To cut to the chase, I needed my gas cut back on. I went online and paid not only my bill, but extra fees & charges for them to "reconnect" & have someone come out. This was Friday. Of course they are closed Saturday & Sunday so I had to wait until Monday to speak to someone. An agent told me someone will be coming out the following day on Tuesday. I never went into work because I wanted to make sure I was home. THE TECHNICIAN NEVER CAME. I called them on Wednesday morning. They told me the reason why they never came was because I wasn't home which was a flat out lie. I got no call or door knock. They then go on to tell me someone will be there the following day on Wednesday. I call out of work AGAIN, and no one arrives. This time I even got the automated phone call saying someone is 30 minutes out. The technician never contacted me or turned back on my gas after that. Apparently they came to my building and left because they had an "emergency request" somewhere else. So here we are on Thursday, and an agent tells me that there was only one scheduled appointment for me on her end which was the past Tuesday. To say the least this is completely unacceptable. There is clearly no hHONEST communication between Centerpoint & the technicians that they send out. MY GAS IS STILL NOT ON! I have to call out of work once again in hopes that someone shows up today. This is disgusting.
