Chicken Express placed order

The young lady who took my order was very rude for the start of placing..she never greeted me just asked me what I wanted to order...even tried joking with her to lighten up..while placing order she cut me off and asked could I hold..only to come back and ask me to repeat the order all over again..but whn I asked did she not remember anything I said..she repeated my order..when at the window the young lady never acknowledged me..passed me a drink that she was wasting as passing..the whole experience was awful..and whn I called to speak with Manager the call went unanswered after several attempts..

Chicken Express rude service

I took my son to the Chicken Express in Mt. Pleasant, Texas where I could spend time with him. We got in the store at 9:40 PM and paid for our food. After getting our receipt and drink cup we could not get tea because the tea station was already taken apart. I then asked of we had time to eat and was told yes by the employee. We got our food and less than five minutes later that same employee said, "Were closing". I then asked if he was kicking us out and he said, "No and I'm not trying to sound rude but, eat fast". I got a to go box and left. Just thought y'all might care.

Chicken Express Formal complaint regarding the chicken express franchise in red oak texas.

To whom it may concern
Please accept this letter as a formal complaint regarding the Chicken Express franchise in Red Oak Texas.
My daughter has submitted her resignation and I feel it is incumbent on me to point out why and to help you avoid potential lawsuits in the future.
It has been brought to my attention that there is an older gentleman who is currently employed at your store who has repeatedly attempted to entice the underage female staff to engage in sexual acts. This is blatant and unacceptable harassment. It is my understanding that management's response to this activity has been to simply inform the employee to get back to work.
Be aware that by not addressing this unlawful harassment, management is giving their tacit endorsement and could be ultimately held responsible.
It is unfortunate that my daughter's first job experience had to be made so uncomfortable by Chicken Express' un-supervised employee and management's reluctance to address the issue headlong.
Regards,
Amanda Balderas

On January 16, 2019 I received cold tenders for the 2nd time at the chicken express located at 904 W. Eldorado Pkwy. The first time it occurred the individual responded by promptly providing me with a hot fresh order replacement. However, the 2nd time the employee was combative. He stated, "I just barely cooked those!" Surely they wouldn't have been...

Chicken Express cleanliness/raw food

My son and I went to Chicken Express in Bowie TX last night for dinner. The place needed a good cleaning, there were empty tables that needed wiped off and there were very few customers in there so the employees had no excuse for this. Also, after my son and I had ordered I hear the people sitting at the table beside me return their chicken because there was a hair cooked into the batter of their chicken and also they returned the gizzards because they were raw! Keep in mind that I myself had ordered gizzards. Now I'm scared. When I get my food delivered to my there is a large black crusty item mixed in with my gizzards. The girl says to me oh I wonder what that is ? She is the manager there and served me this. Needless to say I did not eat the meal that I payed for and my sons mashed potatoes looked like soup. I will never go into this establishment again and waste my money. I am a single mom trying to make ends meet and it hurts that I threw money away on this kind of service and product.

Chicken Express customer service

This has happened many times. I complained about it months ago, but I am tired of going through this. On a number of occasions I have gone in to buy the leg and thigh special on Mondays, and the chicken was not ready. Sometimes the excuse would be "it'll be ready in 11 minutes" or "it'll be ready in 15 minutes". Of course the wait is always longer than they say it will be. This happens at least half the time. I have heard the same complaint from others in town, and some of them refuse to go there anymore. This was my last straw. I normally visit more than just the one day of the special, but now I will go there no more.
The KFC in town is gone, so your store is the only chicken restaurant here. I am just hoping an entrepreneur will look at the gap here and open a competing store soon.
I lived in Austin before moving here in 2017, and never experienced service this bad so often.

On January 4th, 2019 I went to the Dallas location at 1822 Midway road Dallas Tx, 75287 I ordered two lunch specials for a coworker and me. When we got back we noticed they had only given us one of the orders. I called and the lady told me to come the next day and she would make it right. Chicken Express service of employee and manager

"Where do you want to eat today?" as I look down at my 10 year old daughter.
"I haven't had Chicken Express in a while!" she stated.
"Well if that's what you want we will go eat some chicken!" I replied.

We drove over to the restaurant and pulled into the parking lot. Never had a bad experience there besides the food is usually cold do to them cooking the chicken way in advanced and thinking heating lamps will keep it warm. We walked into the building and then immediately walked up to the counter.

" I will be right there." came a voice from behind the counter over to the left. I thought no big deal. Around the corner came a male employee and said "Welcome to Chicken Express. May I take your order?"

I looked down at my daughter and said, "How many tenders do you want?" She stated that she wanted the 4 piece. (Just to remind everyone, I am less than 5 feet away from the man taking the order and he is looking at both of us being attentive. )
"What sides do you want, baby?" I asked my daughter.

"I really just want a couple of extra rolls instead of a side." she stated.

I knew she didn't feel good so I understood. I looked back up at the man and stated, "I want a #1 with no sides but can I get extra rolls instead?"

There was no doubt he already heard her order. It wasn't whispered. It was spoken in a normal voice but he did have that damn thing in his ear even though he was not working the drive through at the time.

He looks me right in the eye and states, "That comes with a side"

I immediately said, "She doesn't want a side but if she can get extra rolls instead, that is what she wants. I can't eat her side. Its all I can do to eat what comes on my 4 piece ."

This is where I got livid. The man looks at my daughter and points at the wall where the sides are listed and rolls his eyes while looking at my daughter and says something like, " Sir... you get a side!"

Well no kidding but after being told twice to your face and once I know you heard in a conversation that I was having with her, he probably heard the order 3 times.

Why look at my daughter that way? Why talk in a demeaning voice? I was already mad and asked for a manager. Little did I know that their management team apparently wears red polos. This was the same guy that was hiding over on the right side. I noticed him walk by earlier but did not think anything like this was going to happen.

The employee rolled his eyes again and said, "Can you come here?" The one that was in red started to walk up to the counter. He was very short and didn't even look like he should be working due to his age.

He walks up to the register and says "What can I get you?"

Really? I mean really? You were only 10 feet away! You want to take my order or what? Is that thing in your ear preventing you to display any sort of compassion or common sense?

I asked him, "Do you allow employees to talk that way to customers?"

He shrugged his shoulders and gave me a bewildered look. Are you kidding me? You shrugged your shoulders? How did you get in that position? Is this part of Chicken Expresses training manual?

I worked in positions like that. I used it to put myself through school until I got my MBA. Not once during my time in management I would have thought of doing that. That was all that I could take. He had no idea of what to do or how to handle the situation. I know its hard enough to get enough employees in fast food but to make someone like that part if management?

You could tell in face he was panicking so the system was flawed but shrugging the shoulders and asking to take my order as well as the first guy rolling his eyes at my daughter is pure unprofessional.

I was beyond mad. I loudly said, "We are going somewhere else to eat!" to my daughter. When I looked back up to the mini manager shrugged his damn shoulders again with a fake smile! Do what? Are you kidding? Your employee rolling his eyes without the ability to understand a simple order and your inability to control a situation is the reason we are in this situation. I had it. I told him, " You and your pre pubescent smile need to learn something!" as I walked out the door.

When we got outside there were 2 women out there and they stated they didn't blame me. They walked out immediately in front of me. They heard the entire thing. She used the old joke, " It's fast food. You can get smart people." Having worked in there to support myself through school I didn't necessarily agree but it did make me smile. It was a good stress breaker.

We went somewhere else to eat and decided later that I would file a complaint. Here is the best thing. The website states to go to the location where you had the incident to make a complaint. Again... ARE YOU KIDDING? You want someone that has a complaint about the management to go back to the management to complain again?

This just says that the District Managers (if they have them) are lazy and uncaring. You want the victim to go back to the store where this happened? Who made this policy? Who spent time on this finally say this is the best way to handle it? There are no regional managers to question this stupidity?

Morale of the story : Do not ask for a special order and get a damn side. Managers are incompetent. Food is convenient, not good. Save yourself and go somewhere else for quick chicken.

I am not going to lie, I do admit that there were times that I called in sick when I was not really sick. One time I was hungover and the other times i did not feel like going to work. But to fire someone on Christmas Eve is heartless. This time I really was sick.

Chicken Express military discount

I tried to use a military discount and was told that I ordered a $5 lunch so no discount. I have ordered this before at this location and 2 others and have received it and am now told NO. I think their buisiness has fallen off and they are cheaping out. They also tried to charge me for ranch jalapeno 25 cents. I have decided that Chicken Express is stingy and now will no longer eat there. I hope it was worth it to not give me my due. Just to let you know Mc Donalds in La Porte tried to skrew me over 65 cents for a syrup over 20 years ago and I get my breakfast at another resturant. I figure they have lost over 7K at this point. There are chicken resturants on every street and not cold chicken either.

Chicken Express the service

I should not have to wait 30 mins after I paid for my food to get it. I was told three different times that the tenders were dropped in the fryer. Which means 3 different times they got new batches of tenders they forgot about my meal that I paid for. This is unacceptable. I have never once had a bad experience with the food chain before but this specific location I went to ruined it. I will never go back. I just want someone to know that this location off Airtex road here in Houston Texas is the worst service I've ever had anywhere.

Chicken Express uber eats/poor customer service experience

Good morning. I hope this email finds you in the best of spirit; however I'm sending this only because I never experienced any issues with Chicken express until yesterday. I decided to order my coworkers lunch and the location out in Fort Worth store 11 forgot my food and when my colleague called them back, they told her it will be 10 mins; my order arrived late and at this time, I was highly upset because we are only allowed a 30 minute lunch break and the order came close to 1pm. I do have a copy of my receipt and hoping to hear back from you as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

David Thomas, Jr.

Chicken Express janitorial skills

I needed to say one more thing about the cleaning process that the women at the 114 Sycamore street bear in common. I have a hand washing habit that most use hand sanitizer in the be place of hand washing. And so since I live in a house and clean it properly, I use the same technique on the job. When I do the restrooms at work, it is first of all with gloves and I use pure bleach in a spray bottle to sanitize commodes and loosen the debris of any fecal matter. I also have a tub full of hot soapy and bleach, and pine water using the hot water that is used to make gravy and mashed potatoes. That's the water that I use to mop. But since I don't have a toilet brush at the job, I take that same mop sitting in that soapy hot pine and bleach water and use it to cleanse the remainder of fecal matter than to use my own hands to do so and I handle cash and food as well. That's the only water clean enough to use to clean a restroom to that degree. I also believe in double washing in the presence of employers it's that important. I saw code compliance Saturday and I was the one that felt the need to go outside and do the cleaning at our parking lot at that location. This has to be discussed so that men can take their rightful manly positions again in the game of employment.

Chicken Express service and food

Today, October 6, 2018 at approximately 12:30 pm, I ordered two snack packs from the drive thru: one with spicy tenders and fried pickles. After purchasing and receiving my order, I checked the order. It wasn't what I had ordered, so I went inside the store to get the correct order. I noticed that the order that I just returned was given to the ordering customer. Although I didn't tamper with the food, I didn't expect for Chicken Express employees to give the food to the paying customer!

When I got home to eat my food, I didn't have my spicy tenders, instead I had regular tenders with extremely salty fried pickles. I drove back to the Lancaster location to return to food and request a refund for my portion of the order. The manager didn't seem concerned with my complaint as he took his time processing my refund. Once he returned. He handed me another ticket that read "reprint". I brought this to his attention and he said that he processed the refund and if I didn't receive it in a few day to come back for my $5.40.

I'm just asking for better customer service and decent food. Thanks for your time and attention to this particular matter.

Chicken Express bad service and can’t satisfy guest

First of all when I placed my order I asked if my 7pc tenders could be made to order. The order taker told me yes! Total was $11. Xx. I was given 4 luke warm tenders instead of 7. I stated nicely that I wanted them fresh. I was argued down they were fresh and hadn't too long came up! But I only like them fresh out the grease. I eat chicken express often in texas and they have never disappointed me with my request. The rude, ugly, prejudice manager come flying to the window talking about "I can just give you your money back because we not about to cook" it was only 7:00pm and I didn't want no refund I just wanted my food fresh. That lady don't need to be working in nobody establishment with that kind of attitude. Then when I asked for corporate number she told me I will just have to look it up online.

I am not a fast food worker...

Where's that prejudice again? You were NOT treated with discrimination... You were just stupid, and thought that if you threw in a fake discrimination claim, that your complaint would sound better. In reality, you just sound like a crybaby, who didnt get their way.

It Is clear that you probably threw a fit, and were acting unreasonably, just by the tone of your complaint... The manager just ran to the window screaming at you, but you just sat there?I smell BS.

I kinda hope they farted on your chicken tenders, before they gave them to you.
