Coserv is charging me electri bill $174.81 they know I have not used . They have an adhesive relationship with my apartment complex where u are not allowed the freedom to choose the numerous available electric companies but only them for service and when u move out even though the complex has the apartment and are using the place and Coserv knows this they would still send u the bill to pay claiming they cannot do any thing about it. I need them to give the bill to the apartment complex that used their electric and not punish me because they know they are bigger than me.

I had an estimate of work from Coserv in 2020, where I decided not to have the work done. After 2 years, I received a phone call from their finance dept. saying I have not paid for that work, in which I repeatedly told them it was never completed. After talking with their engineering dept., they agreed that the work order expired and no work was done. After a few months of back and forth with their finance dept., they still have my invoice 'on hold', and they can not clear this issue, even after waiting on their own engineering dept. to tell them its void. Work order is XXXXXXX.

re: Old acct# XXXXXXXXXXXXX -Just moved back into state after a seven year absence. -Started Electric service with Coserv since they are the only electric provider for my address. -After the first bill Coserv transferred a $444.20 electric bill from an old account that they said we didn't pay (as well as a $94.40) -We did pay it. -They said to show proof of payment via a cancelled check (from 13 years ago) or our electricity would be disconnected. which isn't possible since banks don't keep their records that long. -Our only option would be to pay the bills twice or not have electricity.

I WOULD LIKE THIS ESCALATED TO MANAGEMENT ABOUT A METER THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY NOT READ ON 2/20. IT WAS REREAD ON 2/22. I WAS BILLED ON AN ADJUSTED BILL FOR 1/18/2 EVEN THOUGH IT WAS APPARENTLY READ ON 2/22. IT WAS BEYOND MY 33 DAYS OF BILLING CYCLE. THEY STATED THEY COULD NOT ACCESS METER BECAUSE OF LOCKED GATE. MY GATE HAS ALWAYS BEEN LOCKED FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS OF BEING IN THIS HOME AND NEVER UNLOCKED FOR METER READS. I WANT A SUPERVISOR TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.

I believe Coserv is manipulating my bill and possibly reporting fake usage. The reason I believe this is because my Bill went from $58 to -->$118-->to $149. My usage is same, nothing changed but bill kept increasing for last few months. Some time back they knocked on my door and told me that they need to replace my meter as its not reading properly. After replacing, i am getting a higher bill. I believe they are just billing higher to recuperate the cost when the meter was not working. THEY ARE BILLING ILLEGALLY TO THE CUSTOMERS because they know that customers will not/cannot refute the usage or bill.

Former customer from 2002, somehow still on their books as they love loose ends. Every year like clock work I can check for less than 5 cents on an inactive account from 2002. According their customer service, the board must decide when accounts are closed and fully cashed out. So I have a balance of around $5 collecting dust to infinity. I am going to shredding all mailings I get from this company. I will not be cashing any of their checks, so hopefully that screws up their accounting. I have tried to contact them numerous times over the last 2 decades, but they refuse to resolve the situation and close the account.

From Dec 2020 to July , Coserv have been over charging me on my electric and gas bill, the house was built Dec 2015 T closed on it Feb 2016 so its been unoccupied since Dec 2017, so for 4 years the temperature was set at 68 in the winter and 72 in the summer and my bill was always $184 up to $486 dollars, I returned home June 8, now my bill is $301 with nothing being used except a shower a day and wash clothes 2x during the billing cycle no cooking or dishwasher being used and my gas usage is high no gas leak had it checked on 23 Jul 21, I don't know what they are doing but I know for sure my bill shouldn't have been that high every month for a empty house, when no one was living at the house.

Charging me for somebody elses electric, my mistake was using autopay, never use autopay with this company, they will STEAL YOUR MONEY, I was talking about this with someone else and they said this company did the same to him, im gonna take my account off autopay for sure, but I want my money back its for rent and its during coronavirus, I don't think they know how Karma works, but when the president mandates no bills, except rent, and they over charge me by ALOT, they need to be reported, if I need how to get it to the higher authorities, I would, I may look into getting a lawyer

I told him that he is not reading my meter at all in which is there's not because of COVID-19. I'm not home I'm always working or out of town and when I am home nothing on. They had someone scheduled to call me August 17 which is they had called the phone rang once and hung up and when I tried to call back they never picked up and I've been calling all day. CoServ refuse to share additional bill cost due to continued outages they scheduled during freezing temps in Feb 2021. Dishonest unethical company. During the freezing Texas temperatures of February CoServ was having continued scheduled outages every 60 minutes or so. Because of it, I had to maximize heat production inside my home while the electricity was on, so I could have warm temperatures inside the house while the electricity was off. As you all know, when you force your heating system to produce heat, your energy consumption & cost goes up, when compared to having the heating system on at a reasonable temperature and consistently working throughout the day. So, my bill went from an average $200 to $321. I explained this to CoServ but shame on them, they gave me a politically correct answer and refused to take responsibility for the extra cost. SHAME ON COSERV.

On the July bill we just received, the gas usage is completely incorrect. The actual current number on our gas meter as of today (07/07/2022) is 355. But on Coserv bill, it was 2,187 . This is impossible and unacceptable. I was almost fainted when I received the bill and thought there must be a massive gas leak in our house. I checked everything and found that there is nothing wrong with us, but the weird number on our bill which caused the bill to almost $3K. I don't know how you get the number 2,187 but it's absolutely mistake and need to be fixed asap. We tried to call to Coserv 3 times and talked to 3 different customer service agents, all of them said that they will send email to Billing Dept to fix this, but no one takes action. Every time I talk to them, they have no idea with my problem, they confirmed that there is no note on our account about this billing issue. I also sent email to [protected]@coserv.com but no response so far. I'm not going to pay $3K for a mistake from Coserv. Please take action and do your business in well manner.

But where does it say to lie cheat and steal, manipulate the customers. The summer billing was totally fraud, I'm working, 12 hours outside my home my thermostat was on 85-90, my.bills have never been this high. In September, I turned off my unit completely, it has NOT ran since September , but my bill is high. COSERV SAYS BASED ON THE TEMPUTURE, I will using 6.25 per day in my heating bill. ( really by who's calculation if my heating Unit is totally turned off. I nean off no fan , nothing is running. ).SO THATS HOW I KNOW WITHOUT A doubt coserv has been cheating me for a full.year since the ice storm. Yes I have contacted them, BS customer service run around. Then they told me to keep my unit on. I've tried to.get Mt actually daily ready, it's never always available. I don't have children, Coserv is charging me based on my house size and 2.1 house. That's fraud .. but the tariff doesn't allow them to commit fraud.

On March 28th, 2022, CoServ started utility services at *** S. *** Road *** McKinney, TX. XXXXX. On April 8th, *** received an email at 4:30 pm stating a previous bill was found for an address at 1300 Custer Road 6301 McKinney, TX. XXXXX eight years previous and that debt would be transferred to the new account. *** contacted CoServ on 04/11/2022 and explained to Rhonda *** (Revenue Recovery Manager) the debt did not belong to her, how could they transfer a debt that is not legally binding because the statute of limitation had run out, and without ***'s consent make her pay a bill that she is disputing. *** explained that while they are doing their investigation and she is getting legal advice that if she makes one payment on the bill, she is now obligated to pay the disputed amount. ***, who is not on the lease, asked for services to be disconnected on 04/14/2022. *** then applied for service and currently is being denied due to CoServ Section 303.2 of CoServ's Tariff for Electric Service, subsection A6, prevents services from being transferred to avoid payment of charges for service. No, he applied for service to avoid service interruption. CoServ is using deceptive practices to make consumers pay bills that legally they can no longer demand payment for and again, *** has no knowledge about the address or bill at 1300 Custer Road 6301 McKinney, TX. XXXXX. Also please keep in mind, that Rhonda advised *** to make a police report, give her a full lease for that time period and two pieces of mail from eight years ago.

Started coserv services back in 2016 when my wife at the time and I moved into a house. Bill always paid on time, unfortunately my ex wife and I split and I moved out of the house in August but continued paying the bill. I continued to get the bill at my new address and made sure it was getting paid. I finally got her to switch the electric into her name so I would no longer be responsible for it and when it was finally removed from me I contacted Coserv and made sure it was no longer active and to complete any balance remaining. I was told with the last payment made leaving no balance and everything was done and good to go. I had not heard from Coserv again, no email (which i got every month) and no invoice in the mail (which I got every month) so I thought all was complete. Today, 08/06 I receive an email that my credit score dropped 100 points due to a balance of $198 due to coserv. Absolutely shocked, I contacted customer service and a very nice lady had trouble accessing my account, finally found it and explained the situation as best as she can see it obviously. She was very nice but couldnt help. If I do truly owe $198 that is fine I will pay it but I need this removed from my credit report, I was not only not notified in any capacity which again is ironic since every single month I was receiving both emails and bill in the mail when I had service but cant send out either when a final balance is due, its like Coserv was vindictive with me shutting off service in my name, especially since I called and spoke with someone that said everything is clear and done and no balance back in Feb!

disputed with Coserv my balance, Coserv told me a manager would reach out and discuss. No contact was ever made and amount was sent to credit agency I moved from the address serviced by Coserv. Coserv demanded more than I agreed owed and indicated they would research and a manager would contact in a couple weeks to discuss resolution. No such outreach ever took place, and the amount I did not agree to was forwarded to a collection agency and ultimately reported negatively on my credit. Once discovered I contacted Coserv and Kevin Flores (Revenue Recovery specialist) confirmed that Coserv promised to review the disputed amount with me and have someone in leadership reach out to discuss and find resolution (calls were recorded) - and that Coserv failed to honor this agreement. After weeks of waiting for Kevin to review how Coserv could resolve their mistake, he contacted me by phone and indicated Coserv's position was that I had to pay the disputed amount and after this was paid they would request to remove the negative report from my credit. I moved from the home in early August (left State) and notified Coserv of this move and requested disconnection. Coserv is now stating they cant locate the call since I called from a Hotel I was staying in during move. Coserv failing to honor the promise of reviewing the disputed amount and contacting me to discuss options has caused Severe damage to my credit and as hurt me and has caused me over $30,000 in lost opportunities due to damaged credit and has caused me to pay higher fees for credit extended. I am attaching proof from my previous leaser that I moved from residence in early August Kevin Flores acknowledged that Coserv dishonored their commitment and indicated that the person who works for Coserv was reprimanded - further validating fault

They gave me someone else's account number last month
They gave me someone else's account number last month. They said they fixed it but I am still paying that other person's bill. Two months in a row! January CoServ opened a new app to pay our electric bills through. In order to use the app they have to set up your account for you on their end. So I messaged them requesting that my account be set up. I gave them all the necessary information they needed to set up my account. Note that i have been a customer of their's for 4 years. They set up the account and I was able to log in. It immediately told me that my delinquent. This freaked me out so I hurried to pay the "delinquency" because it was threatening me with service shut off the next day (X-XX-XXXX). After I paid the bill it popped up with someone else's name and address. I investigated the issue because that was obviously not me. It turns out that they had assigned another person's account to my name... I have this other person's personal information in front of me. I was told by some friends that this is a major violation of the The fair credit reporting act and The Gramm Leach Bliley act. So, CoServ assured me they would fix the issue immediately and I would have nothing to worry about. They gave me the correct account number and set it up under my name and transferred the credit to my account. Note that my account was up to date and has never been delinquent. They even said they would give me a credit for my inconvenience. No credit was added... Fast forward to February 5th. I checked my bank account and it shows that I am still paying the other person's bill. I do not think it's okay that they still have my bank account information on their account. I ended up paying their $384 electric bill this month when my personal bill is only $86. Tell me how that is right. I have submitted another complaint with CoServ today February 7th. This is not right and I have stressed about this problem far more than I ever should have. I'm just happy that this did not over draft my bank account...
