Weathertech car mats
Received a pair of Weather tech front floor mats for my Lincoln MKC.
A Christmas gift from my Granddaughter.
Didn't really like the material and the fit was just ok.
Told I could return them.
The mats were $176 and the return was $109.
Hardly seems fair when you can return items to Amazon with hardly any charge, if any.
Will not recommend or purchase anything in the future.
Desired outcome: A better refund satisfaction guarantee.Would like a better refund.
Shipment of parts
I ordered several parts from CARiD. They told me when I ordered that it would be a few days. Some parts did arrive in a few days. unfortunately, the tracking numbers were not accurate and some of the parts had not shipped. The Rear bumper was corrected and shipped a week later. But I could never get an accurate tracking number on my Front Bumper, and it had not been received over a month later. I call Customer service to get status. They have a standard response of getting back to me in 2-3 days. this has been going on for weeks now. They still don't have a tracking number for me. My order number is [protected] with CARiD. I can't seem to get anyone in customer service who can help me. I've talked to several representatives. no-one seems to understand the company or its parts. Meanwhile I am renting a car while I wait for a front bumper from CARiD. This is getting expensive having to wait for shipping on this item.
Desired outcome: A correct tracking number so I know the paperwork has been filled out and that shipping is actually in progress. I also think I should be reimbursed shipping costs and for rental car costs because of the delays.
Vendor Complaint
We are a vendor with CariD and we've made many seats for their customers. About 3 months ago, they stopped paying us for services rendered. What's going on over there? You can't get anyone on the phone other than the sales people who don't know anything. One sales person gave me a phone number for Accounts Receivable but the line rings once and then goes dead. Not a working number.

Shipping and Lost Package
I ordered snow tires for my car in late October, and received a shipment date of 10/31. It is currently 12/11, and I still have not received my tires. The shipment company says that while the labels have been created, they have never received the package. I tried contacting CarID directly for help, but they would not give me a refund for the lost item, and kept referring me to different departments with no solutions.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate either a full refund for the overdue package, or for the issue to actually be resolved.
Bed liner
I ordered a bed liner for my truck. It was to be shipped Dec 1st. I called to cancel the order five days before shipping. This morning I get an email that they shipped the order. After I argued on the phone because they started complaining about having to do the cancellation! Now I’m calling my credit card company and making a YouTube video about this company

I ordered the GT(500) Side Skirts from Car ID. Address was incorrect due to the fault of Car ID this has happened b4 with a pair of struts apparently it was sent than needed to be rerouted which I was charged an additional 93 dollars for than told weeks later that the item was under investigation and the I could loose the package as well as the money all spent on it and the rerouting fee! No one seemed to want to call and or get up and find that the item was sent back to the sender.
Desired outcome: I just want the item I've had a decent relationship with Car ID but since recently when they changed their customer service dept. it has been issues with mis direct package sending! I just want my package!!! Please Help!!!!
Tire and wheel package. Rear cargo protector
First I purchased a rear cargo protector for my 2022 Jeep Cherokee. Their website specifically says fitment guarantee. It arrived, I tried putting it in my Jeep, and it did not fit. I called customer service, they said I could return it but they were going to charge me $13 to ship it back. So basically they make a mistake on a product they guarantee is going to fit, and when it doesn't I get penalized $13 to ship it back to them.
The next item I purchased were a set of wheels and tires for the same vehicle. The order added up to a little over $2,500. Again all over their website guaranteed fitment. I did not just arbitrarily order them online. I called and talked to a sales representative. I was very specific about what I was looking for and he put me on hold to talk to his manager to make sure that these would fit my car. He came back after a 5 to 10 minute hold and said yes these will work they sold them to other people with my vehicle. They showed up about a week and a half later. I took them to a shop to have them professionally put on my vehicle, and the front wheels didn't turn on my rotors. So how am I supposed to know if they fit, unless I put them on my car? They flat out told me they were unreturnable because I mounted them. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of my life.
I would like to make a suggestion to everybody here that has had horrible luck with them. As we should join together as a group, hire an attorney, and make this a class action lawsuit. If they don't take care of us, let's put them out of business. Also, Go on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc, and warn everybody about this company. Do it everyday for as long as you can stand doing it and collectively we will cost them tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales. This is how you treat the devil.
Desired outcome: I want my products picked up at their expense, and my money returned. Which is what I told them from day one.
Air Shocks
I ordered air shocks and the air compressor for a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado. The shocks arrived with red scratch marks all over and the supplied air lines had fittings that don't fit with the air compressor carid sold. I can't return it, because I'm beyond the 30 day return policy. Poor customer service. It's ironic that carid states they take bad reviews seriously and treat it like an emergency. And how it's important to make it right with the customer. Carid's only reply, is 30 day return. Poor service over an arbitrary number.
Fiberglass hood
Purchased a hood upon delivery inspected and found that it was of very poor quality and had been damaged during ship. Returned hood only to be told that I would receive no refund. I needed to file a claim with the shipping company. The only one that can file a claim is the person who paid for shipping. Even though I paid for shipping I was just reimbursing Carid they paid for the shipping so they will get the return. I am out a lot of money.
Starter for 2006 Ford Mustang
Purchased a new starter and paid $292.41 for it. It worked for four days then failed. Did a RMA but was told that a "replacement starter was not available". Suddenly, I got an email that a "new" starter had been shipped to me. Installed the "new" starter and it worked once before failing.
I called their "customer service number" and spoke with "Nate". Nate started to explain everything to me that I would have to do to return the part. I explained to Nate that instead I would file a complaint with the US Postal Service for wire fraud. Last guy I did this to got eight years in Federal Prison.
It is obvious that CARID.Com is selling used\rebuilt parts or "rebranded" parts from some off shore operation maybe in China or Vietnam. If you ever wonder what happened to your recycled beer cans? Sears tried this back in the 1980's and got caught. "There are no new schemes. Just old ones people have forgotten about".

Seat covers for 2013 Rav4
Went on your site and found seat covers for my 2013 Rav4. Not cheapest, but not the most expensive. Total price was $152.00. This was on 8-24-22. You took money right away. Your add said 4-6 days shipping. Thats why i went with you.Order #[protected].
Now it is the 9/20/22. I was told possible ship date 9/26/22. I cancelled order. Now im told it will be another 10 days or more before i get my money returned to me.
I am in a service oriented business. If i did this to my customers, i wouldnt be working today. I am upset that i had to keep calling and getting the same answer. 24-48 hours and i should recieve an answer. It never came.
You even offered a $15.00 gift certificate for the delay. I couldnt use it against the cost of the seat covers, and i will not buy anything from carid again.
If there is going to be a long delay, you should inform your customers better.
Im sorry I had to write this, but i felt it was needed.

I tried to cancel this order, CARiD said, to late. Issues a RMA, I get package on 8/17-IMMEDIATELY affix RMA labels, return same day. Tracking by UPS confirmed delivery to warehouse of origin on 8/18. CARiD has yet to refund my card, I call and get one excuse after another. I have had similar experiences in the past. This will be MY LAST time doing any business with the company. It is ran like there are kindergarteners at the helm.

Body kit Duraflex
Bought a body kit for a Mustang, and it had a lot of fitment issue. They expected the car to sit at a body shop for weeks at my expense for storage there. We sent in pics they ask for then it took them over a week to send them to Duraflex. So we decided to keep the old bumpers and paint them. Then over a week later the turn around and ask for more pics. Which we can’t do know that the car is back together. So they say there is nothing they can do.

Do not honor price matching
I asked if they matched total price including shipping and was told they do. After ordering the item and requesting a price match I'm then told they do not match total including shipping, only item price. Even after showing them what their company emailed me they refuse to match. Their price match policy mentions nothing about shipping, and their shipping charges happen to be higher than everyone else.
Still waiting for shipping label
I have been waiting a week so 5 business days to get my return label to send the item back to receive my 1k refund. I am not happy and will never order from this company again! Will not recommend to anyone!

This is getting to the point of insanity and I’m very fed up with carid amd I'm getting very angry at the lack of response and professionalsism of caid. I paid you guys $1,600 June 2021 for a carbon fiber Zl1 wing by Anderson composites. You guys always waiting till the day you said I would receive it to inform me that it’s been put on back order again . After 5-6 back orders you guys then told me the expected ship date cannot be deters this time .Then I ask for a refund and it’s been 180 days so you can’t refund my card but that’s not my fault that’s yours so I don’t see why you can’t make an exception to that’s policy considering it was your fault and you have been holding my $1,600 hostage for a year now . That is not acceptable and I will file a claim against you , report you to The better business bureaua . You claim to have mailed my refund check on April 14th , was told by one of you that it would take 3-5 business days ,another told me 7-10, I even called and they told me last Friday at the latest .Everytime I reach out you guys tell me 24-48 hours you’ll contact me but never do . I’m very fed up and I will get legal if I don’t get my money back in a day or two . No excuse for this

Brake disk and pad kit
I ordered a rear brake kit for my Nissan Leaf. Parts received looked correct.
To be clear, Price and delivery was fine. Form, fit and function was not.
Rotors fit fine, Brake pad its self was correct what was wrong is the shims would not fit over the rotor.
I checked the web and found that the brake pad kit was not correct for that card.
I contacted CARiD and they found that the manufacture supplied kit was not correct for the car. All good.
The failure was that it took over two weeks for CARiD provided any response to replacing the parts. I could not leave the car without brakes for this long. I was forced to re-use the old shims.
Failure here was very poor customer support and not understanding the need for immediate replacement.
Desired outcome: Water over the dam. I can not return any of the parts. It would have been nice to see a concession on CARiDs part.
One out of 4 tires is defective.
I was sent a defective tire, and after sending a document indicating that the tire itself is damaged, the company is refusing to provide a refund or exchange and instead trying to make me pay for another tire.
Horrible manager Erika is not responsive, Often taking her months to reply to you, at which point the warranty void

wheel purchase
I purchased 4 wheels for our 2019 chevy 3500 dual rear wheel truck we received all 4 wheels all product numbers were correct the tire shop removed the wheels nothing looked out of line so they mounted the tires when installing the wheels 3 fit and 1 had a smaller hub hole on the rear wheel by 1/2 inch nothing anyone would have noticed before mounting the tires when i contacted Carid they stated they would not warranty the wheel because it had a tire mounted that has to be 100%BS because the wheel is defective will not fit anything we took picture and showed the size difference to no avail.
