Dailysteals.com Review: Poor Customer Service and Damaged Product
So, like everyone else who bought a Nexus galaxy GSM from dailysteals.com, I was super excited to get my hands on the phone. However, my experience with this company has been nothing but problematic. I've tried to be patient with them, but I've reached my limit.
Firstly, after they charged my credit card, I never received any notification about when my item would be shipped. I had to email them to get a tracking number. It's frustrating to not know when your purchase will arrive, especially when you're excited about it.
Secondly, when I finally received the phone, I was disappointed to find that the screen was cracked. There was one huge crack and a couple of smaller ones. It was clear that the item had been improperly handled or shipped to me damaged. This was a huge letdown, and I was really upset.
Thirdly, I had to email the company twice over the course of a week and a half before someone finally responded to me. Their advice was to contact Samsung for their international warranty on the phone. I don't understand why I had to contact Samsung when dailysteals sent me a damaged phone. But, I decided to follow their advice and contacted Samsung. Unfortunately, Samsung said they wouldn't cover it. So, I had to go back to emailing dailysteals. After waiting for 3 days for their response, I'm still waiting. It's been 3 weeks since I've been trying to get a replacement, and their return policy is non-existent. The automated responses saying that a representative should be contacting me within 1-2 days are useless. They should either take them off or change them.
For those who have received replacements with paid shipping and all of that, I feel that those items are very inexpensive and can be easily replaced. However, for those who have received expensive items worth hundreds of dollars, dailysteals will try to drag their feet to help you. Maybe they're just waiting for dissatisfied customers to give up on the product. I usually give companies the benefit of the doubt, but this is taking way too long. Everyone who buys from dailysteals should be careful. You might end up like one of the many disgruntled customers.
Stay Away from Dailysteals.com: Shady Business Practices and Incompetent Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Dailysteals.com and I have to say, it was not a good one. I wish I had read some reviews before I decided to make a purchase from them.
First of all, let's talk about their name. The word "steals" is in there for a reason. They are not a reputable company and I would advise you to stay away from them at all costs.
The products they sell are not actually in inventory. This means that when you make a purchase, they don't actually have the product to send to you. Instead, they charge your credit card right away and then go to their suppliers to buy the product. This is a shady business practice and it's not something that reputable companies do.
I found out about this practice when I contacted their customer service to ask about the status of my order. They confirmed that they don't actually have the product and that I would have to wait "up to six business days" before they even had it to ship to me. This is not something that they disclose to customers before they make a purchase.
To make matters worse, they charge $5 for shipping for each item you buy. I ordered three small items and the shipping cost me an additional $15. This is ridiculous, especially when other daily deal websites charge much less for shipping or have a flat rate for your entire order.
After waiting nearly a week, part of my order was cancelled and I still haven't received the other part. Their customer service was stubborn and incompetent, which only added to my frustration.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Dailysteals.com to anyone. If you want to avoid being strung along and dealing with incompetent customer service, shop somewhere else.
DailySteals Warranty Review: Hidden Deductible Costs and Lack of Transparency
Hey there,
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with DailySteals. I was looking to buy a refurbished cell phone and was interested in their warranty, so I reached out to their customer service for more information. While they did get back to me pretty quickly, I was pretty frustrated to find out that there was a $75 deductible for EVERY claim - something that was not made clear on their website or in any of the information I received from them.
As a consumer attorney, I gotta say that this feels like a pretty shady move on their part. If the phone breaks after the 30-day warranty they provide, the customer is stuck with a mandatory $75 deductible if the phone can be repaired. If it can't be repaired, the warranty service pays current market value for a refurbished phone - which, let's be real, is probably not going to be worth much.
Let's say the phone breaks on day 31. The customer has paid $49.99 for a one-year warranty on a $59.99 phone. The deductible is $75, plus the cost of the warranty. So if the phone can't be fixed, the customer is out $49.99 + $75 for a phone that's worth less than $50. That's a total loss of $134.99 on a failed refurbished phone - not exactly a great deal.
I really think that DailySteals has a duty to disclose this information to their customers. It's not fair to hide this kind of information and then leave customers in the lurch when their phone breaks down. And while they do have some positive reviews on Shopper Approved, it's important to remember that those are only based on purchases - not on how many phones actually fail or need repairs.
Look, I get that the warranty covers customer damage as well, but I really think that customers deserve to know what they're getting into when they buy a phone and a warranty. If they know the risks and still want to take them, that's one thing - but they should at least have all the information before they make a decision.
Thanks for listening,
Maggie
Buyer Beware: DailySteals is a Scam!
So, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with DailySteals. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Nexus on May 31st, 2012, thinking it was a good deal since it was front and center on eBay's daily deals. I did see some negative reviews, but they seemed to be for lower-priced items, so I figured I'd take a chance. Boy, was I wrong.
It's now June 8th, and all I have is a tracking number that was created on June 6th, but the package hasn't actually been received by UPS yet. After doing some research and talking to other buyers, it seems like this is a common tactic for DailySteals - they create a label to buy more time to either source the product or fulfill the orders with their skeleton crew. Not cool.
I'm not taking this lying down, though. I'm filing complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and anyone who will listen. I'm even calling AMEX in the morning to see if they can help me out. I've seen a lot of negative chatter about this deal on several boards I visit, and I'm going to make it my mission to educate others about DailySteals and their shady tactics.
I guess I got complacent with my online purchasing, thinking I'd never get screwed over. But now I know better. And I'm holding both PayPal and eBay equally responsible for this mess.
I mean, come on, DailySteals - if you didn't have the stock or resources to fulfill 583 orders, maybe you shouldn't have sold that many in the first place! And don't even get me started on the quote from DailySteals on another site about the same item - "Due to an unexpected demand for the Galaxy Nexus, we are having a slight delay in regards to shipping. We sincerely apologize for this. However, your Galaxy Nexus is expected to ship very shortly. Once the order has shipped, tracking information will become available." Yeah, right.
Anyway, I just finished my BBB complaint and sent an email to the New York AG. eBay is next on my list, and then AMEX to see if they can help me out. I just hope others can learn from my mistake and avoid DailySteals like the plague.
My Experience with Daily Steals: Defective Product and Refund Issues
Daily Steals is a website that I recently had an experience with. On July 14, 2021, I ordered a Surface Pro 5 from them. Unfortunately, the device was defective and would not turn on or charge. I paid for the item through Paypal and the funds were taken from my bank account. I contacted Daily Steals to inform them of the issue and they sent me an RMA so that I could return the item.
After they received the Surface Pro, they informed me that they would have an update for me within 3-5 business days. However, on July 29, 2021, I had to send them an email asking why they had not refunded me yet. They responded and said that they had just processed my refund for the amount of $451.38. They also told me that I would see the funds in the next few business days, depending on my bank or financial institution.
On August 5, I emailed them again to ask for my refund. They responded and said that they had already refunded the order back to my original payment method. However, when I checked my bank account, I saw that they had given me store credit for the amount instead of a refund. I emailed them numerous times to ask them to refund the money to my Paypal account, but they kept repeating the same thing.
I was not happy with this situation and felt like I was being scammed. I decided to file a dispute through Paypal, but I did not receive a response from them yet. I also noticed that Paypal showed a different company that drew the accounts and not Daily Steals, which made me even more confused.
Finally, I received my funds back after disputing through Paypal. However, Daily Steals seemed to think that they were the ones who made it happen. This experience was not acceptable, and I hope that they will improve their customer service in the future.
Impressed with DailySteals: Cheap prices, good quality, and easy refunds
I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with DailySteals. I've ordered from them twice now and both times have been pretty smooth sailing. The processing time was a bit longer than I expected, about three days, but the shipping was super quick, only two days. I ordered two extended batteries for my phone and a 3-in-1 vaporizer pen. The first battery worked fine at first, but then it broke the next day when I tried to force in a bent USB cable. I emailed them about it a few days later and they got back to me pretty quickly, refunding me fully without even asking me to send it back. I wanted a replacement, but they were out of stock, so I just took the refund.
I decided to try again and ordered another extended battery, this time from an actual brand. It's working great and was half the price of my Mophie battery. It's not actually ***mah like it was advertised, but I knew that going in. It's probably more like 8000mah, which is still a great deal. They even sent me a second one of these batteries for free, which was a nice surprise. Maybe it was an apology for the first one breaking? Who knows, but I'm not complaining.
The vaporizer pen works well too, although it doesn't actually vape herbs, it combusts them. But that's to be expected with portable pens. The battery lasts for days, even with frequent use, and the ecig cartridge makes a lot of vapor as long as you have good liquid.
I just ordered a phone case from them, so we'll see how that goes. Overall, I'm really happy with my experiences with DailySteals. The shipping and processing times were good, the refund process was easy, and the products are good quality for the cheap prices. Don't expect top-notch luxury items, but for the price, you really can't beat it.
Beware of DailySteals: A Deceiving Company with False Promises
I just got a newsletter from DailySteals and boy, was I excited! They had a promo code madness going on and I was ready to take advantage of it. I mean, who wouldn't want a FoodSaver V3230 Vacuum Sealing System for only $38 with the code FOODSAVERDS? Or a Parrot Mini Drone with On-Board Live Video Camera for only $24.99 with the code JUMPRACEMIN? And don't even get me started on the ASUS Zenbook Laptop + FREE Logitech Mouse for only $135.99 with the code ZENBOOK10. I was ready to buy them all!
But then, I remembered my last experience with DailySteals. I received a newsletter from them before, saying that I could get the same ASUS Zenbook Laptop + FREE Logitech Mouse for only $135.99 with the code ZENBOOK10. I was so excited and I immediately contacted them to place my order. But then, I received an email from Dennis saying that they couldn't fulfill my order because of an error in pricing. I was so disappointed.
So, I decided to do some research and I found out that this is not an isolated incident. Many people have experienced the same thing with DailySteals. They advertise products at a very low price, but then they can't fulfill the orders because of an error in pricing. And according to the Federal Trade Commission, they are not obligated to honor such errors.
So, be careful when dealing with DailySteals. They may seem like a great deal, but they are just a deceiving company.
Poor Customer Service Experience with Daily Steals: Wrong Product Shipped and Limited Response Time for Options
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with DailySteals. I ordered a Roku 2XS on November 7th, but instead, I got a Roku XD. I was pretty disappointed, but I figured it was just a mistake and that they would fix it. Then, on November 26th, I got an email from Daily Steals saying that they had accidentally shipped me the wrong product and that I had three options.
The first option was to keep the XD model and get a $20 refund plus a $10 credit on my next Daily Steals order. The second option was to return the XD model and exchange it for an XS model as advertised. They would cover the shipping both ways, send an HDMI cable, and give a $10 credit towards my next Daily Steals purchase. The third option was to return the XD model with no shipping charges for a refund and also get a $10 credit towards my next purchase.
At first, I thought this was pretty cool. I mean, they were giving me options, right? But then I saw that I only had 22 hours and 45 minutes to respond to the email. I was in the middle of a big project, so I didn't check my email until the morning of the 26th and then again on the evening of the 27th. By then, it was too late. I had missed my "grace period" and they automatically gave me option 2.
I was pretty upset about this. I mean, I didn't want the wrong product, even if they were giving me $20 off. I tried emailing them and calling them, but I couldn't get through. Their mailbox was always full, or they had a message saying to email support. It was pretty frustrating.
I've ordered from Daily Steals before, and I've been mostly satisfied, but this was the worst customer service I've seen in a long time. I still haven't heard back from them, and I don't know when or if I'll get the product I actually ordered.
I don't think this is a good way for a company to stay in business. If I don't get the product I ordered, I'll have to contact my credit card company. I would definitely beware of purchasing anything from them. You never know what you're going to get.
DailySteals Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shady Business Practices
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend DailySteals to anyone. It's like they don't want you to get in touch with customer service 'cause there's no phone number and the online form just gives you a robot response. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them, and it all came in different shipments. I was waiting for the last piece of my order, a cream-colored weighted blanket with a hoodie, but it never showed up. I tried to contact them through their website three times, but no one ever got back to me. So I went on their Facebook page to complain, and finally someone emailed me back saying there was a family emergency and they'd take care of it. But all they did was give me a tracking number that didn't even show what was in the order. I got everything else I ordered, but not the blanket. And they won't give me a refund! I'm out $43 because they messed up my order and won't take responsibility for it. This is not the first time they've done this, either. They're shady and don't care about their customers. I'm reporting them to the BBB and telling everyone I know not to shop there. Don't waste your time or money on DailySteals.
Poor Customer Service and Shipping Experience with DailySteals
I gotta say, my experience with DailySteals was not the best. I bought a Sylvania 7" Wi-Fi Netbook Android from them back in 2012, and it was a whole mess trying to get it shipped to me. I reached out to them a week after purchasing because I hadn't received any updates on my order. They finally gave me a tracking number, but it was just a label and the item wasn't actually shipped until five days later. I was in contact with a representative named Rae, and they kept giving me the runaround.
First, they told me that the severe weather from Hurricane Sandy was causing delays, but then they said the item had shipped when it clearly hadn't. When I called UPS to check on the status, they told me they hadn't received anything from DailySteals. It was frustrating because Rae kept insisting that the item had shipped, but there was no evidence of that.
Eventually, I had to file a lost claim with UPS because the item never arrived. DailySteals wouldn't cancel the order or issue a refund until the investigation was closed, which was a huge inconvenience for me because I was leaving on vacation soon and couldn't receive any packages after a certain date. Rae didn't even provide me with a claim number, and I had to rely on the tracking number to get updates.
Overall, I was really disappointed with DailySteals. It felt like they were just trying to rip me off by charging my credit card and not providing any real information about my order. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

Disappointing Experience with DailySteals.com: Broken Emerson EVC1800 Digital Video Camera
I recently made a purchase on DailySteals.com for an Emerson EVC1800 digital video camera. Unfortunately, when it arrived at my home, I was extremely disappointed to find that it did not work. I tried plugging it into two different computers to charge it, but to no avail. The camera simply would not turn on. To make matters worse, I also discovered that the lock on the battery side was broken, rendering the camera useless as it was supposed to be waterproof.
All I wanted was a digital camera that I could use, but instead, I have a broken camera and it feels like all my money has gone down the drain for nothing. I was hoping that something could be done to correct this issue, as it seems like bad business to sell products that don't work. I decided to write a review about my experience, hoping that it would bring attention to the problem.
After writing my first review about the broken camera, I received a call from DailySteals.com. Unfortunately, I was unable to answer the phone at the time because I was at work. However, when I tried to call back using the phone number and extension that was left on my answering machine, I was disappointed to find that no one answered or returned my calls when messages were left. This is the worst business etiquette I have ever experienced.
All I wanted was a camera that I could use, but instead, I have $30 down the drain and a broken camera taking up space. It's frustrating to think that I may have to go through the hassle of returning the camera and waiting for a replacement, but I hope that DailySteals.com will take responsibility for their faulty product and make things right. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience with DailySteals.com and would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable products.
Disappointing Experience with DailySteals: Ink Cartridges Not Included as Advertised
I recently had an experience with DailySteals that left me feeling quite frustrated. I ordered ten printers from their website for what I thought was a great deal at $499. However, when the printers arrived, I quickly realized that they had failed to include the ink cartridges, which their website had clearly shown as being included in the price.
I contacted their customer service team to try and resolve the issue, and they initially agreed that it was an error on their part. They promised to send me the ink cartridges for the HP photo printer that I had ordered, but when the cartridges arrived, they were actually for a different printer entirely.
I returned the incorrect cartridges at my own expense and informed DailySteals of their mistake. They assured me that they would order and ship the correct cartridges right away, but just an hour later, they changed their minds and decided that they didn't want to fulfill the order after all. They even went so far as to change their website product pages to remove any mention of ink being included and the retail pricing information, which made it seem like I had misunderstood the offer.
I felt like I had been scammed by DailySteals, and I ended up having to buy the ink cartridges separately, which added an additional cost to my purchase. In the end, I realized that I would have been better off buying the same printer new from HP, as it would have been cheaper than what I ended up paying for the DailySteals deal.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with DailySteals. Their customer service was unhelpful and seemed to be more interested in avoiding fulfilling their promises than in making things right for their customers. I would caution anyone considering making a purchase from this website to be very careful and to read all of the fine print before making a decision.
DailySteals Review: Frustrating Experience with Slow Shipping and Poor Customer Service
I've been a loyal customer of DailySteals for quite some time now. I've grown accustomed to their quick payment processing and slow shipping times, but that's okay since most of the items I purchase are low-priced and not essential. However, my recent experience with them has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
On August 25th, I decided to purchase two Victory e-cigarette kits as gifts for my father and grandfather. They were looking for a healthier alternative to smoking, and I thought this would be the perfect gift for them. Little did I know that this purchase would turn into a nightmare.
After waiting patiently for weeks, I decided to send an email on September 16th to inquire about the status of my order. To my surprise, I received an email back stating that they were closed for a religious holiday and that I needed to give them a few days to update my order. Fair enough, I thought.
However, as of September 25th (one month after I ordered and paid), I still hadn't received any updates on my order. Frustrated, I sent another email asking for an update. This time, they responded saying that they were working on getting my order to me or refunding me.
To make matters worse, on September 29th, I received my daily email from DailySteals and saw that they were offering the same product again! I couldn't believe it. How could they offer the product to new customers when they couldn't even fulfill an order that I paid for months ago?
I decided to send them another email expressing my frustration and asking how they could still offer the product to new customers if they couldn't guarantee it to someone who paid for it months ago. Their response was that they were working diligently to fulfill my order and that if there were any issues, I would be the first to know. I highly doubt that.
At this point, I'm done with DailySteals. Any website that doesn't have a customer service number should be a red flag. I would strongly advise against ordering from them. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with DailySteals: Google Max Speaker Delivery Mishap
So, I decided to give DailySteals a try and ordered a Google Max Speaker on a Wednesday. However, on Thursday, I realized that the delivery address on their website was an old one. I tried to contact them but the only way to do so was through an email address. I finally got a response on Thursday, and they said they would try to change the address or cancel the order, but couldn't guarantee anything. I followed up on Friday, and they said they had contacted the warehouse, but still couldn't guarantee anything.
Finally, on Sunday, I found out that they had shipped the speaker to the wrong address via Fedex. I tried to contact Fedex to change the address, but they said only the shipper could do that. I contacted DailySteals again, hoping they could help, but they said they couldn't change the address either. They did say they would request Fedex to cancel the delivery, but it was too late. On Monday, I found out that the package had been delivered to a building I haven't lived in since 2013, even though I had made them aware of the issue the day after I ordered the product.
I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and attention to detail from DailySteals. It was frustrating to not have a phone number to call and speak to someone directly. The only way to contact them was through email, which made the process even more frustrating. I was hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, I will not be ordering anything from their website again.
Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with DailySteals' Refurbished Apple Mac Air Purchase
I recently made a purchase from DailySteals, and I have to say, I am extremely disappointed with the experience. I ordered a refurbished Apple Mac Air, fully aware that it would not be brand new. However, when I received the item, I noticed that it had a 3M zNitro preinstalled case, which was clearly meant to cover up a large dent on the face of the device. This was not mentioned in the product description, and I felt misled.
To make matters worse, it took three weeks for me to receive a return shipping label. When I finally mailed the item back, the website showed that the return status was rejected, even though their representative, Kevin, had emailed me the necessary RMA forms and shipping labels. The company has had my item for over a week now, and I still have yet to receive my $700 refund. I have emailed them numerous times, but have received no response. It's been four days since I returned the item, and I still have not received my refund. This is unacceptable.
I understand that it can take up to three days to process a refund, and an additional 3-5 days for it to reflect in my account. However, the lack of communication from DailySteals is concerning. I feel like I have been scammed, and I am not alone. After reading many reviews, I am scared that I may have lost my money. However, I always pay with a credit card, so I may have to file a complaint and refuse charges. It's a shame that I have to resort to this, but I feel like I have no other choice.
I want to warn others about DailySteals' returns policy. They claim that you can return items within 30 days for a refund or exchange, but this is not always the case. If they tell you otherwise, it's fraud. I am not one to write negative reviews, but their customer service and returns process leaves much to be desired. I hope that one of their representatives will respond to this review, like they have on some others. The burden of proof of their "Daily Steal" from me lies on them now. Let's hope they do the right thing.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering a purchase from DailySteals to proceed with caution. Keep all email communication documented, and always use a credit card. It's unfortunate that I had to learn this lesson the hard way, but I hope that my experience will help others avoid a similar situation.
DailySteals Review: Outdated Laptop Sold as New, Non-Existent Customer Service, Beware!
So, I recently made a purchase from DailySteals, and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. I ordered what I thought was a Lenovo Chromebook, but what I received was a laptop that was at least 15 years old! Can you believe it? They had the audacity to sell me an outdated model and pass it off as a newer one. It took more than a week for the package to arrive, and I had to constantly follow up with them about the shipping.
To make matters worse, their customer service is practically non-existent. I tried searching for their phone number on their website and all over the internet, but the only two numbers I found were not working at all. It's ridiculous! How can a company operate without any backup or support for their customers? I had to file a claim with my credit card company to reverse the charge since I returned the laptop. It was nothing more than an electronic paperweight.
I strongly advise against ordering anything from this company. The name itself, DailySteals, should be a red flag. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and there's a reason for that. If you search for a Lenovo Chromebook on their website, you might end up with a laptop that's older than you are. I was in the army in 2008, and even back then, we were using newer laptops than what I received from DailySteals.
I'm not going to let this go until I get my refund. If I don't see it within a week, I'm willing to travel to Brooklyn to get it. I want to warn others about this company and their shady practices. Don't be fooled by their low prices, because you might end up with a piece of junk. Buyer beware!
Disappointing Experience with DailySteals.com: Poor Packaging, Subpar Product, and Terrible Customer Service
I was really excited to find a great deal on Beats Studio Headphones on DailySteals.com. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I received my package. There was no packing material, no packing slip, and no instructions. The headphones were just thrown into a box, taped shut, and left on my doorstep. I was really disappointed with the lack of care the company took in shipping the product.
Despite the poor packaging, I was still hopeful that the headphones would live up to their reputation for great sound quality and noise-cancelling features. Unfortunately, I was let down again. After searching the internet for the product instructions, I realized that the "noise cancellation" was not as good as I had hoped.
I decided to reach out to DailySteals.com's customer service to see if I could return the headphones or get a credit. I sent two emails, but I didn't receive a response. I was really frustrated with the lack of professionalism and customer service. I decided to send a third email that was more emotional and expressed my frustration with their lack of response. I also mentioned that I planned to contact the Better Business Bureau and cancel my customer account if the issue wasn't resolved.
It's really disappointing to see a website that offers seemingly great deals not take care of their customers. I wouldn't recommend DailySteals.com to anyone. The lack of quality products, safe and secure packaging, and customer service is unacceptable. I hope that other paying customers don't have to experience the same unfair treatment that I did.
DailySteals' Misleading Tactics: Selling Generic Junk for Brand Name Prices
I'm starting to catch on to DailySteals' tricks. They got me twice now, and it's pretty obvious what they're up to. The most recent purchase I made was a "Sandisk micro SD card," but instead, they sent me some generic piece of junk in a plain white envelope. There was nothing else included, no little plastic baggie, just the card sitting in the envelope. I tried it out on my Nook, and it worked, so I didn't think much of it.
But then, about a week later, they sent an email to everyone who bought the "Sandisk" card, apologizing for the mix-up and saying that they actually sent a generic, probably used, piece of junk. They offered $8 off your next purchase if you filled out some paperwork. Who has time for that? They know that only a small percentage of people will actually go through the trouble of claiming that money back. So not only are most people not going to claim the $8 off, but the ones who do will have to come back and spend more money with them, buying more misleading generic crap.
It's like they're selling generic junk for brand name prices. I bet they do this all the time. It's kind of genius, I have to give them that, but it's also bad business. They're going to lose customers, and from the looks of this site, they already have. But if the numbers make sense and they can afford to lose customers and keep scamming new people, then I'm sure they'll go for the money and not the loyalty.
I won't be shopping there again. I'd rather pay a little more for something I know is legit. And watch out for their other crappy company, "Ice Monkey."
DailySteals Review: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Issues
So, I recently ordered something from DailySteals and let me tell you, it was a bit of a mess. I got an email with a tracking number and all that jazz saying my item was sent to USPS on May 11th, but it's now May 14th and there's been no movement. So, I went to their website to check the status and put in my order number, but it said "no order found." I was starting to get frustrated, but I waited over 48 hours for a response from their customer service team.
When I finally heard back, the first rep just sent me a link to the USPS website, which I had already been staring at for four days with no updates. I responded, trying to explain my situation, but I guess I wasn't being very polite because the director of customer service sent me a condescending email. He even threatened to send the email thread to my bank because he attached a link to the product that had shipped, but it was for DHL carrier instead of USPS. I never received an email or any notification that my item was being shipped with DHL, so I was pretty confused.
Their platform and staff really suck, to be honest. I won't be using them again. They don't seem to realize that their customers are what make their business, and they treated me like I was an idiot. I'm hoping to receive my item from DHL on May 18th, but if not, I'm definitely going to charge them back. They even wrote in an email to call DHL to take it up with them if the item isn't received, which is just ridiculous. I guess they've never heard of chargebacks for non-receipt of goods.
In the end, the director of customer service thanked me for all the information and said he would forward it on to make sure they correct the problem. It would have been nice if they had done that from the beginning, but at this point, I don't really care.
Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Delays: My Experience with Dailysteals.com
I recently made a purchase on dailysteals.com for a Samsung VR headset on August 16th. However, it's been over a week and my order still hasn't shipped. I tried reaching out to their customer service team multiple times, but it took them four days to finally respond to my third email. They told me to contact their supplier, GolStarTech, for a status update. I was disappointed with this response as I paid and contracted with Dailysteals, not their supplier.
To make matters worse, GolStarTech informed me that they couldn't help me and offered to credit me instead. I'm not sure how they plan on doing that since they don't have my credit card details. I'm still waiting for a resolution to this issue.
I'm disappointed with the poor communication and lack of customer support from Dailysteals. They don't have a phone number to call for assistance, so you're left waiting for them to respond at their own convenience. It's frustrating to have to deal with this kind of service.
Furthermore, I'm concerned about the possibility of my credit card details being shared with GolStarTech without my permission. If this happens, I will have to report it as fraud to my credit card provider.
I've been a loyal customer of Dailysteals for years, but I've noticed a decline in their service since they went bankrupt and resurfaced with new management and/or owners. Their shipping has become unreliable, and their prices aren't always the best deal, especially when considering warranty and other potential issues.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Dailysteals to others. It's important to be aware of their poor customer service and potential issues with sharing credit card details.

Sending of a different hair clipper than advertised
Ordered a hair clipper (BaByliss FX870BN) that was supposed to come with assessories including 8 guides for depth control while cutting hair. Received the shipment in good time. Opened it up and tried it out. Worked great. Went to use a guide, but it wasn't there. Reported the missing guides. They claimed that they'll look into it and get back with me. They didn't. I reached out to them again and someone got back to me with a return label stating:
"Upon successful receipt and inspection of your return, your missing item will be shipped.
Please let me know if you have any questions."
I had to point out to them that without the clippers, I did not need the guides.
They finally asked if I wanted $10 credit to apply to the missing guides. I accepted to put the ordeal behind me. So I shopped around for guides to fit the model number that I referenced from my purchase receipt. Ordered them, and they didn't fit. Looking into it, they sent me a totally different model number (BaByliss FX787S) altogether. A clipper that is meant for trimming only and does not accept any guides. I notified them of this (just after I had to remind them to refund me my $10) and told them to hold off on the refund after all. I want to return the entire product. They told me that since I used it, that that was no longer an option. They then closed the support ticket (the only way I could communicate with them as they never returned an re; email).
They had no idea what they listed, and what they sent. That wouldn't be that big of a deal if their customer service was up to par. It isn't. A frustrating experience altogether.
Desired outcome: I want to return the clippers and get a full refund. They were not the clipper that I ordered!

Dell Desktop computer w/monitor
There was no incident, we ordered a Dell Celeron-N2840 2.16 GHz 4GB desktop computer the beginning of September. We also order a google chrome ll P22T 3120 on the same order. The check cleared the bank on 9/8/21. The desktop computer would not come on when my husband plugged in it. He tried all the things he was asked to try by the people at Daily Steals and it would not work. He was given permission to return it. The computer has been back at Daily Steals since the end of September. We have been trying to get the money back from them since that time and all they say is we need your order #. I did not receive an order # when I ordered these computers. My name is Maureen Crawford. I live at 1378 Satterfield Rd., Greer, SC 29651. We are asking for help in getting our money back for this computer. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Get a refund for the money we paid for the desktop computer
We would like to get a refund for a computer we ordered and it would not work. I found an order # perhaps this is what they need. The number is 6104303.
Xbox elite 2 controller
Purchased an Xbox elite 2 controller as a Christmas gift. It came in a clearly damaged box, dented corners, carvings on box, scratches and it appears to be taped closed not by the factory. I can't give this as a gift. It looks awful. Especially if it is used and repackaged. I only asked for a refund due to the condition of the box. It is unopened and I want to return it hassle free as advertised.
Well it's not hassle free returns after all. No phone number to call. You have to email. They responded 2 whole days later with "send us photos. We have to investigate ". I did just that without saying a word. They responded with "we will find a resolution within 48 hours keep in mind we are closed weekends and holiday". It's two days before thanksgiving…
Resolution? I'm asking for a refund of an unopened product I purchased. Why am I being put through a hassle? Amazon doesn't give you the run around. Best Buy doesn't interrogate you. Costco welcomes returns. The list goes on. Why would anyone ever purchase anything from a company with these unfair deceptive practices? Read more reviews before making a purchase. It's just a huge hassle. I'm sorry I ever stumbled upon their website. First time last time customer here. Big mistake
Desired outcome: Refund
postage stamps
I ordered postage stamps today (Sept 22 2021) and was not aware that tax was going to be added to the order before I had a chance to review the order.
I would not have placed the order if I had know about the tax ahead of time.
Also tried to call customer service and there is no phone number...why is that?
Not off to a good start.

Hello,
It looks like your return has been delivered, we should have an update for you within 3-5 business days!
On July 29, 2021 after sending an email asking why they had not refunded me. they wrote:
Hi!
I have just processed your refund for the amount of $451.38!
You will see the funds in the next few business days (it all depends on your bank or financial institution).
Please check your email for confirmation and let me know if there is anything else I can do!
Thank you!
On August 5, I emailed again asking for my refund.
They answered:

"Hi Edgar,
Yes, we already refunded the order back in your original payment method. The refund would reflect within 3-7 business days depending on your bank. You may call your bank to check out the refund.
Thank you"
My bank shows nothing. Upon checking their web, they have given me store credit for the amount. I have emailed them numerous times to ask them to refund to my paypal account and they keep repeating the same thing. I have filed a dispute through Paypal and no response yet. However, Paypal shows a different company that drew the accounts and not Daily Steals so I have no idea how this will turn out.
This is not acceptable and it's a scam. My funds should have been returned by now.
Desired outcome: Refund
Beats headphones
I ordered a pair of headphones (order #2927915DS ). When they arrived (5 days ago) there was no receipt or return instructions in case I needed to return them.
I sent several (a dozen or so) emails to [protected]@daily steals, as is instructed on their website.
All I received were the same canned response, twice. "We'll consult our return team and get back to you"
No response.
Now, since they're so untrustworthy and flaky, at this point I would not trust them to receive the item(should I ever receive return instructions!) and issue my refund.
