Seller provided only half of the order
I ordered Christmas lights and other decorations from the website www.collectionsetc.com, but it was horrible. I placed order and paid for express delivery, but these jerks delivered only half of the order. I tried to reach them and get any info about the other part of my order, but the seller simply ignored me. No idea what to do now. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.
They sent me wrong items
I ordered wall and garden decor from the company www.collectionsetc.com. I received completely different things, which didn’t look as on the website. I contacted the live chat agent and she promised to ask the manager and provide any reply within an hour. I patiently waited, but she never replied. I sent more messages, but again no response. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with this seller.
Rip off
I ordered an inflatable salad bar from Taylor Gifts in July of 2010 which didn't arrive until after my daughter's graduation party the first week of August 2010. I returned it to Taylor Gifts and requested a refund as I didn't need it because their shipping is so slow. I have called them at least six times and each time they indicate that a refund will be issued to me within 2 days. It's been five months and no refund. They lie every time you call them and they kept my $18.71. Do not order from Taylor Gifts- they are liars and thieves.
outstanding order
In June 2010 I placed an order with Collection, etc. Some things were on back order which they inform you of right away. That's fine. OK, on June 23, 2010 the border print for the bathroom came in and when I checked order status it said it was in stock and reserved and would be shipped in 7-10 days. Well, July 6, 2010 came and went. I the emailed again and they said they were sorry and would release it right away for shipping give it 7-10 days. Well, I waited and started emailing again because this is a guest bathroom and I'm getting company on July 22, 2010. Now yesterday I was informed it is on back order and won't be shipped until way into August. What happened to in stock and reserved? Has anyone else been shafted around like this? ORDER #[protected]-001 I RECEIVED A REFUND CHECT 3197872 FOR 8.99 . THE ORDER CAME, LESS A CHRISTMAS BASKET FOR 14.99. I DON'T REMEMBER THE CATALOG NUMBER FOR THE BASKET (I NO LONGER HAVE THE CATALOG). I ASSUME IT TO BE OUT OF STOCK, IF SO, THE REFUND CHECK IS SHORT $6.00. PLEASE EXPLAIN. Poor Customer Service
On January 30, 2010 I placed an order with Taylor Gifts for a “Storage Bench and Wicker Baskets” set (Item #D28336A). The item description at the time read “AND wicker baskets” in the title and once in the description. In mid-February, I checked my order status to find that the item title was changed to read “Storage Bench” only. And the description, at the bottom, now stated that the baskets were sold separately.
I called Taylor Gifts and was told that I would not receive the baskets, even though the title and description stated “AND wicker baskets.” I then asked for a $30 partial refund so that I could purchase the baskets. I was told that I would receive the partial refund in 7 – 10 business days.
I never received that partial refund, so I called on February 22, 2010 and was told that it wasn’t Taylor Gifts ’s problem that I did not read the full description. Therefore, I would not receive any partial refund.
Then I received the bench, and the backboard had a foot-long crack in the top. So I called Taylor Gifts again on February 25, 2010, and I was told that someone would contact me about the backboard.
By March 1, 2010 I hadn’t received a phone call, so I called Taylor Gifts again. I pressed 4 for customer service, then I pressed 5 for customer service, then I pressed 1 for the credit department, two rings, and CLICK - I was disconnected. So I called again and was disconnected. So I called AGAIN, and I was finally connected with a human. While I was telling him my problem, he transferred me. I heard two rings, and CLICK – I WAS DISCONNECTED.
You get the picture. After being disconnected EIGHT TIMES, yes, EIGHT TIMES, I finally spoke with another human. She told me that the last person I talked to advised me to call back with the part number that I needed. But that was a lie. No one ever told me anything – I wasn’t connected long enough for that to happen. When I told her everything that had happened, she stated that I needed to call Winsome to get my replacement backboard. When I asked about my $30 partial refund, I was told that I wasn’t going to receive any refund.
At this point, I would like a COMPLETE refund for my aggravation and time. Not only am I doing their job by calling Winsome to get my replacement backboard, I still don’t have the wicker baskets that were part of the title and description or a $30 partial refund.

I ordered a pillow from Taylor Gifts and here it is 6 mounths later and still no pillow.

I totally agree with you at least you received something. I made a purchase on 2/17/10 never received any shipping confirmations at all. So I checked online and it said shipping complete. I called today to find out the tracking number and some very rude CR named Natalie told me that there was no way to track my package it wasn't shipped from their warehouse, I kindly asked her to give me the name and number from their "vendor" so I can call them. She said she wasn't allow to give that information. Mind you I have been trying to get that shipment tracking confirmation for over a week! Still no luck have emailed them 2x today and nothing. I am regretting my decision and feeling like I am one of the many costumers they take advantage of and keep their money.
Buyer beware
I ordered some items from Taylor Gifts, and found that they had increased the prices on some items when I received my final charge. I notified them, and requested they reimburse me, to which they agreed. So, I thought this may have been a fluke. No, since I made another purchase today, and found that they did the same thing! The first time, they overcharged me $10.00, and this time it was for $11.00! Buyer beware! Make sure you check your charges, and print out your receipt (if ordering on the Web). I'm not sure I'll be ordering from them again after this recent faux pas, given it was the second time. Seems far from a coincidence.
