PN Program
CDI college welcomed me with open arms, warm smiles, and a promise of a bright future. I was so excited to attend this private school that "charges more because the teachers are invested in your future, care more, help with schoolwork, and can deliver better teaching due to small class sizes."
UNFORTUNATELY I FELL FOR THE LIES.
This school is overcrowded, somehow underfunded? We have labs that are falling apart, overcrowded classrooms, clearly run down teachers with poor teaching experience, and stressed out students with no awareness from teachers that they live lives outside of school.
Have to work? too bad. Have kids? should have waited. Didn't sleep? oh, well. Late? you're incompetent.
This school has discouraged so many amazing people that could have gone on to save lives. They have drained us dry of our money, our happiness, and our hope.
Do NOT go here.

Misinformation of financial assistance/course all based on bc law
My name is Courtney Cyrenne and I am a student in the Legal Administrative Assistant program with CDI College. As a mom of 3, I only signed up for this program because my financial rep showed I would be receiving $49,000 in student loans (enough for living for the year). Now that I’m in the program and have contacted student loans, I find out I’m only receiving $29,000 ($16,000) is towards my course. I cannot live on $13,000. Next, I am located in Saskatchewan and my course only covers British Columbia law. My instructor told us if we are in a different province, we will have to research ourselves. If I knew this ahead of time, I NEVER would have signed up for this. I would have researched it on my own FOR FREE. I am absolutely sick to my stomach thinking about having to pay all of this money back for something that is not even going to help me become a successful legal assistant in Saskatchewan.
Desired outcome: I would like to drop this course and not be responsible for the money owing.

Teachers not doing their job, they don't deserve payment
My name is Manilyn Dacuro and I enrolled in CDI Collège back in August 2021 taking the Network and Internet Security Specialist. It was explained to me that classes will be online and other details which I agreed and signed the contract. So I met with my teacher online but it was only on the first day of my class more like to introduce ourselves but didn’t really have online class. He told me I will do a personal reading of the book I picked up from school and he will give me quiz when I finish certain part of the book, we exchange emails how to do it. In the beginning I think it was okay since it’s the introduction of computers and it’s basic and easy. After 1 book he asked me again to pick up a book from school and asked me to read and he will give me quiz when I finish certain chapter of the new book, the second book started to get complicated and I don’t have anyone to help and I never have online classes, I got frustrated so I called the councilor and explain the situation. I was told it was not supposed to be like that. I contacted the asst director and I asked if they could refund the tuition from my student loan since I never had 1 single online class or didn’t have class with the teacher at all. I haven’t get a reply. I really want a refund because I felt that I didn't get the worth of the money. The teacher didn't even teach me 1 hour for 3 months and from that I know that it will not be any better so I quit. This is a scam.

Student loans
I enrolled in the above noted online program in March of 2021.
I completed less than three months of a 9 month course. During that time period, there were constant IT issues, barely any instruction and no teacher at all for two weeks (at one point I was using YouTube and Google to attempt to complete assignments). Numerous attempts at contacting everyone and anyone through voicemails and emails, I have either received no response or a huge runaround all ending with a “sorry, I can’t help you”.
I then was advised that I am responsible for re-payment of my student loan (approximately $17,000-the majority of which went straight to CDI) because I had continued to "log in" which I guess to them means I had completed more than 1/2 the course. (I was "logging in" in an attempt to get some kind of assistance).
So, using this logic, I could’ve left my computer logged in and gone out and this would count as “instructional time”? (I have a detailed timeline of my actions available).
I am shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism and complete disregard for their “students” welfare or continuing education. Considering most of their students are young adults who are clearly trusting and naïve, they should be ashamed of their behaviour as so called “educators”. Clearly this is about charging money for services not rendered – which is tantamount to fraud.
Upon checking reviews on the BBB website, it’s very clear that I am not the only one they are attempting to dupe out of a lot money. By no stretch should I be responsible for paying a loan for services I did not receive - not to mention the time and stress that this fiasco has caused me.

If nothing can be done for me and my experience I would love to join the law suit that is getting put together.
I'm currently enrolled in accounting and payroll administration in Ontario online and my 40 week course has been extended out of my control because the college did not have the program setup for our NPI courses to be available. They only send out emails and phone calls to request payment and attendance warnings, but don't respond for follow up for your concerns. Each course in the program is 2-4 weeks and we have never had access 1st day or few days of each course, given excuses like they are still looking for an instructor, how is that the students problem theses should be setup start of the course or they should be reaching out to the students why must we constantly be reaching out for them to give us access we paid for books so far its all online books outdated.
Instructor tell you to do or focus on parts of the course but then you recieve emails saying you need to do all the tasks that are time marked so they don't communicate with the so called expert instructors and some will even tell you if you have concerns to email someone else, I must have been though so many people in cdi and they still have not changed or gotten better sadly I feel I have already passed the point of no return only having 3 courses left taking 8 weeks but who knows when I can finish I have received nothing from the school. I would like to get partial refund for the trouble, overall bad experience and the delay in my graduation of my studies. Not to mention I received my tax form after April 30th tax dead line.

Lied to, failed many attempts to contact me then won't give me my diploma..
I started CDI college in April of 2021 from the start it was a joke I paid 22 grand to take the addiction support worker... for a price of 2200 books you don't actually get a book in your hand you get the books from the computer... I finished my online training in March then it was time for my practicum for 300 hrs that you yourself have to basically find on your own... please let me tell you most places I contacted will not accept CDI college students. Please do you're research on CDI college and the lawsuits and lack of help and proper education. I finally found a beautiful place of practicum at Emma's house where I worked my butt off for my practicum I got a raving review and was missing some hours due to 2 deaths and covid . Not once did CDI college check on me or ask how I was making out. I asked for my ID 5 times with no response. The amount of
turn over of staff tells you how atrocious that place is I believe I had 4 practicum coordinators while I was there. So I finished my practicum when I was done Emma's house called CDI and they accepted my hours twice. I got a email by the way 3 weeks ago asking if I even started my practicum that's how smart they are? I call and ask when I would receive my diploma the practicum coordinator reassured me I was good. Then on Friday May 26th 2022 I get an email from the practicum coordinator that they won't accept my hours stating I only had 70 hrs? And they told me to go find another institution to finish my hours I already have after saying 3 times they accepted my hours. He couldn't even call me he emailed that too me... stating his boss said no...In the meantime it's been a month since I finished and got a full time job with nothing to do with CDI as no one accepts CDI students they once again never contacted me for a month... I am reaching out for people to be aware of CDI college Calgary south campus... Please do your homework on that school... All I can say is shame on them...please help me.

- not accredited to any meaningful association, only to private colleges’ association, as such my diploma isn’t with much
- training was sorely lacking. I discovered this when I started working with other private college social work service students.
- training is shoddy at best. This is 100% NOT the fault of the instructors. They could only work with what they had.
- my diploma is not worth much, due to the above points
- grant/bursary turned into a loan. I was successful in completing my program. I was told I would not have to pay back anything. Kerri Squires student financing aid. She also said there was supposed to be another application for funding. That never happened
- was not told that the government would not pay the college, I had to with money received; this has turned into a nearly $5000 nightmare
- I started receiving these emails in late fall, that I owed over $5000. Long story short, I got nowhere with anybody.
- I was told repeatedly that I should ignore the emails.
- It took me several days and finding a loophole to get an answer: you’re out of the program, can’t help you now.
I will be seeking legal advice as to how to proceed.
Desired outcome: Drop the remaining funds owing and I will not seek level counsel. I also want those recognized as outstanding workers receive raises and recognition for their dedication and hard work in a toxic environment (lots of turn over)

FRAUD & PURE SCAM ALERT ALERT!
I want to be part of the lawsuit for claiming $6000 for a course I have not taken, all instructors dropping one after another. After 2 years, they just claimed to pay them $6000 for a class I never attended! because they find my email exchange in the database. Scammers scammers!
Tuition fees refund
I applied for tuition fees refund in December 2021 but till now I don't get any any positive response from your side and college is not replying of emails and they just said refund in process. They are giving me this response from January 2022 but till now they not release it .

I was studying in Cdi college in 2019-20 paid 26000 dollar I was about to complete it but in last semester I went back India and I told college I want refund ,months later I got email from Cdi college my cheque is ready you can pick it . For some reason I was out of country. Now I am back and nobody replies my email or call . Refund
I had applied for my visa in December and got rejected for my course starting in January so mailed the college regarding the visa rejection and fees refund as I want to apply for different college and filling for visa again but the college is not responding or acknowledging any of my email since the first mail of refund in December, it has been almost 5 months and I am still waiting for my refund and paying high interest on the loan which i had taken to pay my college fees. Have tried calling them no one answer the issue if its related to refund. If this continues then i will surely take the legal steps against the college as its policy states that refund should be directed not more than 3 months.

Legal Admin Diploma
I supposedly passed all my units and should have received my diploma ( even though I have little to no working knowledge due to not getting a practicum and their horrible curriculum and instructors) however CDI is refusing to actually give me the diploma. They have sent a debt of unpaid book fees worth approx 400 dollars to collection agency. I refuse to pay the remaining fees for books I still have that we did not even use, are from 2003 and for the Province of Ontario. This school has ruined my life and forced me to having suicidal thoughts everyday.

Ripping off students
I am extremally upset and so done with this school. They rip off their students like no tomorrow. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone from CDI or get a correct response from anyone. They constantly lie to their students in order to get them to enroll in their college then rip off every single one of us. Once a few of us students graduate we will be taking this into bigger hands to get this school to not rip off anymore students. A complete [censored] of a program, incredibly un organized and lack of care for their students. Only thing on their mind is getting money, then threating students that if they do not pay their account will be suspended. I am nearly done and am pushing my way through this complete disaster of a school. Un fair and illegally unacceptable how they treat their students.

Integrity, false advertisement
I contacted CDI College in the fall of 2020 for information on their Social Media Specialist Certificate, and although I did ask the right questions to their student counselor such as “do I need a marketing degree of some kind to take this certification?”, their reply was “you don’t need to know marketing to take this certification” which was an absolute lie. The first two courses were a breeze, but as soon as we got to the actual digital marketing subjects, not only did I quickly realized that I had been duped for my money (17k in student loans) but also their teachers confirmed with me that you DO need to have a marketing degree to fully understand how this certification would tie into marketing. One of those teachers was clearly upset that they had lied to me and brought me in under false pretences. That was my first wake up call. Then as I continued my studies there, some of the students in my classes did not speak English such as the case of a woman in my business writing class who could not even put two sentences together verbally, yet alone do a whole written essay. Another gentleman in my other classes, also with very little English, literally stalled the class as we continually had to stop and dissect with him what the teacher had just said. When we did work in groups, this gentleman rode on our tails to get his side of the projects completed. I and other people reached out to our teacher to complain about this behaviour but there was not much the teacher could do as the student counselor had accepted this individual into the college program, although I’m sure it reflected on his grades. CDI College only cares about getting students in debt so they can align their pockets, taking full advantage of the government funded programs. I do not recommend this college at all to anyone interested in getting a real education. It’s been almost a year since I finished this certification and have not even had one interview for Social Media Specialist even though I have sent countless resumes applying for such positions. This is due to the fact that I do not have a marketing degree as all the job postings clearly say marketing degree with social media is needed. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, save your money and moral. Now I must pay back the money and no job in sight.

Not getting proper education during my RMT course
I attended the 2019 to 2021 RMT program I was only in for a few months before covid hit and we went online for a hands on program we spent majority of our course online which made it very difficult to learn hands on while only doing lectures over zoom. I did not receive clinical we did not get proper exams since we could not go into the school. I did not receive what I paid for and do not want to pay the tuition as I ended up leaving as did over 20 students in that class. It became so overwhelming as we did not get class time like the previous programs. I should not pay for an education that I did not properly receive and covid was an uncontrollable circumstance.
Desired outcome: I do not want to be responsible for the tuition as I did not receive what I paid for.

I applied for fee refund to cdi college, montreal (canada) in october 2021 but still waiting & I sent multiple reminders to the college for refunding my fee niether any of my emails is responded nor they are releasing my refund.
I am so disappointed by the such irresponsible attitute of a reputed college of a great country like canada.
I recommend to the future aspirants wiling to study in canada. Please stay away from applying to private colleges especialy cdi college.

When I first found out about CDI by Google. I was excited as it was fully online and didn’t know anything about them o I started googling and researching what courses they had. I found Community Youth Service worker which was I was very interested in. I inquired and got a call back threw there website from an admission man who was very persistent to me to enroll and get things going quickly as possible. His name as Joshua. He would call multiple times a day, even text me and email me if I did not reply right away or answer my phone.
After awhile he transferred me to a financial planner named Chandra.
Chandra would call me multiple times a day to get everything in order and as quickly as possible for me to start and get all my information for student loan and everything else. Chandra would also email and text message my cell phone multiple times if I did not answer his call! Which I find very rude and disrespectful to me like harassment! When I said I dislike being called, text messaged and email many times. I told them to STOP. Chandra would only stop for couple weeks then start doing it all again!
He also changed my start and end dates a FEW times over the time and making me start in October 2021 instead of August 2021.
CDI made some sort of agreement without me to start with out any payment.
Once I started I would still get multiple calls, texts and emails. Which I even said I have my own life and I will charge harassment against you and cdi for calling, texting and emailing me many times a day so he stopped for a little while.
Then comes end of January 2022. Chandra starts calling and texting me demanding me for the money as I already started cause of some agreement they made for me to start without payment. Around Jan.22 I called to see why I am blocked from accessing ALL programs for the course.
The teacher Manika who emails back right away or asap was very handy to email. She told me I was blocked and emailed the administrator and they said it was cause I haven’t paid. I wasn’t notified that I was being blocked or blocked.
Chandra persisted me to call NSLC and Student aid BC to find out where the money is.
I called NSLC and student aid BC! They both said they never received a confirmnation of enrollment from the school! CHANDRA started making me feel bad that it was all my FAULT when it was HIS AND CDI COLLEGE! For not doing a confirmnation of enrollment for the money to released TO ME. Then I emailed CDI right way about it ! He aid he would look into it!
Which all of it was making me very stressed and still am!
So I decided to email him again to say I want to withdrawal immediately right now completely. He didn’t want me to.
I emailed Feb 1.2022 saying I want to withdrawal completely! So they said I will be and sent me a form to fill out. I did not get any confirmnation of withdrawal for about 2 weeks! When I emailed back for it the second time. It was only a CDI college with drawal!.
After I signed the CDI withdrawal form.. I received an email saying he did the Confirmnation of enrollment and money was released few days later!
Chandra stopped emailing me so I emailed the teacher Manika and she got a financial planner Danielle to contact me because Chandra stopped emailing me and contacting me and would not answer my emails or texts!
I am very unhappy how PUSHY that school is for a person to apply, get enrolled and start the school!
They only me to enroll to get my money and always screw me around changing everything many times.
I even asked for his supervisor/manager to email me. Which Tariq did not for a week, Emailed Chandra for the email address he gave It to me as I wanted clarification of the course, certificate and credits and all she could reply back is “I don’t know how to answer that”
It does not make sense that they did the confirmnation of enrollment without telling me and after I filled out and sent back CDI withdrawal form!
They are very scam by all reviews online. I did find out the certificate for the course would be no good in BC!

I called Student aid BC and NSLC- CDI never did a Confirmnation Of Enrollment and BLAMED ME and made me feel bad that I had a break down and took 3 weeks unpaid leave off of work!
When it was all their FAULT for not doing one! so i said im withdrawalling immediately! which they didnt like but i demanded I did withdrawal since they BLOCKED ME FROM ACCESSING ALL SCHOOL ACCOUNTS!

I HAD no idea where the money was going to and that they were even getting it! I received an email saying it was pending release from national studentt loan canada so I called them right away to try STOP it and they said there is no way to! and that CDI has to RETURN iit right away BACK. which they did not! as they want to keep the money for harassing me, misleading me and demanding me.

I joined the CDI College on November 2021. As for the admission it is really quick and Admin will provide their own cell phone to contact and they have time at any time of day to reach out but once you are taking the course they really doesn't care about students. The course outline they have provided is unaccrued, they will send you to different locations where they are convenience for even as online students. And every Instructors are confuse and they have no idea regarding ebooks or how to teach. One Instructor speaking there own language in class with there students from her country which is not ethical as a Instructor. Instructor use the youtube and google for students to do research, Not using the Book which is for course. They are just wasting the time and money of students for their own job and to run college. Not for the future of students or publics. Because on the test or exams, Students are able to use there phone for exchange answers or cheating. They use social media thru pass there exams so, what is reason for going to college? Just to get degree and certificate to get the job without any knowledge on there fields. Especially who is in medical field.
Desired outcome: Please refund my money or please make sure we as students get quality education and respect for time and money.
