I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Damelin College regarding their poor communication and failure to deliver the promised educational services.
I enrolled in the Higher Certificate in Marketing Management program through Damelin (distance learning) intending to commence studies in 2024. I made the requisite payment in early January 2024, as instructed by Damelin, under the assurance that studies would commence promptly thereafter.
However, since making the payment, I have encountered a series of disappointing experiences with Damelin. Firstly, there was a complete lack of formal communication from their end, including no welcome correspondence or information regarding class schedules. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them via calls and emails, I received no satisfactory response until much later.
After numerous follow-ups, Damelin finally informed me that introduction classes would commence in the week of 28 February, and the first week of actual classes would begin in the week of 4 March. However, to date, several modules' course content remains either unavailable or incomplete, with incorrect dates if uploaded at all.
My frustration with Damelin's poor communication and failure to fulfill their promises has reached a boiling point. Their disregard for students' concerns and their apparent inability to address fundamental issues call into question the credibility and integrity of Damelin as an academic institution.
