liddells long life custard
I recently tried to purchase this item from Coles, Yeppoon (4703) and was told it was no longer available WHY? There are a lot of lactose intolerant customers around these days!
Because I was prompted to make my complaint longer or it would possibly be ignored I will try to expand. There have been other occasions when I have tried to purchase an item which I had been buying for quite some time only to find that the product was dis-continued. Why is it that when a product is popular and is selling, do they suddenly get taken off the market? I have come across this in other shops as well, not only with groceries. It seems to me that the customers choice is not really that important and other considerations are given priority.
your tv advertising
Re: Mr. Curtis Stone ( promoter of your company ).
Sickening to hear this man refering to this country as AUSTRAIA.
Does he ( and your advertising company ) realize that you are promoting Coles as an AUSTRALIAN company, not some non-descript nation called AUSTRAIA ?
Does Mr.Stone suffer from some sort of medical issue which cannot pronounce the L letter in the English aphabet ?
Respectfully, Joe Skimbirauskas ( a proud Aussie of 69 years )

worker at coles edensor park store (fayza)
I shop at the coles Edensor park store each and every day as I have for years if I have to be honest I spend way to much on groceries, and never have problems with the staff except for this one lady she continues to ask to see my receipts and is always rude to me and my family but today it was one step to far I finished my purchase at the self serve and my sister did also at another machine and when we left the lady then proceeded to re print both of our receipts and stood there for about 5 minutes studying them instead of doing her job of assisting self serve I stood and watched how she was so sure to have to check our dockets that she didn't even care to help others, I seen red I was so mad that me a valued constant customer was made to feel like a thief by this person I went to the service desk and was so angry and emotional that I told the manager I was taking it further something needs to be done I am one very angry customer who needs this addressed asap or I will take it further again
poor product quality
To whom it may concern,
I am a pensioner with two dogs everything I buy is bought with consideration of my budget. I buy chicken for myself and my dogs. I recently stopped buying the cheaper chicken products fed up with the bruising. I felt deeply sad that these little creatures who were giving their lives so that we may have life seemed in their final moments to suffer so that made me sad and made it difficult for me to eat them. So last week I decided to pay a little more and buy a free range chicken. I am so disappointed in that choice. The bruising and blood pooling was worse than the cheaper products. One little chicken for me represents 4 meals, I was able to get enough breast meat for dinner last night. Yes I had to cook it I had no other protein in my fridge. The rest I gave to me dogs. I would like to buy chicken or any other living creature that has been kindly treated in its last moments. I hope that you can improve the quality of your chicken products.
miss packaged product
Hello, I bought a can of Coles spaghetti at the prospect Coles, SA. I proceeded to open my can and tipped it into a bowl to heat up and was very disappointed to see that the can contained only the tomato sauce with not spaghetti in it.. It was the only meal that I had packed for myself to eat that day so I was left pretty disappointed. I understand that the Coles spaghetti is rather cheap but this does not allow for the product to either be miss packaged as another product or for your company to accidentally forget the main ingredient in the can.
product stock reduction at geelong west coles
I shop at Coles for 1 product only: SUNGOLD Low Fat MILK. High Calcium. 1 litre CARTON.
This $10 weekly purchase has me in the store a couple of times a week, spending on a LOT more than milk.
Unfortunately your computer system can't recognise this. Sungold is being pushed out in favour of your generic milk, I presume, with the idiotic assumption that people are lazy and will give up and grab whatever is at hand.
WRONG.
Coles offers nothing that Woolworths can't offer, and Woolworths is nearer my house. Reducing/deleting stock of SUNGOLD milk means I walk out the door and go elsewhere. Bad move on Coles part.
coles australian penne rigate (durum wheat) pasta 500g
Just cooked up the above pasta on Thursday last with my home made sauce and was so disappointed. The pasta broke up to shreds did not hold the tube effect at all, looked terrible. I checked the use by date and that was best before 12/9/19 so that was ok. I buy and use stacks of Coles brand products but will be a little cautious from now on. Do you think something was wrong with product? I was serving for dinner with my grandchildren so they didn't notice I think my sauce saved the dish. I don't know how to send a photo of packet on computer but could send by text if you like. Shall take a photo on my phone just in case.
My mobile number is [protected]
I am sure I have bought Coles pasta before but not sure of seeing Durum Wheat written on packet before. Bought at my favourite Coles... Chermside @ Westfield Shopping Centre.
deli product/price
On June 1, 2018 at Fairy Meadow, NSW store, i purchased 0.426g of Crimson Snapper fillets. They were marked down to $15 per kilo. During the evening when i began cooking the fillets i checked the price and i had been charged $29 per kilo ($12.35), and the fillets themselves did not look fresh, all looked like different types of fish and were tough and chewy unlike several previous occasions i have purchased them from coles. We could not eat them. It is not worth me driving back to the shop for a refund.
flybus
Hi.. I want to share my experience at Coles super market oakleigh. I have finished my shopping and came to pay the bill they are advertising about fly bus when u reedem u you will get $10 off. As the same I have asked cashier he mentioned I don't know, I'm working for Coles not for Flybus. I told him u guys advertising everywhere in the store. Atleast you can other colleagues and give a info about it. He refused to do that. Even u call to my manager he will also do the same thing.
That is where I got pissed off. I have been shopping at Coles from last 8 years. This is the first time I got like this experience. I just want to share my experience
food delivery
I would like to complain about a driver who would not deliver our fortnightly order to our home address, which we had a successful delivery only 2 weeks prior. The driver was also rude on the phone and then hung up and cancelled our order.
We then find out that we will not be receiving a refund for 3-5 days, leaving us financially stressed not being able to afford to purchase food for our household of 4 (with two young children), and being a Thurs evening with the weekend approaching we won't receive our refund until Tue at the earliest leaving us without food for this period.
The driver we believe was irresponsible uncourteous and without complete care that we needed to feed our family.
We subsequently called the online dept who spoke to the store manager at Rockhampton and we were advised that the manager would ensure we received our delivery.
We then received an email stating our order had been cancelled.
We then called the online dept back again to be told the order had been cancelled, and we would be receiving a refund in 3-5 days.
We are completely perplexed as to why one young driver who must not have much driving experience could decide that because we live on a dirt road on the top of a small hill only a few hundred meters from the bitumen that he could not deliver our goods?
We will also be contacting our local member for parliament about this ridiculous error of judgement.
We will have serious doubts of dealing with Coles again and will be contacting the local media about such an unbelievable and inconsiderate event by your company.
We will also consider making a formal complaint to the Office of Fair Trading if this complaint is not dealt with equitably and with urgency.

cosmetic standards
Dear Coles™,
I am a student at Gardenvale Primary School and I think we all know that Australia's cosmetic standards are getting out of hand. 1-2 thirds of the annual banana crop goes to food waste, which is just as bad as landfill, and 20-40% of fruits and vegetables go to waste as well. If you put it all together, we throw away 1/5 of all the food we buy! And even though Woolworths has ‘The Odd Bunch'. It is wrapped in loads of plastic, which won't break down for hundreds of years. We need to do something about this or we will just be digging our own graves.

understaffing and rude checkout operator
The other day when I went to Coles Bridgewater Monday 28th May, I had to wait at the service deli in the morning for 5 minutes with no one serving behind the counter until I went to the front counter to find someone to serve me. Later that day I went back into the store and at 4.00pm there were only 2 checkouts operating, neither of which were for 12 items or less. 4.00pm is a very busy time in that shop and both checkout lines were or 7 people deep.
I waited for approximately 15 minutes to be served and when I did I asked the attendant why there was only 2 checkouts open. The operator behind him overheard, and snarled back to me that "we are allowed to have a break you know" as clearly one of the other workers was on their break. Luckily for her I decided not to berate and embarrass her in front of the waiting customers for being the slowest operator the store has. I never go through the checkout she is on as she is jaded, rude and slow, her work ethic is terrible! (Cathy)
There are many other supermarkets around available and I will be going to them instead from no on even though Coles is the closest to my house. Inefficiency and rudeness at Coles will ruin your business!
opus sim card - ref c101936810
It took four weeks - all but a day - to solve the problem - and until a lady named Sarah responded to my compliant nothing seemed to be happening. I just want to commend Sarah for the efficient and professional way she dealt with both me and the problem. She had answered my [protected] call - and instead of doing what the others had done - tell me it wold be dealt with - Sarah offered to put me through to the Telco who would explain the problem. From that time Optus - who had said it was not their problem - apologized that it was their problem and had it corrected within a very short time - and I once again after nearly 4 weeks had my mobile back on line.
I later received a Coles Gift Card as a gesture of goodwill - so I want to thank you for your thought. But I hope you will look after Sarah - you have a great employee in her.
Sincerely
Jim Edson

Knowing I would be using mushrooms tonight I bought the half price ones. At the checkout I usually try to watch the items scan but this particular operator wanted to be tooo chatty and kept distracting me. The mushroons scaned at full price and it was only by chance I noticed it when I was putting stuff away. Took a pic and will try to upload. The coles I stopped at is too far away for to go back and complain.

why are I not getting catalogues delivered by salmat and coles don't care
for 5 plus years I have had issues getting pamphlet regularly delivered to my letter box.
I have made many many complaints, and told it be fix...in 3 weeks.
wait 3 weeks no pamphlets call Coles customer Care again, told be fix in...3 weeks,
but tell them been 3 weeks and dumbfound I'll have to look into it, or you speak to some one who
a) can't figure the computer system and find a record of another complaints?/then fails to log current phone ...so no action taken
b) you just get lies... there no walker in area..but the next street over there they are pushing in the pamphlets...now told not in delivery serviced area?
FIRSTLY: if true why tell me now it been 5 plus years of complaints?
SECOND: Why when spoke to a SALMAT REP at VIC office (JIM) he had me {address} on screen/map and he didn't say that? and then the one time the area supervisor turned up at door she never said "ho your not in a serviced area"
so where are the lies from Coles (don't care )Customer Service, Salmat? [and all the another Retailers are in on it too.] Not much better in giving the truth or fixing it.
And No I don't want to go on-line, to be then push to make an order!
5c off per litre email, scam.
Hi Coles express,
I was a loyal customer to Coles express/shell fuels, my wife and I prefer to fill up with 98 V-Power. However after today I'm not sure how we feel about Coles express.
Today I filled my car up at one of your locations in Silkstone, Qld (site number: 2026). I read the email and thought "sweet! 5c off!" So filled it up to full.
I walked in store and activated my barcode for the 5c off per litre (as per the instructions in the email). As I got to the counter I was greeted by a rude fat lady (sorry didn't get her name), she asked if I had discounts and/or flybuys, I went ahead and scanned my flybuys and told her as I'm handing my phone to her "I also have this barcode on my pho...", she rudely interrupts me and said "nope we don't accept barcodes on phones you have to go home and print it out." I was shocked at this point, all I could say was "Wow, really?!" Again she replied with an angry voice "Yep, we don't accept them".
To my disgust with the way I was treated and the misleading information you have given me I don't think my wife and I will continue supporting Coles. This also will be screenshot and posted on social media.
Kind regards,
Two unsatisfied pre-loyal customers
Johannes Brandt.
staff member
I was shopping at Coles Grote Street Adelaide at 1:30pm. At the end isle near the bakery, there was a staff member stocking shelves. Firstly the huge trolley which was near him where empty boxes was being put was a safety issues as it was blocking customers and customers could not get to various products. Unfortunate that the trolley which was very big was not moved at the end of the shelfs to make it safer. This staff member was on his mobile phone which I was quite shocked by as I have never seen this before by staff in a supermarket, maybe if the trolley was not in such a prominent position the fact he was on the phone would not have been so obvious.
coles brand thickened cream
you seem to have changed the thickened cream recipe. its so runny and thinned out now it used to be beautiful and thick and just so good. im so disappointed now, its almost as thin as whipping cream. Has this been done to bring out a new thicker product and charge more for the new product that was the same as the old recipe? sooo disappointed! its as bad as the woolworths one now. sigh
service
Today 23/5/18 i was shopping at Coles Charletsown square supermarket at the self serve checkout. My little boy who's 3 years old needed to go to the toilet so I was scanning things as quick as I could. He was sitting in the trolley with other recycled bags with products I had bought from Aldi.
Once I had scanned everything though and paid, I was just about to leave to take my son to the bathroom when the self serve checkout lady staff member stopped me, pulled out my receipt to check everything. I understand that this is her job to make sure no one steals products but I felt extremely degraded by her. I said I can leave my trolley with her so she can check every single item even from Aldi that's in my trolley so I can take my son to the bathroom. I felt as though she didn't trust me. I shop at Coles daily and this particular staff member has served me numerous times. I have never felt so poorly treated.
