CDI College review: Complaints board assessment of cdi college

Dear Complaints Board,

Your 100% assessment of this company couldnt be further from the truth.

I mean are you serious?

Whoever wrote that piece should be fired. I'll tell you why...

Basically EVERY point that person tried to make about CDI College trustworthiness and long-standing service are ignorant observations from the outside.

Like a spectator at a football game who is sitting in the last seat, in the highest last row, where you view makes the players look like ants, kind of assessment.

You say, "CDI College is very old. THis represents a long-standing foundation for excellent service and bla bla bla..."

Let me ask you, did YOU go to ANY CDI College? Ever?

Because I did. And so did many many other people, who put their trust in CDI College and instead ended up more in debt and further behind than they were before signing up to a CDI Course.

I mean either this was your first day on the job and you quickly threw together whatever bullets points Google Search gave you.

But if you had actually done a 100% concise and diligent job of doing your research, you would easily find countless records of complaints, lawsuits, student complaints, case studies and even a CBC Marketplace episode that focused entirely and directly on CDI's recruitment process, students being overcharged for books, missing student loan funds and all sorts of irregularities.

And thats just off the top of my head.

Currently, I have a student complaint with CDI College and it is mind numbing and bias process that pits the student against CDI Admin, CDI regional Admin Support, Alberta Private Career Colleges and even the Minister of Education for Alberta whose reply to my specific query was a link to 'Income Support".

My complaint was shrugged off like it didnt matter.

Said his peace then put his stamp of avoidance on it, saying," I trust this matter is now closed."

And that was that.

Then you say, "CDI website has SSL. That means they are a trustworthy and secure site with no hyperlinks or hidden phishing links..."

That one gave me a chuckle.

Cause it just made you sound like a corrupt journalist who obviously knows ZILTCH about websites and SSL.

Just because a website has an SSL certificate attached to it, does not automatically mean that that website and its content are trustworthy and an excellent business.

It simply means this. SSL is standard technology for securing an internet connection by encrypting data sent between a website and a browser (or between two servers).

Or if offering a product or service through its online website, that transaction is secure.

Neither of those two even remotely mention the businesses ethics and "outstanding customer and long-standing pillar of many Canadian and U.s. based communities."

If you dont understand that, you really need to. And if you need examples of a SSL encrypted website that has been or still is known for scamming and illicet business practices, let me know, ill send you a zip file full of em'.

You have no concept or idea of just how much damage CDI College has done to literally hundreds and probably thousands of students.

You think your assessment in this website is doing anyone a good service?

Its NOT. You, editor who allowed this garbage to be posted, are doing visitors to your website a dis-service by telling them CDI College is great place...

You, DON"T KNOW SHI%^#$!

(This honestly was the most far fetched and couldnt be further fromt he truth article I have ever read on this subject.)

If they allow my comment here to be posted, which I doubt they will, do NOT listen or heed in that assessment. If you value your money, time and future, NEVER sign up to ANY CDI College course. They are wolves in sheep's clothing, (Except some of the teachers), and only care about 1 metric, getting your student aid funding to line their pockets. Once they have, it basically like you dont exist. Your better off learning on your own or through YouTube.
