I had a Cuisinart Coffey Maker SS-15 through Walmart on 12-28-23. It arrived and I set it just as Cuisinart said. It made coffee, but the low water light would not come on. I returned it to the Walmart in Lindale TX and ordered another one. It arrived on 01-06-24. Once again, this one had a problem. The low water light would not come on. I returned it to...

Cuisinart replacement carafe for 12 cup coffee maker

Nearly a month ago I enquired about finding a replacement carafe for my (WALMART) Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker. After finding a second rep who seemed to know what she was doing (much computer research on her part) she found my original order...said the confusion was b/c it had a WM serial #.

She fixed that (supposedly) and today I received a new carafe which does not fit my machine. I hate to fall back on cliches' but "what's wrong with you people"?

The 1st rep told me that UPS would send me an email within 3 days...after 10+ days I called back and the rep had to start the process all over. Finally the UPS delivery came today...wrong carafe...i could send a pic but not available here.

Desired outcome: Please send the correct carafe by the fastest means possible.

Cuisinart CHW-12 Coffee Plus 12 cup programmable coffeemaker & hot water system

I love my coffee maker, but as you can see in the pictures below, the warming unit is slowing deteriorating, It keeps chipping off in little chunks. We use this every day and will eventually have to throw it away. It was purchased several years ago, but we have purchased other Cuisinarts in the past and they lasted much longer than this has.

Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!

Desired outcome: Please repair or replace.

Is Cuisinart Legit?

Cuisinart earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%

Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.

Our conclusion: After a detailed review, ComplaintsBoard finds Cuisinart to be a trustworthy company. Although there's a 14% resolution rate for customer complaints, which deserves attention, Cuisinart is known for their high standards and safety. If you're thinking about dealing with Cuisinart, it's wise to check how they handle complaints.

We found clear and detailed contact information for Cuisinart. The company provides a physical address, phone number, and 2 emails, as well as 4 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

Cuisinart has claimed the domain name for cuisinart.com for a long time, which suggests that the website is established and has a history of being in operation. This is a positive sign, as it indicates that the website has been around for a while and may have a reputation to maintain.

The payment procedure on the website is also relatively simple and straightforward, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for buyers.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:

As a result, only 14% of 131 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
  • Cuisinart protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
  • We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Cuisinart. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.

My husband absolutely LOVED his coffee maker. But NO MORE! I have purchased this coffee maker TWO times. First one I didn’t realize to check warranty after it started leaking, so I bought another. The second coffee maker started leaking after approx 2 1/2 yrs (has a 3 yr factory warranty) from when we bought it. I contacted Cuisinart to replace due to...

Cuisinart Defective product

I purchased a set of stainless steel saucepans about 2 years ago. One saucepan, model# 7193-20, recently split at the edge It has always been treated well, never dropped, never over-heated, always clean between uses. This happened on or around July 30, 2023. I noticed the split edge when removing it from the drawer to use it. I do put it in the dishwasher, set on "low" to not melt the plastic also inside the dishwasher. Please note that this pan is fairly heavy solid stainless steel and could not be damaged in the dishwasher. It has not been dropped or it would be bent, which it is not.

For a stainless steel saucepan of this high quality to just one day split along the edge in unimaginable, but it did.

I am willing to send you the pan for examination if you'll send me an address. I consider this to be a defect, as it's very difficult to damage a pan of this quality.

Please refer to the photos and note that the rest of the pan seems "OK", not stained, burned or otherwise mistreated.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate an email response: [protected]@aol.com. Mailing address: Lorene Webb,2591 Chestnut St.,Hanford, 93230. I'm partly deaf, so I prefer to not be called by phone. I would also greatly appreciate a replacement pan.

Cuisinart Defective manufacture of stainless steel saucepan

I purchased this Cuisinart stainless saucepan online a couple of yrs. ago. It's model #7193-20, 3.0 qt. saucepan with cover V#28287. It was fine, along with the other 3 I bought at the same time. I don't remember who the vendor was, possibly Walmart or Cuisinart Online. I've been very happy with my pans until very recently, the 3 qt. saucepan split at the edge of the pan while in the dishwasher. I know this dishwasher doesn't get hot enough to have any affect on solid stainless steel or all my other things would melt or break, and they don't. So I'm considering it a defect in the product. I removed it from the dishwasher and discovered a 1"crack on the edge of the pan. I simply don't understand how a stainless steel pan of this quality could split like this, but it did. I'm requesting the Cuisinart Co. to replace my pan. You can see the I.D. 3's above and I'm attaching photos. When I receive my new pan, I'll return the defective one to you. Please supply me with an address to send the defective pan to. I'm sure your"people" will want to study it to see how this could even happen.

Desired outcome: I would like my defective pan replaced by a new one of the same size and style.

Cuisinart Silicone stretch lids

After purchasing a 4-pack of flexible silicone stretch lids from Cuisinart, we took out 2 to try and use them. One of them ripped immediately. They are supposed to stretch over the bowl you are using to preserve food. I called the company at tel:+[protected], and after navigating the automated operator reception, spoke with one assistant. They said they would put me on a brief hold, then I got a recording to leave a message. I called back and the assistant this time told me there was nothing they could do for me. This product is crappy, with no company support. Do not buy it - just use plastic wrap.

Desired outcome: Product replacement

Cuisinart Cuisinart colored knife set

The Cuisinart website and Amazon give some pretty stellar reviews of this product but I'm sure that will change once time passes and buyers come to realize these cheap Chinese made knifes aren't made for the long haul. These knives come in a 6 pack, include covers and are very stylish when new. They knives are very sharp right out of the box, but tend to dull very quickly and have to constantly be resharpened over time. I guess this is to be expected with a product bearing packaging that carries the all to familiar "MADE IN CHINA" moniker.

However, what's much more alarming is that with regular use, the colored coating starts coming off and ultimately becomes a part of your meal. I finally drew the line last night when cutting chunk cheese and seeing flecks of green embedded in each piece. I can't imagine that ingesting this coating is good for one's health. This condition has pretty much rendered these knives useless and it's just more junk to go into the Chinese made garbage pile! It sure would be nice to be able to find some economical USA made knives!

Desired outcome: Would love to hear from Cuisinart and have them explain why the coating fails on these knives.

Cuisinart Cuisinart espresso defined

I purchased a Cuisinart Espresso Defined Espresso/Cappuccino/Latte machine 2 years ago. The machine just stopped working. I contact Consumer center a number of times. I was told to cut the end of the cord take picture of it and text the picture to them which I did. I was told that i would be receiving another coffee machine soon. I receive nothing. I called again and this time was told that a different machine would be sent, because they had no more of the one i had purchased. I was offer a cheap coffee machine which was quite different from the one i had bought. i called again and was told it had been sent. again, no coffee machine. I called them, and asked what happened to my coffee machine.

I was then told it had to go into another department for approval. I called again it this time i was told they had no date to send it out. What kind of insanity is this i've never heard of such madness. I wll no long purchase anything from

Cuisinart. Today, I'm off to purchase a Cappuccino coffee maker

Cuisinart Premium single serve coffee maker model ss10 (d/c 4420)

I purchased the Cuisinart coffee maker on July 5th, 2022, from Amazon. Actually, it's the second coffee maker, because the first one arrived broken. A few days ago, the coffee maker stopped pumping water. It didn't need to be descaled, because I had performed that procedure a few weeks ago. Besides, I couldn't descale the machine, because it would not pump water. I'm pretty much disappointed with Cuisinart. I paid $104.00 for this machine and thought I was going to receive a quality product. There was no way I could contact Cuisinart, because I needed an immediate replacement. So, I went to our local big box store and purchased a new one.

Desired outcome: You know? I would like a refund of my $104.00. Thank you for your consideration.

Cuisinart DCC-3200 coffee maker

Current coffee maker has numerous issues. Least being writing is wearing off above function keys, worst is coffee quality has deteriorated over time. Also, lid to coffee pot has always been an issue (always leaking). This was a warranty replacement of a prior one which also started having issues during warranty period. In hindsight, I really wonder if they sent me a remanufactured one as a replacement. Anyway, have been through the process to verify that item is defective and replaceable under warranty. Have looked up and found the warranty that came with unit. The Conair help desk (yes they outsource their support) is telling me I have to cut the power cord, and send them a picture of this before they will send me a new one! OMG... Not anywhere in warranty terms, and, as noted, this is not my first rodeo, and this was never a requirement before. I told them, am happy to do this after I get a new one... But they are recalcitrant. How do I even now I will ever get a replacement if I were to do this? It may be defective but I am still using it, and drink coffee daily. If anyone has the email address to send a complaint to Mary Rodgers (marketing dir) or other senior leads, I would appreciate it.

Desired outcome: I want the replacement unit I should be able to get under warranty without additional BS conditions that someone made up after the fact.

Cuisinart Easy pre pro fp8su

This is the second replacement work bowl. Each time the contact surface with the base has developed a fault because the plastic is so cheap that it warps or snaps off. The first bowl had the contact slot snap when inserted. The second I haven't even used it that often and less inclined to because I know it is so fragile! I was extra careful with this second bowl, which I had had to pay for.

I now see the fault this time is that the slotting-in contact part has melted and developed bubbles (!?).
I noted with the first bowl that the plastic bowl is made in China. It is quite shocking. I wonder if the plastic is even recyclable.

Cuisinart Missing part to my order

Ordered the premium single serve coffee maker. Model number SS-10. It came with no reusable filter. I'm trying to get the reusable filter to go with my coffee maker. I have to call their number that's on their website and nobody ever answers. It's bogus. Ridiculous. I ordered this product from Amazon on July the 28th of 20 22. I never noticed that it didn't have a reusable filter because I never tried to use it until today and I need one and I can't get a hold of them by phone

Cuisinart Food processor

Note : I was unable to download video of the problem but can send to you by email when you want.

I am writing to request assistance in determining which of Cuisinart’s food processor models will best deliver the quality I need. I have been a long time customer and have had great use of the Cuisinart processors I have had in the past, even using one for years when operating a bed and breakfast.

However, once we sold our inn with all its equipment included, I purchased a Cuisinart D/C 3320A model FP8 processor about a year ago to use in the condo we were renting until we found a more permanent home; so I did not at the time go toward a large capacity or high end cost piece of equipment. Plus supplies in stores were minimal due to COVID, yet I figured with the Cuisinart name even the middle of the road design would be sufficient.

I fairly quickly realized that was not the case. The processor from the beginning did not chop very much off the bottom of the bowl so I found myself scraping down even pulsed items multiple times; significantly more often than I’d had to do before. But the main irritant was processing dry materials such as flour, for example either pulsing that and salt together or mixing with pads of butter to make pastry. Flour would fly out from the edge of the connecting attachment line, almost seemingly going through spaces or holes between the top and bottom of the mixing bowl portion; thus flying out and dusting the countertop around it. I do have a video I can send you showing this messy phenomenon if you would like. Also, when using the shredding discs a lot more food material seems to get jammed between the disc blade and the lid. Usually some food does that, but again, this is much more than I have seen in the past.

I am not asking for a refund, because I should have taken the processor back to the store right away and not waited a year. I kept thinking I could just live with its defective performance, and again supply at stores was minimal due to the pandemic; so I just delayed. However, now that supply chains are better with more choices I am going to buy another Cuisinart, and have been considering the DLC8SCYP1 Pro because it is the one most similar to ones I have had in the past. I’ve also been looking at the DFP 14BCWNYAMZ, although I don’t need the large 14 cup capacity. Instead, I want to get some advice from you that this purchase will indeed solve my issues. Or is there another model you think would be even better to guarantee results will be acceptable.

Thank you for your time. I can be reached at [protected].

Sincerely, Cindy Ruzak

606 Red Oak Dr., Hendersonville, NC 28791

Desired outcome: Replacement selection advice to guarantee performance

Cuisinart Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 DLC Food Processors

I cannot get this darn thing to work. I used my prior model daily but have only got this one to work twice since I purchased it from Macys. It just sits in my appliance garage out of site.

The “safety” measures make it impossible to work.

I would like to return this machine and get in exchange one that works and that I can use.

I purchased it from Macys a few years ago. I brought it back and they couldn’t get it to work either so I am stuck with it. I would like to get one in exchange for this one-one that works and that I could use.

Desired outcome: I would like to exchange this machine for one that works

Cuisinart Cuisinart pizzelle iron

Bought it at Macy’s. Horrible product. Pizzelles are way too thick. I bought a different brand and they are light and crisp. I used it only once. Because it was over 90 day warranty at Macy’s they will not refund to my Macy’s credit card. Told me to call Cuisinart. Cuisinart said I didn’t buy it thru them so they cannot help me. I’m out $50 for this horrible press. Anyone who would like to assist me on further steps please let me know. Thank you

Cuisinart food processor

I called the [protected], customer service number listed on my food processor on 12/10/2022 multiple times;

at 9:20 am and after 10 min. I was disconnected, then at 9:30 am, and after 4 min. I was disconnected,

at 9:35am, and after 3 min. I was disconnected, ar 9:36am, and after 11 min. I was disconnected.

Cuisiart makes high-end appliances but they severly cheapen their products by hiring "work-at-home" customer

service reps who are incapable of handling calls. On several of the calls I actually heard reps hang up.

This is unacceptable. Who wants an expensive product from a company who hires cheap labor?

I ordered a new lid, $26 + tax. I was told there was no shipping charge. My tax rate is 7.5% however I was

charged $4.16 for tax ($30.16 total; order #[protected]) I placed the order on 12/9/2022, and that call

lasted 1hr 12 min., which is also unacceptable). I want a refund on the overcharge on the tax. That is

why I was calling on 12/10/2022.

Desired outcome: refund of excess tax charge

Cuisinart Coffee Center® 12 Cup Coffeemaker and Single-Serve Brewer

I bought this coffee maker in June of 2021. As of March, 2022 we've had nothing but problems with it. It leaks water from the kcup chamber into the cup base and overflows onto my countertops and under the coffee maker if it's not kept on top of with cleaning up the water. It clogs all the time with coffee grinds resulting in coffee grinds in our coffee when making a kcup, then having to clean the needles almost daily. Just a huge hassle and we are going to have to get rid of it as it really is too much of a problem at this point. VERY disappointed with this product.

Desired outcome: a new one!
