Mixed Experiences with Disney Store Inc
As an expert in the category of Disney Store Inc., I've observed a range of customer experiences. Issues such as delayed deliveries, damaged items, and poor customer service have been highlighted. It's important for potential customers to be aware of these mixed reviews before making a purchase. Despite some positive feedback, it's advisable to proceed with caution and manage expectations when engaging with Disney Store Inc.

Good quality Disney collectables, action figures of Disney characters. Got good deal with discounted price.
A bit expensive
The prices here are a bit over the top, i don't usually shop here but it's worth having a look at. Once got a gift for my niece and she truly happy, the quality of items is good.
Disney online Guest Services

I actually order all the time from Disney yes some prices can be pricey but what do you expect with good quality stuff shipping is usually great and fast a lot of times Disney has discounts for orders highly recommend! If you cant find it on the site then try the Disney Park app everything is there!
No problems at all
I read all the bad reviews on here and was worried. But everything was fine. Received the entire order in about a week. Everything was just as advertised. I had no problems at all. I was however only allowed to use my disney rewards card and a credit card. Could not also use the disney gift card I had... but that is okay.
Refund
Frankly speaking i would rather buy from Disney store, at least I know, I would buy a real one,
I had an xcellent service from them so far. Order arrived as what they says it will.
This time of course my order has not arrived. But it was not there fault. It was Hermes fault, because probably the Hermes driver Connot be bothered to deliver my item.
The Disney store quickly reply my email.and refund my money without me asking for it yet.
I would recommend to shop at Disney store.
Disney Store's Payment System is Shady! - A Warning to Customers
So, my mom wanted to buy these really cool bands from The Disney Store for my granddad, who has been very sick. She tried to order them online five times, but for some reason, her card kept getting declined even though all the information was correct. But that didn't stop Disney from taking money from her account each time she tried to order! What the heck, Disney? You'd think if the order didn't go through, they wouldn't take your money!
Anyway, my mom finally had to call customer service to place the order and it went through. But then a few days later, she got a message saying she had gone over her overdraft by over a thousand bucks! What the heck, Disney, part two! My mom called customer service again to try and fix the issue, but the person she talked to was unhelpful and wouldn't even send her an email confirming there was a problem.
Finally, a week later, my mom was able to get a refund, but it shouldn't have been that hard! And it's been over a week and she still hasn't gotten her money back. Come on, Disney, get it together! Especially since you're supposed to be a family-oriented company!
To make matters worse, my mom was charged over a thousand bucks when the original order was only for 168 bucks! What the heck, Disney, part three! And it turns out it wasn't even possible for her to order the bands six times, but she was charged for orders that will never be dispatched. Ugh, so disappointing and disgusting.
Disney Store Online: Fraudulent Charges, Non-Responsive Customer Service, and Regrettable Purchases
So, let me tell you about my experience with the Disney Store (disneystore.com). I ordered a total of 5 items online and after taxes and a pretty steep shipping fee of $9.95, my order came out to $68.76. Luckily, I had a $75 Disney rewards card to use towards my purchase. However, I did have to provide a credit card just in case my total went over my rewards card amount.
A few days after placing my order, I received an email saying that my delivery was going to be delayed due to snow in Minnesota. Hey, it happens, so I didn't mind waiting an extra week. When my order finally arrived on the date they stated, I even got an email notifying me that my package had been delivered. I was feeling pretty good about my purchase until I looked at my bank statement and saw that I was charged $33.87. What the heck?!
I tried emailing the Disney Store customer service, with no luck. I even tried calling, but I was stuck on hold for what felt like an eternity. Finally, I decided to go to the bank to see if they could help me. After some time on hold, my bank rep managed to get a customer service rep from the Disney Store on the line. This rep told me it would take 2 business days to fix the issue, but refused to give me her full name or rep number. All she gave me was her first name, not very helpful!
I never received an email from the customer service rep about this issue, nor did I receive a return phone call. To make things worse, I never received a credit back to my account either! After my bank rep looked at some Disney Store reviews, he found that none of them were any good. Ugh! I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. Isn't Disney supposed to be the happiest place on earth?! There's definitely nothing happy about fraud!
Now, I have to take the extra step of canceling my credit card, just in case they try to charge it again. I saw in other reviews that this has happened to several other people as well. Since it's the Christmas shopping season, this is more than just an inconvenience. I plan on pursuing this issue until the fraudulent charge is returned to my account. And let me tell you, I highly recommend NOT ordering through the Disney Store online. You'll regret it if you do.
The Disney Store's Website: My Nightmare Redemption Experience and the Customer Service Disaster
I've never been so disappointed in an online shopping experience before! My experience at The Disney Store's website was a complete nightmare that left me feeling horrified and disgusted. I thought I would be able to redeem my Disney Reward card to purchase a few items, but it turns out that the daily struggle had just started.
First off, when I tried to redeem the card, I was told that it was invalid! I was shocked and perplexed, so I called Disney's reward number to try and sort it out. They told me that a new card would be sent to me, but I never received this card, so I called them again only to be told that my card had been reactivated and working fine. I used it and made an online purchase of 4 items, but things immediately went off the rails.
I waited for two weeks for the items to be shipped, but the tracker still said "pending shipment." I was extremely worried, so I called shop Disney customer service and was promised that the items would be reshipped and would arrive with no problems. This didn't happen - only 3 of the 4 items arrived two days later, and they were all CRUSHED.
I was outraged but decided to hold onto hope that the 4th item would arrive soon. Unfortunately, it never did. On top of all this, I received an email stating that my redemption card was no longer working! The charges were then placed on my backup credit card, and I was charged for all 4 items.
I decided to call shop Disney to complain about these charges, the missing item, and the terrible condition of the items upon delivery. However, they didn't care and simply said that it wasn't their fault, and I should call my backup credit card to complain! They then suggested that I return the 3 crushed items and receive a full refund. The cherry on top of this awful experience was that they couldn't give me a new redemption card, so the money I spent is now GONE.
Honestly, this whole redemption process and shopping experience at Disney have been a complete nightmare. I always loved Disney's theme parks and products, but this experience has left me with a sour taste that I'm not sure I'll ever get rid of. I'm so fed up that I don't think I'll ever shop at Disney again!
Disappointing Disney Store Online Experience and Sketchy Business Practices
Alrighty then, let me tell you about my experience with the Disney Store, or more specifically their online shop disneystore.com. So I got this gift card for Christmas, and I was super stoked to check out all the cool Disney merch I could get my hands on. After some consideration, I decided I wanted to snag a Betsey Johnson Maleficent necklace on April 4-5. I went through the checkout process and used my gift card and PayPal to complete the transaction, thinking I still had some funds left on the gift card. But lo and behold, when I checked my account, the gift card had disappeared! I called their customer service about 20-30 minutes later to figure out what was up, and they told me it had indeed dropped from the order. That's some sketchy business right there, but they basically told me tough luck since the shipment was already processed. I was like, "Really? Are you kidding?" but I figured I'd just send the necklace back once it arrived.
Fast forward a few days, and I get an email telling me my package is going to arrive soon. I'm thinking, "Alright, I'll probably love it and keep it." I mean, come on, I'm a huge Disney fan, so how could I not love it? But when the box arrived, it was a complete joke. It was all beat up, like someone had just thrown it into the back of a truck and let it get bounced around. Not a great start. I opened the box and found a grand total of three shipping puffs, two of which were already deflated like they'd been used before. Umm, what? Then there was this empty plastic bag hanging out around the pouch where the necklace was supposed to be. It had bubble wrap, but the necklace didn't have any protection and was just loose in the bottom of the pouch. I don't know how those jewels didn't get all messed up.
And don't even get me started on the paper that was in the box. It looked like it had been reused a million times or something. All in all, it was a pretty underwhelming experience. Fortunately, they made it easy for me to send the necklace back, so I snapped a quick pic of the sad little package to document it and shipped it right back to them.
Now, I'm a huge Disney fan and I've got all sorts of cool Disney stuff in my bedroom and kitchen, but man, this situation was really disappointing. I had my eye on a LEGO castle, but I'm not impressed enough by this purchase to feel confident enough to order it from the Disney Store. I'll probably look elsewhere to buy it.
I do wanna give a shoutout to the fact that they made it easy for me to send back the necklace, but seriously, they need to figure out how to improve their shipping and packaging. And it's kind of a bummer that they won't pay for return shipping. Like, come on guys, keep it honest. So yeah, thanks a whole lot for the experience, Disney Store.
The Disney Store: Cool Products, Terrible Service & Shipping
Yo everyone! Listen up! I wanna share my experience about The Disney Store (disneystore.com), but lemme tell you, it ain't gonna be all praise. So, my hubby and I are huge fans of Disney figures, we've been collecting them for years and we recently purchased one from the website. Now, the product itself was super-cool and we were stoked to add it to our fancy collection, but the whole shipping process was a big disappointment.
I ordered the figure a week before my hubby's birthday, so it would arrive on time for his special day. Pfft, but when I got the package, I saw that Jiminy had broken into many pieces. My heart sank. I immediately called the customer service and chewed their ears off. I explained that it was my hubby's birthday gift (which was only two days away), but the service agent seemed so ignorant about my plight. I had to BEG them to send another one in just two days so he could have it on time. After sitting on hold for 36 minutes and arguing with a supervisor, who seemed to be deaf (I tell ya), she finally agreed. The next day I was like a maniac checking my emails for the shipping confirmation, but nada. So, I called back and learned that they messed up and didn't put it in their system. Obviously, with even more frustration, I asked them to please send it asap, which led to another argument, but finally it was done.
And...guess what? I got the same statue again, but it was broken this time too! Ahhhh! I was Fuuuuuull Stop! So, I called back and demanded a replacement and a compensation, like anything, c'mon, just do something. I had spent over $100 on this product with taxes and shipping, and they didn't pack it well, which resulted in two broken figures. They also admitted that it was their fault that the second figure was not shipped in time. So, what did they offer me? "We will offer you 10% off to keep the statue, plus a $5.00 coupon for your hassle." WHAT. That ain't worth it. I paid for a whole item, not broken pieces. And 2)...$5 off. Are you kidding me? I was frustrated to the core at that point, so I begged and cried (yes, I did) and finally, they offered me a $20.00 coupon. While I appreciate it, it would have been nice if 1) They offered that upfront after seeing how much they messed up and 2) looked at my Disney account. We have annual passes! We've spent more than thousands of dollars between Disneyland and the Disneystore.com, which anyone can clearly see by looking at my account history. But seriously, are we ever ordering again after dealing with this headache? Not a chance.
Anyway, that's my experience. I suggest that they need to upgrade their customer service skills and shipping quality. If they wanna retain loyal customers like me, they better be more attentive to their clients' problems and be more generous for their mistakes. Peace out.
Beware of disneystore.com: My experience with credit card fraud
Oh man, let me tell you about my experience with disneystore.com. So, I'm from the UK and I was on holiday in Florida when I saw the coolest t-shirt at the Disney store. But, of course, they were out of stock everywhere. So I decided to check out the US Disney store website to see if I could grab one online. Now, I'd heard some horror stories about their customer service reps and saw some dodgy reviews about people being charged for stuff they never received, but I really wanted this t-shirt. So I got my mum to buy it for me on her credit card, since she never uses it for online shopping and it seemed safer that way.
Fast forward to the end of May (yeah, it took a while to arrive) and my mum gets a call from her credit card company saying that someone in California had tried to use her card details to buy $79 worth of stuff at Target. Now, my mum had only ever used that card for the Disney store purchase and hadn't used it since, so it seemed pretty fishy that someone in the exact same state where the Disney store headquarters are located tried to use her card. We blocked the card immediately and thankfully nothing else was charged.
But seriously, what the heck? How did someone gain access to my mum's card details like that? It's super creepy and it's left a bad taste in our mouths about the Disney store. I don't know if it was an inside job or what, but I'm not risking my card details with them again. It's a shame because they have such cool stuff, but I'm not willing to take that chance. So beware if you're considering buying from disneystore.com – it might end up costing you a lot more than you bargained for.
Disney Store's Terrible Customer Service: My First (and Last) Order was a Disaster
Oh man, my first ever order on disneystore.com was a disaster. Seriously, the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. So, here's what went down: I placed the order on 12/21/2014 and didn't receive a confirmation email. Uh oh. Two days later, I emailed their customer service to check up on it. Wanda got back to me and said it had been shipped on 12/23/2014 and gave me a UPS tracking number. Three days later, there was no movement on the tracking info. I called up UPS and they were like, "we ain't got no physical package from them yet." Welp.
So, I get back on the horn with the Disney Store and Kirby answers. This lady was so annoyed with me for asking about my order, it was unbelievable. She then tells me that the order wasn't even ready to ship on 12/26/2014, because it was personalized. Okay, that's fine, but why was I told something completely different earlier? Kirby then told me she'd re-send the item to me but also said the original item had already been sent out. Huh? It took about 20 minutes for Kirby to apologize for the original miscommunication. She assured me the item would arrive by 12/30/2014. When I asked for confirmation of the order, she said it wasn't possible because it was placed over a week ago. Come on, Kirby. That's not great customer service.
I begged Kirby to send me some kind of confirmation but I still haven't received anything. I also asked for a discount or something for all the trouble but she refused. Eventually, she agreed to give me a price adjustment but said it would have to be a gift card. No way, man. I'm not shopping with them again after this mess. This whole experience sucked and I've gotta tell people about it.
Disney Store's Misleading Christmas Delivery Promise and Hidden Fine Print Disclaimers
So, I gotta be real with y'all. I made the mistake of ordering some jewelry from The Disney Store (disneystore.com) on December 14, 2017, after seeing all those dang ads promising Christmas delivery. But let me tell ya, it was a mess. Throughout the whole dang order process, there was no clear idea of when my items would arrive. All I got was an order confirmation saying standard shipping would take 5-6 biz days, which shoulda been enough time for Christmas, right? Wrong.
Fast forward to December 22nd, I get the shipping email after days of radio silence, and I'm lookin' at the delivery timeframe from UPS. You can imagine my disappointment when I realize there's no way the items will make it in time. To add insult to injury, the shipping charge was a whopping $38. And the folks I planned on gifting these items to? Yeah, they'd be outta the country for the next month and a half before I could give it to 'em.
So I call up shopdisney.com's customer service and they hit me with some hard truth: the "shipping by Christmas" ads only applied to certain items, and in the fine print, it mentions that the items I ordered were from an outside vendor that required an additional 2 weeks of processing time. Apparently, I was supposed to have ordered by December 5th if I wanted it by Christmas.
Now, I don't wanna sound like a total grump, but come on, Disney peeps. It's 2017. The other big online shops give you real time delivery estimates before you even finish ordering. And they put that info front and center in the order summary email. Not buried in tiny disclaimers under the product images. I'm just sayin', a warning would have been nice so I coulda had a backup plan ready.
And here's the kicker: if your vendors take 1-2 weeks to ship, there should be a pop-up warning or something. Not just a teensy-tiny sentence below the item that says "order by 12/5 to get it by Christmas". Especially since the stuff I ordered didn't seem any more complicated than your average pre-made or manufactured item. My family does a lot of online shopping, and your competitors can deliver in two days flat.
Now, I wasn't tryna get a refund or ask for a discount or anything. I just wanted to leave some feedback on a less-than-stellar Christmas shopping experience. But when I asked to speak to someone who could hear me out, the customer service rep basically said they couldn't do anything and kept repeating the same info that was on the website.
So please, Disney Store peeps. Hear me out. Let's make next Christmas a happier one for everyone by being upfront and clear about delivery times and vendor stuff. That's all I'm sayin'.
My Experience with The Disney Store Online: Misleading Notifications, Out of Stock Items, and Disappointing Customer Service
So, let me tell you about my experience with The Disney Store. As a lifelong Disney fan, I was pumped to order some personalized items for my son's Christmas gift. I placed my order on November 10, 2013 and received a shipment notification a few days later. However, only the non-personalized items arrived, and I never got the personalized ones.
I tried to be patient, but it was getting close to Christmas, so I reached out to their customer service. I emailed them multiple times, and they kept assuring me that my package was on the way and would arrive in time for Christmas. But by December 2nd, I was getting antsy, so I called them up. They told me that one item was out of stock, but they could reship the other and give me a gift card for the out of stock one. I asked if they could replace it with a similar item instead, and after waiting on hold for 5-10 minutes, they found it for me and promised to send both items with 2-day shipping.
I got a notification on December 6th saying that both items were shipped with a new tracking number. But on December 11th, I checked the tracking and saw that nothing had been delivered yet. I called customer service again, and they told me that BOTH items were out of stock now. They offered me a gift card as a refund, but after a long discussion, I finally got them to agree to refund my money onto my credit card. However, because of these misleading shipment notifications, I lost the chance to find my son another present in time for Christmas.
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience. Losing one package can happen, but losing two in a row is just unacceptable. The whole process needs some work, and the misleading notifications need to be addressed. Plus, the customer service representatives were nice but not very helpful. They blamed UPS even when my package was a MONTH late.
In the end, I'm just disappointed that I wasn't able to get the items I thought I was getting for my son. So, my advice to you is to be careful when ordering from The Disney Store Online, especially if you need your items by a specific date. Don't make the same mistake I did - lesson learned!
Disney Store Review: Terrible Customer Service and Multiple Mistakes in Order Fulfillment
Oh man, where do I even start with the Disneystore website? I gotta say, they have ruined Disney for me. I put in an order about three weeks ago for a bunch of stuff and spent about $300. In that order, I was supposed to get two sets of blue ceramic dinner plates. But when the package finally arrived, I was super disappointed to find that instead of two whole sets, I had two individually wrapped single plates. Like, seriously? Come on, guys.
So I reached out with an email, attaching copies of the receipts, showing that I paid the full amount, and even a screenshot of my online account. Disney apologized and said they would mail me the missing sets. The next day, I get a shipping confirmation but it's only for ONE set of plates. Are you kidding me? I already had to email them once to fix the mistake and now they're doing it again?
So I send another email, telling them that they only mailed one set when I was owed two. Again, they apologized and promised to fix it. Five days go by and still no shipping confirmation for the second set of plates. At this point, I'm losing my mind because these plates were supposed to be a gift and it's way past when they were supposed to arrive. And to make matters worse, they never even bothered to tell me about the delay in shipping like they're supposed to by law.
After sending off a fiery email, I finally get a response hours later but it's not exactly what I was hoping for. They tell me that the second set of plates has finally been sent and that I should call their 1-800 number. I'm thinking, "Finally! This is where we make it right." But nope. After waiting on hold for what feels like forever, I'm basically told that they have no idea why I was given the number to call and that everything should be fine with my order. So what was the point of having me call in the first place?
After four mistakes and wasting so much of my time, I get an email telling me that I need to print a shipping label, repack the two individual plates, and send them to a UPS pick up location. All because of THEIR mistakes. And they have the audacity to keep apologizing like that's supposed to make up for everything. It means nothing when they do nothing to make it right.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing business with the Disney store. They clearly don't care about getting orders right or making their customers happy. And the fact that they made me waste my own time, resources, and money to fix their mistakes is just ridiculous. Look at all the negative reviews online too – I'm not the only one who's had issues with them.
So yeah, I'm not giving the Disney store any more of my money. I'm going to post this message on all the rating sites, the BBB, and my Facebook for all 2000 of my friends to see. The only time Disney cares is when they see their profits dropping. And if you've been wronged by them too, you can file a complaint with the California state attorney general. Trust me, it's worth the effort.
Disney Store Complaints 94
Customer service doesn't live up to the Disney name
I ordered two pieces of jewelry on 12/14/2017 after seeing banners all over the place saying that if I ordered soon I could have the items by Christmas. All through the order process - no detailed estimates of arrival dates. The only thing I get is an order confirmation saying i chose standard shipping, expected to be 5-6 business days - which should be enough to get before Christmas, right?
Nope. I get an email that my item shipped on 12/22/2017 after radio silence. Then I check the UPS delivery time frame and it says that I can expect to receive it on 12/29/2017... let me just mention that I was charged $38 for shipping as well and that the person I intended to buy the presents for leaves the country for a month and a half the day before. So I can't even give it to them as a late Christmas present.
So I call shopdisney.com's customer service to find out what's going on and then they tell me that the "shipping by Christmas" banners that were prevalent throughout the site only applied to a few select items. Additionally, in the tiny fine print, the items I ordered were indicated as being from an outside vendor, with an additional 2 weeks of processing time and that I would have had to order by 12/5/2017 in order to receive the items by Christmas.
So I ask if I can speak to someone to leave feedback on the website and customer service rep effectively tells me she can't help me while re-iterating this information is on the website.
So in the tiny chance anyone does read this that does manage shopdisney site design or marketing...
1) This is 2017. Many other large online shopping sites give you real time delivery estimates right before you place your order and in the order summary email - not tiny disclaimers below products, especially when your website is crowded with advertisements for other products and much larger flashing "SHIPPING BY CHRISTMAS" banners. A reminder/warning would have been helpful so that I could have had a contingency plan.
2) If your vendors take 1-2 weeks to ship, you should create a pop up warning, not bury it in tiny text. Especially with something ridiculous like "order by 12/5" to get delivery by Christmas on items that seem like every other pre-made/manufactured item you sell. I wasn't ordering custom made or expensive items here. My family does a ton of online shopping and your competitors deliver stuff to my door step two days after I order it.
To the people running shopdisney customer service - I wasn't looking for a refund or a discount. I simply wanted to provide feedback on a poor christmas shopping experience. You couldn't even do that?
I have been a huge fan of Disney all my life and it
"I have been a huge fan of Disney all my life and it unfortunate that I have to write this negative review.
I placed an order for two personalized items (along with other items as well) on 11/10/13. A few days later I received a shipment notification that my items have shipped with a tracking number provided. The order was sent in two shipments (the personalized items sent separately a few days later). I received the nonpersonalized items within a reasonable amount of time, but never got the personalized items. I understand that personalization takes time so I tried not to be impatient. I emailed customer service multiple times and they assured me that my order was on its way and that I would get it by Christmas. December 2,2013 (almost 1 month after my order was placed) I called customer service and I was told that they could reship one of my products but the other was out of stock and they could give me a gift card. I requested that they replace the out of stock item with another similar item and after 5-10 minutes on hold they informed me that they "found" me the item that was out of stock and they would have it personalized and have both items resent with 2 day shipping. December 6,2013 I received shipment notification for both of the items with a new tracking number. December 11 I tracked the shipment and it just said that a label had been made, but that the package had not been dropped off (same message as the first lost shipment). I called customer service and they informed me that now BOTH of my items were out of stock and that they could give me a gift card as a refund for my items. After more discussion I was able to get them to agree to refund the money onto my credit card. Only after discussing the situation with a manager was I even able to get the money I paid for shipping on these two objects refunded. While the associate that I chatted with acted sincere and apologetic, a refund does not fully resolve the issue. For a month and a half I was under the impression that my Christmas shopping was finished for my son, but now these are items that I will not be able to replace because I live in a very rural area. By receiving the misleading "shipment notifications" I lost any opportunity I had to get out of town to find him another present.
I do not write reviews often, but I feel like it needs to be done. I understand that losing a shipment once happens sometimes, but twice in a row is simply ridiculous and shows that there is problems with the process they are using. I just want any other potential buyers to beware of the Disney Stores misleading "shipment notifications" (which just means that they made a label for the item and has nothing to do with the item actually making it to a shipping facility). Also, do not trust the individuals that answer the emails. They just tell you to wait until UPS finally updates their systems (even though my package was a month late at the time, they still tried to blame UPS).
Overall I am just very disappointed in the Disney Store and at a loss as to what I will do now to replace the items I thought I was getting my son. Lesson learned- never buy something from the Disney Store Online that you need by a specific date (even if you have a 2 month buffer). "
Disney Store Online Shop Failed to Deliver for Christmas: Disappointing Service and No Accountability
So, I was super excited to order my 5-year-old kid's Christmas presents from the Disney Store's online shop (disneystore.com) because the website promised that the items would be delivered before Christmas day. I thought to myself, this is amazing! No going out in the cold to shop, no lines, no hassle. But boy, was I wrong.
I received two different tracking numbers since the items shipped out of different states. It wouldn't have been an issue except that neither package shipped for 2-3 days after I received the tracking info. Can you believe it? It ended up with the items being delivered AFTER Christmas day! Talk about being disappointed.
When I called the customer service hotline, they offered me a "whopping" $10 credit towards my next purchase, which was basically their shipping charge. At the time, I was irate and furious. $10 off doesn't even come close to my kid not having her presents under the tree on the most pivotal day of the year! I wasn't satisfied, so I decided to email the corporate office to convey my dissatisfaction with their service.
They promised to reach back to me and after a whole week, they finally called me, and guess what they suggest? Another $10 credit towards my next purchase! Can you imagine this? It's crazy. What baffled me even more is that this also happened to me about five years ago with the Disney store, and I promised myself never to buy anything from them again. But yet, here we are, and it's the same problem.
In conclusion, I will NEVER buy from the Disney store again. I hope other people have the patience to wait for their overpriced items because shipping is clearly not a priority for them. It's such a shame considering their reputation and the expectations that come with that. It's needless to say that I won't be recommending them to anyone either. So, be warned!

Terrible Customer Service from Disney Store's Online Shop
So, I purchased this really cute Belle Bag from Disney's online store, disneystore.com, back in June. It was adorable! But, by the end of July, the handles were already starting to come apart. I was pretty disappointed, so I decided to reach out to customer service to see what they could do for me.
And let me tell you, the service I received was just terrible. I was passed from one person to the next, and none of them seemed to know what was going on. Eventually, in September, I was told that I would be refunded. It was supposed to take 21 days to process the refund, so I patiently waited.
But, of course, after 21 days went by, there was no refund. And, once again, I was passed from one useless person to another. It was honestly so frustrating. I've been dealing with this for months. Finally, just the other day, I was told that the refund had been sent to my bank, but it was rejected. I called my bank, and they told me that they never received anything from Disney.
I was so fed up at this point, but I still gave them my bank details again and was told that I had to wait another 21 days for the refund to process. That means that I will have waited SIX months by the time this is all resolved. Can you believe that?
I've asked several times for the head office's address, but they always refuse to give it to me. On top of that, I haven't been offered any compensation for all the hassle that I've been through. I just really wouldn't recommend buying from disneystore.com if you want good customer service. It's honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Disappointing experience with The Disney Store - disneystore.com: Delayed delivery and poor customer service
So, I got to tell you about my experience with The Disney Store - disneystore.com. I placed an order on December 14th for my lovely nieces and nephews, and boy was I excited! I mean, who doesn't like Disney? Anyway, I was feeling like Santa Claus himself, but my little helper came in the form of the customer service line, which I found myself calling almost every day to ask about the status of my order. I was promised each time that I would receive my order by Christmas Day, but I was starting to get anxious and understandably so.
Finally, on December 19th, a representative told me that my order had not been shipped but not to worry, it would go out the next day. I asked to change the shipping method but was told it was too late. Fine, whatever, I thought. At least my little sweethearts would get their gifts. But, to my dismay, I received two emails about the items being out of stock. Okay, no problem, I thought, they would still have some nice presents to open on Christmas Day, right? Wrong!
I kept checking the tracking on Thursday and Friday, and it showed that my package never arrived at the post office. Frustrated and anxious, I spent over an hour on hold, only to be told I would receive my order that day and that the post office was slow to update their website. Well, guess what? The tracking finally updated during the night, and the package wouldn't arrive until December 29th, six days after they promised delivery! Can you believe that?
I called again this morning, and they apologized, saying that I could return the items once they were received. Really? I mean, come on Disney Store, be honest with us. If they were backed up and couldn't deliver on time, just tell us. I would have gone out and bought other items instead of waiting all week for nothing.
Despite all this, I still love Disney, and I know my nieces and nephews will love their gifts, but I have to say I'm disappointed with the customer service, the shipping, and the lack of information on the status of my order. So, if you're planning to order from The Disney Store - disneystore.com, be prepared for some delays and frustrations.
Disappointing Online Purchase from the Disney Store: Lacking Quality and Attention to Detail
As someone who loves all things Disney, I was excited to make an online purchase from the Disney Store (disneystore.com). However, my experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. While a penny may not seem like a lot of money, I was charged an extra penny without any explanation or notification from the company.
I reached out to their customer service team via email and received a response that didn't really address my concern. Frustrated, I sent another email expressing my disappointment and informed them that I would no longer be shopping with them. They responded by saying they would look into it, but I still haven't received any explanation as to why I was charged the penny in the first place.
To make matters worse, the quality of their merchandise has been lacking lately. I purchased a bag to carry my items out of the store, but the seams started coming apart as soon as I got it to my car. It's disappointing to see a company with such a strong brand and reputation skimping on the quality of their products.
Overall, my experience with the Disney Store has left a bad taste in my mouth. While I love all things Disney and their parks are still magical places, I will be taking my business elsewhere for merchandise. It's a shame because I used to be a loyal customer, but with their lack of attention to detail and customer service, they've lost me. Zero stars would be more than appropriate.
Disappointing User Experience with Disney Store Website: Gift Card and Reward Card Limitations
Oh boy, let me tell you about my experience with The Disney Store website, disneystore.com. While I love Disney products, the website itself isn't the most user-friendly. For example, when I tried to enter multiple gift cards for my order, I was only allowed to enter one online. I had to call in to add the second one, which was a bit frustrating. How many of us have multiple kids who get gift cards for Christmas? Disney should know this and make it easier to enter multiple cards online.
Another issue I had was with the website not telling me how much my gift card discount was taking off the order. I had to track it myself and make sure my credit card was charged the correct amount. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have that information provided.
And let me tell you about using a Disney credit card. I found out the hard way that you're only allowed one reward card per order on the Disneystore.com. They don't tell you this anywhere on the website. I placed my order and called in to add the second reward card, only to receive notice a few days later that I wasn't allowed to use more than one per order. It would have been helpful to know that before I called in the second card. But apparently, the person on the other end didn't know either since they didn't inform me of the policy.
Overall, the website could definitely use some updating. Disney recently updated the It's a Small World ride in Florida, so maybe they should give the website the same treatment. As much as I love Disney products, I wouldn't recommend buying gift cards from them to give to family members. It's just too much of a hassle with the website's limitations.
Disappointing Experience with Disney Store's Online Holiday Shopping
from the Disney Store. I mean, seriously, it's supposed to be the Happiest Place on Earth, right? Well, shopping at the online Disney Store has been anything but happy for me this holiday season.
I placed my order on November 29th and was given a delivery date of December 9th. Awesome, I thought. I'll have plenty of time to wrap up these gifts and put them under the tree before Santa comes a-callin'. But then on December 6th, I got an email saying my order might be delayed. Okay, fine. I can wait a little longer.
But then, on December 8th, I got another email saying one of the items I ordered was no longer available. Bummer, but hey, at least they were going to refund me for that item, right? Wrong.
When I called the Disney Store customer service line on December 14th to find out what was going on, the three reps I spoke to (Jack, Jade, and Sami) were about as helpful as a snowman in July. Each one gave me a different story about why my order was delayed or cancelled or not authorized or whatever. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, they all said they were too busy to talk to me. Real nice.
Now, just a few days before Christmas, I've been told that my entire order has been cancelled due to some "technical issue" and that I won't be getting any of the gifts I ordered. And to top it off, they say my payment wasn't even authorized, even though I got a confirmation email and everything. What the heck, Disney Store?
Look, I know mistakes happen and things can get delayed or out of stock or whatever. But when a company as big and powerful as Disney can't handle a simple online order for Christmas gifts, there's a serious problem. I expected better from the Disney Store, and I'm extremely disappointed in the way they've handled this situation. Shame on you, Disney.
DisneyStore.com Delivery Disaster - My Disappointing Experience with Customer Service
I recently bought some cool clothes from DisneyStore.com on October 4th. I was totally stoked to have the delivery waiting for me at my hotel in New York by October 11th since I had to hustle back to Brazil on that date. I had also ordered stuff from Amazon and Walgreens on the same day, and they got to me with no huff or puff, just the delivery I was expecting. However, my excitement came crashing down with a thud when I realized my Disney order was still shrouded in mystery. The delivery date suddenly changed to the 13th, and then got "kindly" reduced to the 12th, which was exactly when I was booked to be in Brazil. Yikes!
I decided to give the DisneyStore.com customer service hotline a try before fully losing my marbles. The customer service peeps had a lot to say for themselves. I got told that orders placed after the deadline will only get processed on the following day. Aw, man! Why’s that not clearer on the Disneyland website for customers to read? Then, the operator made me feel a bit silly when they said, "couldn't you call the carrier and pick up the package yourself?” I mean, I could, but do they expect me to ditch out on the sights and sounds of New York and waste my tourist time picking up a package? It's not like the delivery people are on top of their game anyway!
But then, the operator said that the delivery was held back because of Hurricane Irma and Harvey, which was a totally different ball game. I couldn't hold back the sass and asked, "Well, why did my orders from two other sites arrive on time, even before the promised date? One of them even uses the same carrier as Disney." All the operator could say was something about apples, oranges, and Mickey Mouse. I'm guessing that Disney doesn't care about their customers losing $100 because they are big ballers and the loss of one customer wouldn't make a difference to them.
Overall, the experience left such a bitter taste in my mouth that I’m in no mind to buy anything from Disney, ever again. Especially not at DisneyStore.com!
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Shop Disney - Zero Compassion or Assistance Given
So, I was on the Shop Disney website scrolling through all the amazing gifts to buy for my son's Christmas. I added everything to my cart and went ahead to check out, but guess what? The site said that the payment didn't go through. I was so confused, but then I noticed that my cart was completely empty. Ugh! I had to redo the entire order all over again.
Finally, the second order went through, and I was so excited to wait for my son's gifts to arrive. However, just a little while later, I received an email for 2 orders. Two orders, really? I was so frustrated and called their customer service immediately. But, I got bad news. They were already processing and there was no way to cancel the second order. Can you imagine? Two huge payments being deducted from my checking account all during the Christmas season? It was terrible!
Their response was, "Sorry, nothing we can do." How could they say that? It left me in a bind, with no option but to wait until both packages arrived and then return one. I would then have to wait however long it took them to get it back and refund my money. It was terrible and Disney didn't care or try to make it right in any way. They might as well have told me, "too bad, so sad!"
When I decided that calling customer service was not going to help, I attempted to try the chat. But can we talk about how legit rude they were? The customer service agents were mocking me and saying things that made me want to ask, "Are you messing with me?" The entire conversation was so ridiculous, that I had to screenshot it. Can you imagine my surprise when I went to click on the screenshot, and it disappeared? Crazy! Which brought me to another point, I tried messaging their Facebook page and emailing them asking for a transcript of the chat, but they still haven't gotten back to me.
It's been three days, and the order is still in processing and not shipped. Honestly, I am so over this, I will never shop with The Disney Store again. Their customer service or compassion is zero, and that's not okay. To top it off, it doesn't make sense to me why an order couldn't be canceled minutes after it was placed. Terrible service!
My Nightmare Experience with The Disney Store (Disneystore.com)
Yo, so I had a pretty rough experience with The Disney Store (disneystore.com). I tried to pre-order a Blu-ray of Solo: A Star Wars Story, and three days after I got an email that it had shipped, I realized that the UPS tracking info said the label had been created, but the merchandise hadn't actually shipped yet.
I called up The Disney Store to figure out what was going on, but they told me that it was actually from a third party vendor and it would take some time to arrive. I waited for three weeks, but still no sign of the movie. When I called back, they told me the same thing - that it was beyond their control.
I had to ask to talk to a supervisor before they finally agreed to send me a replacement, which would take another week and a half to arrive because *surprise surpriseit was coming from the same "trusted" third party that had failed me the first time.
At this point, I decided enough was enough. I'd already waited for a month and a half, and the movie was available elsewhere. So I asked for a refund, which they agreed to, but they refunded me with a digital gift card that can only be used on their site. WTF?! I made it pretty clear that I wasn't planning on buying anything from them again, so why would I want a digital gift card that locks me into their platform?
Instead, I went and bought the movie from Walmart.com, and it arrived in three days with free shipping. Plus, I saved 8 bucks compared to what I would have paid at The Disney Store.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with The Disney Store. I hope people read this before buying anything from them, because it was a total nightmare.
Disney Store Online Order Nightmare - Don't Make the Same Mistake!
So, I was super hyped to get some Disney swag from the Disney Store (disneystore.com), but my experience was definitely disappointing. I tried to place my order multiple times on their website starting on a Thursday, but their site was down. That's a bummer, but I kept trying every day until the following Tuesday...still no luck. I even tried to call in my order but couldn't because I had just signed up for a new Disney Chase VISA and didn't know my card number yet. Finally, I got my rush shipment VISA and called in my order, but then I found out that two of the items I wanted were out of stock! Boo.
To top it all off, I was told shipping would take 5-7 days, but I wasn't informed that this was how long it would take for Disney to just mail out the products, not including transit time. I did get one item from another vendor, but then I had to call in AGAIN to get an update on the rest of my order since the online tracking didn't work. Finally, after waiting 8 long days, I got a notification that my other items were on their way...only to then get another email the next day saying that one of the items was out of stock and couldn't be sent to me at all! Talk about frustrating.
I ended up having to make FOUR phone calls to Disney to resolve all of these issues, and to top it all off, when my package finally arrived, ONLY HALF OF MY ORDER WAS THERE! I was supposed to get six items, but only got three. When I called customer service AGAIN to complain, they said they would send out the missing items with no shipping charge. Um, thanks? But honestly, at that point, I was just over it. I asked them to please cancel my order and refund me for the missing items. The experience was just too much of a headache for me to deal with again.
All in all, I'm sad to say that this was probably my first and LAST time ordering from disneystore.com. I understand that sometimes websites can have issues, but this was just ridiculous. Plus, the lack of communication about which items were out of stock and the misleading shipping timeline just added to the stress. Not worth it, in my opinion.
Slinky dog dash hollywood studio
Incident date 11/10/21 @ slingky Dog Dash Disney World Orlando Florida
Maria Soriano, [protected].
It my family's FIRST visit to disney world from California, I'm very displeased with my experience with your customer service. I want to report your staff for very very poor assistance, without my FIND MY IPHONE feature I would have left Orlando Florida without my iphone.
It was pouring rain when we rode the slingky dog dash, still our family of 10 enjoyed the ride n rain. We walked to ABC restaurant for lunch n hope the rain will stop, I realized that I left my iPhone at the slingky ride side pocket. I rushed back in the pouring rain all the way back to find my iphone, spoke to all the staff but no-one had seen it. I ask what I should do n they said to go to lost n found. Went back to my family feeling so bad not because of the phone but that all my photos are gone😢 after hours of thinking and doing the best way to retrieve my phone my daughter finally was able to detect my phone at the slingky ride. We run back to the ride again in the pouring rain and the staff still insist its not there n that they look all over, but the FIND MY IPHONE says otherwise. We were insisting to the staffs that per our FIND MY IPHONE, my iphone is in the exact/direct spot where we are standing by the ride operator at slingky dog ride, your staff was not helpful or lazy or maybe with bad intentions to not give my iphone by just saying its not there. Finally one of the staff tall blond guy (like he knows it was there) open the cabinet just beside me n there it it is my iphone.
WHY IS IT THAT NOT ONE of your staff looked in the only one cabinet beside operator? I went through all the running stress anxiety in the pouring rain when it would have been easy to find my phone! I hope they don't do this bad service to the other guest. My persistence paid off, but what with other guest who doesn't know what to do? I want a respond via text from a supervisor about this incident of unprofessional n BAD customer service
Disregard for Disney’s own rules regarding time shares
Tried to book a vacation for Disney's hiltonhead resort as we always have been able to do. Did this on the very first day we could according to dvc rules. was told nothing is available and put on a waiting list. Waited months and called dvc for an explanation. Was on hold for 1 hour to get a runaround and no results. Asked for a supervisor how amazingly had the same runaround spiel an customer service. We
Pay 1500.00 per year in dues and are not able to use our timeshare this year for what reason. I was told Hawaii and California would be tough to get reservation in. What that has to do with hiltonhead South Carolina I don't know. Dvc Customer service and supervisor were both completely useless and could care less if we couldn't use the time share we paid good money for this year. Buyer beware!
Desired outcome: Honoring our request to use our time share as in several previous years.
Store in Lancaster PA Mask Requirements
On Sunday May 09, 2021, I wanted to buy a outfit and Accessory for my Granddaughters first birthday, my 14 old son went with to shop for star wars, on the door we got told he can not enter the store with a gaitor mask, -Disney police -, his face was half covered to his glasses, his mask is made out of the same material like the mask that you sell in your stores. Needless to say we didn't go in the store and couldn't buy something because of this. We love your parks and did many times vacation in there, but this was a bummer for us. Nowhere it was signed that you couldn't go in the store with a Gaitor mask. It was Mask up that what he did.
Discrimination
I was refused entry based on my mask. My mask has a n FPR 10 Hepa Filter which is far supurb to what I was told to wear.
Desired outcome: Eliminate the racist and discrimination against diabled veterans
Trying to get a refund
We made an online purchase through Disney store 27 November 2020, Order number [protected]. We received our delivery via Hermes unfortunately both the packaging and contents were damaged. We immediately contacted Disney who told us to return the item for a replacement. We returned the item on the 7th December via Herems. As of today 11th January 2121 we still have not received the replacement or refund. We are the ones having to constantly keep contacting customer services after they tell us they will come back to us within 48hrs. We have just telephoned again after not hearing a news, only to be told that they will start a yet another NEW investigation (this would be the 3rd investigation). This is now beyond a joke. We are £100+ out of pocket, we have a daughter without a Christmas present. I am disgusted with how we have been treated.
Desired outcome: THE ITEM REPLACED PLUS A CASH CO.PENSATION FOR MY DAUGHTER .
Walt & mickey partners ornament
Ordered this 8/18/20 for a gift. Rec'd each time broken. This was packaged with ornament wrapped in bubble wrap with 1 sheet of tissue paper laying in a 12x12 box. It was free to move around and each time I called I said it was breaking due to packaging. Unfortunately, last customer service person (rob) told me item was out of stock (which I put it in my shopping bag) so don't think it was. So with gift card he issued I guess I will try to purchase when I can go to a store. Very disappointing. This is a $25 ornament and would think better care would be taken.
In-store incident
On September 18th my son and I were denied entry to the Disney store in Destiny Mall in Syracuse NY. Even though I told the woman he is 2 years old and he has asthma and cannot wear a mask. She continued to deny us entry. I tried a face shield, I tried a mask and he would not wear it as it inhibits his breathing. I told the customer service woman this and...
