Your Service Tech, Jeff, was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and had a great personality. He was also very patient as he had to wait for the ice to melt in the back cover of the dehumidifier for the main refrigerator compartment. Actually had all the necessary tools including a quiet hair dryer! He was superb!

I have been without an oven for over a month
I have been without an oven for over a month. We are in a COVID Pandemic and I need an oven for our family of five. I have a warranty through Sears. Sean has been to the house two times. He was suppose to come back to program something and we have not heard from on over a week. I am very frustrated. It should not take this long to fix something. The parts have been at my house for over two weeks!

I was referred to Chamber's Services by a friend when my refrigerator stopped cooling. They are the best! I received a call within an hour to confirm my information, scheduled my service call and was all set. On my repair day I figured I'd have to stay home all day because you never know when they will show up but Sean was here right at 12:00! I was pleasantly surprised. Sean quickly diagnosed that the circulation fan was not working causing the accumulation of ice around the fan. After a hair dryer defrost and reset, and the removal of a wayward screw, the fan was working like new!. I was so relieved as I was expecting a compressor or other major part/expense. Sean was professional, personable and absolutely knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do my repair. He will be our go-to person from now on for any major appliance repairs. Thank you Chamber's for having a wonderful associate available to us. Thank you Sean!

Chambers was secured not by me but by the manufacturer of my washing machine in December
Chambers was secured not by me but by the manufacturer of my washing machine in December . They completed a recall repair on my washing machine. It did not resolve the problem leaving my washing machine unusable. The manufacturer denied paying Chambers the cost of the service but I was completely unaware of this as it was not communicated by Chambers or the manufacturer. This was supposed to be covered by the manufacturer. If I were choosing a service center it would not have been Chambers. Weeks later I received a voice mail from an unidentified person stating I have an outstanding invoice. I returned the call within the hour but was transferred to voice mail where I left a message expressing my surprise and stating that the manufacturer should have covered the cost. I received NO call back and I assumed the issue was resolved. Instead I received a statement in the mail two weeks later with a handwritten note threatening to send me to collections. The statement did not itemize what was owed, did not state the date of service, and didn't state why I was being charged. After receiving this statement and threat, over the course of the next several days through phone calls and emails, I stayed in communication with Chambers about my actions to negotiate payment with the manufacturer and the response was another voice mail about sending me to collections. I understand a business is trying to received what is owed to them but threatening collections as the first measure of communication is not a business anyone should want to do business with in my opinion.

I am acting on behalf of my Mother, [Mother's Name]
I am acting on behalf of my Mother, [Mother's Name]. She is elderly and recently widowed. I live out of state. I try to help when possible. Her malfunctioning washer wasn't working. She called Chambers Services for repair. They sent technicians out on 4 separate occasions. 3/3, 3/10,3/16, and 3/18. She paid a total of $310.00 to Chambers and her washer still was not repaired. The first tech who came out said the washer needed a simple part, that he would order it and come back. That same tech came back the second time to replace the part he had ordered and before he was able to start working on the washer he, in his words, "the part I ordered and brought today is broken. I'll have to come back" so he didn't check the part before returning to do the repairs. Another 2 times different techs came out. In between each visit my mother would call the office to get any answers on what the problem was and why it was taking so long. The staff was rude and gave no answers. They did not seem to care if my elderly mother had a working washer or get a working washer in a timely manner. Taking my advice, my mother phoned [Alternative Service Provider]. They came out the very next day. The tech was very professional and helpful. As soon as he got to the washer he slightly moved it to start the repairs, when he noticed something under the machine. When he moved the washer back further to start analyzing the problem he noticed right away what the issue was. There had been a family of chipmunks living under the washer. A nest just slightly smaller than the washer itself. [Alternative Service Provider] repaired the washer and left. It has been working ever since. [Alternative Service Provider] charged her $80. Today Chambers phones my mother letting her know the proper parts were finally in. Chambers never told my mother they were ordering parts or planning on coming back out. She told Chambers she had to call another service provider because they had not been able to repair the machine.
