Unfair and illegal conduct of employer
I am currently employed as a driver for a transport shuttle company that has 5 vehicles and employs 3 drivers, all of us have no contract of employment, pays no uif or tax, no benefits and gets paid according to what our employer wants to pay us based on his requirements, makes deductions on our salaries without our consent and holds us liable for any accidental damage on the vehicles which he claims are all uninsured. I have a wife and 2 children to support and due to these working conditions im never able to justify my income nor make ends meet, we need this employer investigated and held accountable for exploiting us.
Desired outcome: we need employment contracts with fixed wages and uif deductions that comply with normal standards, be reimbursed for all unlawful deductions. i will gladly name and shame them once my matter is registered and to be investigated

DHL Express Contracts
01/10/2022 Contract extension. I joined DHL in May 2021 via quality connect, then the agency was discontinued. DHL gave us 1 year fixed contracts from October 2021 to end of September 2022. In our department we were 5, 3 permanent staff & 2 contractors. Because of the workload, the company added more people, two permanent staff got dismissed and there is only 1 permanent staff out of 14 people. On the 27/09/2022 we were given termination letters that stated 30/09/2022 our contracts are ending and we should handover all our work tools to management. On 02/10/202 I received a call and whatsapp text to say I should resume work on Monday 03/10/2020. On 05/10/2022 I received a short letter stating my contract has been extended until March. The dates on the letter are incorrect, management and HR was made aware, they said I should amended with a pen and sign next to the amendment. The department still has 1 permanent staff, two weeks ago they had advertised two permanent posts for our department and later retracted it. When I ask about my leave for my previous contract, I do not get a response. Is this lawful or fair? There job is there but they won't hire us, instead they extend contracts with the same remuneration.
Payment not received
I worked for a company called Duuzra Projects owned by Stephen Motoma that is still withholding my portion of my salary even after trying countless times to speak to the director to pay me.
The company owes me R1550.00 and R750 for rain network connection.
The owner made me take an internet connection service using my name and now he is not paying it. Every month the bill piles up and the provider tries to debit my account about 5 time from the 25th of each month starting from July to get their R250 charge.
The R250 has amounted to R750 as it includes the balance to be paid by September the 25th.
I have pleaded with him countless times and he keeps promising to pay but never deliver.
He is not UIF registered, He makes us work more than 45 hours per week.
Desired outcome: I would like the director of Duuzra Projects to pay me in the month of October and to pay for the outstanding Rain service fees before the 25th of October so that I can cancel the sibscription.

I then went back to go sign again on the 26th of April 2022 but I was asked to come back on the 10rh of May 2022.. Upon my return I was told to wait 7 to 10 working days and my payment will be in.. I waited a total of 14 days and went back on the 26th of May 2022 and I was told the full payment of the remaining months will be in beut till this day I have not received anything.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive My 3 month Maternity pay out as I have made debts during this time and I am struggling to recover from them
promotion without renumeration
my wife was promoted to a store manager in 2017. Prior to that she was earning R11000 as an admin clerk at a certain store. she was made verbal promises for the past 6 years but looking at her salary when she decided to resign early this
year it was only R13000.
a lot of her white colleagues that were working under her were earning way more than her. some of them even earning double to triple her salary.
i want to know if she has a way that she can report them and try to reclaim some of the money she was supposed to have been paid for the past 5 to 6 years as a store manager with the kind of responsibilities she was having.
is there a guideline to show how much a store manager for a spar or a pick n pay is supposed to earn in a month
am i wrong to feel that she was used by the shop owners for the past 6 years without proper remuneration.
Desired outcome: i want clarity
Electrical Registration card(Wireman's license)
I am waiting 8 months now for my registration card from the department of labour head office Pretoria. When you try to phone them there is no answer. I try to phone them 5 times a day different times during the day between 08h00 to 16h00. They list 3 phone numbers that you can contact,Tel: [protected]/4378/4343 Its like nobody is working there. Even emailing them gets you nowhere. Finally I did receive an email from them two months back and i was told my car is ready and will be posted to me. I am still waiting, I even phoned the post office and they have no record of such. I am situated in cape town and it will cost a lot to physically go there. Very poor service from this big department!
The company i work for doesn't want to pay my salary .
I request to be advised on the matter of a company I am currently employed by.
The name of the company is TFBrokers based in Johannesburg. they have not paid my salary for June 2022. We are aware of the option of liquidation. The company says they can not pay our salaries but they're not closing either. instead they are interviewing new people to replace us.
This Morning. we had a meeting where he confirmed he will not pay us but if we want to leave we can resign. how do i deal with this legally?
Desired outcome: i would to be compensated with my 3 months Salary and the Retirement annuity that the company pays for me.The Company must give a U19 to go claim my UIF
Payment not received
I have applied for my maternity benefits online in March 2022. All my paperwork was submitted and when I made contact with an agent, they informed me that everything was in order.
I then called a week later doing a follow up and the guy that assisted me said he would forward it onto the assessor with high importance as the previous agent that accepted hasn't done it.
Every time I called, I was told that its with the assessor, with this having been said all the previous agents informed me that it will take up to 6 weeks to payout.
After several follow ups, someone then advised me that my paperwork was incorrect and I had to get new documents completed, mind you that the previous agents said it was correct.
I have then completed and sent it off. To date I have not received a cent.
This whole back and forth playing Mickey mouse is pathetic. I've lost count of how many times I have already called. I've given up on the assistance received. It's ridiculous.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a favorable response.
Uif Call Centre
Since March I registered a company on ufiling. When i try to enter the profile I get an error UFL 1020.
When I called the call centre for help as they ask us to do this service online we dont get any help. They say to send emails but none responded to .
UIF applications
On the 21 April 2022 I registered on the Department of Labour website for UIF filling. I could not login as I failed the vetting process because the name of my previous employer was in Afrikaans and could not recognize it.
On the 26 April 2022 I called the call centre and explained what my issue was and I was told that I should submit my ID and I did. This is my case number: Ticket Reference Number: C-[protected]-002359 | Case Issue: Failed vetting on Registration.
On the 28 April 2022 I called again to check progress on the matter. I was told that the matter has been escalated and that my issue would be resolved and I would be able to login again within 7 working days.
I called again on the 11 May 2022 because the matter had not been resolved. I was told that the matter would be solved by close of business that day. I tried to login again on at 16h30 but I was unable to.
I called again on the 13 May 2022 because the matter had not been resolved. I was told that the matter would be solved by close of business that day. I tried to login again on at 16h30 but I was unable to.
Then on the 17 May 2022 I went to the UIF offices in Cape Town( Westbank Building, Riebeeck Street&Long Street) to get matter sorted and do a manual application. I was told that UIF does not do manual application and that my issue can only be sorted at Head Office.
On that same day I called the Head Office and I was told the matter has been escalated and that my issue would be sorted at the end of close of business. I tried to login on the 18 May 2022 and I was still unable to login.
Today, the 25 May 2022, I called I again and I was to told that the matter has been escalated. When I asked how long this would take, the call centre agent said she does not know and that it could take weeks, months or even years.

Desired outcome: Unblock my profile so I can apply for UIF and receive my money.
Department of Labour-U Filing
I was retrenched in November 2020 and applied for benefits via the U- filing platform in January 2021. After numerous follow ups in April 2021 I was then advised that I needed to resubmit 2 documents, which I did. Again monthly and weekly calls and I was advised that all my documents are in order and I need to wait for approval. 6 months later kn a follow up call I was then told there was an issue with my employment dates and I needed to contact my previous Employer for a letter, this I did and submitted accordingly. In November 2021 I called the call centre to follow up and again was told that everything is in order and I Just need to wait for the Assessor. On the 6th of January 2022 I call the call centre again and this time, I am told that my UI 19 document is incorrect, a year later this is discovered! I contact my previous Employer and obtain another UI19 document and submit via email as instructed. Weekly calls to the call centre (as an agent told me that this will ensure that my application will get sorted with follow up's and I was told best not to visit a labour centre or the process will have to start all over again! what a joke! )
Again, more calls and emails and I am told the same thing, I will escalate to my supervisor, your documents are with the Assessor, you should get feedback withing 14 days, all your documents are in order and received...
Now May 2022, I just got off a call with an agent and I am told they are still trying to close the months on my Salary schedule! What!?! 16 months later and my case is nowhere near being approved? I am still unemployed and still fighting for my unemployment benefits, I am rightfully entitled to.
This has been such a painful process, no income coming in and still I need to fight this battle. Why are you making this processes so difficult for me? I contributed to the UIF diligently all these years!
Treat this as a sense of urgency PLEASE and Resolve this matter once and for all.
Kind regards
Nishaat

Generator installed next to Owner's Boundary Wall by HOA in Estate Complex. Carbon Monoxide inside house
Good Morning,
I am a Resident in the Ruimsig Country Estate on the West rand.
The HOA of the Estate installed a Diesel Generator next to my Boundary Wall of my property.
The other unlawful structures erected on my Boundary Wall will be addressed by the Inspector.
He just contacted me now at 8:57 AM on 2022/05/06.
The Carbon Monoxide is accessing my House on the Inside where we sleep at night.
With all the Blackouts the Carbon Monoxide is worsening by the day.
I have to sit outside my Property when the Generator of the HOA ignites during a Blackout.
Please give me guidance or a Contact Person in this regard.
I have engaged a Building Inspector at Mogale Municipality but to no avail.
This Morning I was Contacted by a Senior Individual of the Mogale Municipality who arranged for their Inspector to investigate the matter at my Property today.
Your support would be appreciated in this regard.
I prompted the Estate Manager this morning once again to remove the generator next to my Boundary Wall on the pavement area as well as on previous occasions.
I copied a Family member on WhatsApp in case the Carbon Monoxide causes a fatal incident inside my house.
This is a very dangerous situation as Carbon Monoxide "Kills".
Best regards
