I hired corporate getaway to rent my unused rci's back in Nov 2021 at the price of $3,192.00
I hired corporate getaway to rent my unused rci's back in Nov 2021 at the price of $3,192.00. They told me give them 180 days to get everything in order and rented out. I was told that I would be making $14,400. Which I was happy to hear. However 180 days go by and I haven't heard from them, so I call them and I get a run around and then they told me or give them a couple more weeks to rent my units, which turned into months. Then they told me iam asking too much for them and I should drop my price to instead of $14,400 I would be getting $10,000. Ok, not being greeting I agreed to those terms and now here I sit with nothing done. I am seeking a full refund of $3,192.00. After I get my full refund, they can stop "trying" to rent my units. If I find out after I get a full refund of #3,192.00 and they went ahead and rented out my units, I will seek legal counsel and get my money for that as well. Christian B is the person I spoke to the very first day back in Nov 2021. I haven't heard from him since. He basically lied to me and took my money and disappeared. I have spoken with a lot of operators that can't help me with anything and they tell me that they will forward my message to the proper people only to have no one call me back. I have since talked to a gentleman named jlJohn C, he was pretty nice however as of yesterday (20sep22) he hasn't returned my phone call and texts. So this is what I want. I am done with this company. They are horrible people that steal other people's money. Promise one thing and never deliver. I want my full refund of $3,192.00 and be done with corporate getaway. Again if I don't get my full refund of $3,192.00, I will seek legal action and get way more than my full refund.

I was contacted by Corporate Getaway Rentals (CGR) in December and signed an agreement for CGR to market and rent out my timeshare (8 weeks)
I was contacted by Corporate Getaway Rentals (CGR) in December and signed an agreement for CGR to market and rent out my timeshare (8 weeks) through Marriott Bonvoy. I paid the $3,192 based on the assurances of the company representatives that they would be marketing my property for $1,800/week ($14,400 return for my initial $3,192). I was assured that this process would take about 60 days. Over the past ten + months I have reached out to and called CGR over 30 times to get updates on the status of the rental. In February, March, May and June I was told that offers for our timeshare weeks had been lined up/confirmed. In August however, I was informed by a representative that the offers would take longer than previously stated. The last contact was with a "supervisor" on 9/1 who called to tell me that CGR had rental offers for all of our 8 weeks and would call back to confirm status in three weeks. As of October 11th, I have yet to receive an update and/or call from the 'supervisor' about the status as promised on 9/1. Since that call, I have again reached out to the same CGR supervisor (called and left 5+ messages). I have also reached out to the other contacts that I have accumulated over the past 10 months (approximately 8 representatives) to find that most of the contact numbers no longer exist! Many of the same promises cited by previous Complaintsboard.com complaints (2022) were also made to me. I have made several attempts to resolve the issues/discrepancies that have occurred. I been leaving messages for the "supervisor" in good faith. With my latest call to CGR today, it appears that the person answering the main phone line is with a "service" who said she would forward my call to 'feedback' to let them know I have not received a call back. I have not provided individual names of these contacts in this complaint. I can provide both dates, times, names and contact numbers if needed.

On 12/09 Robert H*** (Rental Coordinator), believing he was a representative of Corporate Getaway Rentals for Hilton Grand Vacations,
On 12/09 Robert H (Rental Coordinator), believing he was a representative of Corporate Getaway Rentals for Hilton Grand Vacations, called regarding releasing 8 weeks of my exchange rentals for corporate getaways in which I would be compensated $1800 a week. I had to pay $3192 for guest passes to enable the weeks to be used by others. I was told this included a 180-day guarantee and that if the weeks were not rented Corporate Getaway would compensate me for them. I was given the direct number *** to contact him; however, my efforts were ineffective as he was never available and never returned my calls. I had to find alternate ways to contact someone for status and the lack of responses gave me the perception I'd been deceived. I was eventually put in contact with John C (Inventory Manager), and he assured me they were doing everything possible to get the weeks rented and stated that COVID held things up but since cities were reopening, he didn't see it taking longer. He advised that although we were coming on the 180 deadline that they would extend the time to ensure they could get the weeks rented. In November I tried to reach John C and now he's unavailable I was finally connected in November 2022 to Leo J and was told they have offers for only 3 weeks at $1100 per week and then the remaining 3 weeks would be rented in January at $1800 per week. He sent the offers to me; however, it was then explained that I had to reach out to RCI to confirm availability for specific weeks and for the Orlando area. The first offer didn't wield success as there was no availability; however, the second offer was available for specific dates in the Orlando area. The problem as Leo explained was that it wasn't Orlando although the resort was only 5 minutes away from the Convention Center. He was supposed to send me a third offer and now all communication has ceased.

We were contacted by Corporate Getaway Rentals in December about renting out our getaway weeks with Interval International
We were contacted by Corporate Getaway Rentals in December about renting out our getaway weeks with Interval International. We asked many questions regarding information about this arrangement and Christian answered all our questions. We were told that to activate our extra weeks we would pay an up-front fee of $3,192 to activate 8 weeks. We were promised a return of $1,800/week, totaling $14,400 and a profit of $11,231 after we repaid ourselves for the activation fees. We were told that there were rental requests available now and there is a 100% guarantee of this return of investment within 90 days. After thinking this over and looking into CGR (including their Complaintsboard.com rating), we paid Corporate Getaway Rentals the activation fee on December 3 and received a confirmation email with our property ID/account number on December 8. After this initial contact we heard nothing from CGR for months. In March we called the customer service desk for status of our getaway rentals. A new person returned our call saying a getaway request had been placed and they would get back to us soon. We did not receive any additional information. We called our initial contact person, Christian Banks whose telephone number was no longer in service. Between March and June 6, 2022 we called the customer service number twice. Each time we were told that no one was available to talk to us and someone would call back when someone was available. No one called us back, either time. We sent an email to CGR in June and received a reply to expect a call the next day. Gian C did call and said he would review our account and assured us he would get back to us in 2 weeks. We have not heard from him since then. Since June we have called the service center, leaving voice mail, and sent another email. We have not received a response to any of these contacts. I think you can understand why we now think Corporate Getaway Rentals is likely a Scam.

On February 2, 2022, Corporate Gateway Rentals contacted my wife about renting our 8 extra weeks at $1,600 per week through RCI
On February 2, 2022, Corporate Gateway Rentals contacted my wife about renting our 8 extra weeks at $1,600 per week through RCI. She was thorough in asking the CGR rep if this was a scam because it sounds to good to be true. The answer was no, this is not a scam. Normally she does not take these calls believing if it sounds too good to be true it can't be true, Well, we fell down the rabbit hole on this call. She was provided with the details from the CGR rep on how selling the 8 weeks would work for us but this would require paying $3,192 up front advertisement fee which was paid. A term in the agreement state CGR would advertise our time share weeks for 180 days. The 180 days expired in early August without any leads from CGR regarding our 8 weeks. It was at this time that we called CGR. CGR told us they were marketing our time share weeks for an additional 180 days. Another term in the agreement states CGR will provide our time share information to large corporations, access to website visitors, email subscribers and the vacationing public. We have not received this information from CGR. Another call to CGR. Mr. C answered this call. Promises were made that their marketing department is going market our 8 weeks for an additional 180 days. Told Mr. C this was not acceptable. More on this below. This has not been resolved. Have left voice mails to Mr. C in the last few weeks. He has not returned our calls. In closing this matter, as mentioned above there is another term in the agreement that states if we have not received offers for our weeks in the first 180 days (which we have not), CRG will renew membership at company's expense for 180 additional days upon our written request. We have not provided written request for the 180 additional days of marketing our weeks therefore 180 additional days does not apply. We are requesting 100% refund of $3,192 to our credit card that was charges as an activation fee on February 2, 2022.

Hello Mr Barton, I am in the same position as you are, I sold 4 weeks back in June 8,2021 and guess what? Is almost 2 years and they only have send me an offer letter for $1300 instead of $1800 I have requested upon our contract or agreement, I have been waiting 24 months and they keep saying they are working on it but since last year 2022 they keep telling me and nothing yet..
They don’t want to refund me for the other 3 weeks which is 399*3 =1197 and pay me for the three weeks at $1800 per week which is 5400. I’m not expecting for them to sell the and pay me at $1800 per week Because they are not going to do it but I do want the amount I pay for the rest of the 3 weeks.
I’m trying to get unless of 10 people going through the same situation to contact with evidence our local news and complaint about it on live Tv..
I was contacted by this company to allow them to market my unused RCI promotional weeks in connection with my ownership of a timeshare at Orange
I was contacted by this company to allow them to market my unused RCI promotional weeks in connection with my ownership of a timeshare at Orange Lake Resort. They advised that I had 8 such weeks that they could market for me at a price of $1,350 per week. It would be necessary to pay them an upfront fee of $399 for each week. The contract provides that it might take as long as 180 days to arrange such sales. The contract also provides: "If i have not received an offer I have the option to cancel at any time upon written request". On February 18, 2022 I signed an agreement to sell 3 of my weeks and paid them $1,197 which was charged to my credit card on February 18, 2022. The contract provides: "Once I have been contacted regarding an inquiry or an offer on a prospective renter or rental company, services have been rendered by Corporate Getaway Rentals." As of July 8, 2022, I had not been contacted in any way regarding any further activity in respect of this transaction. For several days before July 8, 2022 I attempted to reach my original contact leaving voice messages in each case. None of those calls were returned by anyone. Given these circumstances, I advised Corporate Getaways by Certified Mail Return Receipt that as no services had been performed by them, I was formally requesting a full refund of the $1,197 fee within 15 days of their receipt of the letter. The letter was hand delivered and signed for at 12:18pm on July 13. Nine days later, on July 22, 2022 I received a call from Corporate Getaways advising they had a buyer for my 3 weeks at $1,350 for each week. They were to send me a confirmation email the next day. I have never received any such email. I called them on July 27 leaving a message asking where the email was. No response. I left a message on August 1,2022-No response. I am requesting either specific performance on the never confirmed offer I was advised was in hand on July 22,2022, or a full refund as requested earlier.

As with the other customers' complaints, I received a call from Charles (I may have the name wrong) who said they were with RCI on January 23,
As with the other customers' complaints, I received a call from Charles (I may have the name wrong) who said they were with RCI on January 23, 2022. He claimed I had 8 weeks of unused timeshare weeks with RCI and he/RCI could sell them for me. All I add to pay was $2394 and they would resell and I'd make a profit. The next day I telephoned my*** Grand Vacations rep to inquire because what they said didn't make sense. Charles said I had 8 unused weeks yet I'd only had the timeshare for 2 years. The*** rep immediately told me that this was a scam and that*** had received many calls about this company, To make sure, she telephoned the real RCI while I was on the line and was told that they were trying to resolve this because they too had received several calls about the scam. After that call, I immediately telephoned my credit card company to stop the payment, but the payment had gone through. At that time I filed a complaint through ***, my credit card company. I received a letter today stating the company now Corporate Getaway Rentals said I had 10 days to cancel and since that didn't happen I would not receive a refund. *** sent me the contract that I never saw or signed. However, on the contract, it does state the company is RCI. I call Corporate Getaways today and spoke with Dennis, he said he was just the receptionist and someone would call me back but he couldn't say when. Please note I never received a contract stating I only had 10 days and both Corporate Getaways and RCI are listed on the paperwork/contract. I join with others who have been taken advantage of and truly hope you will be able to help me. I am a senior citizen and can't believe an organization would intentionally go about doing this to anyone. One other point my*** rep looked up was the number that Charles gave me on the internet and the telephone number was attached to a VIP Getaways. He said VIP was with RCI. I'm attaching both what she found, along with a contract.

You stole $2,394 on May 2023 after telling me you would rent out my unused RCI timeshares. You did nothing to help me, you only stole my money.
The lady called in November, 2021 and said I can rent out my timeshare at Las Palmeras for 6 weeks at $ 1,375 per week provided I have to pay an upfront fee of $ 1,100.
Nothing ever came about this since then.
I see several similar complaints about this company called Corporate Getaway Rental. It should be called "We Getaway with Your Money"!
The only way to resolve our complaint, is to refund $2394.
