Dear Sir,
I have bought Mobile from Carrefour Ajman, with extended warrantee for one more year on 29-10-2018. But unfortunately, the mobile has net work problem in June 2018, and I have given to Customer Service Ajman City Centre on 30-06-2018. They have returned the phone to me on 10-07-18, I have checked with the sales representative to check the mobile, as he has checked and told me that the pc has returned as it is and it was not repaired. I have returned immediately to customer care to send it back for repair, they have sent again for service.
On 14th August I have received a call from Ajman CC Carrefour to collect the mobile, they have given me other model of mobile which was white color (mine was dark grey) and full of scratch on body (used mobile) which I told I do not want this and returned immediately. The person sitting in Customer care was Mr. Atiq, he told me he will refund the money. I have visited him on 19th August with original bill, he told me his manager is on vacation, come immediately after Eid, I have agreed for that and again visited on 23rd August Thursday, he told me she will back on 28th August, accordingly I visited on day again same answer and told me to come on 9th September 2018, he has agreed to give me call once Ms. Rica (his manager) joins the duty. But he told me about refund I have proof for that if required I can show you.
Ms. Rica (Customer care Carrefour) called me on 14-09-18 Friday morning and asked me to come. I went there that time she was given me rude answer that, your mobile has come you can take this, we cannot refund money. I told her this is nearly 90 days, but in your invoice clearly written that after 30 days refund will be given. She was very rude and adamant in her word. I told her that your colleague had agreed for refund and accordingly I have bought new mobile, but she was giving me the same answer. I though better not to argue, taken the receipt back and not collected the mobile.
In Service Request clearly written that -‘During the warrantee period, if the product is immobilized more than 30 Days, Carrefour will establish a voucher corresponding to the price paid by the customer the day of purchase.
Date of purchase of this set was 29-10-2017 (Less than 1 year) and also I have taken the extended warrantee for that. I have trust with Carrefour, any product buying from Carrefour I am always taking extended warrantee . You check with my customer details with Carrefour, and also I am the regular purchaser of Carrefour Ajman, Sharjah, Mirdiff and Madina Mall.
This time I am really very upset about this incident, also note that I have already complained about this incident when they were making me to wait and not giving proper answer in August month. This is my first claim and I am so upset that the customer care is treating customer in very bad manner. Its like I am begging for my own money. The time taken for repair was nearly 90 Days.
Then I have called Customer care toll free number of U.A.E. Ms. Fathima from Carrefore customer care U.A.E. spoken to me and explained me about the procedures of Carrefour about warrantee claim. First of all thanks for her giving correct explanation and patience, which I have not seen in Customer care Ajman.
Regarding my claim I have explained her about the incident, she was telling Carrefour will solve the issues with in 30 days. I too agree with this, but in my case I have given phone first time on 30-06-18 and they have returned me without repair on 10-07-18, I have checked same time with mobile counter technician and returned same day with in 1 hour returned to customer care, they have taken and 2nd time they have returned me on 14-08-18 with White colour mobile (mine was Dark Grey) with full of scratches on body. You can check they have taken here more than 30 days (35 days), and still not able to repair my mobile.
As a policy if it is not repairable with in 30 days Carrefour guarantees for the refund. The same thing was told to Ms. Fathima, she told she will forward the enquiry internally, but she cannot disclose to me about the internal enquiry. I am okay with that, but I have not received any feedback about this as more than one week is passed.
Again I have received call from Ajman City Centre Carrefour that they have repaired my old mobile and asked me to collect from there. Accordingly I have collected on 26-10-2018, but color was same, the condition was used and model is other model. I really upset with this type of attitude of customer service of Ajman City Centre. Today again I have visited Customer care of Ajman CC and shown the details of phone to Customer care rep. of Atiq, he was not responding, then I have asked him to call manager or any responsible person, i need to talk to them. He has called some person with blue shirt, he told me that he is the manager, (Really not looks like manager) I have explained him the situation from the beginning, He acted like hearing everything and he told me once you accepted the phone, Khallas, nothing, we cannot do anything. I have told him still phone is under warrantee, but he was telling me again and again no sorry we cannot do anything. I have asked his name he told me Mr. Ahmed, you can check whether he is manager or no. Manager should be cool and calm with customer as all retail chain will treat customer is a king. Person was tall and with curly hair.
Really I fed up with the situation, I think I am wasting my time, Carrefour staffs are playing with me, neither I want the replacement nor I need cash back. But make sure that it is spoiling the reputation of your store, as now a days everybody is giving tough competition.
Customer service of EMAX, Lulu and Nesto are far far better than you. Even online Souq.com is giving better service than you. As I have bought new Samsung phone from Souq, where as the screen was damaged due to my mishandling, they have replaced the screen with 7 days with the additional cost of AED.100/- I was very happy with their service. But the service which I have received from Carrefour was unforgettable, waste of time and I never buy valuable/ warrantee items from Carrefour.
You can check, prior to this incident I used to buy most of the items for my own use and company use buy only from Carrefour, but after this incident, I have totally changed the purchase of items from Carrefour to Emax, Sharaf DG, Lulu and Nesto. You check in your system by using my mobile and myclub card. I am totally disappointed with your service.
Now I am not asking anything about my mobile, but please transfer this email to some responsible person who can improve the service. The things happened to me should not happened to any others. I had a very good opinion about Carrefour and also I was thinking that Carrefour is an international chain, will provide better service and we can trust, but now everything were not up to the level, this is due to the quality and lack of training to staffs.
I used to buy on an average of AED.3000/- per month and I is to visit weekly 3 to 4 times to Carrefour Ajman, but now hardly once in a week.

I would like to complain about the absolute poor treatment of your staff in your Qatar branches. Specifically the yellow jumpsuits that you force the poor workers to wear. They are absolutely appalling! How can you think that making them wear uniforms, only similar to a prison outfit, is acceptable? I've never witnessed such extreme degradation in any supermarket across the world. These workers are human beings & you are treating them in the most disgusting manor, it's quite unbelievable.
Maybe you should provide your staff with T Shirts or respectable uniforms instead. I know plenty of people that refuse to shop in your stores because of this reason. It's time to make some changes- human beings are all equal.

On Tuesday October 16th I was with my wife buying grocery from Carrefour Sun City at Heliopolis, Cairo. We chose a couple of sticker books for our grand son for EGP 90. When we arrived home and had a good look at the books we found them worn out, and we decided to return them next day.
Next day (Wednesday) we went to customer service to return the books, but they told us that they have rules not to return books. We told them that it is not acceptable to sell us products that is not proper, so they sent for the deputy manager Mr. Wael.
Mr. Wael said that this is careffour policy and that he will be held accountable if he breaks it. He went on to say that we should have carefully examined the books before buying them.
We tried to convince him that it was our trust in careffour that made us just pick the books and go, but for no avail.
We just left both books and left.

I have been to Carrefour City, Rue du Grenier à Sel, 45000, Orléans on Saturday night around 8:15pm. I have picked the things and came to the payment counter, my payment was processed. I verified the payment with the things I have purchased but on verification I found that one thing is charged around €11.95 whereas the price was €3.95. When I demanded the cashier to look at this, instead he started dealing other customer. I can't speak French very well and the cashier know it as well. He started speaking in French and started laughing and the person behind me also laughing.
Now I ask Carrefour management to look in to the matter and I demand a apology from the cashier. You can't laugh at anyone like this.

I've to go to shopping in carrefour 3 days ago (friday, Oct 5th), and pay my bill which the total is Rp118.590 with 1 voucher amount 50k and the Rp68.590 will be pay with my Debit Card but what i want to complain is the Bad Cashier in there type the number not that i need to pay the bill (Rp68.590, because i have to use some voucher) but i fully pay the bill (Rp118.590, like i not use any voucher)

trolly bag (travelling bag)
I bought a trolly bag from Sharjah Carrefour on 8th October 2018 for my 1 week trip to Italy which was from 23-30 October.
I checked in from Dubai and when I cleared the bag from my very first stop in Italy, Rome the bag handle was broken. I was a solo traveller and the luggage was less than even 13kg. The person's name who picked me from Rome is Mr . Valerio who carried the broken bag to Christoforo Hotel from the airport (contact number can be provided for verification).
After my return on 30th, on 7th October I went to Sharjah Carrefour, the same place I bought the bag not for a repair but for an exchange as this kind of quality is not acceptable for a good that has costed AED 200. If I purchased a bag from a Dirham shop or from a roadside shop in Rolla I would expect it to be broken from the first go and for it to be repaired. But not for an item purchased from Carrefour after investing a good amount of money expecting qualitu and durability.
The simple explanation of the Customer service and the Managers was, you should come for an exchange within one week. Can you please explain what is the method of checking the quality of a luggage bag before the travel? If the item was a household item I could have used and tested it, but a travelling bag can be only tested on the travel itself! I did not ask for a refund I asked for an exchange, since I do not want to carry this repaired piece which has proved to be of the poorest quality to mess my travel again.
I understand things break and you can get it repaired, but that is only after a considerable amount of use. Not after it is broken even before a proper usage.
This is proof of detorating standards of goods qualituy and senseless customer services in Carefour. The managers are the most alien creatures you will find unwilling to come to any logical, sensible or suportive terms or a solution.
This is unacxeptable extortion of hard earned money. Carrefour purchasing cheap stuff from suppliers and putting them to the account of foolish customers like myself who thought 'Carefour' is a name and they carry quality products.
I have rectified my error and learnt from my mistake. Carefour goods are no better than goods purchased from Rolla or a Discount Dirham center which would actually cost quarter of the price.
Below I have attached the picture of the item and the picture of the unwilling 'Manager'.
I am an individual who is well employed and can afford to purchase a good quality purchase from a different store. I have left my trolly bag at the customer service for them to keep it as a souvenire. I lost AED 200 but its fine, I learnt never to shop at Carefour and to notify people in my circle via social media to be aware of the inferior quality goods sold at Carefour outlets and the unwillingness of support from aftersales and customer services.

Today at 11:40 I was at the Cashier at Carrefour Downtown, Cairo, Egypt awaiting to pay for my goods, it costs 693.55
I gave Mr. Mohamed Mostafa the visa and paid, then there was no one available to help me pack the things I bought as I was holding my little 1 year old child, so I started packing the stuff myself till my husband arrived to help me
I found only small plastic bags and I had many items to pack so I asked Mr.Mohamed Mostafa to get me larger bags but he said he hasn't got any so we nearly packed the 26 items I bought nearly in more than 15 minutes as each item was in a separate bag as it was so small
And as I was about to leave, I found Mohamed the cashier serving the other customer standing after me and giving him larger bags that was under his counter and for some reason he get it for him and when my husband returned to exclaim for this unprofessional attitude we were stunned by the strange reaction from the manager asking us to return the goods we bought if we are to complain and that Mohamed is free to serve the people the way he sees
We left immediately and decided to send your good self a complain and we are quite sure that this is a personal attitude from an unprofessional person but what we are afraid of is that personal attitude can affect your image elsewhere as he is one of your representatives worldwide

I'm a tourist and we have been in Europe for the 2nd time this year and this is the 1zt time i encounter such a service. 1st-i brought my tour members to visit your outlet and we had bought many items. As the all the language is in French we couldn't really understand when come to payment so we had a very hard time doing payment. We had joined 3 separated Q just for purchasing. We were so lost on the payment n we nearly just wanna stop buying n go. Luckily there's 1 last whom is very kind, she told us we have to join another Q which is just for the cash payment.
We join the q on the self service Q. When it's our turn, the lady in charge simply just sit down there watching us don't knw how to do. She didn't even bother to walk up to us. We have to b guided by other customers behind us. When we faced difficulties, she just sit n watch, my friend walk forward to your staff, she just throw in here black face and point we cn only do at the machine and she refuse to half. I had to insert cash n coins to do the payment, however the machine took my coins but it was not recorded. I called for here again and told her yhe incident. She speak in French and say there nothing she can do. I tried to explain to her and ask her if I can speak to anyone whom can understand English n she refuses to find for me. I really felt that I was being cheated by carrefour as as a tourist although the amount is not hugh but its the service we need.
Just because of this incident, we were delayed on our journey and it's already spoil our mood.

1 - in Carrefour Maadi the air condition inside the hyper does't work, in summer is very bad expwrince.
2 - in both fish and meat section when they have an offer, they make like the public markets, they call in microphones.
3 - the quality of the plastic bags if exist, is very bad and very cheap, local supermarkets have better ones.

I Bout Xomi Mobile from Carrefour Ajman on 29-10-2017 with extended warrantee of 1 year extra. I have regular problem with network of mobile accordingly I have returned to same shop on 10-06-18, But it was not repaired till 28-08-18, as per the condition of the warrantee they need to refund if it is not repaired with in 30 days.
Kindly look into this matter, no one is answering in customer service counter of Ajman shop and I also registered the complaint online site of Carrefour U.A.E. Till today I have not get any proper reply. I have attached Original Invoice at the time of purchase and service centre ref receipt of 3rd time returning to service counter for your ref. First time given them for warrantee rep on 30-06-18, returned on 09-06-18 without rep, and returned same time to customer counter (with in 30 minutes), and then again on 14-08-2018, they have given different mobile with scratches (used, not mine) returned immediately.

kitten food
I bought quite a few tins of kitten food from the store in Palma, from the outlet FAN. I always shop at carrefour as it's convenient, usually has great products, however...
I was disgusted to open one of them to find some kind of animal part inside. I have taken photos which I have added.
It actually knocked me sick seeing this. The food is supposed to be pate for kittens, my cat would choke if I'd have given him that. This was absolutely disgusting to see. I will no longer buy this product as I can't risk seeing that again.
bad cashier customer service
We have been staying in Eymet France for 3 months and shop regularly 3-4 times per week minimum during that period. We have found a consistent pattern of behaviour with a number of the check out assistants during the time we have been shopping in this store.
The check out assistants will display the appropriate degree of friendliness and engagement whenever dealing with known locals or others that clearly have French as their first language. The demeanour changes completely however when the staff are dealing with customers who do not have French as their first language, despite the fact that the customer is speaking French to the best of their ability.
Our experience is that in these cases the check out assistant appear to make a point of being completely dismissive in the manner in which they deal with us as paying customers.
Having mentioned this to other people who live In Eymet, shop at Carrefour and do not have French as their first language (predominantly English speakers) they have all experienced this behaviour from the staff in this particular store.
What makes the matter worse is the fact that in almost any other interaction we have with French locals, the experience is extremely positive and rewarding when we make the effort to communicate with our limited French speaking ability.
To summarise, your store is and will continue to lose customer support as a result of this attitude by your staff. The English speaking expat community in the area is large and growing and is a very tight knit community. The reputation of the store is being trashed by this behaviour and this results in loss of income and reputation for the Carrefour brand.
Greetings, I have seen the same trend here in Dubai Carrefour Tecom Area, very unethical behavior by cashier. Carrefour need to teach some behavioral values to their cashiers.

I have a LCD problem with the phone, given to After sales service on 9th May .
Now they are telling me it is repaired and can be picked up.
I have warranty but not for production and manufacturing defects. This is not right as I was informed by the after sales supervisor Hussain on phone that he cant help me more than the repaired phone.
I have not picked up the same as this is quite disturbing for me to pay AED 1399 and now three months later take home a repaired phone.
Hope Carrefour understands and helps me out on the same.
