Today, October 2, 2023, I attempted to mail a package at the locat post office. The cost was $17.10. I had $35 in my dayforce wallet account. I swiped my card and entered the pin number. The transaction was declined. I attempted to pay for the transaction a second time ensuring I entered my pin # correctly. The transaction was declined again. I ended up paying with a different card. When I left the post office I checked my Dayforce wallet account and noticed I was actually charged $17.10 twice and the money had been deducted from my balance even though both charges were declined at the post office. I spoke with a customer service rep who kept me on hold for over 40+ mins just to tell me she would submit a dispute and it would take 10 days to have the $ put back into my account. This is unacceptable as there was no explanation why my transaction was declined at the merchant nor should I have to wait for 10 days to have money added back to my account that never should have been taken out if the transaction was declined. I asked to speak to a representative and was told I needed to wait for a call back over 4 hours and that there was no other way for me to get assistance. Needless to say I'm livid!

Desired outcome: I want my $34.20 added back to my account asap since the transactions were declined by this company. If you're not going to allow me to use my funds and decline transactions then you should not be deducting anything from my balance.

The same thing happen to me with USPS. I lost $304 for a money order. Did you get your money back?

SAME thing happened to me on 3/23/24 and again on 3/24/24. The customer service is terrible; they don't help much with anything its always the response there is nothing i can do you filled a complaint 1-10 business days you will hear back if it's been resolved or not. $100 was taken from me I don't work for free times are already hard as it is I need my hard-earned money. DAYFORCE is a scammer!
