CheapTickets.com definitely a scam

Please stay away from this store, they are not to be trusted! Cheap Tickets is a bad site, they stole my money and there's nothing I can do to get my money back. I have already spoken with them so many times but they simply didn't care.
After I paid I didn't receive any confirmations and also didn't get my ticket so I contacted them to ask what was going on and they said that they did not had any reservation under my name. But they took my money! They even denied that and claimed they never charged me! This is a scam, please beware and don't book with Cheap Tickets!

CheapTickets.com fees

I booked a flight with CheapTickets and had a terrible experience. The worst thing about this site is that they have many hidden fees and most extra services cost additional money. There is no information about that on their website, and you get to know about these fee only when you really need something. I made a mistake and asked them to fix it and was told that I need to pay! Then I thought that it was better just to cancel my booking and there was another surprise - that also cost money!
Their rep said that all the information was on their website and everyone was able to check it. Well, I checked and found nothing! I paid for cancellation because I thought that it was better to get rid of them as soon as possible to avoid any possible fees. I will not use this site!

CheapTickets.com this cheap tickets is nothing but scam!!

I am extremely disappointed with Cheap Tickets! I bought a plane ticket via their website and their rep said that I'll get my ticket via email. I waited for several days and there was no sign of my ticket.
I contacted Cheap Tickets and their rep said that ticket was sent to me and told me to check spam mail. I checked everything and gave them few extra day and nothing!
Then I asked them to cancel my flight and they said that there was no way to do that. They said they were only able to change date for additional payment and that's all. Never again!
This Cheap Tickets is nothing but scam, do not book with them!

CheapTickets.com change tickets

On Dec. 5, 2016 I called Cheap tickets to change 2 round trip tickets from FAT to PDX, from Jan. 3 – 7, 2017 to Feb. 10 – 13, 2017. I read on your web-site that there would be a $125 fee for each ticket and I was willing to pay $250 for the change. The first person I spoke with was very difficult to understand but he did confirm the $125 change fee. I was then transferred to a woman who proposed the Feb. 10th flight to PDX, stated that the fee would be $250 for the two tickets and that they were not changeable or refundable, and I had to book this departure flight before she could book the return flight. After I agreed to book the flight she told me that the return flight would be $204 for each ticket because Alaska Air would not allow round trip tickets to be changed as round trip tickets but had to be booked as one-way. At this point I was told my original flights were no longer available, that I would be billed $250 for the departure flights, and if we wanted to return home from PDX it would be an additional $409.
I was mislead, then had a gun put to my head and left with no choice. The original flights cost me $612 and our new flights cost me $659.
As of this writing we will no longer due business with either Cheaptickets or Alaska Airlines.

Contemptuously,

I always use this service to get cheap flights https://lowcost.club/ . And with it I have never had any problems. Morever, it's the cheapest engine I've ever used. It's without any extra effort to find a flight you need. Try to use it too. Take care

CheapTickets.com error on booking side

Hi, I booked a ticket for 10th April from Boston to New Delhi and back on the 17th. The lady confirmed the ticket for these dates, booked, money went from my account. After few hours, I got the internary by email for 7th April from Boston to to Delhi and back on 17th. I have no idea how she managed 7th of April. The call was made at 10.55 am on 16th August 2012. Later I called and I was on hold for long and the total call took 1 hr 35 min wasting my money and time. And then someone said they will change the ticket with 310 dollars worth. Why should I pay for someone else's fault. You can trace the original call at 10.55 am on 16th August 2012. The call was from my cell [protected]. So, now if I want to travel on my travel dates I will have to pay for some one else's fault. Or else, I have to disturb my schedule. Absolutely no sense. I want you to take serious action on this and compensate.

CheapTickets.com no refund for bad hotel experience

I checked into my hotel in LA paid for through CheapTickets.com. When I got to my room I noticed no Electrical outlets. I have a spinal implant with a remote that requires charging. I went to the desk to ask for another room with outlets and they told me the rooms were all the same. I asked for a refund and they told me I had to get it through CheapTickets.com. I went outside to call CheapTickets.com and they called the front desk. The told me that the hotel said there was an electrical outlet underneath/behind the bed and that I could "crawl under the bed to plug something in". I told Cheaptickets that I was handicapped and could not bend or crawl. They basically told me they would not refund since the Hotel would not approve. They refused to give credit for another hotel or anything! I went back to pack my things and check out and noticed that my belongings had been gone through. I reported this to the front desk and they just laughed. No Assistance from Cheap Tickets.com - don't book through them!

CheapTickets.com false advertising and unable to do what they said

I booked a flight for 9 seats through an agent from CheapTickets.com on the phone 3/10/2011 with their advertised price of 339.30. I received an e-mail confirmation and a confirmation number. In that e-mail confirmation it specifically said, and I am coping and pasteing the exact line...

"Your flight is confirmed. The airline will assign seats at check-in or you may choose seats."

On the next morning, I logged into my account with them and clicked on "My Trips" only to get a response that I had none. I called and was told that the reservation was cancelled. I went through chain of command all the way to manager. They ended up telling me that I would have to write a letter to their customer relations department for any further communication. The bottom line was that they falsely advertised the price and they could not honor it. The language in the e-mail of the flight confirmation should have been enough for them to honor the price they advertised. Please be aware of these practices...

CheapTickets.com bad service

During the past year my companion and I have been touring Europe in preparation of writing a cheap travel guide. Planning our return trip home to the USA we booked 2 tickets from Madrid Spain to Cancun Mexico on Cheaptickets.com flying Air Europa. Air Europa's published baggage fees are as follows: 1 50lb bag per person with 1 carry on and 1 personal item. The first additional bag weighing no more than 50lbs is 60 Euros ($80 American). Upon arriving at the airport we were informed that Air Europa would not be the airline we had agreed to fly on and we would be traveling on an Iberworld flight. However the baggage fees for Iberworld are far different than Air Europa's. Iberworld has a strict 1 bag only policy per person with no additional bag options. Their policy for anything over 50lbs is 10 Euros per kilo. Since my companion and I had a total of 4 checkable bags 2 computer bags and 2 carry ons our excess baggage fees were 580 Euros. Unable to reason with Iberworld because they claim it was Cheaptickets responsibility to inform us of the changes they refused to budge on the prices or honor the agreement we entered with Cheaptickets.com. Needless to say we paid the fees however they drained our bank accounts because 580 Euros is like $800 American. We are now stuck in Cancun Mexico because we cannot afford to pay for transportation out of the country. Having only $12 left in our joint account we are unable to purchase anything. We are 48 hours without food and only a prepaid room until Tuesday. Also we face possible jail time because begging/pan handling in Mexico is illegal, however starving and being homeless in Mexico is not an option either. I have repeatedly contacted Cheaptickets.com in hopes that they would do something like send a food voucher to one of their partner hotels restaurant but they have neglected to do anything stating they are waiting to talk to a supervisor. I'm very scared and have contemplated suicide as has my companion. If we had family to turn to for money we would but as it is we both come from very poor backgrounds and this trip was a lifelong dream perfectly planned out. However we are now in dire straights. I guess I only write this complaint in case something happens to us I'd like a record to demonstrate that I did in deed reach out for help.

CheapTickets.com scam

Two months ago Cheaptickets offered me an up0grade on my lifetime membership and offered discounted airline tickets, hotels, and a cruise.
They charged my credit card $108 .They said the packet would be delivered to me within two weeks. I called them at least five times within the past two months to find out where my travel packet was. They gave me the run around. First, they said the packet was on its way; the second time they said it would take an additional two weeks; the third time they said there were errors in their documents but I should receive the packet by the end of June; the fourth time they said they had the wrong address; and the fifth time they again said it was on its way. The company is in New Jersey and I live in Maryland, it shouldn't take a week to get mail delivered! The company is made up of scam artist who are out to get your money. Con't trust them at all! They are made up of liars and cheats.Alos their customer reps are rude and agrue with customers.

CheapTickets.com this company is very unprofessional and unethcal

This company, is very unprofessional, unethcal and surely does not care to resolve any mistakes that they make with the customer. They are rude and unethical, even when they make a mistake. The canceled our tickets did not care about their mistake, or want to recognize, in addition they all had diffrent information, were combative and basically blew us off like we di not matter as clienst. In addition, they supposely made an attempt to verify information to our credit card company, but, they never called just attempted, but did not hesitate to charge our credit card a $20 fee to our credit card. In addition, they do not have a 1800 number for customer compliants, only a PO BOX, what! I will be writing to their company, and making sure everyone knows via every avenue I can media included, how CHEAP TICKETS, only wants money, does not care about servicing their so called customers.

I agree and will never use cheap tickets again. I have not even taken my vacation yet.
They billed me twice for airfare.
Once through United and once through delta. I guess they found a cheaper rate so changed it to save money.

So they billed me twice for 1920.00 dollars each time

I
have 1800 credit left after the first charge. The second charge made me 108.00 dollars over my limit. The denied they made a mistake, denied they ever billed united on my card.

it was the exact amout and only 2 minutes later. I only used them and never gave my card to any other travel site.

I went to get gas on my way to work and my card was denied.

I knew i had 1800 limit left so what gives.

After 3 hours of calling cheap tickets who told me to call united who told me to call the bank who told me to call cheap tickets and so on and so on. I finally got it worked out and got gas and was late to work Discover card is who corrected the mistake for them not cheap tickets
I then called cheap tickets to complain and the represenative told me there was nothing she was going to do to help me.
I said fine Ill blog you guys and let everyone know about this and she said! quote "ok your not the only customer we have". WOW! Im taking my trip because its to late to book someone else and to expensive to cancel but will never use CHEAP TICKETS. COM again.

CheapTickets.com avoid cheap tickets at all costs, you will be sorry

Be very careful when booking with cheap tickets online. their system billed me twice for the exact same person flying twice on the exact same date and time. when contacted to refund the duplicate they refused saying both tickets were used.impossible, it was the same person, same name and same time.they refuse to take responsibility for their system.their response was contact the airline for a refund even though cheap tickets billed my credit card. after a year, yes 1 year of haggling with cheap tickets, the airline re-imbursed me the double charged amount. cheap tickets would take no responsibility, nor compensate me for wasting my time. I had great success with other online airline ticket sites. avoid cheap tickets at all costs, you will be sorry!

CheapTickets.com bad service

TLG*GREATFN they charged my account for the past few months. I have been paying $13.99 every month ever since I bought airline tickets online from cheaptickets.com. I didn't figure it out till I checked my account online this month. When i called the TLG*GREATFN "company" their stand by associates were acting like it is a legit company with an actually purpose. They also asked if i want to cancel my account! WHAT ACCOUNT i did not sign up for any scams so therefore i don't have an account! I didn't order a service from them for them to be charging me $13.99 for about 5 months. Now that is what I the companies your giving business to you are selling you out! That is not right and I think this company should be sued by everyone it is hurting!

I bought a ticket for my son through Cheaptickets.com and my son had the worst time in traveling, first the Egypt airlines flight from Beirut to Egypt was at 12.45Pm they changed the time to 9 Pm so he had to wait at airport from 10Am to 9PM, then at Cairo airport he waited about 18 hours and he had a lot of bad time there because of not caring for his checked in luggage, he had to search for them and take his bags by himself to the right place and made him pay 150 Euros for travel changes, they told him that he has to contact ticket provider for these problems, I contacted Cheaptickets customer services but they said that they might not be able to do anything but the'll try?this was the first and last time that i take a ticket thru Cheaptickets.com and i will make sure to tell everyone about his ordeal because it was really a hell time and no one can explain it but himself, so here i am writing so everyone knows what to expect at some airports.

CheapTickets.com misrepresented airline tickets

Cheaptickets readily took my money for a flight that had no seats.
>we were left standing at the gate at midnight at lax as the plane pulled away without us.
Cheaptickets offered a medley of double talk re our "riddle" ticket being confirmed, but the airline not offering "confirmed seats" at the time of sale.
Cheaptickets refuses to own up to the fact that they sold me tickets for which there were no seats...What good does that do us ?...If i wanted to fly standby, i would have done that from the beginning...Why the h don't they tell people up front that there may no be seats and we can decide weather or not to proceed or move on to some other arrangements...Like i have done from now on..Never use cheaptickets or their mother company orbitz ever again.

CheapTickets.com horrible customer service

I am very unhappy with the level of service that I received from Cheap Tickets.

On April 8, I booked a roundtrip flight on their website. Today that flight is listed at $200 below the price I paid. While I understand that prices fluctuate, I also know that changes can be made to even non-refundable tickets.

When I decided to call customer service for help, I could find no phone number listed on their website. I used yahoo search to help me find the number to call. This is ridiculous.

My first call lasted 45 minutes. The woman was not helpful at all and hung up on me with no explanation.

The second call I spoke with two other customer service representatives. I was on the phone for over an hour. When I hung up, my problem still was not resolved.

I am extremely disappointed in the way I was treated. I have used both Travelocity and Expedia in the past, and have never experienced anything like I have in dealing with this company...even when we had to make changes to a non-refundable ticket.

I booked a cruise with CHEAPTICKETS and have been ripped off! I booked during a promo with $100 promised on a balcony cabin and I am NOT getting what i was promised! I have tried numerous times to find out where my on board ship credit is and when it is coming only to find out that my cruise for next week will be a sinker due to the fraudulent misrepresentation of CHEAPTICKETS!

I have booked and purchased an air-flight ticket through travelnow.com (cheaptickets.com).

A day later they have called me to confirm the purchase.

The ticket ended up to be a ticket with restrictions (travel dates coundn't be changed).

They have ommited to mention this either during the booking process, or on the eticket or

during the call they had with me.

When i have brought this up with them they refused to take any resposability.

On January 10th, 2017, I purchased a vacation package from Chicago to Cancun to take place between March 24th and 28th. On the morning of March 24th, my boyfriend and I arrived at Midway Airport at 4am, two hours before our flight to Atlanta was scheduled to depart. We had, in our hands, our confirmation email from Cheaptickets.com with seat assignments as well as paper tickets sent to us by the company. You can imagine our concern when the Delta employee handed back our tickets and told us, “You have no reservation with us. Your reservation has been canceled. I cannot help you.” The next nine hours were spent waiting at Midway airport, making phone calls to cheaptickets.com customer service, the airlines, and our hotel. We learned that all other flights (Atlanta-Cancun, Cancun-Charlotte, Charlotte-Chicago) and our hotel reservation were intact. However, without a flight to Atlanta or another flight to Cancun, we would lose our entire vacation. We were hopeful that Cheaptickets.com would do everything in its power to get us on another flight to Cancun, but nothing of the sort was done. We also learned from Delta that this reservation had been canceled by Cheaptickets.com on the same day the package was purchased (January 10th). This was obviously very distressing news.

We spoke with a total of 15 customer service representatives on March 24th, all in attempt to rectify this situation and get to our vacation destination. Instead of providing assistance, we were often put on hold for up to an hour at a time, disconnected, or simply transferred to another Cheaptickets.com employee. The end result was our being told that we could not be put on another flight. We never even received an explanation as to why Cheaptickets.com employees canceled this reservation.

I am now receiving harassing phone calls from an employee of Cheaptickets. She claims that I will find MYSELF in "financial trouble" if I do not send back the original airline tickets to Cheaptickets. This request is being made 4 months after the vacation was to take place.

CheapTickets.com overcharged

I booked a multi destination flight to New Zealand and to Australia and Cheaptickets.com had multiple different options for the days that I wanted. I booked, they charged me and then 2 days later I got an E-mail saying that it could not be validated. Naturally I called them to adjust the flights or find something that would work and they found something...for twice the price. It went from $1355 to $2400, the whole reason was because the flights I had chosen had 'too short' of a layover for an international flight. After wasting an hour on the phone with them the customer service rep finally said she found something for $1500 she gathered my card information and put me on hold for about 20 minutes. When she came back she said that wouldn't work either. So an hour into the conversation I gave up and told them to cancel the whole thing out. 4 days later I still didn't see the refund at my bank, I had to call cheaptickets and have them con call my bank to get the bank to revers the charge. All in all the system the use is not very accurate and just caused a pain and a huge waste of time. I would highly recommend NOT using them if you want it to be easy. Just go directly to the airline you will most likely get the same price.

CheapTickets.com no refund

I purchased a ticket in March of 2008 and had to cancel my flight on April 29, 2008. (# AP270301WVG6K68K) I was told by a representative from cheap ticket that I would be receiving a refund for my cancelled flight in "1 to 2 billing cycles (30-60 days)."It has now been 9 months, and I have not received any refund. I have contacted Cheap tickets approximately 15-20 times and have been given the run-around all this time. I found out today from Taca airlines that no refund has been requested. In addition, I was told by Taca airlines that Cheap Tickets was the party who was responsible for refunding me the ticket price. I was told be several customer service agents for Cheap Tickets that the airline was responsible for refunding me and that there supervisor (Cheap Tickets) were working with my account. Every time I would call Cheap Tickets I was place on hold for many minutes and up to 1 to 2 hours on hold at a time while Cheap Tickets personnel supposedly contacted Taca airlines to find out the "STATUS" of the refund. I was then placed on hold again while the representative talk to her supervisior (Cheap Tickets ) then I was subsequently disconnected and had to call back again. I do not believe this was an accident. I believe I have been given the run around for the past 9 months. I have spoken to Cheap Tickets representative and supervisors which some of their names are Apple, Allen, Paul Marcello, Oliver and Anna. I am now despaired of ever gaining satisfaction and receiving my refund of more than $500.00 as I was told by Cheap Tickets Representative.

CheapTickets.com have not received my refund after 4 months

I agreed to a "trial" membership and was asured that I could cancel within 3 days and no charges would appear on my credit card (8/26/08). 8/27/08 I called and cancelled the offer and again was assured that I would not receive any charges... 8/26/08 charges appeared on my credit card... I called and was told that I would not receive any refund until I returned the documents... I immediately retuRed the documents when I finally received them and received confirmation from the post office that the company received the documents. I keep calling and the message I get is "my refund is being processed" 4 months later...still have not received my refund.

Now I only get a recorded message when I call.

THIS IS FRAUD!

CheapTickets.com I was given misinformation which resulted in me losing over $600

I would just like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service from Cheaptickets.com.

I had canceled a flight reservation last year to Seoul due to unexpected family issues. I had talk to a Cheaptickets.com customer service representative who told me that all I had to do to re-claim the credit from that original purchase was to call and book a new flight by June 18, 2017.

However, when I called on June 18, the rep from Cheaptickets said they no longer had access to my account and told me to call Asiana directly.

I called Asiana and they told me that I was supposed to have flown by June 18, not book the ticket by this date which the rep from Cheaptickets told me. On top of this, Asiana would be charging $200 for cancellation.

I called back Cheaptickets and after explaining my situation to the first rep, he told me he couldn't help me and had to transfer me to the international department. So I had to explain my story again, and this time the gentleman told me that it was "clearly advised" to me that I should have flown by June 18. On top of that, he said that this was a non-refundable ticket! So on top of all that's happened, I cannot even get my money back.

Wow, I had good experience with Cheaptickets up until now. I was given misinformation which resulted in me losing over $600. On top of that, you make me wait ridiculously long on the phone.

Just sorely displeased.

I needed to change my flight from Seattle back to Cleveland by one week. I called on Aug 18, 2017 and they said that there were opening for the 26th and 27th for the $400 fee for changing the flight. That is $150 per person for cheaptickets.com fee and $50 per person for united airlines fee. Two of us equals $400. The lady from India I was talking to told me there were plenty of flights open on 26 and 27th for only the $400 fee. I called back on the 19th and the new person from India stated that all the prices went up within the last 12 hours. On the 27th it would now cost me $900 per person and the following even sept 1, 2, or 3rd would cost $900 per person. He said prices are going up as we speak. The 26th of Aug would cost $638 total for both people. I kept asking him to recheck and I would take anytime and any day. I asked why it costs so much more then what I was quoted 12 hours before. He only said prices change minute to minute. All five days that were available 12 hours before were now gone and my last remaining choice is now $638 more. Not counting that I already paid $775 for the original flights and they get to sell my other one-way ticket to someone else for $638, so they made double the price. I took it.

Then I checked with United and I could fly on Sept 1, 2 or 3 for $191. Per person. My total would be $362 total if I would have just bought from United directly. Instead I paid $638. And if I had bought for Sept 2 then I would have paid $1, 800 from cheaptickets.com. I called and the next person stated that I paid $238 too much, but he couldn't do anything. Then I got to talk to a manager. He said that the person that sold me the ticket was correct. I agreed to the price, no matter if it was incorrect or not. He listened to the recording of the conversation between me and the agent that sold me the ticket. He said unless I stated that I wanted an overnight flight he couldn't give me a refund. I told him that I said I will take anytime over the two-week period, whatever is cheaper. He came back and said the agent stated that 11:55 was open and I said I would take anytime next week or first week of Sept. The manager said that 'anytime' could mean any day, not time. So the agent could believe that I only wanted 11:55 am. Then he said that the agent could have thought that I only wanted the same price as mine, not anything cheaper because I did not ask for it specifically. This is because on the recording I stated that I only wanted to pay for the $400 fee and see if there was anything out there that was the same price as my original tickets so I would not have to pay anything more. He said that there was something out there cheaper my original airfare price and since I did not state that I would take a ticket that was even lower then that then the agent would not know that I wanted something cheaper then my original price.

So I asked him to give me all my money back and they could sell my seat and make profit and I could pay for a cheaper price directly through United. He would not. I asked for my $238 back, which I paid over what I should have. He said he could not, even though I had called back just 4 minutes after the transaction took place. I had just found out that there was a mistake but they did not want to help me.

So they blackmailed me out of the money by stating all the prices were going up as we spoke and now there was only one day left that was $638 total-and everything else would be $1800 total. The price jumped up that much in 12 hours, so I was afraid not to take it. I thought if I called back the price may be more or not there at all. If anyone is out there that is going to sue them please let me know.

Also I am an Emergency Medicine Resident. Contrary to what people think we don't get paid much during residency. We only get $42, 000 per year and most of us have $300, 000 in student loans that we have to pay off-not like thirty years ago. I have to pay $2300 per mo in student loans. So every penny counts right now.

Ok, thank you for listening.

I am trying to use a credit that I have from Cheaptickets. They tell me that they can not help me. I have talked to four different agents on the phone and talked to their supervisor. All persons told me differenet information. They all refused to listen to what I was asking. The supervisor was the most rude person I have dealt with and finnaly they refused at all to deal with me, transfering my call to the airlines that the reservation was made from. Cheap Tickets yes and cheap attitudes to go along with it. Never should any customer be subjected to their type of support.

This online agency really knows how to screw things up. Bought round trips to Florida from NYC and was unable to get record locators from the airlines. Turns out cheaptickets bought the tickets but didn't actually complete the booking. That's about as much as I can understande before my knowledge of airline booking ran out. Eventually and after hours on the phone with the airlines and cheapotickets they corrected the problem, but what a pain!

Hope when we show up to the airport they're actually flights.

My checking account is suddenly being charged 11.99 for a supppoed deal with great fun on discount deals that i supposedly signed up with when i booked my last vacation with cheapticket.com. I called them and they gave me a speech and a confimation number that it was canceled but checking my account its still on there. My sister said that they did the same to her and they never stopped for 6 months taking 11.99 out of her credit card account. If you google tlg great fun it shows that they are taking advantage of everyone and i would appreciate some help stopping these low lifes in what they do.
Sincerely,
Troy skow

First of all, i hope that the owner of this company know about what is going on in his company! the customer survice are unprofessional and they are not willing to help as their work require. Since i bought my ticket, 2 airline changes happened. My flight is international so i have to consider time betwenn connection, they left me with less than 40mn connection time! they refused to change my flight and they refused to find me a solution? is this what they are hired to do? anyway, i cancelled my reservation and asked for a refund! After looking to many complaint websites, i discovered that all customers complaint about not having their refund! Am waiting for my refund so that i can buy another ticket, i need to go home urgently this summer! please who ever read my complaint from the company, please ensure that they issue my refund! And I suggest for the owner of this company to have a committee that review complaint websites out of customer service people!

CheapTickets.com scam charges!

I booked flights on cheaptickets.com. After returning from the trip, I noticed a charge on my credit card for travel insurance. I called the company 'access america' to dispute the charge. They explained that as of dec 3, you have to opt out of paying for travel insurance when booking on cheaptickets.com and could not issue a refund over the phone. I emailed the company and was promptly refused.

I emailed cheaptickets and they referred me back to the the insurance company. I saw no mention of travel insurance. I never buy it. This is an abuse of my credit card information. Its theft.

They will never get my business again.

Cheaptickets.com failed to update me when the airline I was booked on changed their flight time. Missed my flight.

Cheaptickets looked up my itinerary when I called them about this and told me 'We have you leaving at 1:30am March 30th', which was the incorrect time (apparently, the airline had changed that a few months ago to 11:45pm the day before). So cheaptickets did a little research and found that indeed the airline had changed flight time.

When I asked for compensation for their mistake, they tried to claim that they sent me an email informing me of the update... guess what, they were wrong again: they said 'we sent you an email on Nov 9 about the change', to which I replied 'well guess what, I hadn't even bought the ticket yet on Nov 9 but I do have an email from you on Nov 22nd that I leave at 1:30am March 30 (i.e. the wrong schedule!)'.

So they said they would give me a $30 voucher redeemable from cheaptickets.com.

I think they can stuff that voucher up their behind because I'm never using cheaptickets.com ever again... and if you decide to go with this company for your flights... make sure you at least double check with the AIRLINE about flight changes because cheaptickets, secondary to their incompetency, will just continue to give you the wrong information... and try to say it's your fault.

They refused to give me my money back after I canceled at the hotel face-to-face, the manager of that hotel Chanchal P. said I would have my money back if I deal with the company that I reserved it in. When I contacted the company, the hotel manager completely refused to refund MY MONEY, even when I canceled in advance, and then she sold the room to someone else, right in front of me! So in a way she is stealing my money and getting from the other person who used those rooms.

CheapTickets.com pitiful customer service

The following is an e-mail that I sent to every cheaptickets.com e-mail address I could find. (if you know any others, please let me know.)

We spent three hours on hold on tuesday the 29th of may trying to change the return leg of my mother's existing flight. After that time they took the info (including new e-mail address), credit card info for price difference, etc...

On wednesday the 30th of may I called back, since we had not received a confirmation e-mail, and spent another hour and a half trying to get the guy on the other end of the phone to understand what I wanted. I do not have anything against someone in another country... I have a problem when they can not understand me and vice-versa and it is wasting my time trying to make them understand! I have a problem with cheap tickets saving theirs dollars by wasting my time!

I resent cheap tickets for not giving me an easier way to reach someone in this country that I can communicate with when needed. Not only could I not understand the two reps, but I could not communicate with their supervisor or the "special" department I was sent to either! (the "special" department was needed since I was trying to do something out of the ordinary, like confirm a ticket change.)

Please understand I will not use cheap tickets again or recommend you. I was perfectly happy with orbitz before and was lured, not by "cheaper tickets", but by a better schedule. I will take the red eye from now on if it means I can use orbitz and not your company.

If you ignore customers complaints long enough, they will eventually stop...

I purchased tickets and the insurance policy for flights for three from Milwaukee to Kansas City. I found out later that our third party could not come due to work purposes, and we also needed to go a day earlier. We called cheaptickets, and told them we purchased the insurance, and we informed them that we needed to make a change in our plans. They told us that it would cost us an additional $2000 even to do so. We felt that this was an unfair cost, and we have chose to purchase our tickets elsewhere and we saved $1900.

On return trip, we needed to return earlier, so once more, we called cheaptickets. Apparently, we had to state that it was an emergency change (life threatening). We, at that time, verbalized our complaint with costumer service at cheaptickets. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN!

P.S. we did purchase tickets from the airlines at an additional cost.

I've had recent issues with Cheaptickets showing one fare for a search and then when you press buy the ticket jumps hundreds of dollars! It's not like the airlines changed anything between the time I searched and clicked buy - that's always a possibility, but I performed the search several times over several days, so in this case it's not a possibility!

I'm actually replying to tell you not to use Orbitz.com either - they're actually the parent company of Cheaptickets.com, so they're the bad guys, too!
