40 piece mega meal
Picked up a 40 pc tender family meal. One of the sides we ordered was green beans. We also ordered all the tenders tone the regular, not spicy. We drove the 20 miles home to find we had not received the green beans so we only had three sides instead of the four that we should have. The tenders came in two boxes. The chicken in one of the boxes was so spicy or grandkids couldn't eat it. When my wife called the store a male who answered the phone and claiming to be the manager was very brusque and rude to her and would not even acknowledge that she had a legitimate complaint. This is not the first time this has happened to us. We really like Chicken Express but your customer service and the attitude of your store managers is awful. Maybe you need to send them to the Ckick-Fil-A school of management.
rewards card doesn't work
Good afternoon,
I am offering feedback or a complaint.
I received a gift card from a family member for my birthday.
The rewards card was for $20.
I have never had so much trouble trying to use it.
The store in Benton tried to run it for a purchase it said I only had about $7 when it was even written on the card how much was on the card.
I am upset because the employees kept saying that I probably stopped by previously and just didn't remember.
I think I would have remembered that.
I want this fixed and even more I want some of my birthday money back.
If I have to call someone or put this on Facebook then I will. This is terrible business.
I am complaining about the service
I purchased 7pc Tender Mild spent $13.40
Get home and mind you I do not live in the area but over there because I had the day with my daughter shopping.
Get home which is no where near the location warm the chicken sort of looks slightly over cook as it was dark, dip it in gravy, bite into the chicken only to discover they gave my spicy... I am allgeric to spicy foods and it also messes with my stomach.
So I call the store and speak with a guy name Arron who is supposed to be the manager. After giving my order # and explaining the situation, he tells me our policy is bring the food back with the receipt and I will replace it.
I explained that I don't live in that area so can you just take name and number.

I sat in line for 10 min 15 max thinking ok this chicken is gonna be fresh, to rush back to work with unfresh chicken and to make matters worst I asked for two legs and one thigh I get the opposite so I called and complained sitting at work hungry so I called and spoke i'm assuming to a manager that claims to be latasha she tells me to bring chicken back whenever I do come to replace it.. Lol sad management I said really I have no problem embarrassing ur establishment very unsanitary.. Latasha replied ok thank u.. I said thank u.. So I said that to say this, i'm gonna do just that.. If those are how ur managers are being trained I will not eat are recommended this chicken express to any out of town family friends etc... I've managed an arbys 4 years and have I ever did such no! I went to the store in Azle, Texas and placed my of 3 pcschicken, legs, 3 pcs chicken Wings and large Dr Pepper and asked for the chicken to be placed together in one box. The empolyee asked if I wanted 3 wings and I replied yes. Then she asked what was the last thing you ordered. At that point I drove up to the window and asked what the hell was wrong she then repeated my order exactly as I placed it. I asked way do I have to repeat my order 2 plus time every time I go to that store. All I got was I'm sorry. The manager came up and asked if the was a problem, I told her what I had already said and then she said something about the speaker, the person was being trained. I responsed BS. All she would say was I'm to which that is a bunch of BS. Order number: 336, order: 3 pc chicken leg, e pd chicken. a large Dr Pepper and an extra roll. The visit on 10 June 2018, time on the receipt was 4:55PM. What I would like is the the people to listen, pay attention and give me my order without multiple orders. Location 770 Pinson Rd. Forney Tx. 4pm Sat 6/9/18. I ordered my food at the speaker and the gentleman who answered was polite and professional. When I pulled around the corner. There was a white car with a black woman talking to an employ. Not just talking but cutting up like they clearly new each other. The employ was a skinny black girl with braided hair and white flashy looking glasses. After about 3-5 minutes of patiently waiting for the white car to pull up to the window I tapped my horn. The woman in the car stuck her hand out and flipped me off. The employ looked my way briefly then turned to her friend laughing where they proceeded to shoot the [censored] ignoring me. I waited another couple of minutes then reved my motor slightly to get her attention again and to move forward. At this point they are deliberately holding up the line. She flipped me off again and the employ finally went inside. She took her time but the car finally pulled to the window where after she got her food she made me wait another minute before flipping me off one more time and driving off. Tried to complain and ask for management but the girl at the window said there was no manager there at the time. The employ who clearly knew this woman and obviously encouraged her should be fired. What a dump to hire a thug like that. Never eating there again and I'll be telling everyone in Forney I know not to eat there. Disgusted.

I ordered the combo number 5 the 6 livers gravy and fries. I only had 4 livers in the box and I couldn't eat not a one. They weren't fresh at all and they were very hard. Then the fries were cold and hard as well. I should have known my livers weren't fresh when I got my order so fast. Normally it takes them a few minutes because they are cooking them fresh but it was otherwise today. I'm very disappointed especially due to the fact that chicken express is so pricey!

A family side was left off a $25.97 order at the drive through. When discovered a manager Tawanda was contacted. She stated that we would need to drive the 8 miles one way to correct their mistake. She said it was not done on purpose which was insulting. When asked about the inconvenience of driving 16 miles round trip while our meal got cold she said it wasn't their problem. When asked if she didn't see the fact she had been paid for product that was not provided thus cheating the customer of money paid she was unconcerned. She accused me of wanting free food. She was never asked for free anything, only how she was going to retifying the situation. She said she was off the clock and didn't want to talk to me anymore. She put another manager identifying himself as Gabriel. He also said they didn't do it on purpose as if it was just our bad luck. I asked him to take my name and phone number and have the owner call me. He then hung up on me.

Had dinner and manager in charge was rude and I mean rude rolling her eyes. Asked for her name and it was Zoey. I complained about mash and Mac ans cheese being cold so I ordered fries and okra. She brought them out and literally threw them on my table. I told her that was very rude and she replied AND. People like her bring down your business sorry to say. Then she's in the back laughing. Very disappointing

Tuesday evening May 22, 2018 @ 7:44pm I was in line at the drive thru with 3 other cars ahead, no problem with that, it was when I stop at the ordering menu after the 3 customers ahead have left the parking lot & I sit for 5mins waiting for the young lady wearing headset to eventually become aware of her drive thru piling up with customers behind me. Then it hits her to speak & take my order. As well as her spacing out in her little world 2 male employees have darted out the back door for a casual smoke break, as well as the cook on the clock slides out the side door to go visit with his buddy sitting in the parking lot right next to the drive thru where us customers can watch! Now I am at the window by this time & waiting nicely for my family 15 meal, which the young lady hands me, yet when I placed the order the flier on the menu board stated "with a gallon of tea"( and I clearly asked for a half & half gallon when placing the order) the young lady turns around to walk away from the window therefore leaving me to remind her of the gallon I ordered & should not be sitting waiting on. "Oh" was her response...
Clearly Gladewater's employees have more important things on their mind than their customers or learning the menu!
How many times do we have to keep helping this establishment train or do the job for its employees?!

On 5-21-18 I was at the restaurant and want to eat the spicy chicken tenders .. I'm a. Ups driver that I only have 30 mins lunch. I approach the counter and 3. White Caucasian employees look at me and then look the other way. That reason I'm saying this is because I'm a Mexican America. Male 265 pounds. 6'2. Is not like they couldn't see me at the counter there where 2 females and one male .. all I want it is to eat a. Good chicken... I waited for over ten minutes then I decided to go next door to the gas station and buy something from them .. this happened at the chicken express in blanco Texas 78606 ... thank you if they don't want my business then will start going to a different restaurant thank you. I work near the Cedar Hill Texas Chicken Express so i go there all the time.However I will no more .I went through the drive through and for some reason at this store there are girls who come out to get your debit card before you get to window and bring you your drink.I told the girl i needed senior discount and she smashed my drink in her fisted hand spilling my drink all over.I complained and was told she was having a melt down .no sorry .nothing.I thought ok.went back today and the girl that came out was just a rude when she had to go back in for senior discount the look i was given was reason enough not to go back.I too am a supervisor and these ypuge girls would no longer have jobs.I am really offended not to mention it took forever to get order and it was dried out and unexceptable. and when she handed me back my debit card it was with no response no thank you.no come again nothing so i wont. I suggest that you work on your grammar before you go around calling grown women girls. This looks like it was . posted by a nine year old child. I doubt that you are a supervisor. Who would hire someone uneducated as you for a supervisor. Why would they tell you to come again if they don't want your business?
chicken tenders
The last two visits to the chicken Express on Basswood Dr in Fort Worth Texas has been unacceptable. The chicken is so salty that it is almost inedible. Please retrain the staff to cut back on the salt levels. My husband and I have some health issues and we love your chicken for the most part but, if it continues to be too salty and we have to cut back on our salt intake. I understand that you have to use salt but can you please use less or offer a salt free or 1/2 the salt option. I would hate to stop coming to this location if this continues.
terrible service
I ordered a 15 price family meal and waited in line for 45 minutes. I checked my order to only find out that they forgot a side item.. I got home to find out they gave me the wrong kind of chicken and didn't give me all of my rolls. I called to see what they could do for me and all I got was " we were busy". I never got a sorry or offered anything else. It was awful! All they would say was "uh huh" I feel like I at least deserve a partial refund or a free meal for mot getting all of our food.. the manager is rude and the employees are a bunch of kids that goof around...

I went to a chicken express in Rockwall tx and they first totally missed my four piece tenders and then they only gave me half of my chicken order. I drove all the way back to my home, a good 10+ miles away and called them. He promised to make it right. So I drove all the way back and he gave me my 8 prices of chicken. Nothing more ! Not even a free tea! I drove for thirty minutes because of these guys and they do nothing to make up for it. Refuse to even give me a piece of chicken! Worst service I ever had in my life! Never will I go here again!
can't get service.
Went to a chicken express in angleton texas and waited for 30 minites for my food which we never got and there was 10 other people waiting for their food too. Everyone wanted theyre money back and the shift manager didnt even know how to put money back on cards so he gave cash back. We asked for the manager and they told us to hold on and come to find out the person cooking was in charge and he was just cooking and ignoring us. Steadly watching the drive thru customers getting served but no one inside was. Worst service I have ever seen
rude staff at league city texas
Had a very bad experience with rude staff at this location. Every time I come in which is often there is a certain young lady that is always rude. Today I came in and said hello. Her response was what do you want to order? I said to her I said hello and it is rude not to return the greeting. She again asked what I wanted to order. This has happened numerous times with this same girl. I then asked to speak to the manager. Justin came up and was just as un friendly as her. All he wanted was to take an order. He said people have bad days and I replied this is all the time with her. He said I do not know what you want. I said that he needs to talk to her and do something about this. He stated he could not in the lobby. Again all he wanted was to take the order with no regard to the issue. I really hope this is read by the general manager or owner and contact is made

employee ethics and complaint
There have been two different situations at the Forney location where the workers are not treated fairly or with respect, in addition to the managers and supervisors being highly ineffective. The supervisors and managers have not been fair-minded, communicated well with staff, or treated everyone with respect and dignity. The first incident happen when a team member used profanity towards my daughter and created an hostile and unfavorable environment, later apologized to her and stated that he was actually using profanity towards another young lady. In return when my daughter stated that he need not speak to her in that way and reported it to management it lead to a shouting match back and forth until she called me to come to the job. Which clearly the supervisor on duty was not fully trained to had escalated issues or on the job training.
Then the second issue was last night 5/2/18 when a manager aggressively yelled at my daughter and when she said that she would just call her me, he told her that if she did that then she might as well quit or would be fired the next time she mentioned calling her mom. And that if everyone else has to take it then she is no different. So my child worked the remainder of her shift in fear of retaliation for the next 3 hours until I picked her up bcause management threaten to fire her for wanting to call me because she felt unsafe and bullied or that she had no voice because like management said it is ok because everyone else has to deal with these unfavorable conditions and treatment. Wow what kind of establishment doesn't value their employees or care about the quality of their work life, and have to deal with; Bullying, Race, gender and all other types of harassment, Manager/Supervisor issue, Hostile Work Environment, or Retaliation. Especially considering that kids will automatically defer to their parents when presented with a hostile situation, it is a natural reaction when needing to know which direction to go in.
This seems to be a pattern of behavior at this location and my concern is that it will continue to happen if not addressed. My child has since decided to turn in her 2 week notice as she feels that she has been left with no choice. I have attempted to speak with management but have yet to receive a response. I will definitely be putting the word out there in our community concerning the treatment their employees at this location.

Customer service at this place is rediculios. You have a general manager named Emily in the Lockhart area who is rude to customers .. she has no people skills she doesn't try to fix a problem .. when she took my order she was very rude . I felt more like a bother than guest .. if she doesn't like her job maybe she shouldn't be there .. I have dealt with this person more than 3 times and every single time it's the same . I try not to make it a habit to complain but I feel like this s one time too many .I don't want to give my money to people who do not appreciate my service ..
I have dealt with many people in my tears if service and the kind of customer service I get from this store is rediculios.. the general manager Emily is very rude . I feel like she make you feel like you are more a bother than a guest and that is not the kind of reputation any restaurant needs..it has been too many times that I get the same attitude from her . If she doesn't like her job maybe she shouldn't be there ..I don't make it a habit to complain but I don't go and spend $5 or $10 .. I am doing family meals of sometimes $40 dollars .. I'm refuse to spend my money on a company who does not take care of their guest .. after all without us they have no job!!
your Terrell Texas location o. Moore Ave, is the worse. I just pulled up to the drive thru, no one came to the speaker, I went to the window no one in the the entire restaurant. you need to get ride of the entire crew. I blew my horn no one still came 2 the window. no customer in the lobby either

My toddler's kid meal was supposed to be a chicken tender as stated on my receipt. They refused to exchange one piece of chicken because she touched it. Several employees refused to help. Finally, i got the tender, but reported them to two different health departments for violation. Ecoli is not a joke. Eat here at your own risk! Here is the receipt as proof.
