customer service cashier at checkout
I am a customer who is filing a complaint toward cashier young girl named Stacey! My name is Cindy Ortiz [protected] email [protected]@icloud.com I entered your store and had coupons give in mind I love your store just recently found out you except coupons through Facebook but never in my right mind did I ever think I would humiliated, embrassed, and disrespected for the whole line of customers to witness as well! Given the fact I have used coupons in my hometown of Lancaster who gladly excepts them with no problems!I had 5 coupons all different items cashier had a problem with me using coupons didn't want to take them I explained that your store did take coupons and she said "yeah I know" speaking to me in a very rude manner I asked her to see if she could scan coupons to see if they applied to your products and refused felt like I had to beg to use at least two which I ended up saving $1.55 which as a couponer any money saved is a deal and when needing to pay difference in the worst tone and manner I have ever had to deal with a cashier was told are you going to pay the difference or what I understand fully I had to pay but the way she said it so rudely infront of my 3yr old daughter with customer just staring wondering why there was a problem when all I wanted to do was use my coupons! I could understand Store policies but to.make a customer feel dumb and insecure for couponing is wrong I have never in my life dealt with such a rude cashier as bad as this one in my life and about to be 30 that says a lot& for my daughter to witness such hate is truly sad! My husband parked infront of the store right where the doors are and as I was leaving I just here her laughing with the other cashier and even customers you know I'm not some rite of joke especially not for her to tell other customers that really felt like high school days where she was being a bully and I'm not in high school for that to happen to me so I went back in the store and asked to speak to the manager and was told by cashier named Sara that I couldn't speak to one till Monday.I was I. That store on a Saturday 7/22/17 time as shown on receipt 20:33, to know that there is no one to complain to or a manager to speak with isn't right and don't believe cashiers should be without supervision as far as I know and have worked there is always some type of supervision or manger during the shifts! I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this but to then feel in my heart that maybe I should just give up on coupons or have a fear or insecurity that next time I go in I will be treated that way with my child next to me makes me sick! I truly hope my voice will be heard cause to wait and possibly not have a manager hear me truly plain sucks and I just don't want to feel like this again or see it happen to another customer ! How do I explain when I got in my car when my daughter asked why was the girl mean for her to even have to ask that after shipping at one of your stores is just horrible! Sincerly a customer who needs help on not being mistreated next time Cindy Ortiz phone# [protected] email [protected]@icloud.com thanku once again Dollartree Store# 1535 222East Palmdale Blvd Palmdale, ca [protected]
management
I work at the dollar tree store in Sun Valley California the one off of Glenoaks blvd I am an Assistant Manager at this store with an open workers comp claim I was assaulted by a crazy homeless person 4 months later my working environment is hostile I ended up getting legal counsel when originally I just wanted medical attention, to heal, and get back to work what inspired me to write this complaint is what has happened in the last week or so I have been working on light duty with my arm in a sling doing the best job I can do
recently since wages have increased to 12$ in California dollar tree has decided to decrease hours so at this particular location a lot of people like to come last minute the manager Jose decide to cut hours by letting the cashiers leave 30 min early so for the last 30 min I'm left in the store being the only cashier with long lines after ringing up all the people sometimes its 930 the time were expected to be clocked out and leaving the store so of course I have to stay longer to complete the deposit count the safe the tills etc the next day he yells at me for going over in hours I tell him look there's a long line I'm the only person he then tells me I've been doing it all week with no problem (now remember I've been running the store with one arm since the other arm is in a sling and can't be used) he also tells me that I owe him hours so I need to leave early to pay back those hours
dollar tree has also decided to cut my hours to 8 hrs a week and hire an assistant manager to replace me since this has happened he treats me like crap his goal is to make me mad enough to quit
the other night I came in I was supposed to be the manager that night behind my back he rescheduled the manager he hired to replace me to be the manager that night and told me to be the cashier he made her aware of every little mistake I've made being manager and told her not to do it and made sure he said it in front of me it wasn't just that he treated me like crap in front of customers even some customers were like you shouldn't be cashiering and he shouldn't be treating you that way also you can ask any employee repeat customers always come in and ask about me I've been at this store since it opened in 2014
after I was hurt he tried to fire me he wrote me up 5 times in one week for things that happened months ago luckily I had an attorney at this time and they threatened to sue so this stopped after that he has been trying his best to get me to quit
honestly this is ridiculous I shouldn't have to put up with a hostile working environment I hope not all dollar tree employees that have been hurt on the job have to put up with this
also this manager is rumored to be sleeping with an employee named Jessica all the employees talk about it a bunch are thinking about complaining since she gets all the hours and of course all the extra hours every time I need someone he says hold on 1 second later he says Jessica will do it that's not even enough time to call or text someone people have seen them getting in cars together when he didn't have a car she took him home (I assume) but they stayed in the car for a long time before pulling off it's sickening since the previous manager was let go for this among other reasons
customer service
In order to get exercise, I walked to the Dollar Tree store located @ 2300 W. Davison Ave. in Detroit, Mi 48238. Once I got to the checkout line, I asked the cashier for a large bag instead of several small ones to make my walk easier. It started to rip, so, I requested she double bag my items to prevent them from falling on the ground. She went on about how the bags weren't designed to hold a lot of items...how they were reserved for paper products only...how the company didn't send her alot so she had to save them. Blah blah blah. So I asked that my items be double bagged again. She started talking back so I went to another employee & requested the manager. She told me that the lady cashier, Sandy, was the manager. I asked for the corporate office contact info. She told me she was busy. I said I'll wait & demanded she give it to me. She said, "I ain't getting you nothing cuz you rude. I'm gone finish taking care of my customers." I can't believe this came about due to the request of my items being double bagged...a request that required no conversation at all. Ultimately, I ended up @ another store owned by an entirely different entity where the customer service was awesome & I got my double bags to make my walk easier.
management at new store in sugar creek mo
Mike is the store manager and he thinks that you can close the store whenever he wants because I was there 10 minutes till close he says I'm sorry we're closed that I need to leave therefore said I could not shop even though we had 25 people in the store still shopping that you can see outside of the door he was just standing at the door telling everybody else that nobody else can come in that we need to leave the parking lot as they were just talking and they're carrying on but we're not letting buy in the store that needs to get better management and better employees that know how to run a business and not these childish kids they are just one money I have been in the restaurant industry for 15 years I know how to run a business and the way they're running it at the new location is really bad they need to get better management the news Running Company

manager
I have gone in to my local dollar tree on a few separate instances recently, and one employee has me very concerned for the state of the company. I was unaware that it is now considered fine for employees to work at the registers in skin tight tank tops, and also that it is ok to have music blasting from their phones on the registers as well. I was also unaware that it is fine to let products as well as trash build up in the front of the store where everyone can not only see it but also trip over! I wonder at the management that allows the managers in their district to behave like this. As for the store and the offender, the stores address is 123 Willow lane, Mcdonough Georgia 30253, and the 'Manager' in question is named Edith. I sincerely hope that you have a solution to this issue. Thank you.
olivia at store # 6133
Hello,
I went to the Dollar Tree located at 3425 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21213 on July 16, 2017 to partake in the 10% off sale.
Upon placing my items on the checkout-conveyor belt, I asked the cashier if there was in fact a 10% off deal that day. She wasn't certain so she asked what appeared to be her supervisor, Olivia. Olivia replied, yes. Olivia then asked the cashier if the customer (me) had the actual voucher, if not, I would not be able to receive the discount. When I heard Olivia's statement, I informed the cashier that I didn't have the voucher in my possession. She repeated that to Olivia. Olivia asked if I had more than 10 items. The cashier and I both replied, yes. Olivia then said, we'll see after you ring her (me) up. That didn't make sense to me. So I told the cashier if I'm not going to receive the discount, I don't want the items, so I need the explanation to be clear. Olivia was not consistent and it was causing confusion. The cashier then asked Olivia for clarity. Olivia responded in the most discourteous of tones, "like I said, if you doesn't have the voucher, you can't get the discount." I was taken aback, as her response was not warranted. At this point I told her that I would be contacting corporate and to stop speaking to me. A customer gave me a voucher since she saw what was going on. I thanked her and asked the cashier for the supervisors name.
I completely understand that the voucher was needed. I also understand that Olivia was not lucid in her responses. A customer attempting to gain clarity should not invoke a response of that nature, especially not from a supervisor.
I trust that you will speak to Olivia about polite customer service. I am a frequent shopper at this particular location and expected to be treated as a valued customer. I hope you would look into the matter, and make sure such an incident is not repeated. Your company has been known to provide good services, and such events tarnish the company name, so please address this issue soon.
Thank you!
towing issue
At 680 Bailey Road, Pittsburg, CA. 94565 Dollar Tree shares the same parking lot as Safeway at 660 Bailey Road, Pittsburg, CA. 94565.
Safeway has started a program to tow cars that have been parked longer than 1 hour, but there is no posted warning. This effects your customers too.
I visited the Dollar Tree, Burger King and then Safeway yesterday and it took longer than an hour and I was towed. Obviously I am not going to shop at any of these places anymore.
Since this effects you, you might want to let them know to STOP. It is unethical to tow your own customers or the customers of the stores next to you.
pokemon card
Please stop letting your employees and customers weigh the packs and get all the good card and leave the trash for people the my son to buy I took my son there to buy some cards and witness it with my own eyes that's just stealing and you guys just let pep get away with it what's that say about your company you basically just ripped my son off because he has no chance of getting any good cards
air conditioning
Store #111 1404 Old Aberdeen Road Columbus, MS
To whom it may concern:
The District Manager/ Owner, whoever, should be ashamed for not only allowing the doors to be open in the dead center of summer, July, and not having working air conditioner. I visit this location 2-3 times a week, and the hard working, always friendly employees are still working as hard and fast as they can, hotter than hell, no seriously just as hot in this store as it is outside. I understand circumstances arise, but it's been a month and everytime I ask an employee they respond with "they can't get anyone to come fix it" or "they are waiting on someone to come". Along with, a corporation that has 13, 600 locations and management can't provide industrial size fans for employees and customers, but have desk fans smaller than my hand attached to the cashiers register. This aggravates the hell out of me, not because I'm hot for the 5-10 minutes I'm in the store but for the employees who are still going above and beyond while standing in hell literally. This is a damn shame and I promise you, whoever, I will make a complaint every single day until these hard working individuals either get industrial size fans, or the air conditioner fixed. If administration from dollar tree had to work in that time environment it would be fixed immediately, but it's obvious that no one cares but expects employees to continue working, with a smile. Which they do and I completely appreciate their friendliness.

customer service/cashier
I like shopping here with my family to get little things because it is convenient and inexpensive, but I just have one complaint about a worker. I do not have her name, but she is an Indian lady at the Bissonnet and Hwy 6 location in Houston, Texas. The address is 9402 Hwy 6. She is always rude, unfriendly, nonchalant acting, she never ever smiles and hardly or never speaks, and the other day, she tried to yell at my son who was in the toy aisle. He bounced a ball and I told him to stop, then she came around the corner and told him, which I did not have much of a problem with because she works there, but then she followed him over to the next aisle and she continued to try to reprimand him, but he was just holding the ball now. I told her to calm down and I was handling him and to not talk to my son like that. She did walk away, but I feel like she overstepped her boundaries and she had such a nasty attitude over a kid with a ball. I have seen her many times and kids play in the toy aisle all of the time, including my daughter, and she never says anything to them, so I do not know what her reasons are for singling my son out, but I pray that is did not have anything to do with his race, because if it did, she needs to go. My children are well behaved and I am not raising troublemakers, because when I told him to stop, he did. She needs more serious customer service training because she is the opposite of what customer service should be. I hope that she receives training on customer service the next time I go back because her attitude will not stop me from going there, but I will not have anything to do with her which means I will wait for another cashier to check me out before I let her do it, not until she stops looking and acting angry at the world. She is just very unfriendly and nasty and as much as I do not like to give people my business after myself or my family has been treated like this, I do not see myself not shopping there over one rude person, but I may end up going to another location, or I will just go to dollar general. Please train her or she may need to find another occupation where she is not customer facing. Thank you.
store manager
just to let upper management know that the manager of dollar tree 701 galvin rd is very mean to customers and his employees. He was friendly in past years (Craig), but he must be having some personal problems that are following him to work. That is why there is such a high turn over rate of employees. The man has become very rude. I witnessed one girl employee crying after a encounter with Craig. Recently a employee came in to work one day and I guess he quit because I never saw him again!

false advertisement and cruel management
I went to our local dollar tree and purchased a ton of school supplies due to a ad I had on my phone stating 7/16/17 only all school supplies.65 cents at dollar tree as well as a 10% off total coupon due to the ad I discussed above. While at register I noticed items ringing up at regular price so I asked the lady and showed the ad on phone. She contacted laura the manager who stated no not at this location I said it states all dollar tree stores. They would not grant the ad told me to go i. Next day when manager was working with receipt and ad from phone. So we did and was treated like dogs with no success as well as contacted corporate while there and was told to file this complaint. Very unsatisfied and would like the ad granted for my sale and my money returned before a lawyer is contacted. Thank you
the supervisor of sylacauga, al!!!
On July 13, 2017 between the time of 12:30-1:30 I was verbally and almost physically attacked by the store supervisor. When it was her turn to ring me up I had a 100 dollar bill and she said she didn't have change and there was nothing she could do so I snatched my money back due to her turning down my services instead of telling me to wait until she had more money to change my hundred dollar bill. Well that must have fired her up because she jumped in my face and went off in front of the customer and I walked away and she followed me to my car curssing me taking pictures of me. It didnt end there, she even stood in the middle of the parking lot in front customers that was just coming into the store telling me to come back and fight her and that i was scared to come back. it didnt end until she ran after me to the stop sign and I was able to pull off. Like I said its all on video and in front of her customers. my email address is [protected]@gmail.com
