My husband absolutely LOVED his coffee maker. But NO MORE!
I have purchased this coffee maker TWO times. First one I didn’t realize to check warranty after it started leaking, so I bought another.
The second coffee maker started leaking after approx 2 1/2 yrs (has a 3 yr factory warranty) from when we bought it. I contacted Cuisinart to replace due to leaking in two places. They told me I had to CUT the cord off of a WORKING coffee maker (working but leaking) and email pictures to them of CUT cord and the coffee maker, and wait 7-10 business days for another to be mailed to me. This is NOT okay. That means we’re out of a coffee maker for at least a week to wait for the new one. I WILL NEVER purchase one of these EVER again. This is the absolute worse exchange policy I’ve ever experienced. I asked them if I could mail back to them the leaking unit once I received the new one, and they said “unfortunately no”. INEXCUSABLE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be shopping for another coffee maker and never buying Cuisinart again! Do not buy from this company, specifically this model!
