Holy cow -- can't believe that CurrentCatalog.com has not been reviewed yet. Current has been around for ages and sells cards, wrapping paper, stationary, and miscellaneous items. It's mainly known for the cards and wrapping paper.
This is place to go for cards, boxes &/or sets of cards: birthday, anniversary, baby, wedding, graduation, get well, thank you, etc.etc.etc. Good quality and the prices can't be beat. This is the way to stock up on cards and NOT have to go get a $5.99 card at a store!
The best wrapping paper around! Good quality, heavy paper and most have a cutting grid on the back!
Only thing is I think the shipping costs are over-priced. Always us a coupon! If you get on the mailing list you get a 20% off your order code 5 times a year plus lots of other savings and discounts.
Customer Service is Terrible
Current's customer service is terrible. I ordered some checks with matching address labels. The ones that I ordered came up as unavailable. I then ordered different checks with the matching labels and only the checks came. They ended up sending me my first order anyways as a checks only order and charged me for them. A couple of days later I received the 2nd order of checks which I also paid for. When I called I got a recording to hold then someone came on the phone and said all lines were busy that someone would call me back. Well, no call. I then sent an email which I have not heard back from. I want to be reimbursed for the first order of checks but it doesn't look like I will hear from them. They do have great items but I will never order from them again unless I receive a refund for the checks that I didn't want and the address labels that I paid extra for.
Blame the way the website is set up
A few days ago I posted a review about personalized return address labels that were "wrong" even after I called and complained about the first set.
Spoke to customer service again today. Turns out that, even though I created the personalization and approved my design for the ordering process, this particular label will ALWAYS default to a first line of all caps and all heavy block print.
No where did the website tell me my personalization wld not go through as I created it. If it had, I wld have chosen a different label.
So, my initial ranting review shd be taken w/ a grain of salt. It wld have been helpful if the first customer rep had told me about the limitations of this label's personalization. Then, I wldn't have gotten SO angry when the exact same (wrong!) labels hit my mailbox.
But, despite this issue, and despite the limited hours for available customer service reps, the product quality--calendars, address books, etc--is still very good

I love Current Catalog! I have been buying from Current Catalog since I was a high school student. My friends and I would order together. It was like Christmas when our order came. Now, I put together baskets of Current goodies and create beautiful gifts for my grandchildren's teachers. I have had nothing but compliments on the unusual items in those gifts. I buy using coupon codes which helps balance out the shipping costs. Yes, you do have to expect slow shipping, but just plan ahead. Also, their sales are great!

I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about my experience with Current Catalog. I ordered some labels 16 days ago and still haven't received them. I mean, come on, 16 days?! That's ridiculous. I tried emailing customer service about it 4 days ago, but never got a response. So I had to call them up and wait on hold for what felt like forever. When I finally got through to a rep, they told me that Current is ending their shipping contract with DHL because of slow service. Apparently, DHL transfers packages to USPS in a hub (for me, NJ) and USPS is given 2 days to get it to the customer. But even with that, most retailers get packages to customers within days, not weeks.
But here's the thing - the customer service rep I talked to today was actually really helpful. They checked USPS tracking for my package and found out that it's been delivered to my town, probably yesterday, and should be in my mailbox today. They were polite, sympathetic, and gave me more information than the rep I talked to yesterday. So I guess it's not all bad - the customer service reps really do make a difference.
Still, I'm pretty disappointed overall. I've been a long-time customer of Current Catalog, but I don't think I'll be shopping there again after this experience. It's just not worth the hassle and the wait.

I was not happy with this because they took my money before I received my product, and that is fraud. I will contact the Better Business Bureau to report this issue.

On February 2, 2022, I received an email saying that my order had shipped, but it still showed the original delivery date of January 17 - January 21. It has been six days since it shipped, and I still haven't received my order.
I decided to call Current Catalog's customer service to inquire about the delay. I spoke to a representative named AJ, who unfortunately couldn't even tell me when I could expect my order to arrive. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak to a supervisor, AJ hung up on me. As a Blue Ribbon Member, I was disappointed that I didn't receive any special treatment, as promised.
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Current Catalog and will never order from them again. It's clear that they don't care about their customers, and if they hear of a problem, they apparently hang up on the customer. I urge anyone considering ordering from Current Catalog to think twice and verify my experience with them.
Terrible Customer Service and Delivery Issues at Current Catalog
I've been waiting for my order from Current Catalog for quite some time now, but unfortunately, it seems that there was an issue with the address that I provided. I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service team for over a week now, but it seems like nobody is able to help me out. I've spoken to at least five different representatives, and each one has given me a different answer. It's really frustrating not knowing what to expect, and it seems like the people I'm talking to just don't know what they're doing.
To make matters worse, some of the representatives I've spoken to have been incredibly rude. I've even had a few hang up on me, which is just unacceptable. It's really disappointing to see such terrible customer service from a company that I had high hopes for. I mean, how hard can it be to get an order delivered to the right address?
Honestly, I'm not sure why these people even have jobs if they can't do them properly. It's really frustrating to see such incompetence, and I wouldn't be surprised if they went out of business soon. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could.

Current Catalog Really Screwed up my Christmas Card Order
I have been a customer for Current Catalog for over 30 years. This past Christmas I ordered over 144 Christmas cards imprinted with our names. The cards were about $12 a pack and Current charged over $20 shipping in addition. I was charged for the whole order yet when the cards came over a third of the order was missing (ordered 8 packs pf 18 cards and only 5 were shipped). Current shipped the missing cards but they arrived too late to use, forcing me to buy other cards to replace the missing ones I had paid for and never received. In addition, the cards I did receive contained 18 cards in a pack but only 16 envelopes so I was shorted again. The worst part is that after Christmas Current did nothing to rectify the cost of the cards I cannot use. I talked to customer service to no avail and also sent a letter with no reply. Cards are printed on very cheap quality card stock and aren't even folded. Real junk. Snotty customer service on the on line chat. Have to pay to return this crap I just made the mistake of paying to ship to myself. Steer clear.

In november 2018 I placed an order with current catalog. 4 of the items
Were big eye puffy ducks... A toy for children that when squeezed the eyes pop and a ball lights up inside duck. Not one out of the four operated properly. I called customer service and was told I would get a refund on my debit credit card. I have not received it. I get letters many times to order from current catalog and when I do this is the treatment I receive.

I placed my order online 11/19. The website states delivery within 6 days of order placement. The shipment left on 11/22 and still has not arrived. It shows FedEx transferring the shipment to USPS on 11/28. I reached out to Current via live chat yesterday. I was online with the rep for 40 minutes and was first told to contact USPS myself. She then proceeded to tell me that the package would arrive that day. When I asked if she had reached out to USPS, she said no, but that her supervisor stated it took 3 days from possession at USPS to arrive to the customer. I called Current today and was told again that I would need to contact USPS, they could not. To say that this is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced would be an understatement. I manage a customer service group and am appalled at the lack of training and disregard by the Current team. I have been a loyal customer for years and I will never purchase from Current again. Furthermore, I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and disputing the credit card charge.

I will never deal with you again. You have to train your employees harder because the way they treat customers is absolutely unacceptable.
My issue is that my order never arrived and I called them to notify them about it and to ask what happened. Instead of an answer, I was said that it was my fault that I ordered an item without an expedited shipping. And all I have to do is to wait and stop bothering them with little things.
I was shocked. I hung up the phone and was just thinking why I deserved the tone like this. It's terrible. I hope this man will be fired soon.
missing items
I have ordered some gift bags and stickers from Current Catalog website. My order arrived in a timely manner but when I opened the package I saw that there were no sticker. Contacted Current Catalog and asked about the missing item and they said they'll send me a replacement as soon as possible.
Time passed and nothing arrived and when I contacted Current Catalog again they assured me stickers will be here any time soon. Another two weeks passed and I gave up. Will not order from them again, very disappointed.
Not only does the website not work but Current, when called, will not honor the prices that are displayed on their website.
$1.99 cards on the website, are suddenly $4.49 when you call, or click into the card, isn't that illegal?
Advertise one price and then charge a higher price. Look at sympathy cards, and the one labeled Kraft sympathy greeting. I have been a loyal customer for many, many years but no more.

I purchased gift cards and wrapping things from the company www.currentcatalog.com. I got only wrapping paper, but the remaining stuff was in process. The seller provided some updates in the beginning, but after 4 days he stopped to send any information about the order and delivery. I continued to send emails and messages, but it was completely futile. Impossible to get order. I won’t deal with them again.
