Cymax Stores Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business: Rude Customer Service and Confusing Policies

So, I was really excited to order a couch for my apartment from Cymax Business. I placed my order on a Friday and eagerly awaited its arrival. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I received an email the following THURSDAY saying that my order had been cancelled. I was really disappointed and confused as to why this had happened.

I tried to contact customer service to get some answers, but their phone number said that they had recently rerouted all customer service calls to email. I found this really irritating because I wanted to talk to a real person about my issue. So, I had to email a robot to get a response. It was really frustrating because I just wanted to talk to someone who could help me.

Eventually, I was able to get through to a customer service agent over the phone. However, the moment I started asking questions about why my order had been cancelled, the female customer service agent was really rude and arrogant. She didn't seem to care about my situation at all and didn't offer me any sympathy or compensation. I was really disappointed because I feel like if you work in customer service, you should be a nice person who cares about your customers.

I was told that my couch order had been cancelled because I hadn't answered my phone for credit card verification. However, my phone had been stolen, so I couldn't answer it. I was really frustrated because I feel like they should have tried to contact me in a different way before cancelling my order. For example, they could have sent me an email, which is where I received my order confirmation in the first place.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with Cymax Business. Their customer service reps were really rude and their policies didn't seem to make sense. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Cymax Stores Terrible Customer Service Experience with Cymax Business: Misleading Product Information and Unhelpful CSR

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Cymax Business. I called them up to ask about a bedroom set I was interested in, and the CSR I spoke to was not very helpful at all. I asked her what was included in the set, and she told me it was just the headboard and two nightstands. I asked if I could also purchase the dresser and mirror, but she said no, they didn't carry those items. I was pretty confused, because usually a set includes the dresser and mirror, and the end tables are extra. I told her that the picture on their website was misleading, because it showed the dresser and mirror, and that other stores listed sets as including the dresser, mirror, and headboard.

But instead of trying to help me out, she got all snippy with me and said that it was the manufacturer's picture, and if I had a problem with it, I should take it up with them. She even tried to use the fact that the picture included a mattress as an example of how it didn't necessarily mean they sold that item. I mean, come on, who doesn't know that a set doesn't include a mattress? I told her that they should at least put a caption under the picture saying that the dresser and mirror weren't available for purchase.

Honestly, I was pretty upset with how she was treating me. I told her that she was a terrible CSR, and that she needed better training and to be reprimanded by management. I don't think it's right for a company to be debating with customers about their concerns like that. Needless to say, I won't be buying anything from Cymax Business anytime soon. If this is how they treat their customers, they won't be in business for much longer. So take my advice and steer clear of this company!

Cymax Stores Terrible Customer Service: My Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Cymax Business. I've shopped around a lot, both in stores and online, and I've never had to leave a negative review before. But this experience was just too frustrating to let slide.

First of all, my item was supposed to arrive between the 10th and 13th. But when I called on the 14th to check on it, I couldn't get through to customer service until 11AM my time. And when I finally did get connected, I was on hold for over 30 minutes just to be told by Trisha that she had no idea what was going on. She said it was "a new shopping company she had never heard of or dealt with" and that someone would call me back later that day. But no one ever did.

So I called back on the 15th and waited on hold for a whopping 105 minutes before giving up. And when I called again on the 16th, I was on hold for another 65 minutes before finally being told that my item should arrive on the 17th. It's ridiculous that this company is always experiencing such high call volumes (and it's easy to see why). And their customer service reps are neither helpful nor knowledgeable.

Plus, can we talk about those hold announcements? I listened to them for over 3 hours, and I gotta say, "We will be right with you shortly" is a total lie. It's also contradictory (if you're going to be right with me shortly, why am I still on hold?) and redundant (we get it, you're experiencing high call volumes).

So yeah, if you're thinking about shopping with Cymax Business, I'd say buyer beware. And if you're buying something on Amazon or another online site, make sure you check who the item is actually coming from. Because trust me, you don't want to deal with this company's terrible customer service.

Cymax Stores Negative Experience with Cymax Business: Misleading Information and Difficult Return Process

I recently had an experience with Cymax Business that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I purchased a headboard from their website after speaking with their customer service team to confirm that it would fit my king size bed. However, when I received the headboard and attempted to assemble it, I quickly realized that it was too small and did not match the bolts on my bed frame.

I immediately contacted Cymax customer service to inform them of the issue and request a return. Unfortunately, I was informed that the manufacturer did not accept returns once the item had been removed from the box. I was shocked and frustrated by this response, as I had specifically confirmed the fit with their team prior to making the purchase.

Cymax Stores Shady Business: My Terrible Experience with Cymax

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Cymax Business. I mean, these guys are just straight up shady. I ordered this big ol' bookcase from them through Amazon, and I even arranged for someone to come put it together for me. But then, nothing happened. They made a label for the shipment, but it just sat there. I was getting pretty worried that it wasn't gonna get here in time for the assembly, so I tried to contact them about it. But they just ignored me! I had to get Amazon involved before they even responded. And then they said they needed a few days to investigate where the item was in transit. Like, come on, it's not rocket science! My husband and I knew they were just stalling, so we cancelled the order. But then, a week later, the bookcase shows up anyway! And they have the nerve to ask if I want to pay for it again, since it was delivered. Like, what?! I had to call Amazon again to return it, and even then, Cymax tried to say I was refunded because of shipping delays. That's just not true! I was so relieved when I finally got those return shipping labels and sent that bookcase back. Honestly, I don't think anyone should buy from Cymax Business. They're just too sketchy.

Cymax Stores Cymax's Delivery Promise Falls Short: Horrible Customer Service and Cancellation Process

So, I was looking for a big sectional for my new apartment and I found it on Cymax. They promised a quick delivery date, which was great because I needed it by a specific date. But, when I didn't receive any shipping confirmation within the promised time, I called them up and they told me that the couch wouldn't be delivered for another 3-4 weeks AFTER it was shipped. That meant I wouldn't have a couch for almost a month in my new apartment. No way! I tried to cancel my order, but it was a nightmare. Unlike other reputable websites like Overstock and Wayfair, Cymax's cancellation process was a mess. They told me it was going to be taken care of and confirmed with the manufacturer that the item was not going to ship until Monday. But, after being confirmed by 3 reps on the phone that it indeed was going to be cancelled and would be receiving a refund in 5-7 days, I received an email the next day stating that no refund would be given and the couch would still be shipped. This time, they miraculously stated that it would only take a few weeks. When I asked what a "few weeks" means, they told me they didn't know. This is a ball drop on CYMAX'S end, NOT the customer. If this is their policy, they should probably have more direct contact with their vendors so their delivery dates are correct. Their customer service is absolutely disgusting. If you're looking for a good online retailer, go to reputable ones that will gladly refund your money when THEY mess up. Cymax also tries to charge "restocking fees" and return shipping fees for an order you need to return if they decide not to honor their shipping dates. They have made my out of state relocation absolutely horrible and now my kids can sit on the floor for "a couple weeks" because we have no furniture. Don't go to Cymax, go to reputable online stores instead.

Cymax Stores Cymax Business (cymax.com) Review: Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever!

I gotta say, Cymax Business (cymax.com) is the worst of the worst! I ordered a T.V. stand and it took me four tries to get it in my cart. When I finally got my printout, they charged me for four T.V. stands instead of just one, which cost me a whopping $146.75. I managed to cancel three of them, but their auto-email said it would take 2-3 days to confirm the cancellation. I called them the very next day to make sure they were canceled immediately, but they never picked up the phone or confirmed the cancellation. I called back a day later and they said they would take care of it, but they never did. I canceled my order long before the shipping took place, but they still charged me for all four stands.

I contacted the shipping company to update me on the shipping, but they never did. Cymax added $146.75 x 4 to my Discover card and told me I would have to pay a restocking fee plus $31.00 each to send them back. They wouldn't reimburse me until I paid the shipping fee for the return. So, I would only get $115.00 back after they took out the return fee on each stand. They said it didn't matter whether I left the three extra stands on the truck and didn't take delivery, I was still responsible for the fees. I think they intentionally had the order open to keep adding to the cart four times before it showed one in the cart so it could be processed. By the time they charged my credit card for all four stands, I only wanted one.

I opened a dispute with my credit card company, Discover, and they credited my account for the cost of three T.V. stands. I received a letter that the dispute was being closed, but I wasn't told what to do about the shipping. I hadn't done this yet because Cymax said the time had expired for the returns. But if I still wanted to return the items, they could possibly open the process of returning them at $31.00 each. I called Discover to clarify what my next move was, but they hung up on me. Now I have to go through all of this crap again. I will never deal with Cymax again. They are thieves!

Cymax Stores Warning: Terrible Experience with Cymax Business - Shop Elsewhere for Your Furniture Needs

I recently made a purchase from Cymax Business and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I ordered a desk and it was shipped in two separate shipments. While one arrived without issue, the other was damaged in transit and never made it to me. While I understand that this was not their fault, it took them a full two weeks to sort out the re-order process. At one point, they even emailed me to ask what had actually been delivered. It seems that Cymax is simply a middleman, a place to click a button to purchase something and then they pass along your order to one of their "vendors" who will fulfill the order.

It has now been over a month since my original purchase date of 8/19 and I still have not received my order. The item is now showing as back-ordered for a couple more weeks. I finally decided to cancel my order and move on to a more reputable company. However, my cancellation request was denied and I received an email confirmation that the order had shipped. I checked the FedEx tracking number they provided and found that no shipment or label exists, even days later. It seems that they gave me a fake tracking number so that they could deny my cancellation request and now they are holding my money hostage until their "vendor" can eventually fulfill the order.

To make matters worse, if I decide to return the item, they will charge me the original shipping costs plus an undisclosed "restocking fee". Apparently, different "vendors" charge different amounts. This is highly illegal and I have had to file a complaint with the FTC. It is ridiculous that they are denying my cancellation request because they have not done their job, yet they still want to get paid.

I strongly advise anyone thinking of doing business with Cymax to be careful and shop around. It is not a deal if you never receive what you paid for. After filing complaints with the FTC, BBB, and a payment dispute with PayPal, Cymax finally authorized a full refund. However, they asked that I donate what I had received to charity and list them as the donor. They want me to send them the receipt from the charity stating that Cymax donated the desk I ordered at the full price that I paid. They only sent the metal legs and some nuts and bolts, yet they would like a tax deduction for the entire amount. This seems incredibly shady and I think the IRS may want a second look at their "charitable donations" listed on their corporate tax returns.

Personally, I will never do business with Cymax again and I strongly advise others to do the same.

Cymax Stores Nightmare Experience with Cymax: Unable to Cancel Order, Faulty System, and Poor Customer Service

Yo, I gotta say, working with Cymax has been a straight-up nightmare. I tried to cancel my order over a month ago, right after I placed it. I hit up Walmart to figure out how to cancel, and they told me to contact Cymax directly. So I tried calling Cymax multiple times, but I couldn't get through. I even tried the call back option, but nobody ever called me back. I tried that at least 5 times, on different days of the week, and still nothing. Since calling Cymax wasn't working, I went to their website to try and cancel my order. But when I tried to log in to my account, I couldn't. The purchase confirmation and order details I got from Walmart didn't work on the Cymax site. So I couldn't even cancel my order if I wanted to.

After that, I emailed Cymax directly to ask about the order and how to cancel it. I included all the order details I got from Walmart, but Cymax replied saying they didn't recognize the order information. So I went back to Walmart, and they sent me back to Cymax. I was getting the runaround from both companies, and nobody had any helpful information for me. I couldn't log into my Cymax account to cancel the order because of the disconnect between Walmart and Cymax. And all my email attempts were useless because nobody from Cymax was consistent in following up with me.

Honestly, I blame both Cymax and Walmart for this mess. Their system was faulty and didn't give me access to my order on the Cymax site from the get-go. If I had been able to log into my Cymax account, I could have canceled the order myself. But because of all this, I don't think it's fair that I should have to pay a $150 restocking fee. I tried so many times to cancel the order within the allotted time, but their system made it impossible.

So I'm taking this up with Paypal for a chargeback. I'd be happy to cancel the chargeback if I can get a full refund, but I don't think it's fair that I should be penalized for something that wasn't my fault. If the chargeback doesn't work out, I'll take it back to Cymax. I really don't want to pay that $150 restocking fee, and I'll do whatever it takes to get my money back. I might even report this to the BBB or some other organization that can help me out.

Cymax Stores Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business: Poor Assembly Instructions, Damaged Desk, and Unreliable Customer Service

I bought a desk from Cymax Business last summer for my new home. Let me tell you, the assembly instructions were a nightmare. I work full-time in an emergency department, so I hired someone to assemble it for me. It took them hours to put together, and when they were almost done, they noticed that there were multiple areas of damage on the desk. Corners were cracked off or peeling off. I was so disappointed.

The next morning, I called Cymax and spoke with a representative. I explained the situation and asked if they could send me replacement parts for the damaged pieces. The representative reviewed the pictures of the damage that I emailed to them and then called me back to inform me that they did not have the spare parts. I was so frustrated. But the representative reassured me that since it was damaged and I had already invested the time and money into assembling it inside the second story of my house, Cymax would issue a refund to my credit card for the cost of the desk. I was relieved.

I went ahead and purchased new supplies from Home Depot to try to salvage the damaged desk and paid the same people who assembled it to remove the damaged pieces and replace them with the newly purchased ones. It required quite a bit of time, as the damaged piece had pre-drilled holes in them to accommodate the screws, so that required making those same holes in the new piece of wood I had to purchase as a replacement.

A few days went by and I had not seen the refund show up on my credit card statement, so I called Cymax again to inquire about the status. I spoke with a different representative this time, who took down my email and advised me that someone would look into it and contact me. From that point forward, Cymax denied ever telling me that they would issue the refund and insisted that if they were going to credit the cost of the damaged desk back to me, I had to provide proof to them that I donated it to a charity. I was so angry. Despite my attempts to reason with them about how ridiculous that was, they refused to honor my previously promised refund or work with me to come up with an alternative fair solution.

I am so disappointed in Cymax. They clearly do not stand behind their product and do not value customer service or satisfaction. I highly discourage anyone from purchasing furniture from this company. The comparative prices may look appealing online, but what you get in return simply is not worth it.

Cymax Stores Beware of Cymax's Poor Customer Service for Ashley Furniture's Leo Captain's Bed

I ordered a Leo captain's bed by Ashley Furniture for my grandson from Cymax through Walmart.com almost two months ago. Unfortunately, the trundle frame arrived damaged, and it has been a complete nightmare trying to get anyone to respond with a replacement.

Cymax's customer service has been less than satisfactory. They even suggested that I donate the damaged frame to an unsuspecting charity, which I refused to do. It took three weeks for them to pick up the damaged frame, and I had to make numerous phone calls and send multiple emails before finally receiving a call back from "Travis," who claimed he would handle everything. He even introduced himself by saying, "Hi, this is Travis and I'm awesome!"

Travis promised me a replacement frame and a discount, but when the replacement frame arrived, it was also damaged. I tried to contact Travis again, but he was nowhere to be found. My phone calls went unanswered, so I had to start over and call the 800 number. I filed yet another return and asked for a full refund, as I no longer wanted the bed.

However, Cymax once again asked me to donate the damaged bed frame to a charity on their behalf, which I refused to do. It's not safe to donate a damaged bed frame that could potentially harm a child. Cymax also refused to pick up the damaged bed and wouldn't refund my money until I donated it and provided them with a receipt.

I've had enough of Cymax's poor customer service and am now contacting my credit card company for assistance. I strongly advise other buyers to beware of Cymax and their lack of customer support.

Cymax Stores Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business: False Advertising and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, my experience with Cymax Business was a bit of a mess. I made the mistake of placing my order over the phone, and boy did that turn into a headache. They tried to charge me extra for shipping, even though their website clearly says it's free. When I asked why, they told me it was because of the size of the items and that they don't deliver to my area. What kind of nonsense is that? If you're gonna advertise free shipping, you should actually mean it!

To make matters worse, it took a whole month for my items to arrive, even though they were supposedly "in stock". When they finally did show up, one of the stools was broken. I'm pretty sure it was shipped that way, too. They said they'd send a replacement, but it's been three months and it's still out of stock. I have a feeling they just pawned off my order to HomeSquare, which seems to be a sub of Cymax. They're both pretty similar, and equally incompetent if you ask me. Heck, even the cancellation link in their emails doesn't work! How sad is that?

If you're thinking of ordering from Cymax Business, do yourself a favor and read the reviews first. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle just to save a few bucks. I'm saying goodbye to them for good.

Cymax Stores Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays: My Experience with Cymax Business Furniture

I've been waiting for my office furniture from Cymax Business for 6 weeks now, and it's still not shipped. Their "fast delivery" promise is a joke. I was expecting my order to arrive in 2 weeks, but it seems like I'll be waiting forever.

The worst part is that I can't even talk to anyone in customer service. Their phone number only connects you to a salesperson if you want to buy something. If you have an issue, you have to write to their customer service department, which is terrible.

It takes them an average of 6 days to respond to an email, and if they promise to get back to you in 2-3 days, don't hold your breath. After 4 weeks, I finally got a tracking number, but it was cancelled 2 days later. I had to write another email, and 6 days later, I got a new tracking number with no explanation of what happened to the first one.

It's been 5 days since I got the new tracking number, and all it says is that the freight order was placed. I'm beyond frustrated with this company. Dealing with them has been a complete waste of time and energy. I suggest finding a more reputable vendor that actually cares about their customers and provides decent customer service.

Cymax Stores Disappointed with Cymax's Shipping Policy Change for Canada

I've had the pleasure of ordering from Cymax Business before and let me tell you, it was a great experience. I was able to find a variety of items at a reasonable price, which is a rarity in Canada. We all know how overpriced and generic the stuff in stores can be. So, when I stumbled upon Cymax, I was thrilled.

Recently, I was in the market for some new stools for my kitchen. I went to the Cymax.ca website and was greeted with a simple " :)" on their homepage. I didn't think much of it and decided to check out Cymax.com instead. I spent a couple of hours browsing and finally found what I was looking for. However, I hit a snag when I couldn't select Canada as my shipping address. I thought it might be a problem with my browser or the website, but I decided to call in just to be sure.

To my surprise, the lady on the other end of the line informed me that they no longer ship to Canada. I was extra cheesed. How could a Canadian company not ship their own merchandise to their own countrymen? It just didn't make sense. I scoured their website for any mention of this policy, but I couldn't find anything. Sure, there was information about sales tax and deliveries in North America, but last I checked, Canada was part of North America. What a joke.

I decided to send them an email expressing my concerns, but weeks went by without any reply or acknowledgement. It was frustrating, to say the least. In the end, I had to take my business elsewhere and ended up using Wayfair instead.

Overall, I'm disappointed with Cymax's recent policy change and lack of communication. It's a shame because I had such a positive experience with them before. I hope they reconsider their decision and start shipping to Canada again. Until then, I'll have to look elsewhere for my furniture needs.

Cymax Stores Terrible Customer Service and Damaged Merchandise: My Experience with Cymax Business

I gotta tell ya, I ain't never gonna buy nothin' from Cymax Business again. Their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. I ordered some furniture from them and it came all damaged. I called 'em up eight times and they kept promisin' me they'd take care of it, but nothin' ever happened. Finally, they told me the manufacturer didn't want the furniture back and that they'd send me an email with instructions on how to donate it to charity so I could get a credit. But guess what? No email ever came.

Now I got this big ol' box sittin' in my garage that they say I gotta donate to a charity of their choice, but I can't do it without the paperwork they were supposed to send me. And to top it all off, they're only open to answer calls from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm Pacific time. Ain't nobody got time for that! I work long hours just like everyone else, and I don't have time to sit on hold and wait for them to not do what they promised.

Cymax Stores Poor Customer Service and Delivery: My Experience with Cymax Business

I recently made a purchase from Cymax Business, specifically a coffee table and matching end table. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the coffee table was damaged. I quickly reached out to the company via email, providing pictures and all necessary information. They responded promptly, assuring me that I would receive a replacement order along with a tracking number.

However, after a few weeks had passed, I still had not received the package. I decided to use the tracking number provided, only to find out that it had been delivered to a completely different country. I was quite frustrated at this point and sent multiple emails to Cymax Business, but received no response.

Finally, I received a response to one of my emails, but it was not the response I was hoping for. They asked for more information, which I provided, and then informed me that my case had been escalated to a manager. Several days went by and I received yet another response, which read:

"We hope this email finds you well though we're sorry to hear you never received your item. Unfortunately as per our return/replacement policy, this is now outside of time frame and we are no longer able to assist. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused..."

I was extremely disappointed with this response. It seemed as though they conveniently ignored my emails until it was too late for them to do anything about it. My original email regarding the damage was sent within 17 days of receiving the product, which was clearly within the 30-day timeframe stated in their policy.

To make matters worse, I have since discovered that many other customers have experienced similar issues with damaged products and poor customer service. I would strongly advise against giving your money to this company. You will only end up regretting it.

Cymax Stores Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business: Poor Communication and Shipping Issues

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Cymax Business. I ordered three chest dressers way back in April of this year, and let me tell you, it's been a real headache dealing with these folks. First off, the company I ordered from paired me with them, and it's been bad business from the get-go. Communication has been a real issue, and it's been a real struggle trying to get any kind of response from them.

In May, I finally received the dressers, but when I opened the boxes, I realized that there was only one inside, and the other was chipped up pretty bad. I reached out to the company I ordered from, and they explained that it was a third-party seller, so they had to reach out to find out what happened. After some back and forth, they told me that one of the dressers was damaged in the shipping process, and that I would have to wait patiently for them to get a new one.

Now, I was working on a really important project, and I couldn't finish until I received that last dresser. But the third-party company was too ashamed to communicate with me, and they stopped responding altogether. They told the other company that it was damaged in shipping, and that they were out of stock until July 9th. I told both companies that I would wait until then, but now it's June, and the dressers that were originally $98 are now $149. So yeah, I'm pretty upset about that.

But then, yesterday, I checked my bank account, and they refunded me my money. I was so upset, because now I can't finish the project I started. My feelings are really hurt, and I feel like I was robbed. All I asked for was some communication, and it seems like that was too much to ask for.

Cymax Stores Disappointing Experience with Cymax Business: Missing Pieces, Poor Instructions, and Unreliable Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Cymax Business. I mean, I ordered a bed frame from them and I'm still waiting for HALF of it to arrive. It's been a real hassle, let me tell you. First off, when my order arrived, the whole 36 piece bed slats were missing! Can you believe it? So, I called them up and they said they'd replace it in 5 business days. I was like, "Uh, no way, that's not gonna work for me." So, I asked to speak to a manager and they put me on hold for like 10 minutes. Finally, they came back and said the manufacturer would overnight the missing pieces to me.

I thought everything was gonna be okay after that, but nope. I called them this morning to make sure everything was on track and they said I'd get my shipment today. But, when I called them at 3:40 PM to check the status, they were CLOSED! What the heck, man? Their message says they close at 4PM, so how come no one was available to take my call at 3:40?

To make matters worse, the instruction booklet they sent with the bed frame was a complete joke. It made no sense at all and all the bolts, nuts, and stuff were WRONG. We had to figure it all out on our own and it was a real pain in the you-know-what. We even had to take out screws after we'd already used them because the instructions were so useless.

All in all, I gotta say this company really sucks. I wish I'd found this site before I ordered from them and ended up without a bed to sleep in for 3 nights. So, if you're thinking about ordering from Cymax Business, BEWARE!

Cymax Stores Buyer Beware: Hit or Miss Company with Terrible Customer Service

This company is a hit or miss, depending on whether or not your product arrives in good condition. If it does, then you're in luck and will probably have a great experience. However, if your item arrives damaged, then you might be in for a rough ride.

I recently ordered a dresser for my newborn, who is due in a few weeks. Unfortunately, the dresser arrived damaged, and I didn't notice until I had already put most of it together. Getting in touch with the company was a nightmare. It took them forever to respond, and when they finally did, they couldn't figure out what they had sold me or how to replace the damaged part.

Their compensation options were pretty terrible. They offered me $30 back for a dresser that cost over $200, or I could donate the damaged dresser (so they could get a tax refund) and then they would refund me. Either way, I was still left without a dresser for my newborn.

Dealing with this company has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Not only did they send me a damaged product, but their refund options were terrible, and it took them forever to respond to my inquiries. To this day, I still haven't received a replacement part, refund, or confirmation for a partial refund.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to beware. While they might have some good products, their customer service is lacking, and if anything goes wrong with your order, you might be left high and dry.

Cymax Stores Frustrating Return Process and Poor Customer Service Experience with Homesquare/Cymax

I recently had an experience with Homesquare/Cymax that left me feeling frustrated and discouraged. The return process was RIDICULOUSLY onerous, and it seemed like Cymax did everything in their power to discourage me from returning my items. To make matters worse, the customer account on their website was not intuitive at all, and there were no clear return instructions provided. All I could find was a labeled menu tab, with no directions on how to proceed.

Despite these challenges, I managed to return my items and received an email with two FEDEX tracking numbers. However, there were NO labels included in the email or attached to my online customer account. When I tried to call Homesquare's phone number, I was directed to an email address that promised a response within 24 hours, but there was no option to speak with a phone representative.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to call Cymax directly and chose the sales option. However, I was transferred over to shipping and was met with a young and rude Asian man who talked over me throughout the conversation. When I asked him to stop talking over me, he became silent and condescending for the rest of our interaction.

To make matters worse, I discovered that Cymax had sent a THIRD email for two boxes on the same order, but it had gone to my Junk Mail folder. This email was difficult to print, and I had to increase the size to 110% to ensure that the two labels wouldn't be cut in half. The labels were not pdf files, so initially, the entire page-long instruction printed out with off-kilter labels. Simply highlighting the labels to print out separately did not work.

Overall, my experience with Homesquare/Cymax was frustrating and discouraging. I generally prefer to buy USA-made products and do not support this kind of BS. It will be interesting to see if and when I receive my credit.

Cymax Stores Bush office chair / website was down and customer rep Daniel could not find my original order and placed the order again.

On August 12, 2021 I placed an order with Bush Collection to purchase a Yorkshire Leather Ex. Office Chair. Sometime during in the process of purchasing YOUR WEBSITE went down. I was told this by Daniel, customer support, he helped me place the order again when HE could not find my original order. He did not know at the time the website was down and neither did I. Unfortunately, not our fault because your website was down, I ended up with two chairs. Unbelievable, I had to pay return freight charges via Averitt Express truck lines. When I called for credit they said they did not receive the chair. I had Averitt send the back up information showing it was returned with your RA-VRC121-[protected] and I forwarded it to your representative. I was told I would receive a refund in 2-3 days after it was received. Not only did I not receive the credit. Cymax shipped the chair back to us in a new smaller box with the old box top w/RA# on top with a NEW FedEx label from Cymax sending the chair back to us AGAIN! I called and was told a credit would be processed and keep the chair in a safe place to be picked up. The chair is still here and CYMAX CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN. If this is not resolved, the chair picked up at your charge, and TWO (2) refunds for duplicate charges charged two times in the amount of $522.15 each time. I have been charged THREE (3) times. I am contacting the credit card company as you were not authorized to charge my card a THIRD (3RD) time. I should not have had to pay AVERITT Express to return the duplicate chair Daniel order in the first place. If I do not get a immediate response, I will be turning this over to our company attorney and we will see you in court. I have every single email backing up with I have told you.

Desired outcome: pick up your chair and refund my card $522.15 x 2 for total of $1,044.30 for duplicate unauthorized charges to my card.

Cymax Stores horrible communication, service and approach to customer care

It's been 6 weeks since I ordered my office furniture, and it still hasn't shipped yet. The "fast delivery" on their site is essentially useless.

The original estimated delivery was about 2 weeks and here I am waiting for someone to do something. The company does not allow you to talk to anyone in customer service. Their phone # will only get you to a salesperson if you want to buy something. If you have an issue you are forced to write into their horrible customer service dept.

Their CS dept takes an average of 6 days to return an email. And if they say they will get back to you in 2-3 days, forget it. About 4 weeks in I did get a tracking #, only to see it was cancelled 2 days later. Another email and another 6 days later I get an email saying another tracking # with no explanation of what happened to the 1st.

It's been 5 days and the new tracking # simply says the freight order was placed.

Dealing with this company has been frustrating and totally useless. Save time and stress and find a more reputable vendor who provide any type of customer service which is better than the nothing service I've gotten from this company

Cymax Stores poor customer service

This is regarding order # VRC121-[protected] for a Student Desk with Hutch that was placed with Cymax on Order Date: 9/17/2017 1:27:16 PM. This order was received on 9/25/2017 - Monday 11:43 am. However, the bottom edge of the desk was damaged. It was hardly noticeable when placed on the floor. I filed a report with pictures though regarding this damage on 09/27/17. I was told there would be a replacement.
My son really loved this desk though, and instead of going through the trouble to return it thought we would go ahead and keep it. However, the hutch that comes with the desk is not functional and is made poorly. There is no way to use a computer on the desk with the hutch in place. The low shelf on the hutch interferes with a lap top computer. Therefore, I called the company back on October 17th and said we would like to keep the desk but send back the hutch.
The customer service representative proceeded to inform me that they could not do this as it is sold together. Even though I pointed out that on the website it is sold as a desk alone or desk with hutch. Therefore, there should be a way for me to return just the hutch and minus the cost of the desk. I was then told again that the whole thing needed to be returned.

I am writing this complaint to let Cymax know my displeasure at such poor Customer Service. That the company would rather loose money over the purchase than to just return the hutch. To the point where I will no longer be doing business with Cymax as they do not know how to provide qualilty service.
I've since returned the furniture and am waiting for my refund. However, I've re-ordered the desk from another company and given them my money instead.

Cymax Stores canceled my order

They canceled my order, even though I didn't ask for it. They sent me an email stating that I requested the cancellation. But I didn't. I really needed the items I ordered and obviously, it was their system mistake. When I called them they refused to confess it, which is very unprofessional.
They could just offer me to reorder and that's all.
I am very disappointed.

Cymax Stores customer service/ shipping

I'll start by saying that this is the first negative review I have ever left for a company and I shop both in stores and online, dine out, and use many professional services A LOT! For starters, my item was suppose to arrive between the 10-13, I called on the 14th to inquire on the whereabouts of my item and could not get through to customer service until 11AM my time. When they did open and I finally got connected, I was on hold for more than 30 minutes waiting to speak to a CSR only to be told by trisha that she had no explanation it was "a new shopping company she had never heard of or dealt with" and someone would give me a call back later that day. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, so she placed me on hold again and the man at ext 115 came on and said he would look into it and call me by 3pm my time, he never called back. The next time I called to inquire was in the 15th and I hung up after holding for 105 minutes, the next time I called was the 16th and was on hold for 65 minutes only to be told it should finally arrive the 17th. This company is ALWAYS experiencing high volume phone calls (easy to see why) and is not helpful or knowledgeable at all. Also, seeing as how i listened to their hold announcements for more than 3 hours, if like to say that "We will be right with you shortly" is first off... a lie, second contradictory and third redundant. Buyers beware when shopping on Amazon or other online sites that this is NOT the company your item is coming from!

Cymax Stores curio cabinet

Ordered Pulaski curio cabinet over 2 months ago back in May. This company/scammer like to tease a lot stating that your order is on your way or coming soon. I waited patiently for many weeks and I finally cancelled the order. They gave the confirmation of my cancellation and mentioned that it will take 7 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in my account. I've waited over 2 weeks and I still didn't see the refund. I sent an email regarding to the refund and they responded exactly the same way..."Refund has been requested on your order and you'll be refunded in 7-10 business days." AGAIN...lol. I didn't hear from them again when I stated "I want my refund immediately". This is not a legitimate company as you know and I never had such a trouble with my order. Please don't play this old games with me and to others. I will make sure that I get fully refunded. I could write longer but what's the point.

Cymax Stores office furniture

on 6/7/2017 I ordered 3 items for a total of $ 2, 971.97.
on 6/12/2017 Cymax notified me that the order had been discontinued by the manufacturer.
I cancelled the entire order on 6/12, acknowledged by Cymax the same day.
On 6/15 they charged my credit card account for the full amount $2, 971.97.
On 6/21 the credited $ 1, 788.98 which happens to represent one of 3 items ordered.
I am still waiting for the balance of the refund in the amount of $ 1, 182.99

Cymax Stores false advertisement from a shady company

I ordered a small wicker patio table for $99. What I received was a cheap plastic table . Cymax requires that you submit a return request to them online. I did that and when I did not hear from them I contacted Amazon Pay as I had used them as my payment source. So, for this falsely advertised cheap table, I was charged a $18 restocking fee, a $10 delivery fee, and I had to pay $42 for a return postage fee. Don't do business with this shady business!

Cymax Stores used chair for only two months and it broke

Bought a chair from Cymax and it broke after two months of using. I immediately reached customer service and demanded another chair or a refund. They said that there was nothing they could do to help. I was super angry and even spoke with the manager, which was the worst ever.
I'm talking about chair! When people buy furniture they expect it to serve years, not months!
I even told them that I'm planning to seek help from the police and they just simply replied that I can do whatever I want. They aren't even afraid! I'm pretty interested who stands behind this business if dealing with police means nothing to them. I don't recommend this company, they sell terrible quality products and there's definitely something wrong with them. Stay away!

Cymax Stores beware of this company!!! service is awful

Tues March 7th, 2017, Received 4 stools, 2 separate boxes, opened one box, assembled one chair March 8th, 2017, to see, and sit to make sure I liked them. Extremely uncomfortable, so I disassembled carefully, put everything back as it was in the box. All parts and pieces back in it's original shipping space, closed box to get ready to ship back, put in a return items order March 8th, 2017 got a return email 2 days later stating that "the manufacturer cannot accept returns on merchandise that has been assembled or is not in the original packaging, as these items are no longer in resalable condition"
This company is a crock, and just want to get your money... DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!
