Bank Account debited now having a problem getting a refund
Last week Thursday 1 December my bank account was debited with an amount of R1569.This amount was incorrect. This was not my error but the college. I have called 4 times and everyone sends me in different directions. I am extremely upset that I need to go through a whole process when the system wasn't updated on DCC's end,
I have requested the refund forms but nobody has sent it to me after multiple emails. May DCC please handle refunds as urgently as they do when harassing people to pay them even if they have paid them on time monthly.
I await the refund forms and hope that this refund process is a swift as it was for DCC to debit my account incorrectly.
Awful service
I have completed my Diploma in Business Management last year, whenever i request for my Certificate to be sent to me, i always get the run around. No one seems to know what they doing. A whole year .

I emailed the college on 03 November 2022 requesting feedback but nothing .
Once again on the following dates but still got ignored,15 October 2022, 03 October 2022,04 August 2022 & 23 June 2022. All these emails sent to [protected]@damelin.edu.za, [protected]@dcc.edu.za, [protected]@dcc.edu.za. The last staff member I spoke to promised me that it will be sent to me via email and original sent via pep stores near me because I completed all that information when I submitted my award request. This is by far the most awful horrible service I have ever got from learning institution. It costed me my job last year since I couldn't provide them with my proof of qualification.

Exam Timetable
I am currently registered to write exams this month (November) I did bring to the Colleges attention that 2 of the subjects I am writing is on the same day at the same time. To date I have not received any feedback. I do have a job where I need to apply for study leave in advance and I cannot do so until this has been sorted out. I am currently on hold waiting to speak to a consultant for the past 60 mins. I have sent numerous emails and am yet to receive a response. The service I have received from this College over the past 2 years is absolutely shocking as one would never expect this service from a private institution. We are not getting these services for "free" so why should we beg for feedback.

This issue has been resolved after countless calls and emails, can you please assist me with registration forms for my 2nd year as I am getting no joy yet again. I have also emailed your customer care along with the other email addresses I have and was told to call the number above and they will assist but as I said no-one answers the phone. No line of communication and zero response to any questions
I have been trying to obtain information in respect of assignment and assessment results. I also need to know when I will recieve my exam entry confirmation letter. I've been assigned a student advisor, but this is pointless! This person cannot answer any of my questions and has ignored several of my emails. The number provided to make contact conveniently gets cut after holding for 20mins, this i've done several times in hopes of a different outcome. I've sent an email to just about every department in hopes of getting answers or being called. Service is of utmost importance and right now it is non-existent. No decency to reply saying that the matter will be looked into or that someone will get back to me. All correspondence is just blatantly ignored and its almost exam time. The funny thing is that when they were trying to trace my payment, they knew exactly how to reach me, even used my alternate email address and I recieved several calls. Please, I highly advise that careful consideration be given whether to study via this institution especially if it's your first time, you will be totally lost.

Refund
I have been waiting for my refund from Damelin since last year and everytime I send them emails, I get the same response that my query is prioritised and it's with the finance department. I tried engaging DHET and they are not helping at all. Please assist. Student number [protected].
I registered for a course in 2021 to empower myself as I was retrenched. Damelin kept on postponing the course until I cancelled it. I was asked to fill the refund form which I had to do two times as it seems like everyone who works for Damelin is incompetent. Since 2021 November, I have been waiting for my refund.

Lack of job finding and no lectureres in my 2nd year of study
I studied at Damelin from 2018 to 2020.
In my 2nd year of studying, two essential lecturers had left. There were no lecturerers on campus for my class for the duration of 2017. The students had no guidance or proper support for the last two years of that course.
The collage also made promises in its advertising to help find us jobs. That did not happen. The course was a waste of 3 years of my time and R32 000 of my money. Most of the course was not covered in teaching. I still dont have a job due to lack of knowledge in the field I wanted to go into.
Desired outcome: Due to no lecturers during 2017 and 2018 They should have refunded the students or at least partially refunded.

to be honest Damelin has the worse service, i enrolled July 2022 i got my text book 07/10/2022. not that i thought it was worse no one knew how do i go about studying online some told me they will just give me text book and that it no videos of some sort nothing to help. every thing is just a mess i am even discourage to even finish my modules. i try calling every day but the phones goes unanswered i wish i have chosen another school. as we speak right now i dont even know what the way forward

Poor service delivery
Disgusted pissed,with the level of service from the school.Your employees are useless.How do I pay for am course am not studying for,I asked for my course to be cancelled and yet nothing hsaas been done.I did escalated my query to Queen and her manager Freedom which honestly cares about nothing but making sales.Am a full time employee and requested to study virtually or possible alternatives to be offered however that was never done.i immediately asked for this course to be cancelled and to date am fighting that battle.i hate the school with everything in me amd regret ever approaching them.

I have registered with damelin online last year and i have never studied on the program i was enrolled to, I send out cancellation forms for refund and I was first told that I'll never get the money back and i made peace with, second time damelin then contacted me to resend the refund forms the finance department agreed to pay me back, I did send the forms and was advised to wait for 30-60 days for the payment, but that never happened. I don't understand why I am not getting the refund back since I didn't participate in their program.

Tuition Instalments
The original tuition instalment agreement with Damelin Menlyn required a deposit to be paid. My son confirmed that he cannot pay the deposit to which Damelin Menlyn provided him an updated quotation with the option to pay the tuition over 10 months without a deposit. We have been paying this every month, as per the agreement and now Damelin is saying that he is in arrears. They subsequently updated my credit record (as I'm the responsible person) with missed payments and out of desperation we paid the entire outstanding amount to get my credit record updated. The finance person at Menlyn wrote to Educor asking them to correct my credit record but no one is responding to this. They are just ignoring my requests to get this resolved.

Damelin Goes Off The Grid
I submitted assignments about 7 months ago and still have not received my results. I wrote my FINAL exams 3 months ago and still have not received my results.
I have sent more than 10 emails to all of their email addresses and try calling them daily but the number [protected] appears to no longer be working.
Today I have laid a grievance against them with the Dept of Higher Education & Training.
ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL. THEY ARE A PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN INSTITUTION!

I studies through Damelin in 2014, I have not received any qualification to date. 2 years ago I was told that when the ownership changed, data was lost on their systems and asked to re submit all work. Which I did but I have not been given any clear indication of when the issue will be resolved. I even forwarded emails to them from their exams department with the marks I had been sent and nothing has been done.

I have applied for a refund in Nov 2019 . They policy is a 90 day wait. I waited and since April til today when i follow up i get the same response :"Please note this matter has been prioritized and once we have obtained feedback I will contact and advise you accordingly."
Its going to be a year and this matter is still not yet resolved. Damelin please run a professional business. Every student registered are unhappy with your service.

I enrolled for a course at damelin in 2021 and didn't get any communique from them, I went to their campus to find out what is going on after two months of not hearing anything from them. That's when they told me that the course I enrolled for didn't have enough students enrolled for them to run it. I then filed for a refund in October of 2021, it's the 28th of August 2022 as I'm typing this and I still haven't received my refund. They don't even bother to call to let me know why they are taking so long, I keep calling every 2 weeks to only hear the same old story,"it is with our finance department".

my daughter was a learner for matric 2018 in damelin correspondence college i overpayed an amount of R32 000 which they are aware of to date there has not been a way forward for that refund regardless of the statements letter of authority and the refund form being submitted to craig as directed for 3yrs now.lately they have opted to ignore my emails.how possible is that such a big company fails to refund a mearge amount of money.
