the cashier
Yesterday Saturday the 21st April at around 10.30am my husband, 2 Kids and I were in your coles liquorland Eastgardens store buying beer and some ciders for a party/gathering that same night. We all together entered the store went into the cool room then as we were walking out my husband suggested I get some ciders, I said "which one?" and as I couldn't hear him my 12 year old daughter pointed to the fridges so I went over and grabbed the one I wanted .
We made our way over to the cashier and my husband put the alcohol on the counter . The cashier that was about to serve us then rudely asked my husband if my 12 year old daughter had ID as he said he couldn't serve us as she pointed to a fridge, my husbsnd said "this is my daughter " he (the cashier) then said " she pointed I can't serve you!"
I said "omg are you serious she's 12 and with her parents as if we would let her drink alcohol !" He was a rude and took a condescending tone refused very loudly that we wouldn't be served.. This all happened whilst there was a line up of people behind us which was totally embarrassing for them to think we would let our daughter drink at her age.
I know there are rules and regulations that we totally agree with but he took it to a ridiculous extreme as he didn't use common sense to read the situation.
We left the store upset, angry and mortified and went straight up to Woolworths BWS where they were friendly and served us professionally. I am sorry to say we will never go back to your store again ..
The salesman was of a stocky build and Indian/ West Indies descent . I think he should be retrained as he is doing you and your store a disservice and not in any way doing you any favours.
I bought the 100gram coles brand "no added sugar" dark chocolate with peppermint this afternoon at roselands nsw
The product has 5 individually wrapped bars of 20grams each. Tonight around 10pm I unwrapped one and broke off 1 square and slowly sucked it...within seconds I noticed something hard and when I checked in the square what resembled a shard of glass like material.
I have never purchased the product before but did so as my blood sugar has been up and I wanted to try an alternative.
I have taken photos and will also go to the store tomorrow where I purchased it.
checkout service
This involved the Devonport Cole's Supermarket in Tasmania. Our Grand-daughter Leah Richardson was waiting to be served and the checkout operator was having a private conversation with another operator and our grand-daughter asked for some service. A discussion ensured and our grand-daughter pointed out she had a bus to catch, the operator contacted her supervisor and Leah was banned from Cole's stores for 12 months and if she disagreed with that ruling the Police would be called. Leah still missed her bus and had to wait another hour for another bus. We normally do our family shopping at Coles but this week I had to go to Woolworth's because I was with Leah and I wasn't allowed into Coles Supermarket at Devonport.

globus polskie ogorki
The product is
Globus
Polskie ogorki
Globus is/was a polish export/import company that exported authentic polish food products from poland.
"polskie ogorki" polish for "polish cucumbers"
The product you have on the shelves of the glenorchy 7010 store is a fake. It tastes nothing like the authentic product and it is made in india. It is a total misrepresentation and a fake and very inferior product.
credit card account
I received a very suspicious email from Cole's Financial Services that read:
Thank you for the payment towards your account on 03 Apr 2018.
Account Number xx7176
Payment received -$1, 185.00
I do not have a valid account with this organization and I want to contact the correct authorities to make sure that I am not being hacked or financially compromised.
Your help in the matter is greatly appreciated.
my personal property brand new being ruined due to faulty item packaging.
I was told the westmead store manager would look into this for me as i do not work for coles and feel that its coles duty to investigate and further reimbuse me the full amout for my property which was damaged. I was told by coles customer service line to call another number to submit a claim and i refuse to do the work of coles supermarkrts and waste my time sitting on hold for over an hour then phone disconnection and hang ups so i am left out of pocket for the expenses i saved for 9 months to purchase my shoes which were 2 days old and in mint condition before shopping at your westmead store and product packaging failure. I want a senior supervisor and the media relations manager/liason officer to contact me to put in claim and to be promptly re-imbursed my out of pocket costs. It is not my fault as the cctv located in the supermarket will show and prove. I want this issue remedied and to be reimbursed in full plus a gift voucher given as an appology for coles supermarkets unprofessionalism and valued customer mistreatment.
Feel free to please contact me via phone on [protected] to further enquire.
My name is Prudence and this event occured on the 29th of last month yet i still remain dissappointed and issue not resolved to this moment. I cannot tolerate the stress and dissatisfaction of which coles supermarkets have handled their mistake or fault.
I intend to go to the media to voice my customer mistreatment and neglance if i do not receive correspondance by way of personal phone call today. As i feel the public need to know how coles treats their not at fault apparent valued customers.
Thankyou for your time.
Prudence Bowman.

Thankyou kindly.
car parking services to your stores
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please see below correspondence received from Wilson parking with regards to a claim I made for a Parking Breach Notice they left on the car I was driving for failing to display a ticket at Coles supermarket in 115 Cambridge street.
My parking period was for less than 10 minis and they advertise for 2 hours free parking. I provided evidence of my parking period with shopping receipt (they also have CCTV on the car parking so, they now I am right on my claim) and assure them that they did not incur in any liquidated damages because of me. However, they insist on pursuing the claim because I failed to display a ticket rather than because I had an extended parking period.
I would like to make a formal complaint because I think this situation is a bit abusive. The parking breach notice should be for extended parking periods and not for Customer forgetfulness.
In addition, I find their advertisement misleading in the car parking facility at Coles in Cambridge Street Perth. They highlight the two hours free parking so that, as a Customer, you think that you are complying with their rules. You have to read the long and small print displays after that to find out that you have to display a ticket. If they want customers to not to have an extended parking period, they should have barriers to enter and exit the car parking facilities, like most other car parking facilities in supermarkets.
Furthermore, they issue the parking breach notice when I have read they have no Government authority to do this. Coles supermarket should provide their customers with easy access to car parking without having to go through all this pain and I am a regular customer at your supermarket but I mostly cycle there.
Just wanted to seek some confirmation from yourselves to know how to proceed with this an get the car parking breach notice removed. I don't owe a car and don't generally drive but my partner owes the car and feels very uncomfortable about this situation. This is the reason why I would like to get this sorted, for his peace of mind.
Your help and assistance with this matter will be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Raquel

lack of checkout service
Coles Brisbane Street Ipswich 4305 Qld not Riverlink..
Friday 2.30 PM [ISH] finished our shop n headed for checkouts. We had more than 12 items so we headed for big checkouts.
There were 3 open n around 3-4 in each being served. Then 2 closed n they asked customers to choose some other checkout.. Only one left so there's not 7+ inline for one checkout.. The 2 operators ignored the fact they had customers already in line. They just vanished to have smoke I assume.. 7 mins later some manager guy strolls round the corner without a care in the world. He came over n said "we about to open 2 checkouts now" smiling as if ha god.
I told him f at not pleased ppl already had 2 extra penhey just walked away.. He ared at mend said "I can close them if thats what you want sir".. I told him just get on with it do his job properly.. He glared at me again. I told him stop [censor] n get done.
Today at above Time the Manager said these things to ALL of us waiting after being cut off by 2 registers.
Comments were also get rid of american chef that flies over here to oz tooz dllars then fly home again to usa.. Pplre sick of you spending good oz dollars to some [censor] american who used be australia,.
Fire the 2 that entionally closed registers on waithing custome.
Fire the [censor] manager who loves being rude to customers.. Hes not hard to pick. Hes the one with funnys, down syndrome a guy behind me said.
Get rid of the imitation chef that no longer lives here. We dont nt him. Or we'll go to aldi
the apple is rotten to the core
Dear Madam or Sir,
I am writing to complain about the safety issue of one of the promotion products at one of your super market.
I bought some apples yesterday which was on 12th, Apr, 2018 at C/S Benowa Village ( store 4390).
I woke up with little of stomach trouble and Diarrhea . I had no idea where these symptoms. I didn't change any of my diet.
I attached the 2 pictures below, some apples were covered with mould around seed. I might have bad luck yesterday . I however, still believe that one rotten apple spoils the barrel. The Coles group always remind people about the fresh of products, I started to doubt about this from this incident.
However, the shop manager or whoever choose the products, please make sure the freshness and safety issues like this incident as it could be the big incidents to someone who is not healthy and strong enough to go through this little of rotten and mould apples.
I don't know what to ask about for resolutions of my complaint as I believe that your company knows the better about the regulation of safety and branding images.

I am looking forwards to hearing from you.

unethical behaviour
On Monday 9th April I went to this store and grabbed a few articles. I had approx 16 articles and as all the check outs were full I went to the 12 item counter. The lady on the check out looked at the trolley and pointed to the sign, she obviously had lost her voice...I glared at her as there was no one else waiting behind me and she was just standing there with a sour face. I then proceeded to the express lanes and found another lady who obviously didnt want to be there. I purchased some plums put them up to be weighted but couldn't find plums on the screen. I asked for some help only to be told that plums start with P so press the P button. I explained I had done that and she just walked away. I was so disappointed with the staff serving procedure I honestly dont know how this people keep there jobs. Both ladies were older in age so they should have known better. Time I was in store was approx 10am
service
Who over come up with the stupid idea if only using baskets and if you have more then 12 items you need to go and stand in line at the checkouts genius idea NOT. Today we have 4 checkouts with line ups on all yesterday 3 checkouts. After working 12 hours a day I really look forward to standing in line. I lived st Caroline Springs before coles was here and if it doesn't change I will be going to Woolworths at watervale. My average spend everyday is between $35-$80. Obviously you don't need locals to shop at Coles Caroline Springs
So angry and a disatisfied future non customer of coles due to staff handling or non handling of incident due to no fault of a supposed valued return coles customer. Ridicilous ...
vaalia yoghurt
On Sunday 8/4/18 I purchased a tub of Vaalia Vanilla Yoghurt which was $5.50. The best before for this was 24/4/18. I drove home from my local Coles (approximately 3 minutes) and placed it in the fridge. This morning; 10/4/18 when I opened it, it was off and smelt sour. It was completely curdled at the bottom and liquid on top which I attempted to mix but realised it was completely off. I am highly disappointed that my unopened yoghurt had gone off in a matter of 2 days.
online delivery
Had my coles online order delivered to me tonight at 9.09pm on the 6th of april 2018. I always check and tick off on the list they provide me to make sure its all always there. Ive found that im missing a few items i have paid for and also that online on my coles online account my shopping come to$ 396.51 but i was charged $402.88 instead. I had free delivery because i spent over $150. Ive taken a screen shot of how much it come to in total. I would please like a refund of how much i was over charged and would also like my missing items as soon as possible. I know i wasnt over charged by much but im a single parent of 3 kids and dont get paid very much and had it all worked out how much my shopping cost in total so the rest of my money i had left was for something else that iam now short of getting because i was over charged.
Im so dissapointed as i shopat coles regularly and now this makes me not want to ever again. And to mention i waited all day and all night for my shopping to be delivered .
My email address is : sala.[protected]@hotmail.com to contact me.
Thanks .
what’s the problem with shopping trolleys?
Suppose you try to turn a trolley towards, say, the left. It would definitely turn, but not towards the left; it would either go towards the right or move straight ahead. The same thing happens when you push them in the forward direction; it goes left or right unless you apply a surprisingly large amount of force to move it in the desired direction.
90% off the people I spoke to about this problem, agree with me and wish the design were better.
It will make shopping for clients much more relaxing and enjoyable.
My solution:
I want to take the existing shopping trolley's and redesign the wheel problem. If you're interested in my proposal, please contact or email me to arrange a meeting. I can start with one Trolley as a Demo before you make your decision.
Hope to hear from you.
Yours sincerely

lack of customer service
Hi, I was in my local Coles supermarket today buying my son a toy car. He was sitting in the trolley and having one of those days I would have done anything to shut him up. When I got to the self check out I noticed my orange juice that was sitting in the trolley had tipped and spilt on the floor and I had a trail. I asked the lady who was at the check out if she had any paper towel I could have to clean up the mess. I am heavily pregnant 40+ weeks and had a screaming toddler in my trolley. She handed over the paper towel and I was expected to clean it up. I'm sorry I work in retail and no way I would have expected the customer to clean up after an accident especially she could see How pregnant I was. People were starring and not one staff member asked to assist.
After a horrible experience in one of your stores, I definetly won't be returning to my local supermarket.
toilets not working
I arrived at the store to do my fortnightly shop and needed to use facility and was not working so my husband explained that l had recently had a lung transplant and the toilet was not working the girls on main desk told me to go next door to Aldi and use theirs which we did. It was the staff toilet we spoke to the manager and he was more than obliging so l did all my shopping there. I understand about letting people in the back and security problems but l am a 67 year old lady, the women at the desk did not even care and their attitude was disgusting.
I am complaining about the customer service
I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with your company customer service.
This morning I brought three avocados in Coles (Melbourne Central station, Melbourne). The price on the tab is $2 each but it charged $8.10 (minus $0.50 discount) for these three avocados.
Staff A asked the staff B to check the price twice, and staff A told me to see a counter to get refund. Counter C confirm with A and B and told me to see counter D, then D (Gayanga) confirm with A B & C again and check in Coles system again and again and again, then told me the $2 tab is a new tab or something. I'm not sure what's that mean and what's your company's procedure, so I asked ‘is this my fault or your company's fault', she answered ‘it's company's fault'. Then I keep waiting for my refund and there's no any apology. I can understand the human mistake - put the wrong tab, but please improve the customer service.
security
Was just at Coles south grafton when a male got [censor] when staff member Brooke told them that he couldn't park his car in the emergency area. The young male said he couldn't give a [censor]. Another customer told the male to have respect. The male security guard was to busy talking with other staff. As I was at the counter waiting to be served staff member Brooke & a customer told the male to have respect. The male told them to get [censor]ed. The male security guard did not a thing.

online orders
Today is the last day I will ever step foot in or purchase anything from Runaway Bay Coles Supermarket!
I did a click & collect, picked up my order, unpacked & proceeded to mark off the items (which further in my complaint you will understand unpacking it & marking it off before its put away), only to find that once again items were missing from my order, 35 items including most of the meat and all of the fruit and vegetables.
This is not the first instance of this happening hence be why we have to go through the whole item check off. First I call the store, they call me back very apologetic (again) & say "you can come up & pick it up but there's nothing we can do today for you", understandably, I kicked off, demanded they get it to me today anyway they could.
Do you know what, none f them could really care less about what has happened, they seriously do not care at all about their customers including the "Customer Care" department. The guy I spoke to virtually said they didn't care if they lost me as a customer (19 years), e just wanted to do what I had just done so he could note that he had done something.
This all comes from an ongoing problem with orders, in the whole time I have done online orders, they have only ever got my order right once, they have lied to me about items not being available, they have treated me like an [censor], they have hung up on me, they have dismissed me, they have buck passed the problems and never bothered to get back to me, though it was requested on 19/3/18 from a senior online supervisor, the Brisbane area manager and the manager of Coles, Runaway Bay, they left me sitting at the collect for over 45 minutes because they forgot me, they then did the same to my partner on 19/3. But after 24 items missed off last order and 35 items this time...I am done, a free box of chocolates wont fix this time!
I want compensation from them for my time, fuel and the distress they put me through, why should I be the 1 who suffers for their unprofessional conduct and service.
