Constellation Realty Management is honestly the laziest and most unprofessional folks I've ever dealt with. If you ain't a law expert, they'll totally exploit ya. They've straight up fibbed multiple times 'bout utilities, sneaked into my place without permission, lied 'bout resident complaints, tried to pull off an illegal rent increase, and flat out ignore any questions from us tenants. These people are just plain mean.

Most of the management is unprofessional and there is a lot of miscommunication. I have told them many times that I am recovering from a stroke, but they never consider that I have already recovered. They constantly do repairs and fumigation in the apartment, even though we have been living here for 4 years. Their response is always to just move, without realizing how expensive it is in *** to find another apartment with my condition. They have gone through three management changes. I would like to move, but I have been waiting to fully recover. However, we feel stuck.

This place is so stressful to stay at, especially in my location. Our complaints don't seem to matter at all. The neighbors let their dog pee and poop on the balcony, and it just drips down. It's truly disgusting. We made a complaint, but nothing has changed. They only repaired the balcony a few days ago, and already the dog is back at it. The owners of the dog couldn't care less. There are children here, and it's embarrassing to have guests over when you can't even walk through the gate without smelling dog poop. On top of that, some people here always leave the gate open, as if they don't have a key or they're letting unauthorized people in. It stays open all night. The other day, there was a homeless man passed out in front of the parking spaces. Anyone could wander onto the premises when the gate isn't closed. There's no safety at all. People who don't even live here come through the gate at all hours of the night. Even if you close the gate, I guarantee it will be open again within a few hours. The dumpster is never locked, so there are always people going through the trash in the morning, leaving a mess in the alley when they're done. I definitely wouldn't recommend renting here at all. Maybe I'll take photos of the urine dripping from the balcony or the puddle it leaves on the floor to add to this review. Also, don't even think about moving here unless you want to see the neighboring property owner using drugs openly at 8 in the morning. That same person is involved with the people mentioned above in the apartment complex who let their dogs pee everywhere. He had the nerve to say he's babysitting the apartment. They're complete weirdos. They basically run this place. If you have kids, stay far away from here.

Do not rent here. They have roaches. *** is a bad landlord. He is very rude and unprofessional, telling lies. He only communicates on his terms and will hang up on you. He will make false reports about damages and messes in your unit. He will deny letting his manager or owner communicate with you, so he has complete control of communication with the management company. He will say your internet is "complimentary," even though it's listed in the lease as part of your rent. Then he will make you share the router with other tenants and get upset if you use too much data on the "complimentary" internet (ours dropped at times and was unreliable, so we had to get our own internet). His staff will do maintenance outside of the unit and leave the gates wide open, so make sure you don't have pets. He will put incorrect dates for the lease terms (he had to correct it three times because he put 11 months, then 13 months, then the wrong months). He never fixed multiple issues with our unit despite countless maintenance requests that get ignored. You have to remind them. He will text you that he's busy and never has time to return a phone call, but he makes immediate requests of his tenants without prior communication. He will text and email all the units about a noise complaint instead of addressing the individual unit. He doesn't give you keys to your mailbox, know when trash comes, and doesn't mind homeless people going through your garbage. He will send people unexpectedly to your home with demands, so hopefully you're there and not busy. If not, they'll find a way in either way. He will walk on your premises whenever he wants. He doesn't keep master keys, so if you lose them, it's your fault, not his. He has no idea what's going on with the utilities and will force you to pay for his costs out of pocket and forget to reimburse you. He will make you set up trash services after ignoring you for weeks. He will lie to you and say you have to set up utilities under their name, but the company has no address on file, so you'll have to put it under your name, which also includes the single unit attached to your unit (so get to know your neighbor well because you'll be paying for them). Nice place but absolutely horrible management.

I had a terrible experience with Constellation Reality Management. When I moved into my apartment in October , the bathroom sink was clogged and the rod was broken. I requested maintenance, but they didn't fix it. Then, my kitchen sink started gurgling and got backed up. It turned out that my neighbor below me had a clogged sink too, and they had to fix it from the neighbor above me. This took a whole day because the pipes were old and dirty. A few days later, the fan in my kitchen was rusty and leaking water, causing damage to the ceiling, walls, and cabinets. It took them a week to send someone to check it out after I expressed concerns about mold. The handyman opened up my walls to check for damage but didn't come back to paint them. The patches remained until I moved out. In spring 2020, during the pandemic, my living room windows started leaking when it rained. I requested maintenance, but they never responded. When it came to paying rent, they sent a rude email saying they were committed to serving residents, but then insisted that rent was still due and they didn't care about our circumstances. They constantly hounded me for missing rent, even though I tried my best to pay something each month. I applied for rental assistance and got chosen in a lottery system. However, when I asked Constellation to send me the remaining money after paying off my debt, they refused and said they would return it to the assistance program. When I contacted the program, they said they didn't take money back and that Constellation should pay me. After numerous calls and emails, Constellation finally agreed to pay my new landlord instead of me. It was a hassle to get them to follow through. Overall, the move-out process was also obnoxious, with no one showing up to collect keys and mail. I strongly advise against renting from Constellation Reality Management. They are not worth the headache!

This company was hired to manage a property of mine and hasn't given me any payments due from tenants. They claim they're not only the management company but also the property owners, and that's completely made up.
1/11/23: I put in a maintenance request because the window in my kitchen was cracked
1/11/23: I put in a maintenance request because the window in my kitchen was cracked. It's not exposed to the outside, so no glass was falling or anything.
1/12/23: The maintenance guy came to fix the window, but he accidentally let my indoor cat out. I found her a few hours later hiding outside. He also made the window even more broken and left it like that. I tried calling the office multiple times, but no one answered.
1/12/23: Finally, I got a call back from someone named ***. They apologized and said they would order a new window, but it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive. They also offered to reduce my rent as an apology.
1/13/23: I got a message from *** saying that the window would take 4 weeks to arrive.
1/31/23: I sent a text to the property manager, ***, to follow up on the rent reduction and window update, but I didn't get a response.
2/17/23: They started doing roof repairs on the building, and debris was falling off near my back door. The management didn't give any notice about this or warn us about the construction. I reached out to *** (the property manager) about this and to remind him about my previous message. He replied via text, saying, "Hi ***, let me meet with *** directly on this an get back to you." I called him to ask when I could expect an answer, but he said he was inspecting a building until 5pm and would only talk to *** if he saw him in the office. I asked if he could at least give me an update on the window, but he just said he was busy inspecting and didn't offer any help. Later, *** sent messages to all the residents about the construction and the possibility of debris falling off the roof. It's been over 4 weeks with this broken window, and I still haven't gotten an update or the promised rent reduction. *** acted like I was bothering him about something unimportant on the phone, as if I hadn't given him enough time. Falling debris and a broken window are serious safety concerns that should be addressed quickly.

We havent got our *** Climate Credits for Electricity from SDG&E in August and September 2022. We got credits in past years and we got the gas credit in spring 22. On 11/4/22 I asked MULTIFAMILY UTILITY COMPANY (we are sub metered) because the credits didnt show on our bill. I got an answer on 11/22/22 saying no credits were given out. So I asked again why and got this statement: Dec 13, 2022, 19:21 PST Hello *** Thank you for contacting *** We apologize for the inconvenience. However, climate credits are applied once received from the appropriate source. Climate credits are applied twice a year for most April and October and others August and September. If your has not yet been applied it could be due to not receiving notice to be applied. No worries once the information has been received the credit will be applied to your invoice. We thank you for your patience. Best Regards,*** On 12/12/22I I contacted our Regional Property Manager *** of CONSTELLATION REALTY MANAGEMENT about the matter. *** hadnt heard about the Climate Credit. I gave a link and and the SDG&E phone number (SDG&E hasnt given us ANY information in the past because we are sub-metered and not an account holder). On 12/13/22 after a couple of e-mails *** stopped responding and doesnt answer phone calls or texts. On 12/22/22 ***, our neighbor in this apartment complex, contacted *** the Property Manager with Constellation Realty Management via text. *** also didnt know about the Climate Credits but agreed to report back after the holidays (copies of all correspondence available) On 1/5/23 *** asked again, gave more information, alas without any resolve, other that Constellation will get to the bottom of this. On 1/11/23 I called the Constellation Office and spoke to *** who, after conferring with accounts payable, said that I have to fill out an application and if I was found eligible I would receive the refunds. I also spoke to Mr. the Director of Operations, to complain about the lack of retort from the property managers. *** was aware of the Climate Credits but also thought that tenants must apply for it. He said he would look into the matter and get back to me the same day. *** called me back the same afternoon but hadnt answer as he himself was waiting for a call back. He promised he, or his office, will contact me the next day, also saying that he will leave town that day. I havent heard from anybody since. Our newest utility bill (for December 22) due today still doesnt include refunds. This leaves me to complain about the unprofessional and untimely conduct of Constellation Realty Management as well as *** The credits were due August and September 2022. Why do we not received them? What resources do I have to claim those credits and where does that money -intended for the utility customer- go to? An informal survey of various neighbors and friends (but not residing in this complex) shows that about half of them havent received a credit (or heard about it) while some have received it (without application).
