My experience was strange, because I booked flight f through the company www.cheapfareguru.com. I provided the card info, and they charged me. But I haven’t received the confirmation. Instead, I got the email, where they asked to provide the photo of my card. It wasn’t fair and secure, so I refused. I didn’t get the flight info, no money back and these people stopped to reply. I want my money back and that’s all. Please, somebody help me.

This is the worst website ever to book your tickets through. I have never come across such poor customer service, rude staff who does not care and has no clue what they are doing. I booked a airline ticket through their website and wanted to make changes, every time I called, the wait time was more than an hour. After picking up they said they would call you back since they are busy, and they never did. On telling them that they did not call back, their reply was we did and you didn't pick up. ( this happened at least 3 times)
My learning point is to NEVER use this website again.

they lied about flight cancellation
I booked two round tickets from this company, later found out I have visa problem and would like to cancel the flights. I called the agency many times, every time I was given a different answer. They tricked me into not cancelling or changing flights. They do answer emails, and put you on hold on the phone. In the end, I lost a lot of money. To me, they are shark, care about only their interests, not customers'.
I would NEVER do business with them anymore. Be careful of them. They are liars.

I used Air Tkt Guru.com to purchase tickets to fly on delta airlines, i also informed them of my frequent flyer miles # to insecure i would earn my miles actually flown, but when i checked my miles, delta says Air Tkt booking tickets are only worth 25% of the actual miles traveled on their bookings, i lost over 17, 000 fly miles on my round trip flight from Md to Manila . If your looking for a Cheap flight fares and not worried about fly miles, use them. If you are a frequent flyer and want your actual fly miles 100% credited, check around.

They told me that the cancellation fee is $20 per ticket, and later told me that it is $30 and even $40. When confronted, the man said, "did I really say that?" You shouldn't make mistakes like this if your job is to explain your policy to customers, and you shouldn't have an attitude with the customer because company doesn't explain the process very well. If you are in customer service, your job is to work with customers and help them, not yell at them because you can't explain your own policy.

Why did you buy the tickets if you still needed my credit card information in order to complete the purchase? He refused to scan or fax the tickets that supposedly had my information on them, and only gave me the confirmation number when I tried to look up the tickets on the airline website myself (which I shouldn't have to do, by the way, Cheap Fare Guru).
As of this review, I have completed the order without any hidden or wrongful charges. The agent promised that the charge for the tickets will remain the same without any hidden fees, but we will see, I suppose. I still do not recommend this company even to the worst people I know.

When it come to cancellation, its really painful work with this company ( tickets just bought for 2hrs)
After our flight was cancelled and we were rebooked economy and we had paid for Business class in another airline we were issued refund from airlines. The refund was issued to CHEAP FARE GURU. However several employees and five phone calls later no one had heard of us or the refund. I made several inquiries but they claimed they never got refunds. They are LIARS and crooks. DO NOT book with them.
they are not reliable. Airline agent told me that the itinerary cheapFareGuru provided is incorrect and gave me totally different itinerary which added more than 12 hours of lay over for international travel.
When I called them nobody lifts the phone even after waiting for more than 30 minutes. These folks are fraud. Never book with them.

I had bought an airplane ticket online from AirTkt Eros Tours and the shoppers advantage card was offered as a way to get a $20 rebate, which I have never received. All you had to do was pay a $1 fee for the service and could cancel it anytime within 30 days to not be billed each month. I called and cancelled this subscription within the 30 days, and two months later was billed for $16.99.

Do not even think to book a ticket from them. I had purchased my ticket from newark to kolkata(travel date is end of April) two months back.Till that time there was no issue since I had not interacted much with their customer service.Two Week before when I had to cancel my trip, I called them up asking the cancellation charge for my tickets. One of their customer service guy probably Ron told me that they would charge 300 bucks for the same.I did ask them to cancel my ticket yesterday, Paul told me that since this is none refundable ticket they would not pay me back even single penny for it if I cancel my ticket. When I fought with them Paul told me that they would confirm the same with Jet airline and do let me know the cancellation charge. So far I have called them 7-8 times and every time they told me that they have not receive any reply from Jet airline and ask me to call them after 2 hrs. I'm being felt so cheated that I can't explain.
Needed to cancel my flight. After calling for 3 days and either getting a busy signal or just hang ups I finally got in. After over an hour hold i hang up. Tried the chat - the person left the chat 3 times. It took close to 30 min and she just left the chat AGAIN without answering my questions. Honorable customer service. I will never use them again.
I had the same terrible experience.
When I called to cancell/change the ticket, everytime I call, I was told different charges for cancellation /change. Airline was charging just $300/ticket whereas I was told between $450 and $550/ticket that means $600+ more than legitimate charge on my 4 tickets.
When I disputed with bank, they made a duplicate charge on my credit card without my authorization using their other business name. Credit card company could not help because they were using different names on each transaction and it can not be claimed as duplicate.
When I tried to resolve the dispute by three way correspondence between their finance department, myself and my bank, they sent fraudulent and misleading response to my bank and tried to proof my ticket as non-refundable whereas by that time I already had received the refund from airline and I was just fighting to get the duplicate charge reversed. It took me 6 months to get the refund check from them and I had to pay my credit card bill in the mean time to avoid charges/interest. I feel totally ripped off! NEVER EVER USE THEM!
After booking with Cheapfareguru.com, make sure you check your credit card. I was charged twice, first charge is correct with my airline United, the other charge for the same amount to a company called Eros Tours Travel. I was able to get a contact phone# to Eros Tours Travel from my credit card but the number is disconnected. I called my credit card back and reported the double charge as fraud. Also trying to contact Cheapfareguru.com toll free number to report this but still waiting for someone to answers, I just get music. Also when you check for your Itinerary the email will not say Cheapfareguru but instead AirTket Guru...And finally, lucky I used my credit card with fraud charges protection.
I booked a ticket to go to china and i got an E-ticket, but i saw lots of negative review...will they cancel my tickets? I asked them if i can get my refund or not but they say no and i can only change my date, how can i get my refund ?.. I called them already however they also keep hanging up my phone for 3 times! Totally agree! They have the worst customer service ever... actually worst of the worst! I completed booking and received an email including my flight schedule, however I got a cancelation email few hours later... so I called them to double-check my flights. They are VERY rude and unprofessional. They even keep hanging up my phone. It's just UNBELIEVABLE.
I bought tickets to go to India, I don't know how, but my name is not listed accurately in the ticket, so I called them about it, to correct the spelling, first they asked me to send a scanned copy of my passport, then they are now saying I have to pay a fee of $75.00. I cannot understand that a simple spell check would cost me $75.00. I called Qatar directly and they will not help me too. What should I do?
Cheapfareguru cheated me too.. They told me that I can change my flight dates or cancel it but to change my flight dates they asked me the same almost same money for ticket I paid for.. they are definetely cheaters.. I need to find a official department to file complaint about them

We purchased an airline ticket and the agent confirmed by email a completely different itinerary with long layovers in SF and Beijing, China. They agreed to cancel the ticket but only after paying a $35 fee. Not an honest ticket seller.
They are indeed fraudulent. They hound for travelers who may face any kind of issue, one of the many ways they do it:
as soon as you make a bookinG the agent calls you these calls are seek information on your visa travel plans luggage all seemingly legit, as soon as they identify a loophole your booking ID is assigned to a certain set of Representatives agents so as to frustrate you when you're at the airlines and coax you into taking a cancellation or bumping up the prices tremendously... This is shady business...a few cheap fares given out to say 10 by squeezing out 100s of stranded passengers... So the harm done clearly out weighs they benefit a few receive... Like a casino house, like a lottery
