This office is terrible
This office is terrible. I missed an appointment by accident because I was going back to work after maternity leave. I got a call in the morning and explained to the receptionist that I forgot about it. Not even 5 minutes later, the dentist herself called me and asked me to still come in. I explained again that I forgot and it's my first day back to work. I can't miss it because I haven't been paid during my time off and I had to go through training to catch up on recent changes. She got short with me and I asked her not to be rude. Then she told me to never book an appointment there again and hung up, even though she could hear my baby crying in the background. They don't understand or respect patients. They only care about money, not what's best for the patient. The dentist doesn't care about you or your feelings and argues with you about negative reviews. She never takes responsibility for her mistakes and doesn't let the patient have their own feelings. I don't recommend going there if you want to be treated kindly and respectfully.
My experience with Dentistry With TLC hasn't been good and it's costing me a lot to fix
My experience with Dentistry With TLC hasn't been good and it's costing me a lot to fix. Dr. Anna *** did 3 root canals/crowns for me and the results were bad. The first one only lasted less than 2 1/2 years before the tooth broke off and had to be taken out. The second one lasted about 1 1/2 years before it broke and had to be taken out too. The third one was done around 5 years ago and my current dentist told me that the roots weren't filled all the way, so I have to redo it with a Periodontist to save the tooth. I also need to build up the tooth structure and get a new crown because the old one kept coming off and eventually broke. Since my benefits are almost used up for the year, I'll have to pay for most of it out of my own pocket. I also wonder if the other two teeth broke off because the roots weren't filled properly, but I'll never know. Lessons learned: You can get a crown without a root canal, so only do it if you really need to because of pain or sensitivity. Get a second opinion. A root canal kills your tooth and makes it weak. If it breaks off, you either have missing teeth (like me) or you need expensive implants if you can afford them. Mistakes can happen, so if you need a root canal, make sure your dentist double checks that the roots are filled properly to avoid redoing it and paying twice.
Dr. *** has been the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with
Dr. *** has been the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. My daughter is now being punished out of spite and because of her ego. My daughter was supposed to be getting her braces off yesterday and then we would be going back today to pick up her retainer. I signed the release and filled out all the paperwork other than a survey. I was told that she would not take off her braces unless it was filled out. I told them that they didn't want me to fill it out because I would have to be honest and they would not like what I had to say. Was told I had to. So I filled it out. I wrote that Dr. *** was very rude and unprofessional. Mind you, the problem stems from the issues that my son now has as a result of going there. His jaw is messed up and had to put him back in braces with another orthodontist that has been amazing. My daughter was already more than halfway through the process and had her braces paid for when we found out what caused his problem. So we felt stuck to keep my daughter there and finish the process. A few months ago when we found what happened I, of course, wanted to talk with Dr. *** about our concerns and how to prevent an issue with my daughter, and about needing to have my son back in braces. Dr. *** was very rude and quite manipulative. She wants to twist anything that is said. Didn't want to address concerns. Yesterday she refused to take off my daughters braces because now she wants to take my complaint "serious" even though it has nothing to do with my daughter. Months ago Dr. *** didn't want to address it. Doing some research I found that August she was put on probation for 5 years. Also found there is a whole support Facebook page dedicated to people that she has screwed over. Most all the negative reviews online are related to how she is rude and unprofessional and ripping people off doing unnecessary treatments. I'm pretty sure over the years that has been happening to us as well. I'm furious with her treatment of people and still being able to run her business and continue to scam and rip people off. Mostly, I feel bad that my daughter is now having to be stuck in the middle. If you know anyone going to Dentisty with TLC tell them to be looking for a new dentist. If they haven't had issues yet, it is only a matter of time.

I got a crown put in during the summer
I got a crown put in during the summer. The crown broke and fell out when I was flossing. I reached out to Dentistry With TLC to get the crown fixed. They told me they couldn't do it because there wasn't enough tooth left to work with. They only offered to take out the rest of the tooth and put in a new one, but it would cost an extra $6000. On top of that, they wouldn't waive the $1000 bill for the faulty crown.
Dentistry with TLC told me that my insurance wouldn't pay for the $3000 bill and pushed me to buy a snoring device
Dentistry with TLC told me that my insurance wouldn't pay for the $3000 bill and pushed me to buy a snoring device. But later, I found out that insurance would cover it if diagnosed properly. I requested the office to hold off on sending my impressions to the lab so I could check if insurance would pay. They didn't want to wait and wouldn't give back my 50% deposit. They took my money, I don't have the product, and now they're charging me the remaining amount with interest. The dentist was really unprofessional, she replied to me on Facebook messenger.
