It's been over 4 months and my card still ain't arrived
It's been over 4 months and my card still ain't arrived. Their customer service is like a total joke. They come up with a new excuse every time I give 'em a ring. It's all a bunch of BS.
Horrible credit card company with bad ethical practice
Horrible credit card company with bad ethical practice. They'll literally close your card at anytime without any reasons! Be warned before you open a card with them!
Deserve is a really bad credit card company with sketchy and illegal practices
Deserve is a really bad credit card company with sketchy and illegal practices. They can just randomly close your card account without giving any reasons, and their customer support is a complete joke. I'm telling you, be careful!
I got an email to get a credit card with my fav college logo
I got an email to get a credit card with my fav college logo. After giving all the usual credit card info, ssn, name, address, birth date, income, ect, they asked for my bank credentials. Seems like a scam to me. Now I'm worried all my personal data is available for a scammer. If you get an email from Deserve credit cards, ignore or delete it.
Absolutely terrible!
Absolutely terrible! Deserve is a complete disaster of a business. It's unbelievable how they can be so bad at what they do. It's just great when they move to a different state and forget to inform their customers! And of course, my payments get delayed because of it. How wonderful. They move from California to Illinois and don't even bother updating their address on the ComplaintsBoard.com. It's just amazing, isn't it? It really brightens up my day to wait for a whole hour on hold, only to be treated rudely by their customer service representatives. They really excel in being unhelpful! Honestly, I strongly advise you to stay away from this company. Their behavior is almost like a scam, and I wouldn't wish the headache I've had dealing with them on anyone. This was my first credit card ever, and this experience has made me regret ever getting one. Stay away!
I helped my daughter get this card for her first credit card, starting college
I helped my daughter get this card for her first credit card, starting college. The application process was a nightmare. We followed all the instructions, and then they asked for a copy of her student ID card. She only had a digital copy, as she hadn't started school yet. We went back and forth with them for weeks, playing phone tag, unable to reach anyone who would answer the phone. Hours wasted, I finally sent an email expressing my frustrations. A supervisor called and said the digital copy would be fine. So she submitted it again and a week later her whole application was denied because of the lack of student ID (which she had sent successfully multiple times). Total waste of time, we will be going somewhere else and never doing business with Deserve again.
If I could give negative stars, I would
If I could give negative stars, I would. After a hard credit check on my report, a look into my bank statement, proof of ID, and proof of address to open my account, they sent me a credit card with a wrong first name of *** - not ***. I called to fix this, and they told me to resubmit my information and wait another 30 days, then call back with a DIFFERENT WRONG NAME - "Hi ***". They wouldn't fix their mistake and gave me a hard time, making me do all the work to correct their error, which never got fixed. But when I said you can't even get my name right, I want to close my account - I don't trust you with my money. They asked me why! They closed my account right away. I didn't have to wait 30 days for that. In my opinion, this company targets young college students. Imagine if I had financial errors that I needed them to fix? This company really shouldn't be in business, handling people's sensitive information.

This credit card company is trash
This credit card company is trash. They denied me because of my limited credit experience, even though I've had the same credit card for two years and made all my payments on time. Don't bother applying unless you want to be discriminated against based on your race.
I applied for a krowfit Mastercard
I applied for a krowfit Mastercard. I took a selfie and uploaded my ID. The application got approved, but then I received a strange message saying that my application is on hold for unknown reasons. I haven't received any answer regarding my credit card application that I submitted on August 16th, 2022.
I used to have an account with M1, but they closed it because they couldn't verify who I am
I used to have an account with M1, but they closed it because they couldn't verify who I am. I gave them my ID and social security card, but they still closed my account on [protected]. Now, I can't see my transactions, and the bank charged me almost $900. I never even used this card! I asked them to open a dispute, but they said no and wanted me to pay the balance. I want this credit card removed from my credit report because I never used it.

I applied for a credit card with Deserve in August
I applied for a credit card with Deserve in August. I got the card but couldn't activate it. I called to find out why, and they said my account was being reviewed, which I didn't get. I have good credit and gave them all the right info. I've called many times, and they keep saying the same thing. It's still under review. This company is confusing and causing problems. It's been almost 5 months, and there's no progress. They checked my credit and added the account, but it's still under review.
I asked Deserve to close my credit card in Feb 2021, and they told me the account has been closed
I asked Deserve to close my credit card in Feb 2021, and they told me the account has been closed. But now, I found out from my credit report that the Deserve credit card account is still open. I can see that I have $2500 credit available. I tried logging into the Deserve account, and I can still log in. I called Deserve today (Aug 04, 2022) and told them about this problem. They again claim that this account has been closed, and they said I can still see the account because they keep the account information for 24 months for privacy reasons. I have closed another credit card before, and it showed up as closed properly. The credit report is from a Chase credit card powered by Experian.
My deserve credit card has been on hold for the back office to review for almost a month now
My deserve credit card has been on hold for the back office to review for almost a month now. The hold is because I tried making an online transaction that deserve doesn't allow. I didn't know deserve doesn't allow transactions like crypto. It was an honest mistake and now that I know, I won't use this card for those transactions. But I'm not happy with how long the back office takes to review and fix the hold on my credit card. I've tried contacting them about 10 times for updates but haven't gotten any info. I've been a loyal cardholder for almost 2 years and I'm really disappointed in how I was treated. I just want this issue resolved ASAP. Credit card ending in:
I had a Deserve card for 2 years, always made payments on time, never late
I had a Deserve card for 2 years, always made payments on time, never late. But Deserve closed my card because I filed a fraud claim. I was okay with the card being closed, but now they're billing me a $1 service fee after 7 months of the card being closed, and it's really annoying. I don't understand why I should pay a fee if my card is closed and my balance is 0. I've contacted customer support multiple times, and they keep telling me I have to pay the $1 fee every month. What's the point? Last time I called, I asked for a supervisor. They called me back 3 days later and said they would take care of the issue. But 10 days later, I received another notice saying I owe $1 for December. In December, they added $1 for missed payments, making it a total of $5. The supervisor gave me credit for that, but I'm still being charged a $1 fee for a closed card. This whole experience with this card has been awful. First, they closed it for no reason, and now I'm getting billed a fee for a closed card with a 0 balance.
I applied for the Deserve credit card on 11/14
I applied for the Deserve credit card on 11/14. It's supposed to be helpful for building credit, especially for students like me who attend university. However, I received an email saying they couldn't check my credit because of a security freeze on 11/15. So, I unfroze my credit report with Experian to let them check it. But here's the thing, my credit report shows a score of 661 as of November 15. The score ranges from 300 to 850. It also mentions some factors that negatively affected my score, like serious delinquency, public record or collection filed, number of delinquent accounts, length of time accounts have been established, and proportion of current loan balance to original loan amount. I want them to remove that inquiry from my credit report because it's bringing my score down even more. I don't think it's fair.
I applied for a credit card with Deserve on October 11 and on March 18
I applied for a credit card with Deserve on October 11 and on March 18. I was denied both times for "Unable to verify your identity." I mailed documents to Deserve to verify my identity. The documents included my pay stub, employee ID, driver's license, and bank statements. I never received correspondence from Deserve whether or not my documents were received. I was my application from March 18 to be approved. I do not have bad credit. There are no delinquencies or any negative information on any of my credit reports. If Deserve cannot approve me then please delete the credit inquiries that were done on me with *** on October 11 and March 18. This is a copy of the letter I had mailed to Deserve. I feel as though no matter how many times I apply, I will always get denied. *** Saturday, March 21 To Whom It May Concern: I am kindly asking for your assistance and would greatly appreciate it at your earliest convenience. I am a teacher and a graduate student. I applied for a Deserve credit card on March 19 using your web site. A credit check with *** was done on me. I was denied for the reason, “Unable to verify your identify.” On October , I had applied for the Deserve credit card and was denied for the same reason. I am very frustrated. I have attached my bank statements, W-2, company identification cards, and driver’s license to help verify my identity. Please confirm if additional documents are needed to help verify my identity. Please approve my application. I have no negative information on my credit reports and am a responsible borrower. Please feel free to call me if you have additional questions. If possible, please call or email me to confirm that this correspondence was received by Deserve (***). Thank you
This complaint is about the Bitcoin Credit Card and the difficult process to dispute a scam purchase.
This complaint is about the Bitcoin Credit Card, and the difficult process to dispute a scam purchase. I made a $240.11 purchase on Etsy for a custom neon sign. The sign was defective, and the Etsy seller agreed to replace it. However, the replacement was also broken on arrival. The seller then vanished, leaving me with faulty items. I opened a dispute with my credit card company to recover my funds as the seller was uncooperative. The only way to file disputes is by phone, yet the disputes department is unreachable as they lack a direct line. My dispute was outright denied, and it was a challenge to find out why. They instructed me to ship the defective 4-foot neon signs to a nearby location to get a refund and resolve the dispute in my favor. If I don't comply, the dispute favors the merchant. Shipping these signs could cost $50-100, which is unfair since I'm not responsible for the defect. I tried contacting the designated drop-off location to avoid shipping fees, but received no response. I'm at a loss; I was scammed on an Etsy purchase and it seems no one is willing to assist the affected consumer. The Deserve dispute team only communicates via email, and getting a reply feels impossible. I refuse to pay for this purchase. I've attached images showing the defects as evidence.
