Responsiveness is so slow, it's like watching paint dry
Responsiveness is so slow, it's like watching paint dry. If you send an email to your property manager, don't hold your breath for a response. It could take 2 weeks or you might never hear back. I tried calling, but that was a dead end too. After pressing a bunch of buttons, I was sent to voicemail. Surprise, surprise, no call back. This has happened to me 4 times in 2020 alone. It's a real kick in the teeth for homeowners and it's just plain unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend doing business with DNI if you have a choice. Like others have said, they do the bare minimum and collect their paycheck.
I gotta say, this is only my second time writing a review, so bear with me
I gotta say, this is only my second time writing a review, so bear with me. But let me tell ya, all them bad reviews about DNI Properties? They're spot on. Me and my neighbors in our subdivision have had nothing but trouble since we hired them three years ago. And let me tell ya, I know a thing or two about handling resident concerns and projects - I was head of our architectural committee for over 20 years. But these guys? Unprofessional, rude, and clueless about our subdivision and landscape. And it ain't just the regular employees - even the management is like that. They're always demanding and authoritative, and they don't communicate for squat. And get this - we're the ones paying for their "service"! Our board members hired 'em, but I wouldn't recommend 'em to anyone. I've been in the business world for over a decade, and I've seen my fair share of miss-managed projects and wasted money. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews before you hire a management company.

I asked DNI Properties Inc for a trustee letter of verification for a property on 3/13
I asked DNI Properties Inc for a trustee letter of verification for a property on 3/13. The letter is good for 30 days. I found out that the HUD attorney also asked for the letter on 2/24. They are making two letters and charging twice (two fees) for one letter. I ordered the letters online. There was no notification on their website that the letter was already issued. They charged me $290.00 which wasn't needed since the letter was already issued and still valid within the 30 day period.
I got a warning from DNI Properties Inc on 06.02.2022 about my lawn being too long
I got a warning from DNI Properties Inc on 06.02.2022 about my lawn being too long. *** was the one who issued the warning. Even though I sent pictures from my cameras showing that my lawn was not as long as they claimed, *** still gave me a fine. When I asked for proof with date and time stamps, I was given a picture of my lawn on 7.21.2022, which is still not as long as they claimed. Whenever there is a problem, they should provide pictures with date and time stamps. The pictures I sent had date and time stamps from 6.02.2022, but Stephanie Stone from DNI provided a picture taken from a vehicle as evidence. The lawn looks nothing like it did on 6.02.2022, and it might be brown due to the heat, but it is still not over 8 inches long.
I been paying my HOA fees for 6 years without any problems until they changed the system
I been paying my HOA fees for 6 years without any problems until they changed the system. My bank info got deleted and I had to put it back in. I paid twice in Oct. 2018 and showed Finance proof. I talked to the Board and Property manager and we agreed I would pay half of what I owed and they would waive the late fees. In April last year, I got a letter saying I still owed money. We had a new property manager and she said she would look into it. I asked her again in July but she never got back to me. I asked Finance for a statement but they didn't answer. In March, I got a letter saying I owed $220.74. I talked to the head of DNI because this has been going on for a while. I pay almost $300 a month and I don't get any service. My ceiling leaks, the roof needs work, the gutters are dirty, snow is piled up in front of my house, weeds are growing, and more!
Sarah Gool, our point of contact, ignores e-mails. You have to find necessary information elsewhere. She is snarky if she decides to respond; just say no if your HOA is considering DNI!
