Bought a bed at daily a bed southdail shopping center on the 1st March 2023
Literally 5 Months ago.
I must say the beds mattress condition is very weak and hurting my back already and I don't even have it a year.
I would like to know what will be done about this situation as I am very disappointed in this bed service.

Faulty matress - terrible service
Purchased a mattress from the Centurion Mall branch on 09/02/2023
From the very beginning, I could feel that the mattress was faulty.
On 24/03/2023, an inspector came to inspect the matress. His inspection lasted less than ten minutes. The following day, I received a call where the agent told me the reason for my discomfort was because I was not rotating the mattress, which was false because I had been doing this.
On 14/05/2023, I called to lodge the same complaint.
An entire week had passed with no communication after I was told that Sealy would be in contact with me the following Monday/ Tuesday after lodging the complaint.
I called in 21/05/2033 where the assistant advised that no complaint was lodged on the system and that he would do so. I was grateful for his assistance but extremely disappointed that it wasn't done in the first place.
On 23/05/2023 a different inspector, Patrick came and inspected the mattress. I fully commend Patrick for his thorough and hands-on inspection that went on for over thirty minutes; a completely different experience from the first inspector. His service was exceptional. As much as Patrick couldn't disclose his findings, I could tell he could've possibly picked up on a few factory faults.
The following day, I received a call from Sealy, where I was advised to call Dial a Bed Centurion Mall to arrange for the exchange of the matress. I called and was advised from an assistant lady in the store that the exchange was authorized provided that I pay R4965. When I asked what for, no feedback could be provided, all she said was that she'd forward me the mail. I confirmed my email address with her and received no email, two hours later. When I called back, the store manager answered where I then had to explain the entire situation again, he was somewhat helpful and he advised that no payment was due, that he'd give me a call later that afternoon. I waited and got no call. I don't understand the negligence of such a mistake either. How on earth can you possibly tell a customer they must pay just under R5000 to have a factory faulted matress exchanged?
I called in again and the same assistant advised that her manager was not in the store but that I would get the matress and was told not to worry and that he would give me a call -ofcourse, there was no call.
I completely understand that factory faults happen. I was never upset about this. I'm disheartened only at how difficult and poor the service has been. If the first inspector had done a proper job, he'd have picked up the fault. I'm happy it's been picked up now but I am appalled at the customer disservice.
It's 29/05/2023 today. I have not received any call regarding details of the exchange of my matress.
Another night on the couch. And another instance where I will have to be the one calling up for feedback and having to explain the entire situation from the beginning.
I've never in my entire life written any public review or sent in any complaints of any sort but this is truly the worst service I've ever experienced.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate some sort of feedback on when this exchange will happen and I would like to get a mattress of the quality I paid for asap. If that is too difficult, I would appreciate a refund so that I can buy a mattress elsewhere

Bought a sealy bed in December 2022. The base makes funny noises when I move or change sides. The base colour is not what I chose. A salesperson came to my house to assess the bed. Trust all is well?
I would like to return the mattress and pillows that I paid for on the 20 October 2022 from Dial-a-bed Princess Crossing and received Friday, 21. When we measured it we found that the mattress was smaller than the base. My wife called Walter and explained to him about the difference in size.

The reason is that the base is larger than the mattress. We called the salesman Walter and he explained that the mattress would expand to the original size to fit the base. I went to see him on Monday, 24th October to try and explain and request a new mattress. He said they will come and deliver this Friday, 28th. Given it much thought we have decided we want to return the mattress and base set for a refund.

Dunlopillo Comfy Gel Pillow
This is definitely not a comfy pillow. We have both tried to sleep but it hurts our necks. It is rock solid hard and extremely uncomfortable.
We even called other dial-a-bed outlets and no-one agreed that the mattress will expand to the size of the base.
We also called various suppliers of mattresses and they all disagreed with Walter.

We called dial a bed custk service just to find out information about a delivery about a bed we bought, the lady who didn't even say her name was so rude it seemed like we where forcing her to talk to us or give us information about delivery and a number for the driver so we can give them access code, she refused in very very rude way and shouting on the phone, if this is how DIAL A BED treats their clients for just wanting to find information, they have lost clients in us

Mattress that have a problem
I bought in November 2021 a mattress by Bloemfontein dial a bed .
By June 2022 it has laid out and not firm anymore.
When I got back to the agent in Bloemfontein branch on 16th June 2022 the sales lady asked for photos of the mattress which I send to her the same day.
Until now on the 27th nobody has come back to me or phoned me or anything.

The mattress is Making dents and we are rotating as directed. Not happy with the bed if it got dents know how will it look after a few years... I can hear what sounds like a loose spring. The bed was purchased in January 2022. Still brand new and definitely not the quality I expected it to be as explained by the salesman. We paid R11 000 for it. Restonic Queen Size
Please need assistance on how to log a complain against your above mentioned branch. I bought Restonic bed on the 14/09/2018. I called them in February to tell them the bed in sagging in the middle. They said Restonic would contact me. Restonic asked me to take pics they will assessed the bed and get back to me. They told me they credited the store and it will contact me. That did not happen I called them myself. They then said I must pay in R1620. I refused and told them that my bed is in warranty they then only explained to me how it works. I told them I will not pay because they should have told me before they took my money. They said there should have been a pamflet in the bed when it was delivered. I told them that they failed to educate me as there customer on how it works and did not do there work. The manager said he will try and speak to Restonic and see what he can do on his side. Two weeks past nothing happened. I called the store on Monday the manager was in East London. I went into the store this Tuesday he was still not back. They said he will call me on Wednesday by 10:10 the morning that did not happen. I went to the store again Wednesday afternoon. The salesman told me I can choose any bed they will credit me and I have to purchase a new bed
This is not warranty he made like it was very good news that I now dont have to pay in the R1620 and they will credited I have to pay the difference. I'm sorry do they think I'm stupid or what. Bought a forty winks queen meduim bed at Newredruth, Alberton early January a week after using it i went in to notify them the comfort wasnt the same and would like a refund and they told me they cant refund me as the bed was slept on, but can exchange it.which is absolute nonsense as theyll still sell the bed when exchanging it and we were told to buy a mattress protector should we want to return it. At the end of Jan, we opted to take two cheaper beds as Aside kept fighting with me regarding my refund. The beds were to be delivered at two separate addresses, which were given to the store and the warehouse guys that called. The beds were both delivered to one address and the bed that was supposed to be delivered to the other address and for the other to be picked up for exchange is still sitting there 3 weeks after delivery the other bed was picked up at the wrong address they delivered at but not taken to the right address. Asira's attitude has been appalling as well as the service and we just sick of the whole run around dial a bed must just pick up their beds and return our money
Delivery of bed
I relocated to Centurion, South Africa. I bought a bed on the 3rd of Jan 2022 and I paid a delivery fee of R399 to be delivered on the next day. On the 4th of Jan 2022 I received a call that the truck was full and that my bed will not be delivered. I had to sleep on the floor for the night and my body was really sore the next day. If I would know that the bed would not be delivered I would've rather use of an other bed shop's services.
Desired outcome: To at least get the delivery fee back

I've logged a complaint early in November 2021. A lady from head office phoned me and told me that the bed will be replaced by Dial A Bed. The bed qas bought online and it seems that no one take responsibility for my complaint. If I do not receive a call by Friday 10th of December, I will drop the bed off at Dial A Bed Vredenburg and would like to be refunded in full and will never buy from you store or product again.

Memory foam bed
I bought a bed in December and found that the bed makes me and my infant sick. We wake up with layers of gel coat with n our eyes. Every morning our eyesight is blurry.
I tried to explain it to Dial a bed a month after I bought the bed but was told they would only change within 7 days which had long passed.
I'm disappointed with the rude manager.
I can't afford another bed now but I feel like I'm going blind every morning.

Mattress
We agreed at N1 City for a refund and then taking away the mattress in question. I am now sleeping on the floor as N1 N1 City Dial a Bed Manager instructed his employees to take away the mattress and there was no refund received.
This happens after a very rude Manager at the shop telephonically.

The bed is a year old. It squeaks so loud every time my husband or me turns, and sags already. I have contacted Babes at the Pretoria branch where I bought it. Sealy mattress
We bought sealy queen mattress from your online store december 2018 and it was fine till easter 2019 where is started making squeecky sounds that were so loud that my son could hear them all the way from his cot which made him wake up and cry in the middle of the night. I called your office to file a complaint and I got new one early this year, by march this year the new mattress was making the same squeecky sounds as the last one. This is unacceptable! We pay good money hoping for the best service yet get the most worst one could ever go through so bavaria of this I don't want a new mattress anymore I want my money back. Dial a bed had been called numerous times and all response i get it, we will follow up and call you back - meaning i have to call again.
i am really at my wits end and am seriously considering laying a theft charge against the company.
