Good morning
We ordered an iPad for a young man who we care for in a supported living home on Monday the 5th December with a delivery date scheduled for the next day with your chosen delivery group DPD.
As you can see from the details below a time and date are visible. We received an email the later that afternoon saying the driver missed us, indicating that we were not in the home at the time of his visit. This occurred the next day and yesterday despite various emails with similar delivery times and dates with the same excuse
Unfortunately for the driver this is a total lie. Caeronnen, Llangrannog, LLandysul, SA44 6AH is (as noted above) a home for adults and it is staffed 24/7.
I purchased this item on behalf of the individual concerned who was made aware of the various dates and times that delivery was meant to take place and they have been anxious and upset due to this delay.
I have asked for the delivery to occur tomorrow. It would be appreciated if this could actually happen and if it cannot I would welcome your thoughts, explanations if I happen to receive another email stating that the driver missed us?
I would appreciate a response to this email and if the item cannot be delivered I would like a refund

Cloud Service
I recently realised that I was still paying for Currys Cloud Services. I contacted Currys Support Centre and eventually convinced them of my identity and to cancel the payments forthwith. I asked them to confirm the agreed action by e-mail but they stated that they could only confirm to the long defunct e-mail address on their records. It seems that Currys is happy to take my money but not provide me a confirmation of cancellation to my current e-mail address, even though I have ordered a TV and extended warranty 2 years ago quoting my current postal and e-mail address.
Desired outcome: I would like a confirmation of the cancellation of payment for Cloud Services to my current e-mail address.

Change of address, lack of facility
Hello,
I am very disappointed that due to a "lack of facility" a simple delivery address change has cost me an additional £70.
I purchased a washing machine and paid for delivery and installation, I ordered this online and the model I wanted was on offer, I purchased it paying in full. I realised I had put my current address, not the flat where I need the washing machine to be delivered. I phoned to give a change of address, I was told I could change my phone number, email address and name but not the delivery address and that "we do not have the facility to change the address". I was told that I would have to cancel my order (and wait up to 14 days for the money to be returned) and to reorder with the different delivery address. The price I paid was no longer available and had gone up. I am very disappointed as Currys were able to contact the delivery firm to cancel the order but not to change the address.
I have spent thousands of pounds over the years buying from Currys and am very suprised that in this day and age of technology that there is not a facility to contact a delivery company to make a simple change. As I had paid in full for the product and secured it at that price with my original order, I would appreciate it if I could have this original price honoured as a good will gesture. £70 is a lot of money to lose out on just to do something that you don't have the facility to do.

Laptop Going Going Gone one left/ Staff member
Shopping on Saturday 3rd December to your Curry/pc Branch in fort kinnaird Edinburgh. My daughter saw a laptop that was on sale, it had a tag saying Going Going gone, one only left.
Asked the store colleague that my daughter wanted this one, he then came back with his wee laptop thing to say that wasn't in stock and the nearest one was £460 odd ,which was double the cost of the sale one.
I was quite happy to take the last sale one but the colleague refused and then made a comment saying he couldn't sell us that one.
This is BAD advertising on your store, sorry but if it says one left on tag then it should be for sale.
The attitude of the person that served us was appalling, the eye rolls especially. They obviously need customer service training.

What happened:
I purchased a Sharp Dishwasher from Curry’s on line. Curry’s fitted it and delivered it. However, from day 1 the front door did not fit making it liable to leaking.
On a final contact to Curry’s customer services help they sent someone to check who agreed with the fault. Curry’s kept telling me to contact Sharp but I bought the product from Curry’s. I cannot get them to replace this faulty item. Please can you replace the dishwasher with one fit for purpose

Samsung dishwasher
I bought a dishwasher from Currys in June 2022 and the machine operates, as in the power comes on, programmes run, water goes in and out, but the machine does not clean.
I have read the manual thoroughly and have tried every combination of programme, but the contents are not being cleaned to the extent that I was washing up AFTER running a cycle due to unclean contents.
I called Curry's, was put on hold for 10 minutes, then transferred automatically to Samsung, who asked me to register with Samsung for an account, agree to terms and conditions, read my name, address, receipt number, model number, serial number, then turn the machine off and wait three minutes, then turn it back on, then clean the filter, then run a FULL PROGRAMME whilst waiting on the phone, then STILL refused to send out an engineer unless I paid for it in advance despite having the dishwasher under warranty and having paid at time of purchase for a three year care plan covering all parts and labour!
Currys have not accepted my call, have not responded to my email and no engineer is coming to repair the item I paid £595 for.
All I ask is for the dishwasher I purchased to clean dishes. I don't want anything for free, but expect an item under warranty and covered by an additional cost care plan to be repaired, replaced or refunded.

My wife and I purchased a chromebook for my daughter Christmas present unfortunately they didn't have one in the wrexham store but ordered with your team as they said it will take a few weeks we purchased some gaming headphones aswel to be delivered at the wrexham store together. No information about our products been weeks so my wife went to the store 30/11/22 and was told the headphones had come in but the chromebook was out of stock now and didn't no when they would be having that one back in. Explained no one phoned to give us an date on our perchase and was deeply annoyed. Spoke with an assistant and he said that we could have the display model but haven't got the box so would find a box to place it in. We asked the manager of the wrexham shop if they could offer some kind of discount or a bag for the chromebook as it was ex display she was adamant and said NO. we ended up paying £100 extra for a different model. Normally like shopping in currys superstore wrexham as they've even very helpful in the past but on this occasion the manager came across careless and didn't want to no. Think twice about shopping there again.
Desired outcome: Voucher of some kind due to the managers approach on this matter and if left any longer without any phone call about our purchase my daughter would be left without one
Fridge freezer and washing machine combine
Currys delivered my fridge freezer and washing machine combi today. I had paid £40 to recycle both along some other electrical items. The delivery people did not have room on their van and so dumped them all in my front garden, they said someone would be along later to collect them.
No person/people have arrived this is not the service that I paid for, I live alone and have serious help problem this is a shame that you have not honoured your obligations.
Please ensure that they are revoved in the next twenty four hours before I take matters to the papers.

DPD delivery failure!
I ordered a TV on Sunday night as mine had started showing pink and yellow lines all over the screen. Paid extra for specified delivery between 5pm and 10pm on Monday. Got a text on Monday morning to say it would be delivered between 5-6pm. Perfect! Then got a second text an hour later to say my delivery would not happen on Monday, and it would now be delivered on Tuesday.
I complained to Customer Services, whose response was for me to call DPD to sort out redelivery! I did point out that my contract was with Currys and as DPD is their delivery partner, it us to them to sort out this problem.
On Tuesday I got a text to tell me my delivery was going to be make that day between 12.30 and 1.30pm. Whilst I am at work!
I rang DPD to complain that I had paid for evening delivery and would not be available to take delivery in the middle of the day. All they could offer me would be a delivery on Wednesday between 12pm and 6pm. No better!
I rang Currys, who spoke to DPD and said exactly the same thing. Was told they would not offer an evening delivery.
I asked Lisa in customer services why they allow people to pay extra for an evening delivery, if DPD just deliver whenever they feel like it. She said she didn't know and cut off the call.
I had to end up leaving work in the middle of the day, to drive home and take the TV in, given that it was raining and I didn't want an expensive item sitting on my driveway.
I am furious with the shocking service from both Currys and DPD, who are happy to charge you for specified time delivery, but then don't provide that service.
I will not order from Currys again, or anyone else that uses DPD as their delivery partner.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology for the shockingly poor service, but I doubt it will happen. Clearly not interested in dealing with customer complaints!!

I purchased an electric hob for my 85 year old father who lives alone. Selected 28/11/22 as the date to be delivered from the options that were available and chose for it to be installed also. He is currently without a hob as the old one was gas and has been turned off by gas engineer in preparation for new one. Delivery failed to show today so I called your tel line. I was told no delivery logged for today and now earliest delivery slot is 23rd December! Absolutely appalling service! My 85 year old father can’t wait a month without a hob when we paid for the item and paid installation also. I have now CANCELLED order as lady I spoke to on the phone was not helpful at all! Awaiting refund and i now i have to look elsewhere for another hob and electrician to install.

Called customer services who took my details, but could not find the order, and informed I would receive a refund in 3 to 5 days.

Complaint is: 3 to 5 days is not good enough for a refund of an item I clearly was not able to even order effectively!
I had to pay twice in order to get a washing machine now. Unable to use the money you already had to complete the order! Unacceptable!
It is the end of the month are you going to pay overdraft charges that are incurred due to your errors due to twice the amount of money coming out of my account that should be?

The Hisense TV arrived yesterday afternoon. It was in it's very large box and looked fine.
A couple of Hours later the Manhatten Freeview Recorder (Order Number above) arrived. The box arrived in a grey sealed cover. Because of the time I decided to wait until this morning to take it out of the container. I was shocked when I did. Is it second hand or refurbished?
First. It was obvious the box had been opened before.
Second. There was a big rip on the top cover. (Photo included) It looked like something heavy had been theown on top of it.
The TV and Manhatten Freeview Recorder are Christmas Presents for a Good Friend and her Children. I can't give the Recorder to them or they will think it is second hand. I would like this problem taken care of.

Dropped in garden in wet ruined TV. Left in a downpour. Did not tell delivering today no communication, so angry and said to collect in store i paid for delivery. i am disgusted and the service was rubbish. They were even laughing about it now they have lost money and a big TV. Company has taken my money from account without processing order
I tried to place an order of £486.70 online on 17th November for an Xbox series X for my nephew's birthday this weekend, Currys had taken the money out my account and not put the order through, they are now taking ages to respond and deal with my query. I now have no gift to give my nephew on Sunday because they had technical issues and are very unhelpful.
Desired outcome: I want my money back so i can order this gift for my nephew.
Selling of a product not in stock and very poor management response
Went to your store off Clough Road Hull and entering I asked a salesperson what was available for recording tv shows to play back later and was shown a box illustrating the Humax FVP 5000t recorder. Sounded ideal so agreed to buy it. the box was empty! so the staff member went into a store area and came back with an item in a clear plastic container. The item was put in the box at the checkout, the instructions were missing so a copy was printed off and given in an envelope. I paid and left the store. On getting home found the box contained a free sat recorder not the Humax recorder. I took it back (an 18-mile round trip). While junior staff (eventually) tried to resolve the issue, it became clear that it wasn't in stock. I asked to see a manager and again after a seemingly long wait Ian of the management team arrived, brusque and obviously annoyed went in person to check stock. At no time was he apologetic, sometime later the junior member of staff dealing with it came back with the news they didn't have one, he was apologetic, but the manager never showed his face again. I accepted a refund into my bank account. what's upsetting me is the manager gave no apology, I was an inconvenience to him. To be sold an item not in stock is a serious error in managing stock levels, leaving junior staff to apologise makes me as a customer undervalued. no acknowledgment of me and the considerable inconvenience and costs to me or offer to compensate in some small way. I have been a loyal customer to Currys PC world over the years but now I will not give you any more business and will broadcast my experience to my wide circle of friends who could have been potential customers. Amazon has the same product, same cost and will deliver within 24 hours. That's your competition, can you afford to lose customers like this?

I am getting extremely frustrated trying to contact and resolve a relatively simple issue.
I received the email below on the 9th November confirming my order for two large appliances had been received after getting help from your “live assistant” Hasmat to apply the due discount which didn’t automatically appear when I tried to checkout on line myself
During the ordering process I booked and paid for a delivery slot for the 21st November between 9am and 1pm with your assistant Hasmat.
I still haven’t received the second email promised in the note below so I’m unable to track my order as presumably the 10 digit tracking reference will appear in that second email.
My frustration is, I have a kitchen fitter booked in for my delivery date and after monumental efforts twice by every means possible to speak to somebody at Curry’s I am still non the wiser having wasted at least 2 hours on Friday and again on Monday (14th Nov) trying to get through by web chat, live assistant , phone calls.
I was advised on Friday, this had been escalated but I’m still waiting. Delivery after the 21st November may not be an option as I will be travelling to Denmark on the 23rd November.
From myside the payment has been approved and showing pending awaiting yourselves to fully process the payment.
Can you please escalate appropriately to ensure the original commitment is met.

Sage bambino plus coffee machine
I purchased the coffee machine from Currys, York on 22nd April 2022, it is now flashing all five lights. I tied the YouTube fixes with no joy. I went into Currys, York with the product in its original box to ask for help. I could not locate my receipt. In the York store they could not find any record of my purchase. They had no purchases of £399.00 for two days prior or after my purchase. I showed them my bank account which clearly stated that £399.00 had been paid to Currys, York on the 22nd April, leaving my account on the 25th April 2022. The manager said this was irrelevant as it didn’t prove what I had bought, just that I had spent £399.00 in their branch on that day. Yet they had no record of anyone buying anything for that value on or around that date. How can this be? Did they have a computer failure and not give me a receipt? Something must have happened for me to pay the York branch and for them to have no record of any sale.
I have rung your help line twice and been promised a call back within 24 hours, which was 5 days ago. I recorded these conversations for my own records.
No one will help me. Will you?
