my room(s)
I have been staying at Days Inn in Middleburg Heights since Thursday September 9/19 and have had to switch rooms 3 times. Day 1: room 220 neither the cable nor air work. Switch to room 224 stay over night leave and come back and the lock stops working and can't get my belongings until the next day. Today I come to my room 219 and the key card is not working once again. I go to the desk and the clerk says the room is unoccupied. Really? My bags are in this room and has been all day. I will never stay at this establishment again. Horrible experience.

Hotel lodging
Reserved a room on march of 2019 for my homecoming in Bowling Green Ohio for 9/13 and 9/15. Arrived on 9/13 at 6 pm only to find out the hotel had been shut down, I drove 3 hours to get there and was told by the clerk that they had been shut down since about 1pm. I was even notified and all the other hotels were full due to it being homecoming. Horrible way to handed business. Mike S.

1. They told me my card wouldn't be used. They needed it to reserve the room. Tuesday., they scanned my card for 1.00.? 2. When we arrived, I gave them my wife's ID and her credit card to pay for the room. They scanned her credit card for the room. I signed and was given a reciept. I checked my banking account and they charged me too. I needed my cash for our vacation. So they are telling me it will take 3-4 days for a refund.

We arrived at 2 pm with a baby yesterday. Not one other guest was here and the woman told us they couldn't let us get a room due to none being clean. At 2 pm?! When check in is at 3, ridiculous.
We then are given our keys at 3 and go to our room that is absolutely filthy. Beds were barely made and broken, broken a/c unit (no jobs), splattered juice on the walls, cords hanging out of the walls and hair still all over the shower from the previous guest. I have pictures I will include.
We wake up this morning to grab a coffee and food before our long journey home and what a surprise, nothing was set up and it is 6:15! I am standing outside the room where breakfast should be and there is no food, no coffee and the vending machine is out of order.
We spent $100 to stay here and it was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
I spoke to the woman at the front desk and she stated there was nothing she could do. I emailed and called to speak with the manager. The manager emailed me back and blamed it all on us!
the room and general and the hotel staff
Upon checking in on the 4th of September and a room that was booked by my company as I'm here on work. The receptionist told me I was upstairs and a smoking room which I kindly asked to be reassigned to a different room as I am not a smoker. She looked up my account and said because the room was booked through a third party that I could only have the room that they had me booked in. I reluctantly took my key and headed upstairs to the room, upon turning the light on in the bathroom to use the restroom I found the bathtub filled with little black bugs the door jam with bugs on it and the shower curtain. I notified the manager and the front desk who informed me that housekeeping at gone home for the day there was no one available to come and clean my room if I'd like to take a shower I needed to do it myself! As appalling as this was I headed to Safeway bought cleaning supplies and cleaned my own bathroom in order to take a shower to agree to change rims I'm supposedly booked for 4 days but will probably check out this morning and find a different Hotel this is absolutely disgusting the staff are so unprofessional including the manager! Cleaning supplies I also had to safety pin the curtains together as there was a 6 inch Gap in between where they closed

I stayed at Days Inn on 8/31/19 at your location in New Market, Va. I checked in and found previous guests food in the refrigerator and when I turned on the air conditioner all kinds of dust blew out of the vent. Front desk was notified and they did come get the trash but I did express my concern if the room was properly cleaned for new guests. After this incident I did find in the bathroom half empty shampoo bottles from the previous guest again. The next morning when I went to get the breakfast that is offered at the location the sausage was cold. I again brought it attention to the front desk person and her reply was it's pre-cooked. My response was "so the food doesn't need to be heated for the guests". I then explained to the front desk person about my experience at check in and my concerns as a guest whether or not my room was properly cleaned. The front desk person whom I spoke with was Gloria and she assured me that the manage would take care of it. Later I was told it was only going to be discounted 10% which I feel is unacceptable for the complaints that I have against Days Inn. I stayed at a Budget Inn the next night and the stay was far much better than Days Inn. I am looking forward to hearing back from a representative. People should be treated much better on vacation stays than I was at Days Inn.
charged for rooms not used
Travelling with my daughter and two grandchildren, we booked two rooms through Wyndam Rewards on 07/17/19. Upon arrival and check in there was a distinct odor in the lobby. The room assigned to my daughter and grandchildren had standing water on the floor and was not usable. She was re-assigned a room but the lock on the door was broken and she could not...

I stayed at this Days Inn on 30 August and checked out on 31 August 2019. My complaints are as follows:
1. When I made my reservation through an on-line agency, I was not informed that there were 2 Days Inn in Springfield. I arrived at the wrong location and was redirected to the correct one, which is located approximately 5.5 miles from the Interstate. In the future, one needs to be advised which Days Inn to go to. That is something the corporate office should be able to handle.
2. Customer service:
(a) The woman at the registration desk did not look at me when taking my information.
(b) She spoke to me in a soft, but imposing voice
(c) She was absolutely rude in informing me where I could smoke. Again, she did not look at me.
(d) She did not seem to believe my signature was real and had to check it with my driver's license.
During the Spring through Fall, I travel quite a bit over long distances. When I arrive at a hotel, I can only hope to be treated with a certain amount of kindness and a lot of respect. Yes, the facility was beautiful. But that's not enough. At this location I was made to feel as if I had done something wrong by asking for a first floor room and an appropriate space to smoke. Since I pass through Springfield regularly, I will make sure I do not stay at this particular Days Inn. It goes counter to the mission of public service.

So I had an incident with an friend who was trying to extort me for$60 in order to get my belongings out of a storage unit not in either of our names ... Long story short she texted telling me to come outside and get my stuff ... Her being aggressive and violent the night before lead me to tell her to just put my stuff outside or outside my room door. My company uses your hotels on a weekly basis for our employees which that will stop as of today - i came to one of your hotels in hampton va over the weekend - secured the room for friday night and saturday night. I asked for a non smoking room, got in the room and it smelled like a old ashtray, when i go to take a shower, the ceiling tiles were so full of water and so black and nasty looking i didn't even finish taking my shower! the noise on the 3rd floor was unacceptable at 2-3-4 am. The cleaning lady woke me up about 9am on saturday morning pounding on my door even though i had the sign on my door ''do not disturb'' - saturday evening i went down to customer service with some issues i wanted to speak to someone about - after standing at the window for about 5 minutes watching the clerk text message/facebook on their phone i finally knocked on the window to get their attention - the first thing they said was '' please dont tell corporate what i was doing'' - i expressed my concerns about my stay and asked about a refund and i was told 'we dont do that around here boo''
my company uses your hotels weekly - my company spends thousands of dollars weekly staying at your hotels. However, after my personal visit i will never again use your hotels for my employees. I spent 207.00 dollars on a room that looked like it could have went for 30 or 40 dollars per night. I would like a full refund from my stay. If that is not possible, i will be reaching out to the bbb and will advise all of my 72 company branches not to use your hotels ever again. I expect a email or a phone call within 24 hours of this email. The service and stay was down right horrible. I can be reached at [protected]@gmail.Com my number is [protected].
property damage at days inn hotel - newport ri
I was asked to evaluate my stay at the Days Inn in Middletown Rhode Island on July 19 thru July 21. I will need this entire letter to express my disappointment
First of all, the picture on Hotels.com, is a blatant falsehood. Actually, the blue paint is peeling. The staircase has splintered wood that makes walking hazardous. The rooms are outdated with an open closet and old décor.
We parked in the only handicapped space, which angered another guest. The elderly white gentleman yelled at two senior black women, "Go back where you came from"(Queens, New York?) He then proceeded to park in the access lane, against our car. After we complained, we are certain he was the one who keyed my sister's new car, before speeding away. We made a report with the Middletown Police Department, who were told by the manager, there might be footage on the security camera. Apparently the "camera" only focused on the office door and not the parking lot. So, guests could be assaulted and no one would be held accountable.
To add insult to injury, the room (and I use that term loosely) was $619 for two nights. Really? A total rip off, even in high season.
I will be sending this to Wyndham to ask why they would buy a substandard Travelodge, and pretend it could be a Days Inn.

cleanliness of hotel room
Hi, I am very unsatisfied with my recent stay at Days Inn Coushatta, La. The room had not been properly cleaned nor inspected, had a bad odor which the hotel staff is aware of because they have placed Glade plug ins in the wall and the telephones in the rooms do not work. The bed sheets and comforter had lots of BLOOD on them. This is a major health...

My wife and I called and made reservations several weeks prior for an early check in. We where attending a Bridal shower in the area, and it stated at 12:00 on the 17th of August. I was told to call during the week to see about availability for an early check in and did so, again I was told to call back on Friday and did so, at that time was told of an additional fee for check in and I approved it, so this is where it begins!
We arrived at 11am and checked in Saterday on the 17th, the room was filthy, the floors in the bathroom and the sink are were dirty, the water pressure was literaly non-existant, and the sheets on the bed had not been changed, just remade, there were food crumbs in the sheets, I don't even want to think what was on them pior! There were dry FECES on the toilet, disgusting!
It was obvious no supivisor or manager had ever check the quality of the room! I can only imagine what the other rooms must be like! If we had not been on such a tight schedule, I would have left! As we checked out later that afternoon, NO MANAGER OR SUPIVISOR was on the property to speak with us, so the board of health and OSHA will have to do! I spoke with several employees about the local area, and NO ONE HAD A CLUE ABOUT ANYTHING, this told me there propbably little to no information was given to them.
As a former General Manager of a major hotel chain, the lack of quality support in this hotel is obvious, needless to say I will never stay or recommend Days Inn to anyone! The board of health and OSHA need to be contacted concerning the total unsanitary condition of a room like this! I want a corporate representitive to contact us concerning this matter!

Read full review of Days Innhow our family was treated by the business.
After Hurricane Michael and our house being destroyed we had too live in a hotel (Days Inn, Panama City Beach FL) threw FEMA. We were there a couple of months and everything was going okay. I have a son whom was 6 at the time with special needs (Autism). He is non verbal and has some difficulties with every day Life. One day I went to the store to grab groceries with my husband and other 3 children and left my son with his Nana in her hotel room. When I came back I was greeted by the POLICE and hotel security saying that we had to leave. I asked them why and what was the problem. What I was told was my son had apparently gotten some poop on 1 towel and 1 sheet and that we had to leave. Which I don't understand why the police have too be called for that. I started crying and was telling them that I had nowere else to go. After a couple of minutes the security officer tells me that I can pay them a fine of $100 and then I could stay 5 more days. I pleaded with them that I lost my job due too Hurricane and did not have $100. I asked the security officer and head of maid service to show me the things that he had gotten a little poop on and they refused to show it to me. I feel that me and my family were wrongly treated by this establishment and treated cruelly especially given the circumstances of why we had to be there. My children are 7, 6, 2, and 1. And to throw us out with nowere too go and embarrass us by calling the POLICE when in my eyes no wrong was really done to that extent. I need a corporate member not the HOTEL MANAGER! to contact me ASAP
