Lack of communication
I purchased tickets to 2 different shows theough computicket. The show dates have been moved due to covid and there is no information available or communication provided. I have followed up via telephone and email and cannot get any resolution on when the shows are moved to or whether I should get a refund. Shows are Bratpack and We Will Rock You.

I booked tickets to travel from Capetown to Johannesburg. I tested positive for covid 19 and was severely ill, at the same time The President closed interprovincial travel. During this time I was unable to travel for two valid reasons. The computicket consultant told me there is no refund due and I just forfeited R3300. The pay no regard to the National Disaster management act and covid 19 regulations. They more interested with enforcing their rules which is completely in contradiction with the law of the country. This needs to be investigated.
Computicket refusing to refund my money. I booked fastjet jhb to hre through computicket for my cousin. Unfortunately his covid result returned positive around 5am on date of flight which was scheduled to leave at 8.35am same day. I quickly emailed fastjet and called with no avail as they only start taking calls at 9am.
I tried calling computicket that early but no response as they start taking calls after 8.
Fastjet respondec to email around 8 and told me to email computicket with proof of covid result for refund.
Computicket rude consultant called me way after 9.30am and said no refund because your cousin did not go for check in so he was a no show. How does computicket expect a covid positive passenger to proceed to fastjet checkin and cancel ticket.
This is rubbish.

Did not receive my bus ticket
Good day I am Yonela. On the 8th June 2021 20h15 I booked a bus ticket. The money went from my account but did not receive any confirmation for my bus ticket. I have been speaking to so many consultants but nothing was resolved. I have been sending emails and they cannot heIp me. Please see the attached documents that shows I made the payment. We requested a refund on March 2020
My friend and I booked return flights with LAM Mozambique via computicket on the 27th of March returning on the 31st of March. We applied for a refund the moment Covid19 hit and the country was closed, till this day we haven't received anything. After numerous interactions via email and telephonically with officials from computicket we haven't received our money back. They always tell us that they are still waiting to hear from the airline, it has been almost a year now. Please assist

Bus tickets
I purchased a bus ticket on the 19.12.2020, I did not receive the confirmation email after the purchase. Due to time pressures I proceed to but another ticket. I immediately informed Computicket and they promised a refund. I received a call from Boitumelo Maila, informing me that I can get a refund from any of their shops. I went to Shoprite on the 28th Dec, they told me to return the following day. I went again on 29.12.20, they told me tgat they were struggling to get hold of Computicket. On the 04.01.2021, I called again Computicket and Ms Maila told me tgat the refund will be credited to my account witjin 7 days. I emailed her my banking details and notjing has been done to date.

I went to computicket website.. I did check all the busses then I decided to book the bus via computicket... I did follow all the steps enter my banking details correct amount was deducted... I got my ticket via email.. The only issue on the day of depature eldo coaches couldnt pick up my name on their list! My number [protected]
Booking on the internet
One book to watch a concert over the internet. You dont receive the link to watch the show. Upon contacting Computicket you are told they have a problem with the EFT system and they will look into it. You are told to send the proof of payment. Still they cannot find the payment. It is now more than a month I still did not receive the refund. I contacted them on more than 1 occasions with no joy. They do not even have the decency to contact me to inform me what the situation is with regard to my complaint. Thus now I missed out on watching the show I wanted to watch and my money has disappeared into their company.

I am writing this in hope that it get to your attention.
Yesterday was Aka Orchestra show and we were so inconvenienced.
Firstly the tickets I have bought online, I had them reprinted at Checkers Pavillion prior to the event.
When we got to the venue we were told our tickets do not print, I asked if they can't use the barcode or Ref number we have received on emails. Ladies advised they can't see the barcode and the Ref from the email they don't use, we must now go reprint these tickets somewhere around.
Now here's my issue, how is it my fault that your ticket doesn't scan, why must I now be inconvenience by walking about 1km in the durban street as women, putting my self and friend and danger while we did everything in time and correctly. Why wasn't the printing guys at the venue itself to assist why did we have to pay twice for parking tickets because our tickets could not scan.
I'm really not happy with the service recieved.

Rock of ages, montecasino, 28 september 2019
We were vey excited to watch Rock of Ages as a family as the age restriction is no under 3's after i asked 3 times if this was a appropriate to take my kids to watch the show, we were assured that it was suited for the whole family.
Rock of ages is NOT suitable for the whole family, as we paid R1800 for 6 tickets and had to leave with my 7 and 9 year old after 15mins because of the extreme sexual undertone and swearing, this show should be aleast rates NO under 16's.
We are extremely disappointed and disgusted.
I would also like a full refund on this case i am awaiting your telephone call regarding this matter!

Online bus tickets
I booked an bus ticket online, money was deducted from my account but I havent receive any comfirmation on my booking so I had to book a new ticket and pay for it once again. It's been two weeks and they haven't refunded me for the first booking that didnt go through. Whenever I call there's always another excuse.Very disappointed since I'm a regular customer ...Very bad customer service!👎👎 I honestly will never book a bus ticket through computicket ever again!

I booked tickets as a surprise for a boy in a wheelchair for his 18th birthday 16 august 2019. Then I get an sms saying delay in the arrival, so freaking disappointing.
Been to rosebank to rebook for another day, computicket busy with revamp, then went to monti they offline. Called to ask can they cancel the tickets have to go to a branch... Frustration is not even a word right now. So annoyed.
There goes a perfect gift now the run around to get these tickets cancel... Thanks for nothing!
Stupid website design
I was excited to see that computicket revamped their booking website but then realized it was just as badly designed as the previous one. I
booked print at home tickets (what a mission!). Got email to say go to site to download but there was no function available on mobile site to do that. Both the mobile and desktop website designs are really quite stupid. Wish computicket would pull up their socks and get smarter website designers or just get out of the game and leave ticketing to the professionals... it's so annoying that a company so incompetent has such a large share of the market in this area.
Postponing of a booking

I had booked a holiday to Nelspruit via Computicket with a travel agent by the name of Mzukisi, it's not the first time I booked through Mzukisi, hence I went back to him for this planned holiday. He had booked The Bundu Lodge in Nelspruit from the 30/12/2018- 06/01/2019. I had paid full amount and confirmation letter was sent to me. On the 13th December 2018, I had received good news, I had got a new job, which I couldn't qualify to take leave for the holiday. The week of the 18th December, I emailed Mzukisi, informing him is it possible to postpone my trip for March 2019. I got a response that Mzukisi is on leave but Natelie will help me. She then communicated with the hotel and was told the free dates they have for March 2019 is from the 17th - 24th with a payment of R1430 as a cancellation policy states.. I had asked Natelie to send me the Cancellation policy, I didn't get a response. I send another email, stating that I'll take the Week of the 17th but I can pay the R1430 over two months( January and February), because initially this was not part of my plans. Then on the 28th December I got an email from Natelie that she just received a message from the operator, the change fee has gone up to R 4950.00(from R1430), we can cancel with a cancellation penalty of R 3501.00 and refund the balance to you.
I then sent an email at night and the following morning on the 29th, indicating we cancel the trip, then the remaining balance they can credit it to me. On the 31st December 2018, I receive an email from Natelia, "Please see below response from the operator:

Kindly note that the hotel advised our provider that the below reservation is a past dated so it was considered as no show and the penalty for it would be the full stay
Apologies As if we were to procced with the cancelation before the check in we would have got a waiver but according to the hotel the reservation as already been fully charged."
I personally feel like I'm being ripped off, at first there was no refund, then i had to top up with R1 430, then all of a sudden there is a refund, next thing I have forfeited all my money. I had paid R6 343.83.
I feel when it's time to pay back the money, they always try find a way of not paying it back. I'm quiet disappointed and hurt R6343.83 is alot of money that one can't accept not to be paid back for.
Date changes and unable to print tickets at home
Booked tickets for comic con months ago for sunday.
They changes the tickets to saturday, ok, fine...
Wanted somebody to collect the tickets for me as I only get the johannesburg on saturday for the event now but now, you have to collect them in person your self with the credit card you booked with...
Really? Why book tickets online if you have to go the shops anyway to collect the tickets... I want to be able to print them myself or better yet, not print them at all and have a bar code ticket that can be scanned at the event on my phone...
Apparently if you did not click the print at home option (which I actually did click but apparently was not logged by the system) you can never ever print them at home, unless you clicked this option before paying for your tickets...
Computicket cannot enable it from their side ever...
Useless and frustrating...
Email through my authorization letter, id and card number to them 3 separate times and to 3 separate client service people, still no feedback!

Comiccon tickets
I booked tickets for comic con in march 2018 for sunday 16 september 2018. My electronic email confirmation recieved showed this date. Tonight I went to collect my tickets from checkers to find my tickets are now for 15 september 2018. My children cannot attend due to school commitments. I have bought outfits and planned the day for the 16th. Now highly disppointed and find this totally unacceptable. This due to a technical error by computicket. No prior notificatification and communication in this regards.
If this is how we are expected to be treated then computicket shoukd know they should start making plans to close as this will not be tolerated by the public.
Same happened to me :( They also have the worst customer service EVER! I have spoken to 3 different people on 3 separate occasions in the last 2 days to try and sort this out and get copies of the tickets! Still no feedback after I emailed them all the details. Nobody should ever use Computicket!
Bad customer service
Have been twice to collect five tickets that has been booked and paid for a live show at Emperor's Palace on the 15th March at Computicket in Hyde Park without any success. The lady (Dudu) is rude, pointing fingers and demanding bank statements before issuing the tickets with a Reference number. This kind of customer service is totally unacceptable. Your looking into this matter is appreciated.
Tickets for josh groban concert
I was looking for Josh Groban Concert ticket in Suncity for Saturday the 27th November. I was told that the tickets for the 26th Nov 2011 tickets were sold out and what is left is the sunday tickets of the 27th November 2011. Two weeks later I saw on the internet that there were still tickets available for the 26th . Also I found from a friend that he got the tickets still available for the 26th Nov 2011. This is disturbing to me as a consumer that wrong information was given to me as a result I bought tickets on the day that is not a preferred day while people you bought tickets later than I were able to get the tickets on that very same day in which I was informed the tickets were sold out. IMy rights as a consumer have been violated by the act of conputicket official. Please assist that I may bbe able to get the ticket on the preferred day even if it is an upgrade ticket.
Forcing feet to inconvenience
The main reason for booking tickets online is for the convenience of not physically going to an outlet to pick up the actual tickets. Over and above, it would be assumed, as a result of your good planning, that you would not need to sit in a line at the event. It so happens that I purchases 3 tickets to the taste of joburg and need to collect these tickets physically from either computicket, checkers or shoprite. I complained online and the feedback (which was prompt) was more like a generic computer explanation that the reason for this is security. If I am not mistaken the banks and visa verification protects both the end user and the supplier of the tickets against any fraud, which I may add, adds time to process of booking on line on [hidden web address] my honest opinion is that they are using this method to force customers to visit their retail outlets and increase feet in their stores – this I take as an insult to all internet users and would expect computicket and shoprite to manifest a much simpler and direct method of delivering tickets to customers, as they are not achieving their objective of the internet’s simplicity.
