The guy Dion B who sold us the door was really nice and he took his time to explain all the options to us. But they told us we would get the door in 4-6 weeks. It's been like 3 months now and still no door and no one has bothered to check up on us. The customer service is not good at all.

Instead, use a credit card or Paypal so you can get your money back if they don't deliver. It's better to find a trustworthy source elsewhere to avoid this kind of hassle.

I ordered a door like 2 months ago. They took money from my checking account. I called like 4 times. It's July now and still no door. They always say it's coming on the next shipment when I call. So unprofessional, no follow-up. They use some answering service to dodge calls. I bet I'm not the only one calling. I orderd a storm door on May 30th. They never put it in and I still don't have my money back. They said they would give me a refund, but it hasn't happened yet. I ordered it on May 30th. The door was supposed to be installed on September 20th, but because of covid, it didn't happen. On the 19th, they told me the door was made wrong and they couldn't get a new one. They said they would give me a refund, but it still hasn't happened. They took 1 minute to charge my card, so it should only take 1 night to give me my money back. I only talked to the company if I called twice in a day for an update, and then they gave me all the excuses. Maybe some of them were real, but every week they said it would be on the truck the next week. I have receipts and phone logs.

The business tried to fix the problem: No, not answering phone after many tries. In April, a person from the company came to my house and gave me a price for the storm door. I paid half upfront. They said it would take around 30 days. Since April, the person hasn't answered the phone, which is on the flyer. I called the main number, but it's a different company that passes the message to Design Customer Doors. The company itself called back a few times with different excuses. Now they're not returning my calls and I'm starting to wonder if this is a real business. Right now, I just want my money back and to be done with this "company".

I ordered my door and they said it would take 4 weeks, but it actually took over 12 weeks. During this time, after I paid, they said they forgot to place the order. I had to call them every week to get them to install the door. They installed it wrong. I asked them for 2 months to fix it, but they never came. So, I asked them to take the door back and give me a refund. They called me and yelled at me, saying there was no way I would get a refund. They said I should consider myself lucky if they came back to fix the door. Weeks later, they finally came, but only to tell me it was the builder's fault and that the builder should pay them to fix the door. Eventually, my door completely fell off and I told them about it. They told me to contact my builder because it wasn't their fault. When I filed a claim with my bank, they came to my house twice to try and scare me and tell me to cancel the claim. I would not recommend their services to anyone, not even my worst enemy!

I asked them to call me back two weeks later for the second payment, but I never received a call. In July, I called again and the person I spoke to said someone would call me back, but that never happened. Today, on August 21st, I called once more and was transferred to Patty. However, Patty informed me that she couldn't accept payment and promised that someone from the payment department would call me back. I expressed my frustration, explaining that I had already been through this process and found it unacceptable. I asked if they were available and if she could transfer me, but she said no. At this point, I had only two options: 1) cancel the contract or 2) make the payment. Patty's response was dismissive, saying "oh well." This prompted me to request a manager or supervisor. Shockingly, Patty called me a derogatory term and abruptly ended the call.
I immediately called back, but my calls were repeatedly hung up on until Jessica finally answered. Unfortunately, Jessica could only leave a message and couldn't provide any further assistance. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and I demand a refund. This level of service is completely unacceptable!

My screen looks like it got spray paint on it from the factory, and my door has shifted due to the cold weather. I called them five times for each issue, but they promised to call me back and never did. It was only when I threatened to call the ComplaintsBoard.com that I got a response. The service technician came to fix our door, but it ended up worse than before. He was the one who installed it, so I don't understand why he couldn't fix it, even if he had to reinstall it from scratch. He said he would need to put in a different handle, but I don't want anything different. I just want it adjusted so it closes and opens properly. I've been texting the service tech, and he mentioned that he doesn't get paid for doing service or warranty work. He is contracted by the company, which is probably why it's so hard to get him here. I wouldn't want to spend time and gas on a customer of a company that doesn't pay me. This is a terrible way to treat someone who works for you. Unless the initial installation was bad, they should pay for the service. The service tech didn't spray paint my screen or cause the weather to move my door frame. From what I can gather, there is only one salesman who owns the company. He pays for an answering service to handle calls and contacts his installer for installations. That's probably why there is a lack of response and help, because there aren't enough people to assist.

I bought a door on 07/23 from Design Custom Storm Doors. It was supposed to come with a kick plate, but I still haven't received it. I've tried calling them multiple times, but no one has returned my calls. On 07/23, I bought a storm door for $671.25 from Dion. The door was supposed to have a matching door handle and kick plate. I paid half of the total amount that day, and the rest was due on the day of installation. On 09/25, Joe came to my house to install the door and I made the final payment. However, the door was missing the kick plate and Joe claimed he didn't know anything about it. He told me to text him the following Monday instead of calling the office because it would be faster. I texted him on 09/28 at 11:16 am and got a confirmation back just 1 minute later. After waiting for 2 months and still not receiving the kick plate, I called the office on 11/25 and left my name and contact info with the lady who answered. I waited a week, but didn't hear back from anyone, so I called again on 12/02. This call was shorter because the lady was able to say my name to me, confirming that my info was recorded correctly. Another 2 weeks went by and I still didn't hear anything. I called a third time on 12/14 and had to provide my name and contact info again. Each time I asked if I could speak directly to the person they were forwarding my info to, but they said it wasn't possible. So far, I haven't heard back from anyone at the company and I still don't have a complete storm door, even though I paid in full. I've attached screenshots of the text exchange between Joe and me.
