Customer service
I have ordered from CreativeCookware for the past 10 years now and I have always been satisfied. Even with my Christmas purchase of my copper polenta pan which had a slight manufacturing defect on the handle, so I called their toll free number that directed me to their email. I quickly sent an email to their customer service department and in less than 30 minutes I received an email responding to me that they were sending a replacement that very same day. They also told me they would cover my shipping expenses for the return item which has already been credited on my credit card. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family. As an avid chef I can find very specific cookware pieces at creative cookware and I truly believe their customer service is bar none.

Nonrefund
Purchased a Fabrio MRO 1?2 Hp Electric Tomato Machine through CreativeCookware.com at a cost of $419.99. It was defective (metal shavings in apples I processed). I returnd the item to Creative Cookware, 3900 Pl de Java. Unit 101, Brossard Quebec, Canada J4Y-0C4 via instructions recieved from "Joe". The cost to return it was over $100 and the company refused to pay return shipping on the faulty machine. That was over a month ago and I still have no refund to my credit card. I have sent at least 3 emails to Joe and this company. No response from them at all. Stay away from this company...buy in the USA, is my best advice.
The company issued a full refund back to my credit card. I am totally satisfied now & thank you Joe @ Creative Cookware.
I have been dealing with "JOE" for the past week.. I place an order on the 9th of January and then realized i wanted to upgrade the size (a pressure cooker) and emailed back the changes. Joe finally responded saying that they didn't have either model would I like to wait for 2 weeks until new shipment arrived? I indicated NO and that I would like a full refund...he stated that the 'order had been cancelled and i would get my refund back'. Which has not happened yet and I was charged American funds, which the site gave no indication of such practice! My credit card company is now dealing with this issue...I should of known better...after scanning the website, the company has no address or contact numbers just one email address. I only found this site due to the charge on my Visa Card which indicated a Quebec address...stay away from this shoddy company!
Online Order
Ordered Le Creuset braiser online. Credit card immediately charged. Told item would take 10 days to arrive. Next email said item not available and full refund would be given. Company shorted me $15.93 and would not reply to my email. I suspect "Joe" is illiterate and has some anger issues. Avoid this company at all costs!
Instead use citychef.ca who delivered the same item in 3 days!
Buyer beware...

Purchase not received, no person to contact, no address.
I may have just been ripped off ( like many others on this site ) by this so called " Joe" person. I should have looked closer at the web site and reviewed customer complaints online, before giving this business my trust. I have begun credit card charge back for non receipt of goods, will wait one more week, only. My credit card company says this business is located in Quebec..but there is no address visible on their web site and no answer to that telephone number they have listed for contact. I sent a few emails and warned that if I did not receive the exact item I paid for, within seven more days.. I would be proceeding to charge back. That email was replied to generically.. But there was no ship date included. This may well be a fraudulent company.. Seven
more days and I will know for sure..if this is indeed a crooked business. " Joe " is a
suspicious name.. May not be a real name. I will be much more cautious with online shopping, in future. I have not had problems, until now. I usually use well known companies.. This is the first time with unknown business name. I should have been more careful !
This "JOE" person is a prime example of a "dirt bag"! IF this is a legitimate business, which I doubt, it should be shut down. After placing my order I weore a simple question about the product. His answer was n ot responsive. So I wrote back and highlighted my original questions. He responded with extraordinary remarke - like we do not need you businees take it elsewhere. GREAT customer service! STAY AWAY fro this company! Ther STINK!
Madoline
Buyer Beware! I Purchased a food slicer mandoline advertised on the web site to be able to make up to 1/2" slices at $89.99. Once I received the item it turns out it can only slice up to 3/8" slices. Furthermore, when trying to make thick onion slices for onion rings there is a bracket underneath that causes the onion rings to break. I requested and received an RMA number but return postage was going to cost nearly $45 so I sent a message asking for a call tag or account for return shipping. No response. This company had bad information/specs on the web site and VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
This company is a scam outfit - no physical address and no live phone - just a voice
message advising you to send them an email. I was able to get Mastercard to demand a charge reversal but the crooked outfit charged me $17.00 by using American-Canadian buy-sell fees. And my order was cancelled immediately because they had to back order the item and I needed it within the next week.
Do not believe the testamonials on their site - look for independent reviews.
Deceit and No honor
Buyer beware! I ordered and paid for a: 3 Qt Torchietto Stainless Steel Press for $89.99. But what I received was the smaller one: 2 Qt press. I verified that it is the smaller one, because the one sent by them holds no more than 2 quarts of liquid, not the 3 Qts that I require and paid for. I further verified that it was smaller when placed next to my friend's 3 Qt Torchietto press. I lived in Europe for 15 years, so have vast knowledge of centimeter measurements. Was hoping that it was sent by mistake, but obviously Creative Cookware sells crap and lies! I wanted to exchange the smaller one in my possession for the larger correct one that I ordered and paid for. They wouldn't bother with the exchange and not only made me pay for the return, but charging a restocking fee. What you get is not what you pay for with them, plus NO customer service. DON'T ORDER THROUGH THEM!
CORRECTION: My complaint is against CREATIVE COOKWARE in ONTARIO, CANADA! I have no complaint against Creative Cookware, LLC in California. Most American businesses answer the phone, and the LLC did AND were nice. That Canadian company is bogus! Buyer beware from buying from Canada.

They have really great prices- better than everyone else- too good to be true even and with an additional discount if you like them on facebook. I did get a refund for my purchase because they did not have the items in stock. 2 items I ordered. both not in stock. I guess I'm lucky I got a refund. No customer service what so ever. No phone number to reach anyone either. Awful company.
I have just experience the same issues as noted above. My husband purchased a stuab kettle for my for my birthday, from Creative Cookware. You can only imagine how disappointed I was when I discovered a large chip missing from the edge of the spout, possibly due to the kettle being packaged with no padding inside of the actual Staub box before being shipped. I inspected the box closely and found no sign of the chipped-off piece, which was surprising because it was a sizable chip. We were told that the kettle could be exchanged, but that we would have to cover the cost of return shipping.
The cheapest return shipping I was able to purchase for this kettle was $37.40 USD, in other words over a full third of the kettles original price. When the company received my package, ignored the exchange and refunded us instead. At this point, we have essentially paid $37 to open, repackage, and return a tea kettle that was clearly broken before we received it.
I mailed the kettle in its original packaging with extra paper packed around the chipped area. When I wrote to explain my frustration, Joe wrote back and said that they "received the kettle is such bad scratched up shape and poor packaging" that they couldn't re sell it, and that he did me a favor by refunding the original price instead of charging me for the damage.
Filing a complaint with the BBB now. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Totally agree with the above comments on creativecookware.com! Can't believe he/ they can get away with not having a disclaimer on their return policy which is very deceptive at best! If an item is bought in the USA, it should be returned in the USA... ESPECIALLY when an American address is published as their American base! The buyer is being deceived into thinking that they are dealing with an American company... which it's not! Instead, a buyer is trapped in a no win situation that benefits the seller when things aren't right...that's not how good business is done. My situation dealt with exorbitant return shipping costs to Canada when an item did not meet my expectations. I cut my losses instead of losing out on more $$ just to return the unwanted item. But I'm not taking this sitting down either. When there's no other option for justice, write an online review!
Stay away from this company. They're charging me $38.00 to return a tomato mill. They NEVER disclosed that they are located in Canada, nor did they disclose the exuberant return shipping charge. I will dispute the charges with my credit card and file a BBB complaint against them.
Had a similar issue with www.creativecookware.com. Seems as if the whole company is run by 1 guy named Jose or Joe and never answers phone. Ordered pasta machine which arrived used and rusted! Web site also listed made in Italy but was made in China! I have ordered from several other Canadian companies and had great results I think the issue is with this online company only.
