Predatory $95 reconnection fees/unparalleled-unprecedented... I've looked at the company's reconnection fees in the past they've never been this high. I looked at other competitors' rates none are this high. After paying the past due balance I was told that I could call to schedule the reconnection appointment when a different agent attempted to tell me that additional fees would be required after we'd already paid the past due amount that was originally quoted as what had to be paid to reconnect the account. They lied/stole $178 then demanded $95 more to turn on services after I was already quoted a different amount and paid it. I'm calling the Houston Police Department, contacting the Railroad Commission, calling the news station, addressing this with other citizens and customers via social media and reporting this to the Public Utility Commission. This is not a business this is a predatory monopoly exploiting hard working Americans and they need to be disbanded and held accountable for the damages they've caused in American households.
Claimed loss: $500 We had to get a hotel room, buy food for seven people, and use gas money to travel outside of the area due to this companies lies/theft/deception and unethical business practices.
Desired outcome: I want my account restored immediately. I want my account credited $95 and If the people managing this company had a soul or any decency they would refund the expenses/cost incurred due to this oversight.
