I deal with the delays of the trains crossings the roads every day as we all do. On this day 3/22 I sat at the intersection on Hwy 22 in Calera, AL. for 27 minutes and the train did not move. I took 2 other routes to get around the train and all 3 were blocked. 50 minutes later I was back where I started from and still could not pass. I spoke to a Sherriff behind me and he told me this is an every day, multiple day occurrence. Your company is impeding/restricting the flow of traffic resulting in extreme delays. Our First Responders are unable to respond leaving the public at harms risk. This is unacceptable; commerce does not come before the well being and public safety of a community. I am taking this matter up with my city, state and will go to the federal level. I will also seeking legal advice/litigation for a class action law suit against CSX as I am certain my community is not the only impacted by your negligence If someone dies because your train excessively blocked the tracks there are legal implications. I was told CSX knows about this problem yet they do nothing but make it worse. I am retired military and I have a new mission (military does not fail it's missions) and that is to hold your company accountable. You will hear from me again.

Claimed loss: Community expenses
Desired outcome: change your routes; move the trains at night during low traffic hours and cut the delays our First Responders have to respond.
