I am a customer of DIsh TV & have been going through the most PATHETIC customer service that I have ever come across, your company is a bunch of cheaters who just know how to take money from their customers & not provide them with any service at all.
I bought a new multi-connection from you on Feb 22nd on my second TV that I bought that is not working at all, you are charging me for a service that you are not providing at all.I need a refund of the money that I paid to you on 22nd Feb as your engineers who visited my house are not able to resolve the issue that has been ongoing from the point I bought this new connection.
I will be taking this to the consumer court to raise my grievances and how Dish TV tortures their customer's and makes money out of them & looking out for all ways to take it to social media as well.
When I bought this connection I was told and made a lot of promises that I will get a great service and a good experience if I take the 2nd multi connection but now nobody in your company is willing to help me.
Most of the Channels (Example Channel 403, 462 etc) are not coming clear on my brand new SONY Bravia and there is a lot of overwriting on all the Channel Logos & writings on the channel due to which the picture quality and clarity is extremely poor.I was told by the first engineer who visited my house that I need to call the customer care and get a complaint registered to get a new Set up box installed to resolve this picture issue.
I called on 24th Feb at 7:20 pm & Spoke to Sandeep who logged a complaint ([protected]) & he went through with me a lot of troubleshooting which did not help at all.This call lasted for about 15 minutes and ended at 7:35.Prior to this call I called on a couple of occasions already and my call was disconnected by your call center agents.
Today Technician Lalit Chauhan & Abhishek Shukla came over & without even probing the issue or troubleshooting that this a my TV issue as it's screen size is big & this has got nothing to do with Dish TV.He came at 11:30 am and left at 12:45 pm & just wasted my time & effort.He changed the set up Box & that made no difference to the issue, channels were still coming unclear & with dubbing or over-writing.When he changes the set up box he was't willing to get it enabled to do the testing & T/S & after numerous request we got the set up box enabled as earlier it was't displaying any channels at all we just could not have identified the comparisons in channel viewing in both the set up boxes.
He said this issue cannot be resolved as it is a TV issue because the LED screen size is 55 inches it wont be clear.I asked him to plug my existing old TV which is 32 inches and show me if it would be resolved by plugging in a smaller size TV but he did not do that at all.
After wasting my time again I had to call the call center & I then spoke to Soimoi at 12:03 pm & after explaining the issue for 4 minutes my call was dropped yet again.
Then I called up again at 12:08 pm and spoke to Debjani & this call dropped as well at 12:30 after I was put on hold for about 10 minutes.
This is the worst of experiences that I could ever imagine & I need all my open concerns to be properly addressed & fully resolved to my satisfaction.
Also I need a refund of the connection money as well as recharge amount that I have paid to Dish TV.

I am a existing customer of Dish TV & have 2 connections i.e.
VC No- [protected] at Noida & VC No- [protected] at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. On Jan '16 I have taken another connection at my parents place (in Bhubaneswar, Odisha) with VC No-[protected] which was told to me as a multi connection to the existing connection VC No- [protected]. Also Dish TV have confirmed me that for the new connection I only need to pay Rs.250/- as it will be a child connection. But now in Feb '16 I received 2 separate bills for the two connections & after I call to CCare the told me that both [protected] & [protected] are separate connections and multi connection can not be done.
Now What I face is a ditch from Dish TV, as they are hiding the truth and selling the product on basis of Lies.

fraud from dish tv cust serv dept
Hi,
I have been trying to resolve an issue with dish tv. Please see below detail description of my problem:
Last month in august i got a call from dish tv cust serv dept and a lady said that under some special offer i have been entitled for free hd channels for 1 month. I will not have to pay anything for the first month but if i like the experience i could continue the pack from next month onward by paying the hd channels subscription every month.
Then in sep which is this month i get a message from dish tv stating that my recharge date is 15th sep this month and i will have to pay for hd channel package. Where as in august i had recharged my account on around 28th sep'15. So my next recharge date came in less than a month, in just 15-20 days.
So i called up dish customer service and spoke to shalini and she said that since you had asked for hd channels so from you current package cost the money was deducted for hd channels and that is the reason the recharge date has moved ahead. I then told her that this is all fraud because the lady who had called me said that hd channels were free for first month and if i liked the experience i could continue from next month onwards and i demanded a refund of my amount which is around rs. 220. She said that she could not process the refund and she can only move me back to original sports pack. I said to her it is not my fault so why should i pay the amount. She said she could not do anything and transferred my call to her supervisor. I was put on hold then a guy answered the other line and he said "hello" and the hung up on me.
These are just tricks that cust serv dept follows for not have to face the customer or when they do not have a possible resolution. I have been a loyal customer to dish for more than 5 years but now they are cheating old customer like me.
This is a total scam on behalf of dish tv and they do not even monitor calls of their agent who are calling customers and misleading them just for a sale. I also have worked in cust serv dept and i know that every call an agent takes is recorded.
My vc# [protected] and i demand dish tv to credit back my rs. 220 or give me a possible solution to my problem in the next 48 hrs or else i will post this complain on all over the websites, forums and all the compliant center that not to opt for dish tv as they have come down to fraud with their own clients and i will also change my service provider to somebody else from this month onwards only.

I've been their customer for last 5 years. I had no problem until I exchanged my SD box to HD. Dishtv lacks big time in customer care services. First off, they lifted up their toll free service and in order to communicate you have to text them.
Issue 1:
I exchanged my SD with HD by paying 600 rs extra. Within 3 months it's remote stopped working and when I told about this to one of the executives she wasn't actually listening to the problem I've been having and just told me to follow some steps. Though, I knew it's of no use I followed those instructions she told me to as I had no option left. When nothing happened she said to try it two three times, it will solve your problem and if in case it doesn't, you'll get a new remote. I contacted them again, and this time a new customer care executive informed me that the HD box has a warranty of 6 months while remote has a warranty of 1 month only. Ultimately I paid rs 300 plus tax for new remote.
Issue 2:
In rainy season, it's normal to not be able to see some channels for few hours. But I wasn't getting any HD services from last couple of weeks so I contacted dish TV. I texted "CALL ME" to 57575. And in few minutes I got a call from their side, I described my problem to the person, he told me to switch off the box from main and the turn on. While I was doing the same, the box took little time in reboot and in between this the person on the other side hung up the call. As if it wasn't rude enough, I texted them twice that day and didn't get a call.
After three days I contacted again, the guy told me that there is a need to re-adjust the antenna and it'll cost rs 150 plus tax. When I asked him to downgrade my pack to SD he told my that you have to pay money to downgrade as well. How their policies could be like this. They gave me HD box at 599+remote I again had to buy in just 3 months+150 plus tax to readjust the antenna. I've been a supporter of privatization but this monopoly makes me rethink about it.

My dish TV connection Number is [protected] which was converted to HD about last year. I stay in Navi Mumbai. I package is Premeium HD package with Ala-carte.I have been having poor reception and not able to view HD as well as many other channels though my pack is Primeum HD pack. I am hardly able to view few regioanl cahnnels & news channels may be 30-40. Not been able to view more than 100 channels since sunday 21st June. I have lodged complaint with your call centre and also sent mail on your web site repeatedly. I am told that no service technician can be arranged by Dish TV as this area is cable warrant area. they had asked me to talk to some person directly in Airoli and company is helpless is providing service. I am aware of this Airoli person who had earlier visited the place and behaved indecently and advised me to disconnect Dish TV since I am not happy. I suspect he works for a cable company and trying to damage your image. I had spoken to Mr. rahul, Mr Amit Kumar, Mr. Dabashish of your call centre who had advised the same asking me to call the Airoli person as Dish TV cannot help for any service. I had also talked to your Escalation executive Mr Pankaj in Mumbai office, who also told me the safety of Dish TV technician is important and I must pick up technician from their office and drop him back in my car. It is strange for a consumer appliance company to talk like this and bringing down the image of Dish TV. I had sent a mail today evening to Mr Vithal Pawar, who I understand is Nodal Officer for Mumbai. All your people want me to take responsibility and safety of your service technician who may come at my request. No where in the world I heard that asking a consumer to take safety responsibility of service technician of the company.
I asked Mr debashish from call centre if the Airoli person deny to service, what happens to my Dish TV connnection. He replies he is helpless. When I told him that I had sent mails to Mr Pawar, he is stoic.
I hope you will look into the matter and ensure consumer satisfaction as claimed by by Dish TV. Else I request you to return the cost of HD set top box, so that I can go to other service provider.

This company is always cheating me. At the date of activation my conection. And always gives me fack commitment. They give me offer that recharge for 2 month get 14 days extra on your pack. I recharge it but not get offer benifit. I call them then they said we will refund your one month recharge fees. But still i not get money back. And today i call to customer care. They are saying me that we had transfer your money back. I check my acoount statement. No fund is credit in my account... They are froud only froud.

8. that at last, one executive rang to inform that it is deactivated as payment made was for one month connection of rs. 2000 / - merely.
9. that our client had also sent bill showing the payment of rs. 4999 / - and scheme purchased by her by mail.
10. that executive admitted that the merchant is dealer/agent of dish tv and promised to respond within 10 minutes but never called back.
11. that all efforts of our client have gone in vain and dish tv has not activated the services.
12. that our client has been apparently made victim of unfair trade practices, cyber fraud and cheating under sec 420 ipc.
13. that the company is vicariously liable for acts and omissions of its agents.
14. that the scheme is still being sold on behalf of the dish tv at shopclues at lower rates of rs. 4799 / - and apparently with the consent and acquiescence of your company.
15. that dish tv has not made any efforts to stop the sale on the site which is prima facie proof of dish tv’s consent and acquiescence.
16. that on certain websites, ms. preeti kundu is shown as executive of dish tv.
17. that our client and her family have undergone mental & physical agony and suffered financial losses as well on account of the said cheating committed by the company and its agents.
18. that the commissions & omissions of the company constitute unfair trade practices and also qualify the ingredients of the offence of cheating under indian penal code and cyber crimes well.

Dear Sir
My customer voucher no. is [protected] and using since long time.
Instead of several mail and SMS nothing is going right with us.
1. You have change pack position without any information
2. I have request for 106 sub on 3 nov 14 this was activated with charge of Rs 5
3 I have requested earlier and today for sony channel 105
4. I did desired SMS as DISH TV ADD 105 three times today mobile reports message delivered.
5 First time receive message from your network "" this service is temporarily unavailable, second time server is busy please try after some time, third time again received same message
6. After 12 minutes received "" Thank you for subscribing DRAMEBAAZ pack. it will be activated on your dish TV in 15 minutes and Rs. 50 will be deducted from your a/c every month?
this service DRAMEBAZ PACK I have never requested what is wrong with us this was only SMS for 105 sony. ?
Please tell me who is right person where I could solve my problem, otherwise rethink twice to other means. Every thing available in electronic means.
Do need full and inform accordingly.

I have been unable to contact you guys for the past three days... none of the helpline numbers are responding and I am forever "waiting for the customer service representative to come online"... My self aravinda h p using the dish tv vc no : [protected] & rmn : [protected] I have purchased the dish tv connection on march 2014 & the dealer told me he is giving the two months south family pack as offer it got end on switch off date :05-04-2014.
I have recharged my account with 499rs (south titanium pack) on 08-05-2014 but still vc has not updated & I cant able to view any channels it is showing the status as deactivated please do the need full asap, I have attaching the recharge details & soa summary for your reference below.
