shoddy workmanship, missed appointments
I ordered windows and a storm door from Champion Windows in May 2008 with a scheduled installation of the first week of July, during my vacation. Problems started from before the installation. The factory broke one of the windows so didn't ship any of the windows, and I was notified in the middle of my vacation week that the installation had to be postponed, too late for me to reschedule my vacation. Thanks to the then service manager (since then let go!), who drove to Colorado and picked up my windows, the windows were installed before my vacation ended. Unfortunately the crew that installed the windows was apparently not qualified to install windows, or at least trim them. They miscut numerous pieces of trim which they then filled with caulking, and had rough pieces of metal sticking out in various places. Caulking was left dripping off some of the windows. Nails, bits of trim and cigarette butts were left all over my property. In addition to the problem with the window delivery and the extremely poor trim work, Champion sent the wrong storm door. The screen window for a slider window I ordered was not the full-sized screen I had ordered. When they sent the full size screen, manufactured by Champion to supposedly fit the window, also manufactured by Champion, it was too large. They redid the screen and the new screen was too small. They made the screen the correct size on the third try. At the advice of a friend I used a mirror to check the trim covering the bottom of two ground-touching windows. The trim covering the wood window sill of one of the windows only covered approximately half of the sill, leaving the remaining wood to soak up any water that got near the window, or any melted snow. No caulking was put around the trim on the largest window installed in my home, approximately a 70" square window. Champion was notified on July 28, 2008 of these problems and that all but 1 of the 11 casement cranks had a gap above the crank cover that allowed bugs in my house when the windows were opened. The service manager determined that the piece that fit behind windows with the gap were but lower than the one window that didn't have the gap. The installation manager, store owner and the district manager all looked at the quality of the installation and said nothing about getting it replaced. They tried various solutions to the problems with the gaps above the crank cases except insisting the plant cut the pieces to the same specifications as the piece that was cut higher and didn't have the problem. Emails and phone calls to the owner were frequently ignored. It took a year and a half of my time and finally getting Good Housekeeping involved before Champion had the exterior trim removed and replaced by someone who knew what they were doing and did a good job. Once the trim was removed we found one window that had only partially been insulated. They finally got pieces that were cut a little higher to resolve the issue with the gap above the housing, but the solution for two of the pieces was ordering uncut pieces which one of the servicemen manually cut. I don't know if they ever fixed the press that was miscutting these pieces. During this entire ordeal, there were numerous instances of Champion not showing up for scheduled appointments, or calling well after the scheduled time to let me know they were running late. Unfortunately the problems have continued. I now have several windows where the exterior seal is tearing. I notified Champion of this on September 7, 2010. I was immediately contacted by the new installation manager who volunteered several times that things were going to be different now, there had been a lot of people not doing their jobs - including the previous installation manager - and he had fired them all. He would order the materials needed and should have them in the next week. Because of other things I had going on in my life, I didn't follow up with Champion on this material, but the sales manager contacted me October 24 to tell me the material was in. He scheduled the replacement for Saturday, October 30 at 8:30 a.m. He left me a voicemail late afternoon on Friday, October 29 asking me to call but not indicating why he needed me to call. I left him two voicemails which were not returned. Saturday morning, no one showed up at 8:30. I received a call from the manager at 8:50 saying they weren't going to make the appointment. After explaining that this wasn't acceptable, reminding the manager of his statements that things were going to be better now that he was manager and that it had taken over a month to call back instead of the week he had initially indicated and now they were canceling 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time so it appeared things were worse instead of better, he indicated again they weren't coming. I left a voicemail with Champion's answering service and was told the office opened at 10. I contacted the office a little after 11 when I hadn't heard anything and found out the person answering the phone was the only person there. She took my name and number and tried to contact the owner on his cell phone, then called me back at 11:23 to advise she hadn't heard back yet. At this point I don't know when or if they will honor their lifetime warranty and replace the torn material. I've attached pictures of the windows AFTER the initial install and of the gap above the crank houses.
This is an update to the complaint I posted. Champion did come out and replace the torn seal around my windows. I feel the district manager scheduled a time that he felt would be more convenient for me based on our discussion after the early Saturday morning appointment had been missed. The service manager who blew off the appointment and lied to me is no longer with the company. The district manager has followed up with me by phone to ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction and make sure that I have no other outstanding issues with the windows. He has assured me that Champion will make sure any future issues with their windows are addressed to my satisfaction.
used non-paintable caulking & broke stove top range
Used non-paintable caulking around windows. Broke stove top range and took weeks to replace i t. Had to pay a professional paint company to fix the caulking damage $700 after paying Champion for messing it up.
Their response to the negligence: We are done and that's it.
At this point, it would be a civil lawsuit.
I recommend to use a more knowledgable window company and allow a professional painter/co to do the caulking job.
On Champion's flyer ads, they say they build it. install it and stand behind it. They do not stand behind their work at all.

its because champion uses 100% silicone caulking.they use silicone because its flexible. no it is not printable however it wont turn yellow or crack like the caulking other company's use.
Contact Champion of Cincinatti on the website, and I am sure a satisfactory result will be obtained. Championfactorydirect.com.
service
We purchased a house with Champion windows - installed in 06.
I called Champion to have repair on a window and they told me that I needed the receipt and record of the sale. We don't have that as previous owner contracted the installation. Now I wanted to pay for repair and since this is their product expected service for the product that they supposedly stand by.
If you had bought Anderson Windows or any window at Home Depot there is a real warranty. Bottom line don't buy Champion pay a little extra -- or maybe not -- but get a window that is truly under warranty.
Champion makes a sub standard product and don't stand behind their product either!

wrong price
I RECEIVED A QUOTE FROM A SALESMAN OF CHAMPION ON A FRENCH DOOR. TWO DAYS LATER I CALLED HIM TO STOP BY AND PICK UP HIS CONTRACT HE HAD SIGNED. HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAD MADE A MISTAKE AND CHARGED ME FOR ONLY ONE OF THE TWO FRENCH DOORS IN WHICH THE PRICE WAS ORIGINALLY 2127.00 AND HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITH THE NEW PRICE. THE NEXT DAY HE CALLED ME TO SAY THAT THE MANAGER SAID I COULD GET THE SAME SET OF DOORS AT COST OF 3799.00 DUE TO THE ERROR THAT THE SALESMAN HAD MADE. I DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY DUE TO THIS HUGE MISTAKE AND THINK THAT THEY SHOULD ABIDE BY THE SALESMANS PRICE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME IN WRITING. IF ANYONE SHOULD PAY THE DIFFERENCE IT SURE SHOULDN'T BE ME...

Champion just blows though salesman like your toilet goes though water and it sounds like the both of you had gotten a hold of a rookie salesman that didn't have a clue what they was doing and was just winging it to get the INK as they say it at Champion. That is typical within the Champion organization as a whole. Most sales professional that has any ethical standards what so ever can see the writing on the walls at Champion that says "USED CARS" and would just move to something more professional then the Champion organization as they are headed up by a bunch of ole tin siding salesmen from years gone past. Its just a revolving door at most of Champion branch locations. Most of the sales staff just get tired of getting rejected because of Champion outrageously high prices for just standard quality equipment that can be purchased else where for a much lower prices. Champion lives for the uneducated customers that hasn't done there purchasing homework and buys into there fake false front. Champion will represents themselves of being "SUPERIOR" with there trained sales pitches and sales tactics but the siding that they are selling is a CRANE brand siding which can be purchased though any local siding contractor for about half of what Champion is trying sell it for. Champion also uses SUB CONTRACTORS to install there products. The only thing that is SUPERIOR about Champion is the crap that is coming from there salesman lips as most only know what they have been trained to say or told to say by the Champion trainers. Champion will not stand by any salesperson as they are all just independent commission only sale people and they will say anything to get the ink on there contacts. You would be amazed what goes on under the vial at Champion. Oh I forgot its "AGREEMENTS" as contract is a bad word at Champion. Once the ink on the contract and they get you past any contract recession period your BBQ. BUYERS BEWARE.
I ran into a similar situation. We needed to have our soffits replaced and were looking to use siding in place of stucco. Same thing happened with the salesman. Took measurements, told us they would remove the existing stucco and put up the new soffits (we asked if the stucco would be removed 4 TIMES!). After signing the contract, we got a phone call, a week later, saying that there was a problem. The price quoted, the price written on the contract, did not cover the removal. Now the price was going to be DOUBLE what was on the signed contract. After being blown off and told that they would not budge from the NEW PRICE, we canceled the contract and we still are trying to get the soffit replaced. Even launching a formal complaint with the BBB didn't get a response, let alone an apology.
Champion stands behind its salespeople, not their word or contract. Unless you have a ton of money to waste in this economy, go with someone else.
windows
I had a house full of windows installed in the spring of 2008. The first winter I had to put plastic on the windows, because they leaked so bad. Again this past winter I've had to do the same. I did call the company and they sent someone out to investigate. They said this was a normal occurence. Extremely dissatisfied with the windows and the customer service. That was the worst $7, 500.00 I ever spent.

the draft coming through ours will put out a candle
stay away at all costs
I had Champion out to our home to provide a free estimate. The sales person was rude and insisted that we place an order that evening or we would not be able to get the Bogus sale price. We placed an order just to get him out of our home and called to cancel the next morning. The Manager rufused to cancel the order and refund our deposit. We then contacted the BBB and finally got the order cancelled and our money returned...4 weeks later. This company is extremely unprofessional and unethical...Stay away at all costs! The prosuct is average at best and way overpriced.

Check out www.ChampionScam.com for more details of MY personal experience with Champion Windows. My experience was horrible, and i even had to call the police on their employee!
backed off from completing project
I just became a first time homebuyer and requested champions to take a look at our upgrades request. My primary concern was to have the siding fixed as there was a small hole that needed repair. They agreed to fix it along with getting my window estimates to be installed in the near future. I planned to do the whole siding of the wall and replace 7 windows. Once the contractor arrived he was helpful in explaining what needed to be done and that it would not be a problem to replace the 2 or 3 siding planks. He tried to match the material and said he was unsuccessful. Furthermore, the weather was getting worse and cold season was coming up. As he attempted to find a match and time to return to the fix the project, a month later, we are still waiting and have the siding partially exposed. I got the phone call today from the company saying "it's really not our job to fix it, the temporary board that's placed up is for our concern for you and you're family and we're not going to be able to do the work you requested." hello? This is a siding installation company isn't it? I guess my request wasn't as manageable as others. My God, how people's word just isn't what it used to be. Thanks Champions for placing us on hold to hear that you can't do it. That's real "Caring".
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
he is right. no champion store would operate like this. they wouldn't be able to match the siding unless it was crane .046. b/c thats what they use champion only uses one product and one grade. they don't have good, better, best like most company's .
Champion Window based in Cincinnati only installs vinyl siding. You may have dealt with a small local company, but Champion would not be the one doing minor siding repair, unless it was to enhance a vinyl window or siding remodel. You sound upset, as you should, but no Champion store would operate this way.
poor service and follow up
Our experience with Champion Windows started out great. The Sales person seemed knowledgable and gave a nice presentation. It went downhill from there we ordered our windows on 9/1. After making several status calls to the salesperson, I got frustrated with his non response and called to speak to his manager. I waited one week for the manager to call back. He never called back. I finally got Nikki who also failed to follow up .The office manager Pat was the next person I spoke with, she did follow up. When the day came for our windows to be installed the crew sent out had never done an arch window. We had to reschedule. This gets better, when our windows were installed the Arch was made with the incorrect grid pattern. The installation manager came out to re measure the window and broke the window while measuring, very strange, they probably wanted to blame the factory and say the glass came in broken to save their margin. The manager also left our customer file at our home where I noticed 11 days passed( (measured 9/3 ordered 9/14) between the day we measured and the windows were ordered. Wow, that would have explained the delay from the original 6 week time quote. Steve the franchise owner was also disappointing. When I asked him why his salesperson and he did not call me back he said it was because he got too many messages and since I had talked to Pat he did not feel the need to call me back. Nick the salesman was told not to communicate with us since his poor service was now being addressed by the office. Pat almost saved this poor experience but I feel that potential customers must know that this Champion branch in my opinion does not care about customer service and follow up. I CANNOT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRANCH. The windows seem okay and the installers were okay, (by the way don't listen to the line that all of the installers are Champion employees they are contractors and obviously not fully trained, remember the first crew that showed up for my installation had never installed an arch window.) This review is being submitted because Steve(owner) Nick (salesman)and Nikki (scheduler) failed to follow up and communicate when I had questions about my order. Pat and Dave almost recovered this experience but to me this Champion franchise only cares about getting your money.

fixing a broken window
We purchased five double hung, one garden, one two lite slider 6/23/09 They were installed 8/17/09 On 8/25/09 the garden windwo broke. I called the Avon office to inform them of problem. They told me it was probably a stress fracture. They sent someone out to measure the broken part. They should have already had those measurements in the computer. Anyway, they said it would be another six weeks for the part to come in. At the end of six weeks I called, only to find the order was never submitted. She said it would be another six weeks. I explained to her that we were going away and needed to get that window fixed before we leave. She called the factory, and they said the window would be here by Monday November 2, 2009 and scheduled the instalation for Tuesday November 10. Today, I found out the window is still not here and it won't be fixed before we leave.
Throughout this entire ordeal, the manager of the Avon Store, Mr. Tony Coviello has never called to offer any kind words. Now I am stuck waiting for this window to be fixed. I am also having moisture on the inside of the slider. This is not a good sign.
I would like to speak with anyone that can give me an explanation of why this situation has occured in the first place.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Sounds like a stress crack as stated by sales rep. The moisture in the glass will not hurt anything because the whole sash will be replaced and the moisture is only condensation for the air. I hope this helps Mr. Hollaway.
Champion does manufacturer there own windows and it take 6-8 weeks to custome manufacter them and then shipped them. The Champion store that you purchase the windows from can just call its factory and put a rush on any custom replacement part to fix your garden window which it sounds like they are just dragging there feet and making you pound you salt before they are willing to get off there duffs and help you with your issues. Maybe you already pissed them off so now they are just making you pay for that. It just typical for a Champion Manager to hide behind the Vail at Champion. I would put money that its just an shipping charge issues and the local branch would have pay a bit extra for any shipping charges to get the part faster so they are just putting you on its regular window ordering cue just to pinch pennies on any extra fright cost. I would just tell you to call the head offices in Cini, OH to see if they would be willing to help you with your issues and then you might here from the local Manager. Company wide Champion has the same bad attitude when it comes to customer service issues. I used to work for them for a bit and that was a huge mistake. I would recommend anyone thinking about purchasing any Champion products to seek another source.
ripp offs, jerks & cons
Are you kidding... I am sick and tried of double standards and the greed these days. I'm very disappointed and I got to warn everyone to stay away from Champion of Oklahoma City because they are a bunch of ripoffs and con artists. Dale Hollaway the division manger is a total jerk to deal with and the office lady Vicky. I was told that was Dales wife and I wonder how they stand each other. Same bad attitude I guess. They are both are some really ugly people and they shouldn't be allow to be out in public. Our salesman Chad was really nice until we made our purchase and then he could not help us with anything else. The spin cycle was in over drive within the Champion offices then we got to meet with the division manger Mr. Dale Holloway and he told us to go get a lawyer if we wanted out of our contract. Chad had wrote the wrong date on the contract that we foolishly signed it so Champion claimed that we was out of our three days contract calculation period which we was not. This group is a bunch of snakes and bullies. I found out that we could of saved about half of what we had paid Champion for its average windows, thanks Chad your good at what you do for a living but I wonder how you all can stand yourself? Do not trust this company as its prices is highly over inflated. If we would of done more leg work before we committed to purchase from these jerks we would of saved a lot of money. Lets just say it wasn't pleasant and we wished we had not of got involved with Champion of Oklahoma City.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Sounds like just like any other Champion store. More of the same so don't do any business with Champion.
OMG! Thank you for the heads up. Chad was in my home in OKC a few weeks ago. He appeared to be a pretty nice guy but, the windows were darn expensive for what I wanted. His sales pitch was good; however, I didn't fall out of the tree last night and some of the things he promise didn't add up and sound somewhat unbelievable. He told me if I signed the contract that day (pressure buy) I would get 50% off of the windows, but the windows were still very expensive, if I signed after that day the windows would be 35% off. After Chas' sales pitch, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach that something just wasn't right. Needless to say, I went with another company to get my entire windows install and it was only 1, 900.00 and they look great. Champion was twice that much.

Room does not meet the NC Residential Building Code; frame separating one month after installation complete; sharp edges left on frame; room leaks, only when it rains.
In sum, Champion will promise you the world, then do as they please and not fulfill the product quality promised on its website and sales literature. A picture is worth a thousand words, see the attached pictures! It is amazing that Roy Cooper and the Department of Justice has not shut these guys down.
sloppy job & incorrectly installed windows
I had most of my windows replaced recently in my home by Champion Windows. Many of the windows were installed incorrectly and the caulking job was horrific. I have never seen such a horrible caulking job. There is caulking all over the window sills and the drywall. And, their sales price of 30% to 50% off is not a sales price, as the windows are horribly marked up. I would advise that anyone going with Champion only pay with a credit card so that you have some leverage if work is done incorrectly. As I paid with a credit card, I disputed charges with my card holder and they are putting a hold on payment to Champion.

Truth about champion and the bbb
I made the mistake of working for this ripoff company for a short period of time. I left Champion and hit the afterburners in moving onto something else other then trying to sucker each customer into doing something that is not in there best interest. If your thinking about going to work for Champion or purchasing any of its products you should check...
Read full review of Champion Windows and 22 commentstruth about these crooks and the bbb
I have noticed that all the pro-champion employees that has be posting on this web site are not trying to defend these crooks lately. There must of been a mandate that came down from its corporate offices. You think?
All of you still working at Champion know that I do know way too much about this organization. I made the mistake of working for this ripoff company for a short period of time. I left Champion and hit the afterburners in moving onto something that is more professional then trying to sucker its customer into doing something that is not in there best interest and they got pissed of at me for that. So Champion has tried to screw me in the end.
If your thinking about going to work for Champion or purchasing any of its products you should check yourself and don't waist your time and look further at other offering instead of making that big mistake that you will most certainly regret. A lesion learned on my part but I was one of the lucky ones by getting out on my own terms. I found out that the local organization has been a revolving door and I now know why that is. It's not that I couldn't sell the Champion products. Its just I don't have to stoop to Champion levels to sell anything.
I seen numerous customers that entered into contracts with Champion and for one reason or another they wanted out and this organization just held its customers hands to the contracts even though there was not any product ordered for that customer order or that job. When the customers pushed any issues with Champion they just outright threaten the customers to how Champion would stop trying to work with them at all if the customer prosed any other actions. I knew that Champion could of canceled any order with its manufacturer but they would never back up on any sale as its all for the sake of a sale or profits.
I often wondered why there wasn't multiple issues that came up with the local BBB. How does Champion get away with treating its customers in the manner that I was witnessed too. Champion always brags about its BBB status but after working at Champion I know. Even local awards are given to this organization solely due to its local advertisement dollar. It is the ole mighty dollar at work here. Its just a self serving wheels going full circle. You would be surprised on what go on behind the Champion veil. I have seen other competitors have a F rating with the BBB and all the sudden they get a A+ rating so the BBB accredited program needs to be investigated as it is shell game that is for sure.
Its just A BIG RIPOFF for all involved so its just best to move on to another company that doesn't have to play games with its customer or its employees. One of these days Champion corporate might weak up and see that its time to make changes to its business model but it might be way to late as people do not like being ripoff by Champion.
Thank you,
buyers bewere
The consumer needs to beware that they can purchase products at a much lower prices without having to play the Champion windows, doors, siding and patio rooms sales games. I'm talking about the Champion that is based in Cini, OH
OK all of you Champion people. Let me ask you a question. What is the lowest book price for a standard white color vinyl replacement window that Champion sales? That plan and simple enough for you isn't it? I know your forbidding to answer so I will. The answer is $1, 240.00 for a small DH or a slider window that is under 83 UI. That price is without any other additional options like, grids, full screens, any other charges like trip charges, dump fees, additional labor charges etc that is added on top of that inflated Champion book price. WOW now that is really high mark up by any ones standards.
If any so Champion rep played his "Monty Hall" act and cuts his asking prices by a whopping 50% that lowest priced Champion window would cost you at least
$ 620.00 and its most likely is going to be somewhere between $800.00 - $1000.00 per window after all discounts have been applied. A consumer should be able to get an equal too or better quality product for about half of what Champion is trying to sell its products for. If your looking for a any type of door or siding products then just forget about Champion.
If a Champion rep has to sells windows at the "PAR" price or 50% off of the Champion book price then the only one that is losing money is the poor ole salesman?
Champion MFG really isn't losing anything. Its just the rep for Champion that is taking it in the hip pockets and Champion MFG still is making real bank on its the highly over rated and highly inflated priced products.
On the other hand If the salesperson is successful is selling the Champion products over the par price then the sales rep and Champion split the profits on a 30-50% increasing scale and between themselves. So do you think that a Champion rep has a incentive to pad any book price then your wrong. Yes they do pad the book price. The sales management and reps are just rewarded for selling over that par price otherwise the reps gets 5% of the par price sold. I had one of the Champions most successful sales reps tell me how he gets his overage and screws his customers. He went onto say that said the customer doesn't have a clue and how that was a good thing that Champion doesn't post it pricing or he would be screwed.
Ask any Champion rep how much is the lowest priced window and watch the Champion rep craw like a craw fish. They won't give you a straight up pricing answer. Champion is is set up so its sales reps can set up its customers for the BIG LICK. Have a great day...
sales tactics
This place is a joke... Champion offers a average window products but at a way over inflated book price then starts applying discounts of up to 50% off and then its all sales pressure to buy it now. But even at those so called discounted prices its a way to much price to pay. A jacked-up price with deep discounts is still a jacked- up price to pay. Seek out other estimates with a company that doesn't have to play those sales games with it customers in an attempt to pads its profits.
BUYERS BEWERE never sign anything within the Champion showroom that has the following contract addedums writen on it. 'Purchased in the Champion showroom using the customer supplied measurements and installation information. Customer agrees to pay any additional cost discovered during the factory measurement'... Showroom purchases are not solicited at your residents and are not subject to cancellation... That means the customer is on the hook for any addtional products or labor to complete the project. Champion will hold any down payments as hostage to hold any customer to its contracts.
Champion warranty is not worth the paper that it is writen on and is a load of crap.
Don't be fooled by those worn out sales tactics they use. Its not worth the hassel so you would be better off just seek out another contactor that can offer as good as quility of products or even better at a lower price then Champion. I would recommend the any of the following windows over the Champion products.

The composit windows may be the bomb up in the Northern regions But they are not holding up in the Southern regions. The sun is beating the hell out of the composits and they will bow, wrap, and discolor with in short time frames when exposed to sun. If you haven't got a .19 SHGC in the South its junk... I wouldn't be so quick to jump on the composit band wagon yet in which you already have. I hope your warranty covers discoloriation because your white windows could be yellow soon ... We will see in the long haul...
I had a salesman from Champion at my home. He told me to "help a guy out, I need my medicine". Turns out, he was the MANAGER (Mr. George) of the local office selling and found out he does not even get commissions, he is salary! Using the "help a guy out" pathetic tactic. I did not buy from them and I will never buy from a Company that allows this type of sales tactic. What a horrible way to do business, it says a lot about the Company to me. Deceitful. Shame, shame.
all those windows you listed are junk and i have replaced them all the time. they are made from wood or vinyl which will rot, bow, and warp, which result in alot of energy loss! i sell a window that is a compozit window which is an Expanded Polymer which is 400% stronger than any window on the market as of now, triple pane double low-e and a trigon mixed gas, Not Argon! U-factor is .21 and thats the whole window rating from NFRC NOT center of glass. the SHGC is .25 awesome window and even have them in my own home. ill never have to worry about windows ever agian.

Why does Champion fill a need to teach its sale team member to enploy these ole worn out 10 step low class used car lot sale tactics? Is it to try to suck as much as they can out of its so called valued customer? Consumers do have other alturnitives other then being disrespected by Champion... Good luck with that Champion
As I predicted before. Oh yeah your in sales, your funny... Now you say your not a Champion employee then why would care or even take the time to post here...IDIOT... I just made you mad that I have uncovered the CHAMPIONS 10 step patch men training program.
Its all just designed around a ole tin man presentation that is really old and is way out dated, like back in the 70's
The facts are if Champion reps was so professional they wouldn't have to using a 10 step selling program that is design to suck every last penny out of it so called valued customer. Why couldn't Champion just treat its customer with more respect and just ask a fair market price for it products much like most companies opperate. Why do you think that Champion has to stoops to such a low class used car sales tacttic anyway? Why is each customer subjected to its dog and pony show with all type of smoke and mirrors with it by the Champion robots. Do you think it could be to try to sucker it customers into paying way more then they should?... YES... 50% off a 200% mark-up is a JACK-UP price no matter how you look at it.
Hey here is one for you expert... You know when your jack-up retail price presentation is first presented to the customers and the sales are trained to just smile and shut-up and not say anything at all. You know "when the first person that say anything they lose" the sales game. I beleave you call " it peeling the customer off the ceilings" I would just kick yours rats ### out of my house for stupied sales crap like that.
amg123blue your just another Champion PITCH MAN and your really just a rat on his wheel running around in circles at Champion.
Stay turned more to come - Next I will expose the CHAMPION 10 step sales program in much more detail.
This should really just piss them off... lol lol lol
Watch for the Champion paid robot employees that know only what they are told to try to discredit my negitive posting as they have in the past... Buyer beware of Champion and its Used Cars sales tactics.

Update 2017. Had a sales rep from champion in my house and very disappointed. First, he pulls up in a 85 thousand dollar mercede's. This kid, he looked about 22, exits the car and walks towards me. He intoduces himself and then it all went down hill. Long story short, not your typical sales person. He was confrontational, spoke terribly about the other 3 companies i had out, and tried to make me feel like I didnt know anything. At one point, I asked him if he owned the company and he said no. I said the reason I asked that was because the way you are talking to me is surprising!
Mask,
If you do not ceased and desist, we will be forced to publicize those pictures of you caught in a rather compromising position with that goat. Is exposing our secrets really worth you getting exposed as a 'goat humper?' You've been warned.
Oh hell no, BARNEY is coming to get me and his going to throw away the keys away. I'm so scared of the evil Champion empire so I'm shaking in my boots. Hey you can just get in line with the rest of them as you just kicked a sleeping dog.
Look "light in your loafers" I'm only going to tell you this one time so listen up real closely as we know your slow and as dumb as bag of rocks. You can just take your orders, commends and your warnings and just shove them where the sun doen't shine. Fancy pants you can just set back and read um and weep as I planning to open up the Champion training manual and the ole price book and get to posting again. Here as clue for you, Who lives in a clam under the sea?
Google that a-s wipe...lol

Clearly, you're too clever for me, Mask.
I am now ordering you to stop writing negative comments about Champion, or suffer the consequences. We will find you.
Mr. Fancy pants we all see that you know all about the guy web sites. Your attempts to try to get any information from me won't work. Not now, not never.
A interview process at Champion, Now that is funny... Champion would takes anyone that walks though its doors and halfway had a faint pulse as that place is just a revolving door. I know of thirty sales people they went though within three years at just one of there location. Sounds like a really good place to work doesn't it? I'm sorry if your still working at Champion and my posting within this board is costing you some of your commissions but the consumer's need to know about being ripped off. You can't say you wasn't warned before you started your training at Champion to what you was getting into but you refused to listen. I guess some just have to learn everything the hard way so you got what you wanted. I never meet such a slow grade "A" [censor] such as this guy. He has no one to blame but himself for his actions.
" I REST MY CASE"
Mask Peanut
Wow, that has to be the 'gayest' thing one man has ever directed toward another man. Look Mask, they have other sites for people of your lifestyle; all you need do is provide a picture and a write-up. Perhaps they have a "Self-loathing, failed professionals who have latent sexual feelings for their own sex, Group." Just Google, you'll find something.
Just to be helpful:
'It's' not 'its;' 'tomorrow, ' not 'tomarrow;' and 'Fancy Pants, ' not 'Fancy Paints.'
Who was that hiring manager at Champion, again? That guy/gal needs to be reprimanded.
Oh its loafers I know
Fancy Paints I did that just for you as I knew it would just eat you up and you could stand it. Light in the loffers you might just have your icky sticky stinky panties in a wad as you really sound frustrated. Sexually frustrated so you might just need to go get tonight and just get plowed like an Iowa corn field so you might feel better tomarrow.
F--k off and Die

Sorry...I should have written: "if I, or any other contributor to this thread WERE actually a Champion employee, .." I'll accept any heat for that error.
Mask,
Please, this is now absurd. First, embrace your cowardice; even though you cannot be honest with the others that come to this board, at least be honest with yourself.
As to your last sentence: "By the way chicken [censor] is two word stuiped." First, you should have put a comma between the words 'way' and 'chicken.' Next, if you would have taken the 10 seconds to do a basic Google search, you would have found that '[censor]' is the appropriate spelling in the context that I used; please see the following link for just one example: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?defid=671694&term=[censor]. Lastly, I hope you can appreciate the irony of calling someone 'stupid, ' and actually misspelling the word; I know I did.
I now have to offer that you have succeeded in convincing me to take a bit of a negative view toward Champion. After getting an idea of your thought process, and intelligence level, as evidenced by your writings, I cannot believe that you actually got through a company's interview process. I'm being completely serious when I write that it is a complete shock that someone actually thought it would be a good idea to hire you to do ANYTHING; for crying-out-loud, you misspelled 'stupid.'
I'll offer this: if I, or any other contributor to this thread is actually a Champion employee, it would only be in our best interests for you to keep on doing what you're doing, Mask. Trust me, the more you write, the better Champion looks.
despective sales - pricing tactics
If you are looking for the cheapest windows then by all means dont bother with a real company like Champion. There are plenty of cheap window companies to sell you what you really want and then you can come on here and complain about them. Should you want a quality product at a reasonable price then give champion a call.
Hummmm Scott you are so correct when you say "don't bother" with Champion. What do you call resaonable price? Maybe a 200%- 300% mark-up is fair in your book. Then I got some ocean front property in AZ if you think that is reasonible...lol...
Champions whole selling model is so flawed. It is really is just like a USED CAR sales lot style if you ask me. Champion will not disclose any of its product pricing upfront. That should send a big red flag up of things to come with Champion. Champion will to send out ole Slick Willy the saleman and his going to try to get within your front doors and warn up with you to become your long lost friend. Then Silk is going to start asking quistions to try to get a handle of scope of your project as he should. Then ole Slick is going to tell you everything little thing about Champion and put on a great dog and pony show about his products or you. He is trying to get his customers emotionally involved with his sales presentation and make you want to own thwm. Then when ole Slick thinks his got you licking out of the plums of his hands then he is going to configure his highly inflated retail (book) price then his going to present that to you. Then he is going to just shut up and not say a thing and watch your reactions when you see his first offering. WOW You want what or what? The first offer should just rock you to your inner core. Then ole Slick is going to try to peel his valued customers back off of your ceilings by showing you ways you can afford his products and service. He might even offer you some huge discounts of say 30-50% if needed TO TRY TO CLOSE THE DEAL right now. These ole sales tactic are designed to bring the customers back and hopefully just meet somewhere in the middle of the road or a reasonible price? Even with a 50% percent discount of a way JACKED-UP price is still just some JACKED up crap. That ole "tin men " sales style went out way back in the 80's .
Champion just needs to quit playing those ole worn out sales tactics with its customers and then they might get some respect. Until then Champion is just going to have a low class used car sales apperance at best. Champion should just be upfront and just ask for a fair market value price for its products and service instead of disrespecting its so called valued customers with an attempt to suck every last drop of money out of them. Champion does not have the clean hands like some of its brain washed employees think. Just pass up on the ole slick willy dog and pony show and don't let him come into your home or you might just be the next sucker that pays to much. Good luck and nice try with that Champion...
It is just a trained sales ploy to set up the customers for astronomical priced fro a standard window quility by todays standards.

scammers and bullies
We were interested in getting a patio room added to our deck, so we visited the Champion showroom where we were pressured by a salesman to sign a contract a leave a substantial deposit that day. We added a condition to the contract that if our Home Owner's Association denied our request for a patio room, then our contract will be null. Also, the salesman told us verbally that if we changed our mind for whatever reason, at any time, our deposit would be returned to us as long as the job hadn't been started. Our Home Owner Association ended up denying the addition of a patio/sunroom, so we requested an immediate return of our $3, 000.00 deposit. It has been almost 2 years now that we have been trying to get our refund back. The president at Champion Windows of Atlanta has done everything possible to avoid refunding our money. His last correspondence to us was a suggestion from him that we get ourselves an attorney to help collect our refund. We feel that we have been ripped off and bullied.

completely agree for Champion RI
Really it is just a standard way of doing business at Champion... Yes, I used to work for Champion in another city but only for a short period of time and I seen this happen too many customers who want out of a contact even though the company has not ordered anything for there project. I seen Champion just out right lie and tell a customer they have ordered products for the customer order when they really haven't done anything to try to steal your their money. Champion wants to hold all customers hands to the fire as far as a contact but guess who wrote the contact that hold themself harmless. If you make a purchase in a Champion showroom you are just bar-b-qued as soon as the door shut behind you and they are experts at that. Champion makes you sign a contacts that says you can't back out of the deal but the salesperson can tell you anything to get you the sign the contacts and not be held accountible for his or her actions. It is just not a pleasant experance at Champion for an employee that is between two sides so I just decided to move on to something that is more professional. I would just get that Attorny and Champion can pay his bills as well. I really think that someone needs to file a class action law suit on Champion because thsi is stardard at Champion. Its really just a form of stealing so I have been posting to warn people not to get involved with Champion. Champion does do good work but as far as a sale organization its really unprofessional at best. Worked at Champion just reminded me of a movie called Used Cars. I would report them to the BBB and good luck with dealing them.
