Prepaid contract for r599 with 10g data, 3000 min
I have paid for my prepaid contract and I have still not received my benefits. I have been calling cell c since last week thursday and each time I am told the issue has been escalated and will be resolved! I have just called again today and I am being told my case have been assigned to someone else and I must wait 48 hours. How? Why am I being made to wait yet another day for my benefits to be loaded?
To date nothing has happened but you have received my payment with all requested proofs of payment for even past months! I am working from home how am I supposed to work without voice minutes or data! This is very frustrating! I am begging you to fix this!
I have asked to also terminate my contract for the month of november! This email serves as my notice as I am a prepaid customer on a month to month! I am so so tired of begging cell c for benefits I pay for!

Services
I'm very unhappy about Cell C's service. My phone fell and the screen broke. I submitted it with RAM with all the documents I sent hundred times. Nobody did anything and now they said I submitted the claim too late. It's not my fault. They also said the procedure is going to take a long time due to covid 19. It is not my fault that the claim is late. I have already paid the extra amount on the claim. You need to repair the phone or I'm looking for the new one. I have a one year warranty on the phone so I'm also under the impression that I can get a new one if something happens. If I do not get my phone back now and that it has been repaired, I will go to Hello Pieter and I will submit a statement to the Police. As soon as I have my phone back I am going to cancel my contract.

Cancellation
I have a contract with cellc that expired this month, I want to cancel it because I have no use for it anymore. The past 4 days, I have been calling the retentions department for more than 5times a day, just to get put on hold for sometimes over 30minutes without amy answer. I have emailed them with no luck. How must I cancel a contract if there is no one that can assist you and the shops wont help you also. Its R900 a month that I pay for something I dont use and now they dont wamt to assist to cancel it, the contract have even been renewed without my consent. I will not pay for this thing forever because the service is pathetic and they dont want to answer the phone or assist their clients. Please cellc, the retentions department must call me back or I am going to take legal action. Thanks.

Good day. I would like to lay a complaint, I recieved a message that my contract is due for an upgrade with that said I decided to go for an upgrade yesterday 30th September 2020. I was assisted by a lady by the name Lleta I hope I got the name right. Everything went we until the lady didn't clearly explain thing well regarding sim card swap. She asked if I want to do I sim swap and I said no, looking at the fact that I am no longer using the sim card. I got home and realised the new phone has no sim card, to my understanding I thought the phone has to come with a sim card irrespective of making a sim swap or not which was something she did not explain, when I went back to the store today 1st October 2020 she was not in and was told to come back Saturday which I could not do cause I am working. I was first assisted by a Male consultant who we didn't understand each other as we were talking then he referred me to a lady who was totally rude in all possible way. She told me of how she was listening to my conversation with Lleta yesterday and refused to let me explain why I think the phone must come with a sim card, she further went on and called me a lie as if it was not enough she called Lleta and spoke about me as if I was not around whilst laughing over the phone. When me and the lady I was with were trying to explain to her how they should have explained to me that upgraded phones don't come with a sim card she dismissed us and told us to come on Saturday and that I will have to pay R120 for a sim swap. I may have been wrong about the sim card but the least she could have done is explain to me how things are instead of her being rude and making me feel like a fool. She refused to give me her name but she said something about working in the office I think she is a manager or supervisor there, when I told her to refer me to someone who can assist me rather than waiting for Saturday she said I must ask her to do a sim swap for me, it felt as if she wanted me to beg her to do her job. I am honestly disappointed at the way she treated us more especially because she wouldn't listen saying things like "I am not talking to you, you were not here yesterday and all of that'. I would have reported this at hello Peter but I thought I should start here and if I don't get the results I am looking for I will take this forward. Please teach your employees to listen to customers before replying and clearly explain to customers how things work, making sure we understand before leavingthe store. I mean how do you buy a contract phone that has incentives (data packages and more) without a simcard, it doesn't make sense to me. The store is at Mamelodi east, mams mall next to pick and pay store.

Cancellation of cell c fibre
We have canceled our Cell C Fibre contract and gave a month's notice, yet our line is still active.
We will not pay for another single day as our Fibre contract was supposed to come to an end on midnight the 30th of September 2020.
We have signed up with a new service provider and they confirm that our line has not been released even though we received written notice that our line will be released.

Contract cancellation
I have been trying to cancel my contract with Cell C for at least 4 months. Every month I still have to pay for a contract I no longer want and then they would occasionally call me to find out if I'm happy with the contract, when I say no I have to explain the entire situation from the start and then my calls are transferred from one person to the next.
When I finally get to cancellations dept. I hold for at least 15-30 minutes and then the line drops. I have wasted at least 5 hours of my life unsuccessfully trying to stop the contract and spent hundreds of rands on a contract that I no longer want. I am extremely frustrated and at this point I think they do it to purposefully to milk as much as they can from their customers. I have been with them for 10 years and it seems that no amount of loyalty goes unpunished. They make it nearly impossible to cancel a contract.

When I am trying to log in I get a message that my number is being used by some one else, this is causing too much stress in my life right now how can CellC allow someone to have my number or clone it or why is Facebook not blocking the individual then? Please will u resolve this I had gotten another message that my number is on telegram really...wow.This is my personal information being at risk for public consumption.

Contracts
In January 2020. We went to Clearwater Mall Branch to find out why we have additional amounts on our LTE contract and they could not give a answer. We said as soon as our contract is done we will rather move to fiber. They had a consultant phone by the name of Thabiso. He said he can cancel our contract and move us to cell C Fiber now. So in January we thought wow great service and we did it. We are now in September get over R4000.00 debits going off my bank account for this LTE line and every consultant can not understand what we are talking about. Then finally we get a call and the consultant apologized and said he will send us a paid letter and credit this LTE line for us. Finally we were done... But wait now I get a freaking message say we must pay another R1700 for this for this account cause the original person that helped has now left Cell C and now there is no proof that any of this was said. Bottom line Cell C Scammed my family into getting another contract. Thank you so much for the worst service ever. We will NOT pay this account. I can not believe what you have done. I am shocked with such BAD service

Top up contract benefits
I have been battling with cell c for almost 2 weeks now to get my benefits loaded for my month to month 3g pinnacle top up contract. I have been told by their consultants that they can see and do confirm cell c has received my monthly fee on 29 august 2020, but up until today 14 september 2020, they still have not loaded my benefits. I have struggling with cell c to get this sorted out since 3 september 2020. I am appalled by their bad service and couldn't care attitude. If you don't want my business anymore cell c, then please say so. Refund my measly r250 and I will go elsewhere.

Your seven day policy was explained to me and my understanding is that I can return wiithin 7 days if there is anything defective with the cell phone.
I did the standrad charging requirements for the phone but it immediately ran down within a few hours, I again put the phone on charge the Sunday evening and the folowing day it ran down in about 8 hours. I require a phone as part of my job requirments, and the company pays for the phone so I can be contactable. First Cape gate refused to take my phone in as I bought the phone in Paarl Cell C. Only on insistence was I helped. Then to be told I need to wait for a phone 7 to 14 days which means I cannot perform my work on Monday. I requested a replacement phone which I was told I cannot get and what do I expect that someone else must now buy a second-hand phone. Wll, I feel I bought a defective device and can construe this as second hand. I now have to buy another pohone before worth on Monday which is an absolute inconvenience. I then requested cancellation of my contract and was told I can not do that either. Ileft my pohone at the shop and wish that someone resolve the matter. If I have to spend more money because of your rules, I would you to remedey my situation or to cancel this contract with immediate effect.

Paid up letter
My name is Thabo, I had a contract that I paid up last year September and I went to a bank to apply for credit on to find out that it still reflects arrears, called for a paid up letter, I'm given a run around after I was advised to wait for 48 hours, now I'm told the legal department is working from home, I can't contact them directly and I can't be provided with a maximum timeframe of when can I receive the paid up letter. I waited for a full year for them to resolve my query and even up to this moment nothing has materialized., It's really frustrating

24 month contract
i've been having a contract with cell c for almost 1 year 4 months, in June 2020 my services were dismissed without my knowledge. and when I go to the shop I was told my account is not on records anymore because of an unpaid debits for Feb to Mar, I couldn't understand how because at some stage in Feb I missed a debit and I went to pay cash. I ran a credit check on my profile a couple of months ago and it turns out that cell c account hasn't updated on their system that the account has been paod up on 31 January 2020 already. I have since been trying to get a paid up letter from them and everytime I'm told by the customer service that they will escalate the matter to the legal department and they will phone me back and they never do.
I sent emails to them with proof of payment attached, requesting a paid up letter but they never responded. Now I need to apply for a huge credit and this cell c that is claiming that my account is arrears of R604 is blocking me from applying for any credit. Its like this legal department doesn't exist because wow🙄

Cell c service sucks! I will never recomment them! Ive been a loyal costumer for almost 20 years. Ive heard about there poor service and its dissapointing.
Im without a phone since june. No one has assisted me they send me from pillar to post. Ive emailed I phoned I even have names. Everything I do its almost like dead a end.
I took out a new contract in september 2019 and ask agent I dont want new number and that one of my contacts is expiring and that the contract must run from my old number. That never happened and this was only found out when I lost my phone and insurance told me my contract was paid up and that I cant get phone.

My brother[H I Makhubela]ID No: [protected], Cell number: [protected]. has 2x (contracts with Cell C) the accounts are as follows: [protected] and [protected], to his dismay to date the accounts are zero - to - zero but he s not receiving any data and airtime.
He started seeing this problem from March and April where by Cell c stopped to debit from his bank account and it had money by then it was not his problem, he was then handed over to a collecting company that collected money money on behalf of Cell c and settled.
Her we think the problem was the communication breakdown between Cell c and Mr. Makhubela. Kindly check and assist, the objective was that the children get something to push the school work with their phones and now it does not serve the purpose. if need more information please contact the client.

I have an arrears account with cellc that was handed over to SSDA. Last year Aug we changed jobs and our pay date moved, I sent numerous emails and spoke to numerous consultants to move the dt order. I paid the account every month via eft, I was never informed that I am in arrears because they tried to take dt orders on different occasions before the arranged date and even after eft is allready done, for every time they put a pennalty. By December my account was swithed off and I tried everything to sort it out, even went to the branch. No help, no solution! By March they cancelled my contact, by April it was handed over. I have been struggling ever since to find out who to speak to, to resolve the issue - Cellc could not even tell me to whom my account was handed, after I wrote a complaint on hello peter I eventually got an answer. I was never contacted by cellc or the SSDA company, now my account have suddently gone from 3300 to allmost 4000, I really want to solve this and cellc is to blame for the mess due to incompetent people working there! I want to find a solution and would appreciate help with it - I have contacted the SSDA and made arrangements to settle the account, this morning when I requested banking details from SSDA I was informed that cellc moved the account just this morning (without reasonable explanation) and now I am back to square one - I do not know where my account is and whom to pay the money to!

Sim swap
I can't stress this enough, you really need to change you [censored] mandotory questions... Iv got 2network providers, one is contract one is prepaid witch is u guys, so tell me how am I suppose to know what is my last dailled numbers if I use my other network to make calls from, I last recharged 26 june 2020, my sim is faulty or damaged I don't knw, but clearly customer ser and store can't help me, I want my number back
Cell c fibre account paid
I have done an eft on the 17th showed all my bank statements stating it was done by eft inetbank payment. On the 22nd cell c did debit again after I phoned on the 10th saying money will only be in on the 17th. So I reversed it on the 24th.
I even sent screenshots from my absa app. Showing the time and date it was done same as on my statement.
August I did an eft again because cell c tried a double debit order. On august the 21st I did an inetbank payment of 599 it shows the account number and tge the 599 out of my bank.
So I cannot understand how it cant be sorted out I am so fed up and disgusted in cell c. I am getting a bad credit name and score by the credit burue so this better be sorted out now. Or I will take legal action against cell c like they want to do to me
