credit rebuild
I had an issue of payment irregularities, a credit score as low as 500s. Getting a score on an excellent fix was my aim and target, as a matter of fact, I lost my job during the process, to meet up my family responsibilities became my greatest nightmare ever. I had to shuffle the internet all day to get help before Ethan, who was a good friend of mine recommended 760PLUS CREDIT SCORE, I was astonished when I got in touch with them and they were very friendly and promised to get it fixed within 7days. To my greatest surprise, on the 5th day I was asked to check my credit score which I did and it was fixed as promised, evictions, repos all cleared . If you're having the same issues I had, all you do is visit [protected]@GMAIL.COM and your bad credit will be fixed.

They sent me a letter in the mail about an old account that been closed in 2016. You can't reach anyone on the phone that is when I knew this company is not legit. Please be careful people with these fake collection companies.
Called me on my cell I didn't answer then called my job Kept trying to get me to verify my address social security I refused and asked what this was about they wouldn't comply i told them to never call my job again...I called them back on my cell phone still wouldn't tell me what this was about unless i verified personal information I refused and said I didn't have to tell them as far as I am concerned this is a scam and harassment and want them to cease calling at once or I will get my attorney to sue them for illegal collection practices
I have never gave my contact info or SSN to this business. Neither other businesses that I'm dealing with have any knowledge about this company. Somehow they got my SSN and credit report. ... I'm not o.k. with this fact of stealing my personal data and requesting to invoke their license permanently

I had made a settlement payment with Halstad Financial Services for my Credit One Credit Account that was paid and settled for back in April 23rd. Yesterday, I received a letter from Credit Control, a collection that was NOT on my credit report, for 3 options to make a payment for the Credit One Account, the account that was already paid in FULL with Halstad, whom was on my Credit Report. I have documents and receipt payment from Halstad Financial and I want Credit Control to CEASE AND DESIST on contacting me or harassing me for a payment that was already settled. The payment was paid for and I feel this is fraud that Credit Control, LLC is doing and I want it to end.

All I want to do is settle a Debt and pay for it. After being transferred 3 different times. Alisha said we can settle for 892.00. I told her that is acceptable as long as I receive a email with the terms, She said she would send it. I called the next day again being transferred 3 different times. Alisha said her supervisor was working on those and I would receive 2 hours. Still 5 days later and nothing. I want to settle this debt. Do I need to get a lawyer involved? I want to pay them and its not happening. I would not use this company if I were a company trying to collect on Debt.
I think their attempts at debt collection are borderline harassment. They called me and as soon as I verify that I am the person they are looking to reach. Then ask my birthdate and request that I verify. Upon this request I point out that I will not verify until they can verify or advise me on what seems to be the nature of their call, a company name would have sufficed. Instead I was told it was about a personal business matter. When I pressed further for a company name, I was abruptly told that if I refused to verify and didn't want to cooperate that I could just call them back. So I did and the first question I asked on the second call was what is the name of their company. To this person #2 responded that they could connect me with the person that was trying to contact me. I waited approx. 2 minutes to silence, hung up and called again, this time directly to a manager? Suspicious right? This time I state that they are using corrupt business methods and are mandated by law to disclose the company they are employed, especially if this is in a matter to collect a debt! Finally I am told they are Credit Control. Then I asked to look up the website and person #3 (a manager at the company? or as stated) condescendingly responds that "it's called Google" as I look this up and reveal that they are a credit collection company I state that now maybe I'd be willing to continue the verification process but that their process was inappropriate and unprofessional especially when the conversation could've easily been resolved by just disclosing the company name in the first place. I was then responded with, and I quote, "Since you are 'still' unwilling to comply with the verification request, you have a nice day. I'm am reacting at this point with a, did you not hear a word I said but only state that I had just finished saying how much more willing I am now that I know this is a 'real' organization and not some spam business. That I didn't appreciate this 3rd guy now behaving as though I'm the lunatic on the line cause I called them out on their unprofessional methods and techniques. I will be reporting them also. No wonder they only have a B+ rating by the Complaintsboard.com and have had over 75 cases of complaints against them. They are borderline HARRASSING their debtors!
What a joke. I received 2 letters for 2 different accounts that I had never done business with, I am doing debt consolidation so I checked what accounts they were dealing with as well as my credit report to make sure that I was correct. I was. So I called the phone number and some rude person answers the phone and it went downhill from there. I kept telling him they weren't my accounts but he was more concerned about giving me his speech. And just like one of the other reviews, he said he would hang up on me if I didn't let him finish his speech. So he tells me the accounts are from [protected]. And they're with companies I again tell him I have never had credit with. He then tells me that they are included with the debt consolidation I am doing. Puhleeeeese. I looked all that up before I even called. LAUGHABLE how they must think people are just stupid. Finally he tells me that we can end this call quickly if I just dispute these chargers. I said "what do you think I've been telling you this whole time"?

i have been harassed via mail for two years now. They say i owe on a bill that i have NEVER had. My name has NEVER been attached to the acct. # that appears on the letter they sent me. The supposed "ORIGINAL ACCT" Creditors say that i indeed DO NOT OWE THEM A DIME! The harassment continues.

I received a collections letter in regards to an account that has already been dismissed in court several years ago
I received a collections letter in regards to an account that has already been dismissed in court several years ago. This debt was fraudulent and dismissed on April 4th. I contacted the toll free number on the collection letter to simply obtain an email address for the company as it was not listed to forward those documents. I spoke with *** and asked for the email which she refused to provide until I verified information. I advised *** that a company email address is not privileged information and then requested to speak to a supervisor. *** continued to interrupt me and stated "well maybe I'm a supervisor, so verify who you are." I asked if it was their practice to deny an escalation of a call three times. Then *** loudly laughed on the phone and transferred the call. How incredibly unprofessional your staff is and I'm surprised you collect any sort of money with behavior like that. I am still debating on filing a lawsuit in regards to a debt that has been dismissed in a court of law and a violation of FDCPA for harassment during contact with this company.

Account # *** I requested verification of my debt, including each purchase made, with date of purchase and location as part of an ongoing investigation into fraud. The debt has been on my credit report jumping form creditor to creditor. When I request the detailed verification, the debt is sold from one collection agency to another. Credit Control, LLC provided me with a verificaiton of the total amount but cannot provide verification of the purchases, the dates they were made or where they were made and for what products. I was medically incapacitated at the time of the debt and am only now able to verify and investigate the fraudulent activity, which they cannot provide. In the meantime, the debt has held me back from employment opportunities as well as housing rentals. and car loans. I would like the debt removed from my credit report immediately as they failed to provide proper verification and there are several collection agencies claiming the same fraudulent debt on my report.
I am not liable for this debt with Credit Control LLC and do not have a contract with them. They did not provide me with the original application like I asked. Also they violated my rights under: 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 U.S.C 1692C Without the prior consent given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt
Late October 2022 I received a debt collection letter from Credit Control, LLC stating that I owed $37.09 to *** PA. I put the letter to the side thinking it was a scam as I had just been in the *** on 09/30/2022 and had not yet received a bill from the hospital itself or my insurance. On 11/04/2022 I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance and contacted them to see if I did in fact owe anything. Turns out I didn't they fully covered the visit and the letter is in fact a clerical error from the provider or a scam and the provider does not bill using that name they bill from the hospital they are part of and try for a minimum of 6 months to collect themselves before selling the debt. I have not received any bills from the hospital and even contacted them directly and they have no record of the debt as again my insurance covered it in full.
I received a letter from Credit Control, LLC, February 22,2022 regarding a debt to *** for my spouse *** and I
I received a letter from Credit Control, LLC, February 22,2022 regarding a debt to *** for my spouse *** and I ***. This debt was for a voluntary return of a vehicle July 23,2020 due to Covid 19 and the loss of employment for my husband during that time. I made arrangements with *** and was paying them monthly. I contacted Credit Control, LLC 2/27 as the balance was incorrect as stated in the letter I received. I sent them verification as requested with payment receipts, dating 2/26 through 1-31--22 to ***. I did not get a response, so I called Credit Control, LLC 6-24-22 requesting a letter stating the balance has been corrected. I was informed by *** and *** that I had to send an email stating I no longer dispute the issue before they would send me a letter regarding the correct balance. I maintain and advised the above persons that I would not discharge the dispute until they provide me in writing the corrected balance for the ***. I will then make arrangements with Credit Control, LLC to pay what I owe.

Credit Control LLC you are unlawfully contacting me and trying to collect money from me for another debt collector that has inaccurate and unverified information on my credit report. By law after 30 days this alleged debt must be deleted. It has been over 45 days, this debt is not mine. Cease and desist all reporting of this alleged debt asap

To whom this may concern
To whom this may concern. I have an issue. I had a 2008 nissan altima purchased in 2012. I payed off for this vehicle but apparently there was remaining tax that wasn't payed. Which cause a lean to be on my vehicle. However I got into an accident where the car is total lost so the insurance write off the car. In order for me to be payed the lean has to be removed. I spoke with Adrian Boyd on a recorded line at gave him all my information even set up to make a payment in the amount of $416.00 which was debited from my account 7/22/22. He told me I could reach him but all I'm getting is voice-mail. He gave me this number *** and when I call all I can do is leave messages. I called several other numbers and just been getting the run around. Is like all the numbers are link. Is like I'm going around in a circle. All I want is the lean to be removed. I also need correspondence that I payed 416.00 on 7/22/22 and when the lean will be removed. I'm so frustrated and would like matter resolved as soon as possible. My phone# *** and my email is *** Thank again Your prompt response is greatly appreciated

Upon creating a settlement agreement, I was told I would receive a receipt for each payment applied, this was not true. When applying double payment one month with leadership, I was not told until after the fact that I had missed payment and that a payment was required once per month this was not in initial documentation. I was also misinformed when contacting that I was paid to date, this was not true. This resulted in issues and had I had appropriate correspondence which was requested by *** when I began payments as well as on each call and I finally said I would settle for e*** when leadership asked me to speak to his "assistant. These miscommunications resulted in leadership who was the one who accepted my double payment one month stating that they would still honor the agreement. Of course, they would have to as all payments were made within the contractual agreement. There was no regard for the customer experience even for someone who was adamantly trying to make timely payments and adhere to all contractual obligation. They should pick one person to handle an account and send all correspondence requested so that an individual has the best opportunity to complete payments and better their credit. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE the verbiage was vague and negligent seemingly fraudulent.
I received a letter of collection with options to pay and the first option was discounted rate if paid by 8//5/22 I paid and they received on 7/22/22. In the amount of $622.00 now they are sending me a bill for the remaining balance of $620. 47 , I have a copy of the agreement and a copy of my check . Will please resolve this . Thank you

I received a call last week from this company and they immediately asked for my name, date of birth, and other highly personal identifying information (I believe the last 4 of my social but I can't fully remember). When I asked what they were calling about, they said they couldn't disclose that. When I asked who was calling, they said they could give me the name of the company. When I asked what their company does (I.e. debt collections, credit cards, etc), they said they were a financial institution but couldn't say anymore until they had my private information. I told them unless they'd disclose the type of call, I wouldn't give them any information, and the person just said "ok have a good day" and hung up. I looked up the company name after only to find out they're a debt collections agency. To my knowledge, according to the ***, debt collectors are required to identify themselves as such. Saying "financial institution" instead of saying they were a collections agency is failing to identify themselves as a debt collector, and thus breaking *** guidelines. I'm not sure what debt they may have of mine, but I sure won't be giving them any of my info considering how shady their practices seem to be.

Credit control has contacted me several times and I have reached out to them through email and telephone calls only to be harassed and threatened. They have a collection from a *** account which I never had and this account was cleared up with *** 4 years ago and they had removed it knowing that it was a fraudulent account and it was not mine. Then out of the blue this collection company credit control starts harassing me for a debt that's not mine and I tried to explain this to them but they still won't stop threatening me. I had noticed on reviews that this company has done this to many other people and that they have a very bad review and tried to get people to pay for things that are not theirs. Please help me as this is not my collection debt and I want them to stop contacting me and to remove any negative information they have put on my report. On this collection form they have an account of *** for 671.32. I don't know what to do because they are very rude unprofessional and are practicing collection practices that are not legal. Again this is not my debt I never had a *** I'd already cleared this up with *** over 4 years ago and then out of the blue this collection company starts contacting me. This collection company should not be collecting and they should not be buying debts that have already been resolved with the original account holder. Thank you for your time and please help me stop this credit collection company from doing this to other people which they have a reputation of doing over and over again with no consequences against them.

I received a collection notice dated 11/3 from Credit Control LLC reference Acct # *** regarding my account with their client, *** in the amount of $166.00. On 12/15, I called Credit Control LLC and spoke to one of their representatives. They advised that this collection was due to an overdraft in my bank account on 9/7. I explained to the rep that I have never had any connection with ***, aka: *** (***). *** and *** merged and are now ***. *** advised that a copy of the judgment will be mailed to me. Upon written request from me within 30 days, Credit Control LLC will provide me with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor? This is not my bank, I do business with ***, and I have not had any overdrafts. The rep asked me if I thought this was fraud and I said, "Yes." The rep stated he would place documentation in Managers box marked as fraud. I also received the same billing dated 11/5 from MRS BPO, LLC. Their client is ***. The MRS Acct # is *** for $166.00. I contacted MRS BPO and they wanted my SSN (which I would not provide). I advised the rep that I would tell him my phone # and address and he stated he needed my SSN in order to verify it was me. I also explained to that rep that I have never had any dealings with ***; nor any overdrafts with them from 9/7. I am confused as to why two different companies are collecting for the same bill (overdraft which never occurred). My bank (Seven Seventeen Credit Union) would send me an alert if I had low funds in my account. I simply want both of these companies off of my credit report. Thank you.

I was contacted by Credit Control, LLC via mail and offered an amount I could pay to settle my account "as paid in full"
I was contacted by Credit Control, LLC via mail and offered an amount I could pay to settle my account "as paid in full". I spoke with several employees at the company as well as at the "Creditor" company they were representing, Lending Club, who all assured me that it would no longer be indicated on my credit report as an unpaid debt, but instead, it would show as being resolved per agreement. Upon receiving that assurance, I cashed out my retirement and paid the debt as agreed and several other debts that had fallen behind due to Covid. To date, this debt remains on my credit report as still remaining due and as a monthly late payment. I now have another company, ***, who is calling me regularly to collect the remainder of the debt. I intend to file against all three companies as it feels like something that all three should be very aware of and something they likely are doing on a regular basis. I conducted the same type of settlement with other lending institutions and credit collectors without issues. Credit Control LLC promised me they would provide a letter within 5 days stating that the debt had been resolved. I have called them repeatedly for the letter and have only received copies of the same letter that I have attached to this complaint that says it "WILL BE CONSIDERED RESOLVED". Since they admit to having received my certified check that DID clear the bank, as is obvious since the credit is also noted on my credit file, then they should hold up their end of the agreement. It should also be noted that the representatives I talked with assured me that they had to get approval from the creditor before making the agreement with me. They said it would be approximately 30 days to have my credit report cleared and it has now been almost a year. Please help me!

This complaint is in reference to Credit Control R# ***
This complaint is in reference to Credit Control R# ***. I received a letter stating that I was referred to collections for an account I am not aware of, is currently not on my credit report and allegedly became delinquent 9 years ago. This is the second company with my PII and attempting to collect a debt that is not mine. I am disputing this outrageous defamatory, reckless and harassing claim that has put me under emotional distress. I do not recognize the debt they are referring to and it is outside of the statute of limitations, both State and Federal. I fear that this institution will report a debt that does not belong to me which would damage permanently my high credit score. I am contacting legal counsel for advise and please be advised that if my outstanding credit history and credit score are affected by this company and their abusive letter, I will seek restitution, and compensation for material damages as a result of injury to my credit, furthermore, I will seek compensation for undue stress, pain and suffering, and will further refer this to regulatory agencies to investigate potential FCRA, FDCPA non compliance by this company that is currently harassing and threatening me with unfounded claims. Please note that not only the claim is false and borderline slanderous but it is predatory in nature as they are attempting to collect 1153.09 for an alleged debt of 472.90. Furthermore the letter sent to me is not compliant with the required disclosures as mandated by NY State. Please note that I attempted speaking with them and they refused to talk to me unless I gave them my DOB and SSN. They are not my financial institution and will not get PII that could expose me to ID Theft. The first rep was arrogant and rude, he hung up on me; the second one an alleged manager was more cordial but still non cooperative. All this can be evidenced in the call recordings from 5/19/2022 at 530 and 533 PM EST

I entered into an agreement with Credit Control, LLC in January to pay a *** debt
I entered into an agreement with Credit Control, LLC in January to pay a *** debt. I owed $2198.45. They agreed to a 50% discount of the total amount owed if I paid $54.96 bi-weekly. I made payments from January to October totaling $1154.16 (which is more than 50%). When I made my last payment in October it was my understanding that I was done making payments and this account would be closed. I received a letter from an attorney's office this month (March 2022 two years later) trying to collect this debt. The attorney's office does not have a copy of the agreement I made with Credit Control, LLC however they do reflect the payments I made towards the agreement. I have tried to contact Credit Control without success. I spoke to one individual from Credit Control, LLC and they advised me they no longer have the account and cannot give me any documents regarding the agreement. They did say that I did not honor the agreement and that I only made 21 payments out of 24 and they could not provide me with any documentation. They passed me around to all different departments and I left numerous voicemails without any call back. Credit Control, LLC told me that since they did not have the account anymore I needed to call *** who they gave my account back to. I contacted *** and they have no documentation regarding the agreement I had with Credit Control, LLC. I put in a dispute with ***. They were the ones who forwarded my account to the attorney's office (*** The attorney's office have no documentation of any agreement with Credit Control, LLC however they have the payments that I made reflected in there statement. They said they are putting in dispute on there end as well. I need the documentation from Credit Control, LLC to prove there was an agreement and I made the necessary payments per said agreement to close this acct.

To get straight to the point, on Thursday 8/6, when speaking with a representative of Credit Control (the Tampa, FL location), I attempted to make an offer to settle the debt that was made by my niece. Yes, I co-signed for the car loan, and when the creditors could not locate my niece, they came after me to pay the debt. When making the offer, the first representative said that the offer would not be accepted. I asked to speak with her supervisor. Another person came to the phone. She too stated that the offer could not be accepted. Finally, I asked to speak with the Manager or Supervisor over that particular area. I was told first that she does not speak with customers. Then, I was told that she was at lunch. I could leave my number, but I said that I was willing to wait. The person who I was speaking with thought that she had muted her phone, but it was not muted. She was talking with others in the background. She said, "She wants to wait!" "She is CRAZY!" At this point, *** gets on the phone. I let her know that I heard everything that was said, and that I did not appreciate being defamed in that manner. I was ONLY trying to solve a situation that was not of my own making. I was trying to pay a bill that was not mine to pay. I stated that my character was "defamed" and that the previous person had now created a major problem that I was not going to let go of. Ms. Richardson stated that the person's name was ***. I do not know for certain that *** was her real name, but Ms. *** stated that she would have the Office Supervisor to call me after returning from lunch. She stated that the Office Supervisor's name was ***. I left my contact number, but did not receive a call back from anyone in the company. My character has been defamed! I am NOT a CRAZY person, and I should never have been referred to as crazy when I was only trying to resolve a debt. Please see the attached document that details from the beginning of this "debacle" and the unfortunate result. Any assistance that can be given toward an amicable resolution will be appreciated!
