo. They had no relation to me, nor did they have any written agreement to represent me as a healthcare representative or fiduciary.

I was really upset about this breach of privacy. It's important to me that my medical information is kept confidential, and I trusted Care Patrol to handle it with care. Unfortunately, that trust was broken.

Aside from this issue, I also found that the service provided by Care Patrol was lacking. I didn't feel like they really listened to my needs or concerns. They seemed more interested in pushing me towards certain facilities, rather than finding the best fit for me.

Overall, I would not recommend Care Patrol to anyone. The breach of privacy was a major issue for me, and I didn't feel like the service provided was up to par. There are other companies out there that can help with senior care placement, and I would suggest looking elsewhere.

CarePatrol Mixed Experience with CarePatrol: Good Nursing Home, But Strange Billing Incident

I recently used CarePatrol to help me find a nursing home. The home they found for me was really good. However, I had a strange experience yesterday. A man named Kevin called me and said he was coming to take pictures of me and other people at the nursing home. This scared me, so I told the owners. They said they never received a bill from CarePatrol, but Kevin said he was from billing. They apologized and said that it shouldn't have been up to the nursing home.

Overall, I had a good experience with CarePatrol. They helped me find a good nursing home and were very helpful throughout the process. However, the incident with Kevin was a bit concerning. I hope they can improve their communication with their clients and make sure that their billing process is clear and transparent.

CarePatrol advocate involving herself when she was told her service was not needed

My mother was a patient at Alter Care in Brimfield, OH and on 9/21/16 Sandy Cooper from CarePatrol arranged a conference call with our family, I emailed her back and told her CarePatrol services are not needed.
I do not know how she was invited to get involved as AlterCare will not provide any records from Social Services. However, Sandy proceeded with her conference call on 9/21/16 and during that call she threatened to revoke my P.O.A. and file for guardianship of my mother since I did not agree with her locating a facility for my mother. I explained that my mother had already made her decision as to where she would like to reside and my mother had an Assisted Living Room available to move into when she was discharged. When I told Sandy the name of the place, she stated that it was not on her list of homes she contracts with and proceeded to degrade that facility. She then proceeded to tell the other family members to go pick out 3 places. My mother is of sound mind and can make her own decisions. However because of Sandy's involvement the room available for my mother could not be held at the facility of her choice while Sandy had other family members looking for an Assisted Living Facility of her choice. At that time I cancelled the room at the Assisted Living Facility my mother had chosen since CarePatrol painted such a beautiful picture of better options. September 28, 2016 was the last email received from Sandy, no Assisted Living Facility found and no more follow ups after one week after conference call.
CarePatrol caused my mother to remain at Alter Care 4 weeks as self pay because she had been discharged as a rehab patient on 10/7/2016. As I waited for the other family members to go seek an Assisted Living Facility that Sandy was contracted with. After no results, I had to make a decision to find another place for my mother. Financially the daily rate as self pay is almost $10, 000.00! I had to locate a different Facility and my mother was moved to an Assisted Living facility on 11/4/16 not located by another family member or CarePatrol. I hope this is not a continued pattern of how CarePatrol treats the elderly and their families. This has been an inconvenience to my Mother and myself to resubmit paperwork and time I had to take off work. I request Sandy Cooper at Care Patrol compensate for the financial expenses incurred due to her involvement.

Hi Todd,

The social worker at Altercare where your mom is staying spoke to me about your mom. She feels that I may be able to help out. I am a certified senior advisor. There is no charge for my services.

I left a voice message on Wednesday but did not hear back. I am hoping to talk with you and your family about your mom.

Would you be available for a short call this Tuesday, 9/20 around 10am? I am hoping to have all of your family members on a call while I visit with your mom. If this time will not work, could you please send me a few times that can work?

Thank you,

Thank you everyone for participating on the call today. Your mom really appreciated everyone coming together for her.

Suggested points that should be considered when choosing a place besides location and costs are;

· Staff/resident Ratio

· Nursing available- 24hrs?

· Care Level capabilities – i.e. when would mom have to leave

· Entrance or Community Fees

Todd-I’m guessing you already have the information or family packet from Copeland Oaks. I thought I would share with the rest of the family information that I have too. [This information was obtained from Copeland Oaks, as well as the Ohio.gov website which is the governing body for the state inspections.]

Copeland Oaks, as I mentioned, is a very nice community. They provide very good care as indicated on the attached document provided by the ohio.gov website. They are unique in that, for private pay entry, the family needs to provide documentation for acceptance. This documentation includes; income, loans, debts, personal expenses. They base that information on the prospective residents life expectancy. They have an actuarial formula to do this. For example, 85 yr old, calculates to have a life expectancy of 7 yrs. If that person’s income/expenses would be short the monthly costs needed to pay at Copeland/month, they times that amount by their projected life expectancy. [-300/mo x 12 months x 7 yrs = $25, 200.] In this example, the prospective resident would need to show assets of $25, 200 for acceptance.

Most assisted living communities do not require this for entry. It is based on what care level your mom needs at the time of acceptance. Copeland Oaks does offer Medicaid AL waiver rooms, as do other AL communities. Copeland currently has a wait list for Medicaid as do most communities.

For Copeland Oaks AL;

· Staff/resident Ratio = 1 aid/10 residents

· Nursing available- 24hrs

· Care Level capabilities – i.e. when would mom have to leave – would be transferred to Crandall if care needs rise

· Entrance or Community Fees - $1100 deposit that is put towards 1st months rent

If you would like me to provide additional information on any other communities you feel would be a good fit for your mom, please let me know.

I normally recommend to families to look at a large, mid-size, and smaller community to get the feel of what works best for their loved one. Also, this is advisable to compare costs and identify the best geographic locations.

I am happy to pick up your mom, and any family members that would like to accompany, to tour any facilities of your choosing. I am bonded and insured to do this.

I am happy to help and serve as your mom’s advocate.

My contact information is below.

Kind regards,

Carrie here, thank you so much for the help and guidance provided to our family at this time. I would be interested in looking into the smaller care facilities in a centrally located area. I'll check a map tonight and get back to Sandy about what area more specifically. If anyone has any objections to that I'm happy to look into mid or large sized areas. Please let me know by tomorrow night if you would prefer to look into the smaller facilities yourself. Again, I appreciate your experience, input and assistance.

Best regards,

Carrie Parker

They and Sunrises are the only companies that do this. They provide 24hr nursing.

CarePatrol The company was interested in money and didn't want to help with nursing homes

At the beginning, we searched for the information about assisted living on the website www.carepatrol.com. The rep from the customer services advised us to find out more about the nursing homes. The rep told us about the nursing home, because it cost us more and this company would get higher sum for the services as well. But basically, they knew nothing about the nursery and he told us to check all websites about the nursing homes. It wasn’t professional at all.

CarePatrol Useless people

I searched for nursing house for my mother. My friend advised me to visit the website www.carepatrol.com. I called them and asked for help, and they promised to find a good place and called me back. But after several weeks, no one called me. I called them again, and they told me to wait. I spoke with really rude and impolite woman, and she started to yell at me and hung up. I won’t recommend you to deal with such horrible and useless people. Please post your comments and views about it.
