I had a mixed experience with my vehicle purchase from Jaguar Huntsville. My salesperson, *** was awesome! His communication and customer service exceeded expectations. My wife and I traveled from Atlanta, GA and Terry made us feel at home as soon as we stepped out of our car. He was able to get us a great deal and even had a bow for us on top of our new car. Things went downhill when we were handed off to the Finance Manager. While completing the Retail Purchase Agreement I told the Finance Manager that I felt there was a discrepancy on the Sales Tax line item and he brushed it off and said what I was initially presented was wrong. There was a lot of back and forth and I was finally refunded the $1,430.62 that I was overcharged. I recognize the transaction was not a simple one because we were from out-of-state and the title of our trade-in was in my wife's name. I wouldn't have known I was overcharged if I didn't review my paperwork and did additional research. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. They made the situation right, but to this day I have never received acknowledgement of the mistake or an apology.

We had a real tough time with Century Automotive. I went all the way to Huntsville to buy a 2011 Sequoia, thinking it would be a good ride for me and my family of six for a long time, like 8-10 years. The sales guy told my wife on the phone that it passed a 100 point check. He told me the same thing when I took it for a spin. I paid $27,500 for it. But guess what? Four days later, the air con stopped working. The mechanic told me there was rust damage underneath the car. And then, three days after that, the freon leaked out. So now, we've been sweating in Mississippi for over a month and a half! Can you believe it? And what did Century Automotive do? They offered to buy it back for only $20,000, three weeks later. They blamed it on the crazy market. But the truth is, they lied about the car and didn't want to take responsibility. Rust! Turns out, the car was driven in New York for a while. These guys got it at an auction and pretended it was a great buy. The last two mechanics I went to refused to change the oil. The bolts are all rusty, or the ones that are left at least. Rust has taken over the wheel base, the AC lines, the engine, everything. And what does Century say? Nothing. They don't care. A 100 point check? Yeah right. Now, my wife and my four little girls and I are stuck with a car we can't trust. And we're also out of a whole lot of money! Please, please be super careful dealing with these guys. They're nothing but liars!

I looked for a long time before buying a car. I decided to buy a 2014 Jeep Cherokee from Century Automotive Group in November because of its good reputation, recommendations from my co-workers, and the belief that they were honest and sold only good cars.
I had a great experience buying from Mitchell *** and I want to thank Century Automotive Group for helping me with a loaner car and replacing the wheel bearings on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee for a warranty claim with ***.
I think Century Automotive Group knowingly sold me a bad car or didn't inspect it properly before I bought it.
When I bought the car, they told me it came with a warranty from Century Automotive with *** | 3 months or 3,000-mile warranty. They said that if anything went wrong with the SUV, I just needed to file a claim and it would be covered. They didn't give me a copy of the warranty details or limitations, just some info about a $100 deductible.
Because Century Automotive Group didn't tell me about the transmission, suspension, and other issues with the SUV, I think they sold me a bad car. I'm getting legal advice on how to fix the car properly and deal with the extra fees because Century didn't give me the warranty details and ***, the warranty company working with Century Automotive Group, is delaying and denying my claim for a new transmission.
According to the Lemon Law, the following problems with the car are covered by the law and apply to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee SUV I bought from Century Automotive Group in November , and *** has denied my claims for repairs from February 17 to now.
PROBLEMS COVERED BY THE LEMON LAW
The Lemon Law covers problems that don't meet the manufacturer's warranty and:
1. Seriously affect how the car is used, its value, or its safety.
2. Happen during normal use of the car.
3. Aren't caused by abuse, neglect, or unauthorized changes to the car.
4. Aren't caused by accidents or damage that happened after the car was delivered to me by an authorized dealer.
LEMON LAW COVERAGE PERIOD: The Lemon Law gives me rights for one year after I bought the car or the first 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
It's April 15, and my SUV still hasn't been properly repaired with new parts. I'm spending money on a rental car and labor charges that *** won't cover.
I DON'T RECOMMEND CENTURY AUTOMOTIVE GROUP as an honest car dealership. They don't sell good cars.

Century Jaguar is intentionally causing vehicles to require additional repairs, and they refuse to sell the necessary parts for customers to fix the issues themselves. I brought my car to them on or around Mar 2 for an oil change and recommendations. However, the very next day, I started experiencing problems such as leaking fluid, and it seemed like these issues were deliberately created by the dealership.
It appears that Century Jaguar is specifically targeting African American customers when it comes to repairs. When I took my car to another repair shop to get it fixed, I was informed that the required part was not available and was on back order. Frustrated, I decided to return to the dealership, hoping they could provide the part. Surprisingly, they did have the part, but they refused to sell it to me. This seems like a fraudulent tactic to force certain customers into expensive repairs that can only be done by the dealership.

I leased a new car from Century Automotive in Huntsville TN on March 11th. Unfortunately, the car I received had 2 open safety recalls and the driver seat massage feature was not working. I asked the sales rep about this before signing the contract, and he assured me that I could get it fixed at any dealership.
Since I live in Nashville TN, I contacted a dealer there and they scheduled an appointment for me in May. I requested that the issue be fixed sooner, but the rep informed me that I would have to drive the car back to Huntsville for an earlier fix. This would have added miles to the car and I didn't want to waste time driving for their mistake.
I am very frustrated because I have to drive a "DEFECTIVE" car or lose some miles on my lease. This has made me unhappy with doing business with this company. It seems like they only care about making the sale and don't prioritize customer satisfaction.
According to Federal law 49 C.F.R. 30120(i), a dealer must remedy any defects or noncompliance before delivering a new vehicle. However, it does not prohibit the sale of these items, only the delivery. This means that dealers can still offer them for sale and take sales contracts, but they must complete the necessary fixes before handing over the keys.
After reaching out to their General Manager, they offered a flatbed truck option so that I wouldn't have to drive the car for 2+ hours. This saved me from adding more miles to the car. However, by the time this was resolved, I had already lost 1 month on my lease as I didn't feel comfortable driving a car with open safety recalls.
Overall, my experience with Century Automotive has been disappointing. They need to prioritize customer safety and satisfaction by ensuring that all vehicles are free from defects before delivering them to customers.
