I have submitted assignments to the college in August 2021 and despite numerous emails and phone calls, my results are still not available.
I have made complaints to their own complaints department, the office of their COO and The Department of Higher Education. Alas, nothing has been done to assist me. They also never send you your results out of their own, you always have to call and email about 10 times before you get them.
I am now in my final semester but it is impossible to plan accordingly without first receiving my results from last year. How this institution is still standing is mind-boggling as I know for a fact that this is the same exact issue that my fellow students are facing.
To any prospective student reading this: PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM DAMELIN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

I have been trying to register for almost 2 weeks to write my matric in Jule. registration closes on the 31st of Jan. received a list of schools to write and register and each school tells me they are fully booked. I have logged calls and spoken to Ismail which wasnt very pleasant helpful and rude. I was told they will get back to me within 24-72 hours it has been over 72 hours now. Also Sibongile advised I do not have to do my assignments hence I am struggling to find the text books which my assignments needs to be done and need the text books only to find that theres a section in all study material that 40% of the marks will count towards my end results, since last year its been a nightmare and I have spoken to so many people who really struggled with Damelin. Also theres no tutors available. I have requested someone to call me hence I need help and no phone calls or e mails. This is only a few issues I addressed as there is so much more.

Hi. Damelin college is one of the college I will never talk about or give any good reference to any internal or international students. I have been asking for refund since 2019 it had never happened than lies and empty promises this could lead to a legal process.
I paid school fee at damelin College in cape Town and they were not ready for the course that my brother had to attend so we had to switch to another college and college promised to refund and how ever all procedures were followed and a refund date was set on 2019 but since November 2019 till today its empty promises from Naomi, Naidoo and many more from cape town.

Disgusting service/no correspondence
What was supposed to be a 1 year course has turned into a 5 year nightmare. I registered in 2017, submitted all assignments on time. I started requesting feedback and marks on assignments and was ignored. They would not respond to emails sent and would send me from pillar to post when I called. So I decided to stop making payments and that did get their attention as I was now emailed and asked to make payments and also got a few phone calls requesting I make payment. I would explain I was not going to pay until I got feedback and marked assignments and that would also go in vain.
I against my better judgement registered and paid to write my exams even though I had no idea how I was doing academically and even then got no timetable or correspondence (no response to any effort I made).
I finally found and made contact with one gent who was as shocked as I was at the service and pushed for marked assignments and in the space of 3 years I received 4 marked assignments out of 9 submitted until he also gave up trying.
I then requested they cancel the course which obviously didn't happen.
I am so angry as there is now an outstanding amount on this that reflects as a default on my credit profile and I don't even know who to contact to get it removed and also just don't trust they will do that competently either.

Delay in refunding money paid in as a deposit at the end of 2019
My son was registered at the end of 2019 at Damelin College for graphic design. The deposit was paid but it was stated to me and shown to me that the it is refundable. We cancelled his registration with Damelin in January 2020 and stated the process for the refund. We were advised that it would take 3 months. It is now December 2021, nearly 2 years later and I have still not received the refund. We sent numerous emails to the institution requesting for the refund but no success. Every time a date is provided as to when we ill be paid out but that did not happen. The last email recieved from Damelin was in August from Naomi Booth stating that payment will be done on the September but that did not happen. Currently we are being ignored becuase the institution is not responding to any of the emails that are being sent and they are not taking my calls at the refunds section.

I wrote a review a few weeks ago, my complaints is the first time made an application to damelin college was late September, payment was made on the 24th of September, after calling the entire week and also emailing the manager I received the login details for the online portal myclass, however it was not working, I then had to wait up until the 6th of October to get into the portal, a say later I called for Ontario to details to get access to a tutor, Ive emailed the manager many times however he kept sending me the wrong email address, I finally got a hold of the student support telephonically a week later and still no response from anyone, the guy said to send through an email requesting a tutor, I filled the forms and sent on email no response. The best part is the manager provided me with wrong details for the student support. I'm becoming very frustrated and I want a full refund immediately. This is not how an institution should behave.

Been waiting 6 months ons feedback for my final assignment results
Submitted 2 assignments in 2021 for Financial Acc 1 and 2. Assignments D20059601-E submitted on 23/04/2021 and D20059486-D submitted on 26/05/2021. I've been phoning for months to get feedback. Outstanding refund
I enrolled in 2018 to study toward a Diploma in human Resource Management. I dropped out in 2010 on my 2nd year second semester. So when i enrolled myself again in 2018 i was going to continue where I left off. But only in February 2019 i was told that i was enrolled for a wrong course, as I was going to do a FET IN HRM instead of HET. They advised me that they are going to rectify the mistake with Head Office then they will enroll me for again for the HET course. I must not attend any classes as they will notify me as soon as they get approval from Head Office. But they never got back to me. I was constantly calling and emailing the campus frequently but no one came back with feedback.
I then applied for a Refund in March 2019 and was advisedof the 3months waiting period. In July 2019 I contacted the campus again trying to figure out the outcome of my application. I was then referred from one person to another but all of them where saying they will revert back to me as soon as they got feedback from Head Office.
In 2020 I was advised to fill another Refund Form and Philile phekana assured me that she will send it to Head Office again. Since then I have been waiting for any kind of feedback but nothing and no one seemed to bother regardless my numerous attempts contacting them.
December 2020 i went to the campus personally and i was advise to speak to the General Manager Nereshnee Naidoo who was new as Mr Baker the previous GM has resigned.
Ms Naidoo promised to help me with my matter and only in 15 January 2021 she replied to my email that she has escalated my matter to Busisiwe Vusani the (new Accounts Clerk)after Denise Chetty also left the school. I continued to keep contact with both Busi and Nereshnee. By luck on the 27 of May 2021 Nereshnee sent me an email stating that my scheduled payment date for the refund is the 8th of Ocrober 2021. I then waited, came the 8th the payment was not made to my account. I then called the campus and was told that Busi was on leave, I was then referred to Samantha Fredericks who I called and spoke to. She promised to call me back the same day with information regarding my refund. She never got back to me till today.
All i am asking for is Damelin to process my refund as I have been waiting for since March 2019. I have been contacting and been tossed around alot of Damelin personnel regarding the samething and still nothing. I am not sure what to do anymore or where to go now in order for my matter to be resolved.

Amended Senior Certificate
I registered my daughter for the course and paid the full amount. I was told that she would get the material within a week. A month later and I am have been passed from pillar to post. Student services do not answer the calls and my emails go unanswered. I phoned the head office, who was not prepared to assist and referred me back to Braamfontein. I have been told that it will take 90 days for a refund. This is disgusting service and a scam.

I enrolled with Damelin for a course on the 22nd of September, I paid for the course on the 24th of September a week later after many calls they sent me the log in details for the online portal, I downloaded the portal it did not work, now a week later, Ove been calling the student support, I'm always put on hold, when I attempt emailing the email kicks back, I've reported this to the manager in the sales department John Liabara, Ive called and emailed their head office, I'm still not receiving any assistance.

My Sister enrolled at Damelin in 2018 and the course she enroled for never happened. its 2021 now and we have been trying to get her refund at Damelin since 2018 and they keep on promising that they will pay. in september 2021 they gave me a date that they will pay on 23septermber 2021 but the payment was never made.
I spoke to a lady Naoimi she said damelin did not have enough money to refund my sister and that was not the first date i was told the payment will be made there were other dates as well prio the 23rd of septemeber.

It really is tiring dealing with Dcc especially when you need your exam marks or assignments, we have been sent emails regarding our summative and formative assessments on the 7 September 2021, that the results will be sent us to by no later than the 10th of September 2021 till to date, am still waiting, called Dcc and was issued a reference number when I call am being told to wait, which made me not to even trust the exam results if they really mine because of the incompetence I keep getting from Dcc, all they know is that when you want a remark you should pay 200 or you can just rewrite an exam that will cost 450 per subject which I just see all of this as a money making scheme, the incompetence level makes me to question if really do they take their time to mark our scripts,

Paid 3 months ago, they are ignoring my emails, no access to course
I enquired about a degree I want to do. Feedback was great until I paid for my 1st year. Paid in July, and I email them every week, sometimes more than once a week, and I still can't access my course. They ignore all my emails, if I am lucky I get a "send a screenshot" or someone just passing it on to someone else. So Damelin is great at responding to people before they enroll. But terrible and they don't care once they have the money.

I made a re-fund in may 2019 up to so far they did not pay the money they keeps on giving excuses whenever I do a follow up. I cancelled my studies with them after receiving the poor service they offered to me, their employees doesn't care about the student they only care about our money.

I've completed a Short course at Damelin City Campus in 2016, I have been deemed competent its been 5 years and I have not received Certificate of completion of this course. I've contacted Morne Zaayman, Liezel Sonn, Zelda Strydom, Billy De Beer, Retha De Jager, Chris Beukes, Moella Rasutha, Sabiha, Karbary, Lerato Setuke and Valencia Muthukisten. Not one of them could resolve my matter. Every time someone new contacts me then a month or 2 later I get told that he/she doesn't work at Damelin anymore. Then I have to start all over again and find someone who can assist me.
I've just had enough of Damelin terrible service, I thought I made a good choice to further my education at Damelin but It was the worst mistake ever.
