15 September 2009, I purchased medication for my son, prescribed by his doctor, I visited Dischem at Westwood Mall to get the medication...On receiving the medication I asked the pharmacist gave me tablets. I Asked him if there is a paed syrup available as my son is 3 and he has not taken a tablet before, he so called checked and replied NO...I asked again as this course of antibo was for 10 days, he still replied no...I have paid R450 cash for this medication and now my son can not take it, I have tried many different ways to give him, I call Dischem and all they could reply was they can not change the tablets and I have to get another script although I have used 4 tablets and have a course of 10 days, I have used only 1 card from the 2 give to me, now I have to go back to the doctor to get another script because of the misinformation give to me by Dischem pharmist. Is this what service to the customer is about, I have been to other pharmacies who are much more accomodating and well informed of what is available...
I am having a similar experience with Dan that is going to court. I would love your help!

Last week i bought a nail blower from dischem in kimberley. First of all i asked for a nail uv light for my girl and not a blower. I drove 150km just to buy this and still when i got home it was the wrong item. Now this weekend we tried to get a refund at dischem in klerksdorp and guess what? Eish sorry but we only give you a voucher and not your money back. What must i do with the voucher. I already bought a uv light elsewhere against a fraction of the proce that they ask for a uv light that i was suppose to get in the first place. Dischem's service is poor and have no intension of looking at there customer service. Stephan Le Roux. stephan@hartswater.com or [protected]
I am 38weeks pregnant and my doctor prescribed Senokot tablets for constipation. I went to Heidleburg Dis-Chem to buy them. As directed, I drank two on bedtime and the next day I drank two again. Then I read the package only to find out that the tablets had expired a month ago, I am now distressed about my unborn child
Lol
It would appear that the service at the Dischem Pharmacies is all the same.
What concern me most is that Management seem to accept the sub- standard of service.
They are constantly out of stock and the answer is that the supplier do not have stock,
however if I go to Clicks or other Pharmacies they have it in stock which tells me something is
wrong at Dischem.
