After Black Friday in the world of online poker I was happy to find this site advertised on ESPN and other networks that broadcast poker. Its legal and you can win money and prizes for only twenty bucks a month and thats all fine and good. I had heard about certain sites that were "rigged" meaning that beginning players or loyal players would win hands that in poker were just unbelievable. I did some research and found out that the same company that run's or ran "partypokers" software and website is the same company that is used for Club WPT.com. I played for a month every night, and watched all in hands or hands that were played all the way to the river. Playing in some of these myself, I saw "bad beats" that were unreal. Anyone who plays poker seriously knows at least a little about outs and odds. Well, the odds of some of the hands I saw were insane but in the end the player with the worst hand, worst outs and worst odds won almost a majority of the time! Thats truly unbelievable at a live poker game period, there are going to be bad beats and suck outs but what Ive witnessed on this site is crazy. Example: I had pocket AA pre flop, I raise 250, get one caller who re-raises 750, I push all in and he calls...so Im thinking he has pocket KK, AK, QQ something reasonable. Cards are shown he has 5, 7 offsuit...flop comes...555...what are the odds, I dont know but they are unreal. So he beat me with quad 5's. (ive also seen tons of quads on this site and have had them myself) Example 2: Make a long story short, two people in the hand both all in, at the end of the hand after the river one has quad aces, the other a Royal Flush (caught on the river of course)! Also, it seems the last card in the deck someone needs to win they catch, almost all the time. Some people may say "why would a site do this?" well thats somewhat easy to explain and its kinda common sense...lets say you are a new player, never played before but wanna play cause its popular and they can win money...so you pay your money and sign up...you dont know what your doing..you win a few hands by luck...but over time you lose the majority of the time which is what happens for any new player period...in the long run you will lose...now keeping that in mind are you going to keep playing if you always lose...doubtful...you will become frustrated period! So lets say you are a good player, you log tons of hours on the site and play in alot of tourneys but you keep getting sucked out on by players who call anything and play every hand...are you going to get upset? Yes! Are you going to get frustrated? Yes! Are you going to be motivated to keep playing? Maybe but doubtful... so for the site its a balancing act... how can you keep the new players playing and the good players staying...its simple you rig the site so its a balancing act. Thats just my theory though although others online have mentioned it too and its frustrating! If you are an online poker player check the site out pay your 20 bucks and see what you think!

I began documenting the strange problems with wpt poker site.
Despite the misleading click-bait of being able to "chat and play poker with friends", you will do neither (it's just not possible so the relationship starts out as a lie right from the start).
Also I began taking screenshots and did not alter the images showing the fakery here: https://springfieldohiopost.com/media/wpt/world-poker-tour.html

You will lose in the worst kind of way with wpt (whereas I can play "expert" level on other poker sites, wpt is clearly a bad program with a logarithm that will leave you walking away as a loser time and time again).
For evidence, go to your browser and search for "wpt review" (read it and weep...we can't all be lying).

I concur! This site is rigged. And I say so in my comments on the WPT Site. Hypothetically, if I were to ever win a seat in a Live WPT TV Tournament, WPT would never want to interview me. Anyone who plays in Live games knows the odds and the likelihood of what's possible on the turn & river. Sure, Live games have bad beats, but nothing like the consistent bad beats and almost impossible turn & river cards that WPT deals out.

I have to admit, I have never seen any site where you can be ahead on the flop and the turn, and lose 90% or more of the time on the river. Quite literally over 90% of the time, I am way ahead on the river on a huge pot and a miracle card arrives. I spent some time going through the hands, and the larger the pot, the more likely I have lost on a crazy two outer. And I am giving them credit for a two outer, as you don't know what everyone else had. I am a diamond member, and will be canceling the membership this week. You cannot win if you play well here. Somehow, the worse a player reacts to a situation, the more they are rewarded on the river. I've really never seen anything like it. And I have been playing online since Moneymaker won the WSOP, however long that is. Beats are a part of poker, and I know there is no way to quantify the percentage of expected losses. But I know if has to be in the single digits or very low double digits. This site is upside down in that regard.

I have gotten to the point of expecting to lose as I did a minute ago. Flopped a full house, while in third place in tournament. Had tournament leader all in (had me covered by less than 500 chips and we both had over 30,000 chips, it was that close) and the fourth place came all in as well by the turn. River hits and higher full house comes as scheduled. On a legit site or in a card room, that's going to happen on occasion. But on this site I realized I was doomed as soon as I got both of them all in, when I had the best of it.

Stay AWAY!

Website is riddled with bots and bad beat flops. You'll lose 90% win rate hands to garbage bot all-in calls 7/10 times. You'll know they're bots because you can't play at the same table with a friend on the same satellite game but you'll see the same screen names sit at your table over and over again. You'll be dealt the exact same junk hands like 2-9os four to five times in the same game then when you fold ittl drop the exact cards you needed on the flop almost every time. You'll get all the way to a final table and 1st place is impossible since you'll go head to head with an obvious bot. Don't waste your money this isn't poker it's a slot machine.

"Never lose money playing poker guaranteed." That is the slogan. (Scoffs) But after the 14 day free trial, they will keep trying to withdraw money from my account. If I try to call to make payment arrangements, I'm left on hold for hours. (Even in the middle of the day!) The account can have a negative balance, and they will try to withdraw every 48 hours. I'm not here to bash, I like the site, but unauthorized transactions look shady. Period.

This is the most rigged site I have ever played on, it's like some can see the flop turn and river because there's no way u can be rivered almost every single hand from 1 person. Especially when u play for money. I went through 13 straight bad beats out of 13. And got rivered 13 times that they shouldn't have even been in the hand, mind u from 1 player, and he did this to multiple people. I have no faith in this site whatsoever. They can go to hell. CLUB WPT IS A SCAM, THEY WON'T EVEN ADDRESS THE ISSUE.

I think that those players are bots. I've seen the same thing happen time and time again and I can never get a response from them when I ask a direct questions in the chat,

I did the 14 day trial at Club WPT. The first few days were good I even got a 2nd place in a 250 seat tourney. Yes I did get 1 or 2 lucky suckouts but what happened for the last several days has me baffeled. I have been bad beat on the turn and river on the last 25 all in hands. It got to the point I was literally calling out loud the cards that were going to come...and they did...from runner runner inside straight draws ...runner runner flush draws against my striaght.etc. you get the picture.

Last night I gave up and went to bed pissed. This afternoon I decided to try again. Joined a tourney there were only three players seated. I get JJ First guy folds. Second guy goes all in I call he has 3H 2S flop has K6Q then 4,5...IM OUT OF HERE ...I agree it can happen but there is a pattern on this site if you blur your eyes a bit it revels itself...

This site will ruin your "real" poker game because of the freaking bad beats! It makes you change what you know to be sound poker strategy. You can forget playing as you normally would. They intentionally give several people something on the flop in hopes that they will continue to stay in the hand, lose chips and eventually bust out. What is also so obvious is that they selectively choose who they want to win hands, maybe they are bots, who knows? There will be times when you may actually be one of the chosen few and can't lose. Test it out by playing some crazy [censored] and see what happens. HOWEVER, expect a dry spell if you've cashed in on a recent tournament. Try as you may to outwit their [censored] software, in the end, if you are not programmed to win, YOU WILL NOT WIN! The site is total [censored].
