I read a book about Chanel and I liked it a lot. She was a fantastic and strong woman. And her style and perfum are great. I use the last quite often.

I always order my foundation on chanel.com. The product comes in a beautiful Chanel box that is not available in stores. It also comes with a couple of testers. Great products and great service!

Not even to comment on the quality of the apparel, which is unquestionable, for the most part; one of my favorites is always Chanel.
Chanel.com is probably one of the most artistic websites online that you will see, period. Period. Go there and look.

To be clear, I was born and bred on Chanel No. 5... I have worn it since birth -- at my grandmother's behest. So, when I came of age, I indulged in the complete line of maquillage by Chanel. Last winter I found myself in need of new eyeliner pencil, but dreaded the experience of a trip to the mall -- oh the horror, right? So I took a chance on the Chanel.com online site. This was a wonderful experience. My new pencil was shipped free on charge, beautifully wrapped, with free samples of scents. It was a delightful experience... not to mention, I was spared a trip to the buzz-kill mall. Brava, brava, brava to you Madam!

I purchased a *********** bag early February in 2022 at the store
I purchased a *** bag early February in 2022 at the store. After 2 months, the chain turned yellow and looked totally different from the original one. I attach the photo that comparing it with a new *** bag. I believe it has the quality issue. Chanel told me that they cannot refund but can do the assessment and repair, which will take 5.5-7.5 months or more. I gave the bag to the store 10 days ago and then no updates. I don't think I should wait for more than half a year to fix Chanel's own quality issue. This purchase doesn't make any sense to me. I think refund is a good solution for me.

Broken made up powder
I bought a Chanel powder made up this May 2014. I'm currently using this item for years, but this new one was just new from May. I'm not using it often with just used 10-15 times, but the compact powder cracks itself days before. The Chanel powder keeps falling like sand, and spread allover to my other made up stuffs, to my handbag ! It made me so upset. I had called HK Chanel customer service to discuss and explain this issue and sent the broken compact . However, they have not apologized for new replacement. Instead, they just kept saying that their sold product will be only be changed within 14 days, and kept saying that i checked the powder before buying ! I really doubt what customer service is this, & how they judge thIs case. Even i bought from Shiseideo, Hogen, or Armani, these brand will never not to replace when valuable customers complaining their QUALITY PROBLEM even months later ! I was so upset

Travelling abroad I bought a pair of Chanel shoes. The logo felt off after 2 times i used it! Took it to the brand new store they opened at Sao Paulo, Brasil. They told me maximum 3 months due spare parts arrival I would get my shoes done...
Discrimination
I definitely have a complaint to lodge. There's definitely some discrimination going on in the stores. I live in Canada and as you know the espadrilles are completely sold out here. My mom went to Hong Kong and I asked her to get them for me. She called the stores and with luck, there was one last pair in my size, so she reserved them for me. She went to the store and they told her to wait outside in a line while some rich people from mainland China were busy shopping around in the store. Finally, they let my mom in and she asked if there were any left and the man told her rudely that there weren't any left. She went further inside the store and told a female sales associate that she had reserved one. The lady replied, "we do have one last pair left, but would we sell it to YOU?" Insinuating that she probably has better and richer clients that will pay top dollars for the last pair. Well, Chanel HK, I don't know what kind of black market [censored] you're running but that is total discrimination. This act definitely brings down the Chanel name. If your stores keep discriminating people like that, I definitely will never buy another Chanel product again and make sure that all my friends and relatives do the same. Word travels fast. I suggest you get to the bottom of this.

I visited your shop at ground floor, Harrods on 20 May 2013. I would like to buy a lovely bag to give my girlfriend as a birthday gift.
Unfortunately, I met an unexpected service from staff shop. On that day, I went there and there was an asia guy who is a shop staff came to normally serve me the information, so i asked him for the bag i looked for, then he gave me that the one i need so my girlfriend had a look this bag. Suddenly there was another shop staff, her name is Lin Kuo, came to say something with the shop staff who showed me the bag, and finally they didn't sell me the bag by the reason that is nonsense.
They took this bag to the back store and came to tell me and acting that this bag had no authenticity card, that was not true as my girlfriend had just seen the card. However they still confirmed that this bag had no card.
I decided to go to next zone of store that is nearby and I saw that there was the bag i need shows in the shop, so i asked shop staff to gave me the bag.
Suddenly, Shop staff namely Lin Kuo came to the staff that was serving me and told something. Finally she said that this bag was reserved by another customer even there were many pieces of this bag.
I am not sure that why this shop staff doesn't want to sell me the bag and did something that is tricky and nonsense to me. I feel unsatisfied and really not happy with the thing the shop staff treated me, so i would like to complain this shop staff namely Lin Kuo who is working at the harrods.

Rude employees
We had a very unfortunate event happen with a large number of your employees on January 21. Perhaps they do not realize that they represent Chanel when they are not in their little offices. We arrived onto the London to Swansea train at 8:45 in the morning to find a group of them sitting in our reserved seats at a table. When we politely explained that we specifically reserved this for the young children we had with us, they said that was too bad and someone had taken their seats. After they loudly announced that they could not believe these people would make them move, we gave up. They went on to invite other friends to take over the two tables, as they boarded the train. They were on their way to a program at Newport, Wales and sure were having fun...at the expense of others.
I would hope that the training programs at Chanel would have well thought out interpersonal training. Perhaps this group should go back through.

I've been surprised by the poor attitude of staff at two Chanel make-up counters in Dublin, Ireland. First off, I called to the Chanel counter in Brown Thomas, Grafton St about 3 weeks ago. I explained that I needed new foundation, was a fan of Vitalumiere, but had also tried Armani Maestro and liked it. I couldn't have handed a better "win the customer back to our brand" opportunity if I was trying. The staff member was quite perfunctory in dealing with me, she was definitely not going to seat me on one of those high stools, and test the shade along my jawline . She then proceeded to hand me samples from a drawer. The Vitalumiere sample was nicely packaged, but was completely the wrong shade for me - by about 2/3 shades. I've a good complexion, I'm 42, I was not a heavily made-up mannequin type, so there's no way I was looking for coverage like that. As a trained Chanel make-up and skincare employee, this should have been obvious to her. I also was given Perfection Lumiere which is for combination skin - I'm normal. What was the point of the above interaction? She basically gave a very strong indication that she wasn't interested in "encouraging" me to OF COURSE stick with Vitalumiere. Is this new Chanel policy? Not to spend time with a client who already is a fan of the product? Who is 5 minutes away from purchasing the product again with a little encouragement and affirmation? The counter was emphatically not busy - the staff seemed to be busy just being busy. I got a strong sense that this might be a top down policy, because staff treat customers as their leaders lead them to. And I would have a sneaking suspicion that they might be viewing a customer who maybe visits the counter twice or three times a year to stock up - as not really worth bothering with. I am an incredibly loyal customer - when something works for me, I stick with it for as long as it continues to. I've formed an attachment to the Shu Uemura girls in BT over the past 9 mths - they work their ### off to sort brows out, get your skincare on track, etc etc. And Bobbi Brown has been the same for me in the past. But Chanel? Very disappointed by such an "eminent" brand. I'll be doing Armani Maestro all the way from now on - you've lost 3-5 years of my custom, and as I get older, I like and invest in my little touches of luxury more and more. Chanel in Arnotts was worse. I approached that counter at 4.45pm last Friday. A mature Chanel employee was standing behind the counter, gift wrapping what looked like a small perfume bottle. I approached with the same foundation query; she didn't even look up from all her wrapping. There was a beauty counter colleague behind her who looked like she'd finished her shift, and they had been chatting as I approached. I had to interrupt them to get even verbal attention from the Chanel lady. She then proceeded to pretend that the other girl was a customer...who she was dealing with before me - patently, obviously, pathetically untrue. I asked her politely to actually look up at me and give me some attention, but she began to protest oh rather too much. I walked away feeling very let down, then walked back to say that her customer service was apalling, and that I would be bringing the matter to Chanel Inc for attention. I'm a born networker, and this poor customer service - twice! - will not go unremarked upon. What is Chanel going to do about this?

I approached one of the staff and she take it to me for a glance and told me to wait with an impatient tone, then she threw (not put) the wallet to the table very rudely, it was surprised me if it is a regular CHANEL’s way to serve a customer.
10 minutes later when I came back, another staff (see attached her name card) serve me with the same attitude, I asked to get a new one, she came out from back store few minutes later (at the moment, she took out the wallet from packing box without wearing glove, there is only 1 staff wearing glove while doing service!) and she threw the wallet also, she impatiently told me her glove has broken and no more spare at the shop. It is unbelievable that since the wallet has glossy surface and easy to get scratch, and she hasn’t alert that she has wearing a ring. I felt not being served but suffering. Anyway, I gave her my credit card for buying it, once again she told me to wait with that tone and disappeared to the back store with my credit card. Ten minutes later, she came out from back store and told me that my credit card has problem and asked for another. ……
I think I should stop to make purchase and mention that I will purchase when I back to Hong Kong. It’s so ridiculous the “Boutique Supervisor” presented service like this! I wonder how she can manage her teammates with this lower standard sales service.

I find it quite frustrating how when I am shopping at a Chanel store and am wearing causal attire; that people follow me like a hawk and give me dirty looks opposed to when I am wearing more expensive designer clothing. I find it embarrassing and very rude. The sales assistants did not even bother to ask if I needed any help and had the audacity to say "I assumed you were just looking" after I asked for they're assistance on finding the clutch I was looking for. What is going on with this company? Today - 16 february 2012 in NY staff didn't even bother to give me a bag for my pair of shoes that cost me $860! Just summer sandals! They are rude and arrogant and while I was buying my shoes the salesman was talking on the mobile...he was not very interesting in serving me.
