My son was registered to complete Civil Engineering in 2019 level 3 and4. I had paid the total fees for the year in June 2019. He didn't pass level 3 and the student advisor had advised us that he should complete level 2 in the second semester. We agreed to do this and as a result Educor, which is the head office of Damelin had to follow a lengthy process of cancelling his level 4 registration and re-registering him for level 2, which resulted in a refund amount that was owed to me. I was informed that I can carry this amount to the next year or request a refund to be paid back into my bank account. I completed the relevant forms and was informed that the refund will be paid on the 20/12/2019. Take into consideration that this whole process started in August 2019. Because of this lengthy process and lack of co-operation from the relevant staff at Damelin Randburg and Educor HO, I have decided to not re-register my son at Damelin in 2020 and to be honest I will not recommend anyone to study at Damelin or any colleges linked with Educor. To date, I have been emailing Damelin Randburg, Educor, the relevant managers in both companies and no response has been received. It's simple, they owe me money and it seems like they are doing what ever it takes to not pay this money back to me. This is regarded as theft in my mind. How can this be effeciently resolved?
